OMG I’ve been waiting for this location to open for months!! I had been driving past to see if they were open and then boom I received an email that they were open so I knew I had to stop by. This location is quite spacious and very modern, the decor is lovely and welcoming. Plenty of tables and seating as well as a small outdoor patio. The layout of the line is nice (other locations have a weird layout and with a few people in line you end up out the door). Opening weekend they were running a special from 11am-2pm all Kojas were $3 and with any purchase you also received a free fountain drink. Believe it or not although I’ve been to some of the other locations I’ve never had a Koja so I was excited to finally try one. I ordered “The Original” Koja and Garlic Soy Wings. My food about 10-12 minutes since I ordered wings and those take a little longer to cook but that was perfect. The Original Koja was pretty big, bigger than I had expected. The rice buns were unique and cooked perfectly, the outside had a nice crisp to it while the inside of the rice was nice and soft. The short rib was so delicious and flavorful as it usually is when I order the bowl. There was a generous amount in the Koja so much so that with each bite short rib was falling out. The meat was very tender and full of flavor. The sesame vinaigrette lettuce and katsu aioli complimented the meat very well and all of the flavors were great together. I will most definitely be ordering that again. The garlic soy wings were delicious as well, they were cooked to perfection with the skin being really crispy while the chicken was still moist and juicy. The flavors are crazy you get the sweetness of the honey with the strong garlic flavors but it’s not overpowering. So flavorful! I love Koja Kitchen and after my first visit I know this location will be my new go to. The food was amazing and customer service was great. Welcome to Fremont and Pacific Commons! If you like Korean Fusion food I highly suggest coming here, Koja is killing the game with their delicious food.

The green lounge Hot Wings – Menu with Prices – 13175 Jefferson Ave, Newport News

Never judge a restaurant by its location. Hot Wings is a gem smack dab in the middle of a strip mall. If you’re looking for ambiance, this ain’t the place. BUT, if you’re looking for some damn good wings, this place is winner winner chicken dinner….sorry, had to do it. With over 40 varieties to choose from, these are amazing!! My hubby and I got 20 wings (honey bbq and spicy garlic herb) plus fries and 2 bottled waters for $20. The wings were very well seasoned and cooked to perfection! We were both pleasantly surprised. The fries are ok…wish we had gotten the Cajun fries. They have an extensive Vietnamese menu as well as fish and shrimp dinners. While you’re waiting for your food, you can also have a key made-random, but whatever.. Bottom line, Hot Wings is THE place for wings….go get you some!!!

Sunny Hot Wings – Menu with Prices – 7910 N Lower Sacramento Rd, Stockton

Sunny Hot Wings is a newly opened business which makes it a perfect place to try out all the foods and flavors they have to offer. I came in with my friend on a Thursday evening and was delighted to see a welcoming staff greeting both of us. We ordered wings in Sunny hot flavor and garlic fries. I heard from my friend that their garlic fries were really good, so I decided to give them a try. I was surprised to see that they were well-made, crispy, delicious, and seasoned with just the right amount of garlic. The wings were really great as well. If you like spicy hot flavors, I would definitely recommend the Sunny hot flavor. Besides that, I was also impressed with the fast, courteous and reliable customer service they provided. I highly recommend this place. Itâ??s perfect for gatherings or a casual date night. They also serve delicious and flavored smoothies and shakes. Be sure to try those out too!

