Truly a hidden gem loved my experience.. i would highly recommend. I called a head jus to see how i liked the over the phone customer service i was pleased. When i sat down to eat a few hours later(took me for ever to get dressed) the owner asked if i was the one who called in. I was amazed by this. The food is very traditional i have been searching for a good koren bbq spot for a while since moving to Augusta. I love the layout of the location.. the owner and his wife keep the place clean. I was impressed. I would have liked to have more variety on sides, thats just me being spoiled. Overall it was nice to actually get what i was craving so badly and not have to leave the city limits to do it. Great portions of meat to rice. The spicy cabbage was a new side for me and it was amazing so was the kimchi! Already cant wait to go back

Smokin Chikin – Menu with Prices – 1820 Tiny Town Rd Suite A, Clarksville

I really like this place. It’s too bad I don’t live near it as I would frequent it. I ate there with my wife and two children. Cashier was super nice and helpful. On top of lots of variety of sauces for your chicken, they have lots of well chosen sides that I feel would allow most to find something that suits them. My wife got pulled BBQ Chicken with Island Fried Rice and Mac & Cheese. She enjoyed everything but the rice (to be fair, she isn’t a rice fan in general). I got 1/4 White Chicken with Jamaican Jerk sauce (OMG, AWESOME!), Island Fried Rice and Loaded BBQ Chicken Fries. As a lover of rice, I was pleasantly surprised as the rice was perfectly cooked. If you like a little heat definitely get the Jamaican Jerk sauce! With that being said, we were most impressed with the kids meals. They got pulled chicken spread on top of mac and cheese on a plate. It was SUPER yummy! My wife and I each stole a bite from the kids. If I’m in the area again, that’ll definitely be one of my sides.

Golae Korean Cuisine&Sushi BBQ restaurant – Menu with Prices – 620 Dunlop Ln, Clarksville

For me, this place offers some of the most delicious Korean food in town. I was impressed with the variety that includes thing I didn’t even know about. I am by far an expert on Korean Cuisine but I have eaten enough of it around the globe to say this place delivers. The Kimchi is in the top 3 I have ever eaten. It is addictive! Very well-balanced flavor, not too sour not too spicy. The dish that stood out the most for me was the Kimchi Pancake. This dish was cooked perfectly. It had a very pleasing and appetizing color that just called to me to eat it. First bite was amazing. It was very well balanced in flavor and still had the sharp sour bite to it that in most pancakes that I’ve tried was cooked out. This had to be the best one I have ever eaten. All of the sides were fresh and tasty. There were sides that you typically don’t get in other places here. The fried dumplings were very good and the yummy pork filling was proportionate. The blend of filling was quite delicious and did not need any dipping sauce for me. They had a nice tempura style side dish that included shrimp and calamari. There was another side of sizzled steak and veggies that looked typical until I tasted it. WOW! The sauce definitely made it NOT typical. It had a light sweetness to it that went well on the dish. The steak was cooked perfectly. It was not tough or chewy as it can be sometimes. The chili paste was unlike I had ever had as well with a light smoky taste to it that set it apart for the normal. I had the Korean Sausage soup that came out hot and steamy. This also was very good. All in all, the dishes I tried were visually appealing with taste to match. The staff was exceptionally good and very friendly. The place was very clean and spacious. The K-pop videos playing on the tv was nice and the volume was not too loud. My experience here was a top-notch food experience. I highly recommend trying this place out. I will post a full video review soon.

MISSION BBQ – Menu with Prices – 1530 N Green River Rd, Evansville

I just had my first experience with Mission BBQ and I must say that I was impressed. The staff was super friendly and really accommodating, Jasmine specifically. I have to eat gluten free and they went out of their way to make sure my food was prepared properly to limit cross contamination. The BBQ was amazing! I had brisket and my wife had pulled pork. The meat was juicy and packed with flavor and their sauce choices and sides were the same. Since we live out of state we bought a six pack of their sauces to take home, we liked them so much. If you want amazing service and BBQ, this is the place to go. I would give them 10 stars of I could!

