Well I had fun. It was Sunday free.play day. I had my parking validated from brunch for 4 hours. I spent a good 2 hours whooping them young babes in Mario cart ( drink holders attached) and few other games. I shouldn’t have tried the seesaw tho. My back still hurts. They had a good sunday funday dj. I had a few over priced beers but with the free games that’s OK. I don’t think I would come any other time and pay for those old school games but bartenders (male n female) were all young good looking energetic and friendly so I would come back n have a few drinks. Just was a fun spot

Various Artists Brewing – Menu with Prices – 1011 Elm Hill Pike, Nashville

This is by far my favorite spot in Nashville. My husband and I first went in while we had family visiting. We were lured in by a Facebook post about charcoal grilled burgers and, of course, the beers! We next checked their website to see other possible food options, as we had a vegetarian coming along. The FAQs section of the website was not only super informative but had a certain wit and humor to it that sealed the deal! We went in for an early dinner and beers and were BLOWN AWAY! Immediately walking in we were greeted by the friendly, laid back staff and we felt right at home. We chatted with the inviting young woman working the counter! We sat and quickly made friends with customers around us. Our beers were delicious and cold and the food…. TO DIE FOR. The prices are more than fair, food fresh and good portioned. My husband and I went back last week for our second visit ; a little Sunday Funday. We were hoping they would have burgers cooking again, or really anything on the grill but they were still working on figuring out the prime hours to have their food menu running. We totally get it. We chatted with Pat, working the bar, and some folks sitting next to us. We stayed for almost two hours enjoying beers and some community bread (delicious) and olive oil dipping sauce that was set out. We cannot say enough about the service, quality of product and overall GOOD ENERGY of this spot. It is a small space, which really, adds to the cool vibe and community feel. We will be back at least once a week. Make sure to bring a growler so you can take some beer home with you !!! Family friendly – great prices – great staff – very clean – great atmosphere – delicious, fresh food – funky decor – games – great front patio – COLD BEER!

The Coin-Op Arcade – Menu with Prices – 233 E M L King Blvd, Chattanooga

I think this place is one of my favorites in Chattanooga. There was an article out about the owner and how he used his childhood toys (which are awesome by the way) to decorate. Pros: – Cheap drinks (beer + soda) – variety of beers – food specials during the week (and they are usually cheap and themed as something you would make at home. – customer service is great – fun arcade games and some are even free to play – stage and live entertainment some nights Cons: – no liquor – but it’s not that kinda vibe – not many places to sit and eat (but again it’s not that kind of place) I find myself constantly playing Guardians of the Galaxy pinball. It’s worth a stop just to play!! Such a cool game. There’s a coin machine there to get your coins and atm! The bartenders are always friendly and quick to get you food or drinks! Every time I meet someone here, they’re super friendly! Also – this place is dog friendly!

I/O Arcade Bar – Menu with Prices – 720 Williamson St, Madison

One of my favorite bars in town. They don’t have a lot of games but the variety is there. From a wall of pinball machines, old school single players to new school 10 players. Yes, that’s 10 players – Killer Queen is the game and rare in the nation. You have racing games, fighting and shooting games. Another new one is a 4 player PAC-Man. And the 4 player console of Mario Smash Bris. projected on a screen (free to play, first come first serve). So the variety is definitely there. Also, most games have either cup holders built in or a spot along side of the game for your drinks. It does get pretty “pac” weekend nights but hey, there’s a bar you can get drinks from and tables you can chill at. The barcade has a nice balance between bar and arcade, whether you just want to hang and drink or just want to feed the machines with all your laundry quarters, they serve both purpose. They have an ATM and two change machines. And the staff are super friendly and can help with any game issues or tips on playing the games ?