Wings and Tea Cafe – Menu with Prices – 10709 Town Center Dr #110, Rancho Cucamonga

Came here for some wings for the cross rival Lakers-Clippers game. And wanted to try a different place other than wingstop. So after some research I decided to give this place a go. I went with 80 bone in wings, and it came out to about $70 which is a tad on the high side. Placed the order over the phone, and the lady over the phone was really nice. Actual restaurant is right next to the terra vista movie theater, and is pretty small inside. By the time I got there, 30 min later the wings were ready. Customer service is on point. They even seperated all the different flavors with foil and even labeled each one so we knew which flavor is which, which was really nice. They even gave me a large box to carry them in which is just so thoughtful!! The chicken wings were well cooked. Tender and moist. Not dry at all. Actual skin was crisp and well seasoned. I tried several of their flavors including thai chili, mango habanero, lemon pepper, garlic parmesan, honey garlic and buffalo garlic. Flavors were all solid. Mango habanero was spicy but not as hot as the ones at wingstop. The honey garlic was really good as well, lemon pepper slightly too salty. Thai chili had a nice kick to it. Overall, this is a solid wing place, and it doesn’t hurt to have some boba and tea drinks to go with it too. Wouldn’t mind coming here again for my chicken wing fix. Solid place here in the heart of Rancho Cucamonga!!!

Kung Fu Tea Menu with Prices 2 Park Pl NE South, Atlanta

I was super excited when I saw sign that a KFT was going to open up in the GSU campus area! KFT has always been one of my favorite tea spots and this place is certainly no different from the rest of their locations! My favorite thing about KFT is mostly their fruit flavored teas as I feel this is where they are best at, but their milk flavored teas are not to be overlooked either. What surprised me most about this new location is all the seating that is available, twice as much than their Doraville and Duluth locations. I ordered my go to drink at KFT, the honey lemonade with less and 25% less sugar and it tastes the same as when I have ordered it at their other locations. That’s one of the great things about KFT, their consistency is always there despite the many locations they have. So you can rest assure that your favorite drink will taste the same despite the new location with a busier setting. This location will definitely see me more than their other ones though thanks to its convenient location near GSU and it’s larger size.

Blessin Restaurants – Triana Blvd – Menu with Prices – 2900 Triana Blvd SW Suite M, Huntsville

Discovered this gem today on my way home. I’ve heard about the Meridian location for some time but I haven’t had a chance to try them out. For $4.58 (odd price but I’m not complaining), I was able to get a 6 pc combo with a small fry and small drink. After tasting these delicious wings, I kicked myself for not getting the 10 pc. Lol. Their wings are seriously the best wings I’ve tasted in the area. I requested for my wings to be cooked extra crispy and they were perfect along with the hot, seasoned fries that accompanied them. There is very limited seating so don’t plan to dine in. I spotted maybe 3 tables or so and those were taking by customers waiting for their orders. After placing my order, I waited maybe 15 minutes or so. The wings are cooked to order so be prepared to wait if you want hot and delicious wings. If I’m not mistaken, I believe you can call ahead before pick up. Based upon the menu posted here, it appears that this location only has wings versus the Meridian location that has wings, chicken strips, burgers and etc. Best wings in town and the prices are incredibly reasonable here. Hopefully my next experience will be just as good as this one. Nothing showy here; just darn good wings. Service was decent for take out.

Golden Flame Hot Wings Menu with Prices 18757 E Hampden Ave #156, Aurora

He loves chicken wings. They are his go to food when he travels for work. And this place has his favorite wings. Better than Buffalo Wild Wings he says. And this location makes the wings crispy and tasty. To me, better than other franchise locations. It was a snowy day but that made having wings a warming experience. They were busy with take out orders so that left lots of seat choices for us. And parking is usually available here which is nice. We had our staple of dinner for two which is 20 pieces of wings, drinks and fries. Should have ordered a different story of fries but we didn’t – regular fries it was. The wings were in golden flame sauce which has a slight kick but nothing we couldn’t handle. We still think there are way too many fries but I take them home so they’re not wasted. They make the wings pretty quickly but if you don’t like waiting you can order beforehand.

Best Wings Of Memphis – Menu with Prices – 951 Getwell Rd, Memphis

This is part of a chain of hot wing places in the city. I’ve not eaten at their other locations, so can’t compare it to their other sites. This location is relatively new. The store was clean, and the service was good. There is dine in as well as takeout, and also drive-through. Parking was adequate, and it was easy to get in and out of the parking lot. I ordered the four piece mild whole wings. The wings were fried, and then covered with the sauce. Wings were average size, and the taste is about what you would expect of most wings The wings came with two rolls, a few carrots and small celery slices, and ranch dressing dip. Overall I would rate the wings as average. If I was in the area and hungry for wings, I would stop here again. But up I was really interested for a serious meal of wings, I would probably go to Buffalo wild wings or another place.

Rooted Garden – Menu with Prices – 419 S Parramore Ave, Orlando

We ordered fish sandwiches and wings. Our wings were almost raw and had blood inside still. Never have I ever had chicken that under cooked. The wings were also so small. Never will I return to this location or recommend it to anyone.

Mission Street Ice Cream & Yogurt – Featuring McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams – Menu with Prices – 201 W Mission St, Santa Barbara

Let me start by saying this: THIS IS THE BEST ICE CREAM SHOP IN SANTA BARBARA. I’ve been here many times in the past and never have I been disappointed. Flavor availability changes depending on the season, but there are the standard regular popular flavors to be had as well. Location/Parking: On the corner of De La Vina and Mission Street with one way streets. Parking is extremely tight here and the only thing I don’t like about this location. Probably only a total of about 5 parking spots with the rest street parking. You want to test your parallel parking skills? Here’s your chance. Flavors: What can I say? Take you pick and choose before you get in line if it’s short. If you get behind an indecive group or a long line, you’ll have time to pick. Or maybe not. The list is LONG for flavors. No joke. And they do ice cream sandwiches too. Feeling stunned yet? I know I was on my first visit. I got the cookies n’ cream in a cup and I was in heaven. I could dive into that ice cream bucket if it were big enough. Summary: I could care less if it’s cold out, I will come here for my ice cream when I’m in the mood. There are other locations in CA (Santa Monica and Los Angeles), but the experience just isn’t the same for some reason and the parking isn’t easy either for the other ones. If you visit Santa Barbara, you must try this place if you’re in the mood for ice cream. I think these guys would give Ben&Jerry a run for their money if they ever decide to go the oddball-flavor route

Halal Wings Plus – Menu with Prices – 40860 Fremont Blvd, Fremont

There’s a pretty good Muslim presence in this area, so suffice to say Halal Wings did their homework and is a welcoming site for this locale. Their other location is in the middle of the Tenderloin in SF, holla! All meats are halal and they offer wings, much like Wing Stop. Also offer burgers and chicken sandwiches. Fast Food Set-up as this used to be a KFC for yeaaaarrrrssss. They did a decent job at giving it a more modern look. Tried a couple of flavors on the wings. They have different sizes, starts at 12 pieces for about $9. You can add another sauce for every 12 wings. Wings come with ranch. Though it states you order wings by the number, it is more likely you are getting it rather by weight. Instead of getting 12 wings, we all got much more, like closer to 20. Now they were smaller than what we get else where. But it did get them nice and crisp without drying out the interior. But they were like 2-3 bite wings. This is a key point here, as some may not mind it, but some may have fits and think they’re getting cheated. I was totally fine with it, even though I joked once saying “these are some damn good hummingbird wings huh?!” Original Spicy (4*) These are your basic Buffalo style. Not as vinegar-y as some get, which is a plus. Spice, totally not hot, even though it says it is second from their spiciest level, which is the Mango Habanero. It does have a good red chile flavor, but it is also pretty salty, which is more normal than not. I could of eaten the full amount but the salt was just getting to me about 1/2 way through. I muscled 3/4 of it. If I would of been watching a game and drinking beer, I would of finished it, in the course of an hour though. Spicy Lemon Pepper (4*) They have a regular lemon pepper as well. This seemed like normal lemon pepper, but with a dusting of red pepper in the mix, probably cayenne is my bet. It does offer a zing, but again, is NOT spicy. It seems to have more of a “buttery” coating than say Wing Stop. It does make it tasty, but it also makes it a tad more “greasy”. Jones St. Burger ($10/2*) I had to get this because I think I’ve been offered illegal goods on Jones St. SF, which is where they’re first location is at. The name got me. This is their ‘cheese burger’. Nice looking burger. Thick and compact. Nice bun, nice well browned thick halal burger patty. But the patty was far from a normal burger. It tasted like an Afghani Chapli Kabob, which is a seasoned ground beef kabob. The meat tasted of garlic, red pepper and salt. It was crazy tasty, but unfortunately it was also cooked pretty dry. The bun looked great also, definitely a good notch above your standard fast food bun. It almost looked wheat-like in color. But it too was dry, not sure it was from the toast, or just a staler piece of bread. After 1/2 of the sandwich, I just removed the top bun and ate it open face style. For the price, it also comes with fries. They are the thin, frozen type. Not my fave, but mandatory to eat a few, whilst munching on a burger. Probably wouldn’t come back for a sandwich, but I would definitely come back and get some wings for take-out. Most probably for a game to watch with the buds. Football season, come on down! And we will definitely have beer no matter whose house were at, which they don’t have here.