Bourbon Street Casino – Menu with Prices – N Major Ave, Henderson

Went to watch the football game here for the first time. It was nice, the layout was very spacious. They have a lot of gaming and arcade games as well. The ambience was cool. Lots of tv screens to enjoy a good game! There’s also food. A regular sports bar kind of menu. The deep fryer was down but I guess they microwaved a lot of the items. The hamburger I ordered was awful! And I mean awful to the point that I couldn’t eat it! But the fries were good so I let that slide. They also have popcorn for free as long as you’re there but they were a little overwhelmed by the amount of ppl that were there to enjoy the game they didn’t have time to get that popping. That would have really been nice to enjoy! Their were only 2 bartenders to wait on everyone, on a Sunday during the last end of football season, that was not ok being they were getting a lil snappy with everyone who came up to the bar to ask for anything!! Free drinks as long as you were gambling. That was far, few and between being they were trying to clean, get ppl drinks and food at the same time. A little behind on the beer selection. They advertise a lot of beer on the menu but if you ask for it they don’t have it! A lil disappointing. Don’t advertise it on the menu until you have it in stock. Overall I would try this “sports bar” again because it wasn’t that bad. I played the arcade games, gambled, ate, and drank. The downside is they need more help on a Sunday maybe to serve all the guest without getting overwhelmed. That took the joy out of them being able to be nice and put on a happy face. They both seemed a lil irritated because it was so busy and they couldn’t keep up with the demands of the guest. I can understand that. Oh I forgot to mention that they only ACCEPT CASH! so please leave your credit card at home. They’re quick to point out the ATM machine they have in the back they must of some sort of agreement with the bank

Portside Lounge – Menu with Prices – 3000 Dryades St, New Orleans

This has turned into my Sunday afternoon place. Just for a few hours. We get to hang with the super friendly owner Danny or his awesome bartender Shannon. The drinks are all good. Until recently, I wasnt a gin drinker. They are converting me to one. There is a new bigger house cocktail list that my bff Wade and I try and get 3 news off the list on our Sunday visits. In between the new drinks, I enjoy the tried and true House Punch. It is a ever changing, evolving rum punch that is different on each visit. It is also one of the cheaper drinks. Its a great go to. There is also a few good beers to drink too. This isnt a snob bar by any means. I am talking a really chill laid back place to pass a afternoon. On most Sundays, they support local food pop ups. Queen Trini Lisa is there with her Trinidad doubles (love them!) or there is a burger night, or some bbq and I heard Kims Tamales will be there soon too. Follow Portside on Instagram to keep up with the pop ups and bands. They describe themselves as a remote island in central city. It actually is! Smack in the middle of a kinda sketchy hood, but dont let that stop you. Even on late nights when there is live music like Yellowman or the Suplecs playing, I havent seen any troubles. It is a dog friendly bar as well. The regular dude is Ringo. A all white lovie baby that is deaf. He should be reason enough to visit! Heads up, they make some mean bloody Marys too using St. Roch vodkas.