The Port Of Peri Peri – Menu with Prices – 3283 Walnut Ave, Fremont

As someone who has always wanted to go to Nandos (but has never been), I was pretty excited to see this restaurant pop up in Fremont that serves similar things – Chicken and peri peri sauce. I was in the area for an optometrist appointment and found this place on Yelp. I’ve lived in Fremont for 23 years and was wondering when a restaurant like this would open where you can get good protein (chicken) and a side of rice AND also be a order at the counter and sit down type of restaurant. My girlfriend and I ordered the All For One platter with mild sauce (1/2 chicken plus 3 wings & a side) to share. Got 2 orders of Cassava Fries as the side Portions: Chicken was bone in so there wasn’t as much meat as I wanted. Fries are on the smaller side in small side bowl but they are very thick. Wings are small but definitely pack flavor. I have a big appetite so I probably could have ate more chicken since I shared the platter with my girlfriend. So if you are hungry and have two people, maybe opt for something more than the All For One Platter. Taste: The chicken wasn’t dry, especially if you get it with sauce. The 1/2 chicken came with white and dark meat. The dark meat wasn’t dry at all, and even the white meat was cooked well. The peri peri sauce had a slight tang to it but was still slightly spicy and sweet. It was delicious in my opinion. They also had bottles of the peri peri sauce on the side counter that you could bring to your table. There was also a white sauce bottle which was some garlic sauce but it tasted a little like ranch. What I did was mix both the white sauce and orange sauce and it was delicious, dunking my chicken and fries into it. Wings were great, and again dunking it in the white garlic sauce and the peri peri made them even better. Cassava fries were a great alternative to regular fries. They are a bit dry but were salted nicely and fried well, and along with the sauce you don’t notice the dryness at all. I would gladly get the cassava fries again if I wanted to skip out on the carbs from regular potato fries. Verdict: If I still lived in Fremont, I would come here at least once a week! Next time I would have to try the tenders and rice combo since I’m not the biggest fan of bone-in chicken (but it was still tasty here).

Hot Wings Express – Menu with Prices – 5452 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery

Decent little hood spot for wings. I ordered the Korean-style wings and they were pretty good. 15 wings, fries and a drink for like 12 bucks isn’t bad. Seems like they force to get either sweet tea or lemonade with the combo. Doesn’t matter to me, I drink those regularly. But if you don’t like either then you’re out of luck. What irritated me was the fact that I had to order all 15 wings as Korean-style in order to get that flavor. I like to get 2-3 different flavors, especially when I go to a new place. Not sure why they make customers do that. Those wings were good, don’t get me wrong, but I wanted to try the garlic pepper wings too. If I go there again, I’ll let you know. The fries were basic fries, nothing special, the lemonade was good. My recommendation would be to try it once and see if you like it. Past that, you’re on your own.