The Clubhouse – Menu with Prices – 6000 S High St, Columbus

Tonight, me and my family had the worst experience while visiting this location. Alexander (the bartender) was extremely rude! I had bought a shot for me and my step father, and left a $2 tip. Came back shortly after for another drink, and Alexander poured me literally half a shot and i was appalled! I looked at a young lady that was next to us at the bar, that had been there laughing beforehand, and said “not to include you in this, but you seen my shot before, aren’t I being cheated?” She shook her head yes, and said it’s not worth it go to the other bar so that’s what I did. And then Alexander then proceeds to say “if you take care of the bartenders, we take care of you”. So clearly a $2 tip wasn’t okay in his opinion for the drinks prior!?! After going to get another drink from the other bar. My family wanted to go back to the original bar to get a drink. Me myself, I was fine and didn’t want to drink anything. Upon our arrival, Alexander pulls the bartender to the side and says everyone besides me can drink…. which is fine, because I didn’t plan to. But don’t limit me, when I’ve had two drinks since being here. So i then see the manager in duty, and speak with him for roughly 20 mins. Several times while speaking with the manager, Alexander continues to make smart comments, states that he feels uncomfortable and is going to call security, and I’m not even speaking with him. For a young college educated African American male who works in a Corproate environment where it’s our main focus to serve the customer, I am extremely embarrassed to have received this type of treatment. Especially with having been on with my family on a Friday night, just trying to have a good time. Alexander then says to my cousin, “do I need to loose my job tonight”. What type of environment is this where employees can make threats to paying customers that have spent over $100+ at the bar and over $400+ collectively at the casino playing games? As me and my family are leaving, I see a lady looking at me (which turned out to be security, and the head of security(a male next to her)), and asked me to come over. So me and my family walk over to her and speak with her and a gentlemen briefly in regards to the issues. 1. No customer should EVER be told “if you take care of the bartenders, we take care of you”, as well as told my mother that I didn’t tip when buying a drink. Regardless if I tipped $2, or $0, it’s the principle of customer service and not telling me that pretty much a tip amount will justify how much more alcohol I will get and then following such, treating me rudely for the rest of the night in front of many other individuals. My second issue #2 all throughout the process of me speaking with the manger, he kept having to tell Alexander to walk away because he felt the need to chime in and defend himself. First saying that I had 3 drinks in 2 hours, then said 2 drinks. Said how my step father had a $45 tab, and didn’t tip which wasn’t true! Long story short, my family loves to come to the casino! But myself, I will not be returning. If you are an African American man, please beware of environments like this. Because I hate to have felt racially profiled & embarrassed for leaving a $2 tip for 2 shots! As well as my family continue to be talked to in a very rude manner, while other customer are not only around. But also spoke up and told Alexander that he poured me a half a shot to begin with. Horrible customer service!

T. F. Brewing – Menu with Prices – 936 S 300 W, Salt Lake City

Stumbled upon this gem after an unfortunate encounter with a giant screw on State street. The screw tore a hole in my mom’s tire, as we were driving to my final bridal dress fitting. Instead of trying on my dress, we got towed to Big O tire, and informed that we needed to buy 4 new tires. As desperation settled in, I looked to the left and noticed a nice brewery next door, one that I had driven by many times before (on my way to Costco) and been curious about. We decided to go instead of waiting for our car to be fixed in the tire shop. We had delicious beers, played Connect 4 and Jenga (many other games were available), a taco truck was parked outside to satisfy potential food cravings, and the bartenders were super friendly. There is a beautiful indoor space as well as a large patio (dogs welcome). Both my mom and I left with some beers to take home, one of them is 10.2% so I will keep that one for future misadventures… nothing like a good strong brew to drown my sorrows. If you’re in the mood for a cool spot to day drink delicious Utah crafted beers, this brewery is for you.

IBU Brewery – Menu with Prices – 3703 Brewerton Rd, Syracuse

IBU is tucked away, if it weren’t for the sign, you’d probably miss it. Look for the Green building. This place has indoor cornhole, jumbo janga and tons of board games for you to play while you enjoy a beer. Their beer selection was limited, however, with several beers either fermenting or on slated to be on tap in the future. The bartender was very friendly, offering $2 4oz beers, $3 8oz, and $6 16oz. We liked the Cram Session pale ale a lot. They offered chips for a dollar, but free pretzels or popcorn is an easy welcomed improvement. Plan to come back in the future when there’s more beers on tap. Hopefully more IPAs!

The Oak House Durham – Menu with Prices – 126 W Main St, Durham

Such a rad spot on Main St! If I lived here I would be here all the time. It’s got all my favorite things: house-roasted coffee, local craft beers, wines from the best regions of California, Italy, Argentina and more, bar seating, strong wifi, outlets, and parking close by. The staff are so nice and knowledgeable on their products. I really have nothing bad to say about this place. My family and I came here to grab drinks and play some intense family card games. We grabbed the community table in the back, ordered our beverages and the staff brought over a couple jugs of complimentary water for us to share. The background music was at perfect level, the place was bumping but not too crowded for comfort, and all seemed to be really enjoying themselves. My family headed out and I stayed to work for a couple hours, which naturally meant finding the perfect beer to accompany me. The bartenders were hilarious informing me about their beers and giving me taste testers to make sure I found the perfect one. The Starpoint DIPA was amazing but the keg was tapped so I ended up going with a non-local sour. I also got a cold brew to-go for the next morning which was delicious, low in acidity and easy to sip on throughout the morning. Oak House is big on locally sourcing. If I understood correctly, their pastries are from the local bakery Whisk & Rye, the use a local creamery for their milks, and their teas are local. They have live music nights, run groups, tastings and board game nights. It’s a great spot to grab coffee and a pastry in the morning, and enjoy drinks with friends at night. I recommend for working, as well. Definitely check this place out, I know I’ll be back!

Prairie Artisan Ales – Menu with Prices – 3 NE 8th St, Oklahoma City

I absolutely love this place. Prairie changed my mind on beer and now I appreciate craft beers. Well most of them. Still learning to drink the heavier stouts etc. but don’t get me wrong. The stouts are bursting with flavor and some of the yummiest. But I can’t seem to drink a lot of it in one sitting (yet). My favorite thing here is the changing menu. I love to pop in to see what else the decided to throw in a barrel. My favorite as far as beers have been some of the sours. I’ve had sours in the past where it was just well. Sour. And you don’t really get to taste the hints of whatever was in the description. But at Prairie you definitely can call out what they included. They one had a vanilla orange dreamsicle ish sour. So good! The cherry ones are literally outstanding. Such a craft and skill and so excited for this Oklahoma company. Thank you prairie for introducing me, well mostly making me fall in love with good craft beers! Love the atmosphere too. Sometimes we’ll walk around the area and end here for a treat. The byo food is so fun. They have board games that my family and friends and I have had tons of Sunday fundays here. Also there is trivia on Sunday. The only thing I dislike are the hours! We like beer on weekdays too! ? they close relatively early at 9. Which sure a lot of places do in OK so they are not the only ones. But this is one place I always think of going to. Then realize it’s already 8 and decide to go somewhere else that stays open until at least 11 so you don’t feel like you’re keeping the staff etc and can still be comfortable and take your time.

Kurabi Bubble Tea – Menu with Prices – 3821 Airport Blvd Ste. A, Mobile

I used to like hanging out at Kurabi when they first opened. It’s very nice and chill. Good spot if you want to hangout with friends because they have board games and card games you can use for free! They also have free wifi if you need to study but some nights there are game tournaments happening and it gets so loud. They have lots of drink flavors to choose from and you can also customize the sugar level of your drink! If you’re unsure which one to get, they have free taste of certain flavors ? They have numerous add-ins too but I just always get the tapioca pearls. They also have some goodies you can munch on. Taking one star off because the store had been crazy (see picture attached). It’s full of different stuff which makes the store look so messy. I wish they can clear things out or at least hide it behind the game shelf. Nonetheless, it’s still a great spot for boba. The crews are friendly and patient with my indecisiveness (I know, it’s embarrassing haha) Try it when you get a chance!

Grand Lake Kitchen – Dimond – Menu with Prices – 2042 MacArthur Blvd, Oakland

So much potential, but so much room for improvement. As a Dimond resident I was super stoked to have GLK open across the street from my house. Came in tonight with my fiancé to watch the warriors game and grab a drink- it’s hot AF. First disappointment, no air conditioning. Next up, we sat at the bar for a solid 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Now, typically places get pretty slammed for warriors games. I understand; this location is new, but for a tenured Bay Area restaurant to open a new spot- you’d expect more. There were about 8 sat tables and approximately 11 guests at the (gorgeous) bar. With two bartenders, and not a huge drinking crowd, you’d think this is manageable? When we finally did get approached, the male bartender was cordial and nice enough. Unfortunately he seemed a bit flustered and quite nescient to the wine list. Again, could be because it’s a new place but I wasn’t asking sommelier level questionsSaint Tropez Bistro and Beyond”