Dickey’s BBQ and Catering – Menu with Prices – 1412 Forum Blvd, Columbia

This place was ok. Stopped in and got some ribs and some chicken and some sides. Place was clean. Service was very friendly. The food. Well, my fiance told me they were good. I decided to get their ribs. I was not impressed. They had a good texture, they were fall off the bone pretty much. But, I didn’t care for the taste. Not sure if they were old, or, if I just didn’t like the dry rub they put on. Wasn’t a huge fan of their BBQ sauce either (original). My fiance got the chicken meal with two sides. She liked the chicken with the sweet BBQ sauce, but, said the sides weren’t very good at all. So, I’ll give them 3 stars. It was edible. Service was fast and friendly. But, I was not impressed with the food.

Charlottesville City Market – Menu with Prices – 100 Water St E, Charlottesville

I’m so happy I made it to Charlottesville City Market, and I was so impressed with what the market had to offer! While in a smaller space, the market is jam-packed with interesting vendors of really impressive variety. The City Market has everything you might possibly want, from sugar-free tomato sauce to CBD oil, from Korean eats to apple cider donuts to yak meat (you read that right!). I think the variety is what makes this place special. The vendors and market staff were super friendly. As other reviewers have noted, it does get quite crowded during peak hours. I definitely was bumped and did some bumping into people myself! Major highlight of the City Market was getting my hands on an apple cider donut & cold brew from Carpe Donut. I also got some amazing Virginia motif artwork from Lola & Bella Designs (artist: Lauren Stangil) and a miniature watercolor with gold leaf from Little Dreams (artist: Courtney Kincaid). I can’t wait to decorate my apartment with these! I wish I had more room in my belly to try the low glycemic bagels, meat pies, crab cakes, Mama Bird’s Korean eats, among MUCH MORE! Since I was coming from out of town, I was mostly focused on the grub and art. However, I did notice an amazing selection of produce to purchase. As other reviewers have noted, the City Market also has a composting station. I also appreciated they had recycling bins and signs educating/instructing people where to put their trash/recycling. Warms my heart! Unfortunately, pets are NOT allowed at the City Market, so leave Sargeant Sniffy at home when you stop by. Overall, I loved my experience at Charlottesville City Market and I can’t wait to come back next time I’m home!

Donut Delight – Menu with Prices – 225 E Amherst Dr, Tyler

I was craving some donuts here in Tyler, and this spot had the best reviews on yelp. My consensus? Friendly service, good variety of donuts, but on the sweeter/oily side on the donut spectrum. There’s a good amount of parking, especially when you go early in the day. They share parking in a plaza with a bunch of other shops/stores, so don’t worry about getting a spot here…even during peak times. Donut Delight is a tiny shop that seems to have a lot of local support. They sell donuts as well as breakfast tacos (which all have meat), kolaches and beverages. I enjoyed the donut holes, but they were on the soft side and left that oily aftertaste. I think I’ve been spoiled by Round Rock Donuts and my favorite donut shop in Austin. BUT their blueberry and old-fashioned donuts are pretty good. They bag all your donuts up for you, and service is with a sweet smile. Support your local businesses! It seems like Donut Palace is the chain to go to here in Tyler, but I’m all for supporting the stand-alones.

Rejhenesis CBD Menu with Prices 7470 District Blvd Unit E, Bakersfield

I was in Bakersfield, Ca a few weeks back and had heard about a new cbd store over on District St or Ave or whatever it is, so my wife, some friends and I went over to this place for the Grand opening, and we were all very impressed. The owner was totally professional, extremely knowledgeable about everything in the store. The staff was absolutely amazing, and the products were awesome. We were made to feel very welcomed, treated the way customers should be treated. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in the area. I will definitely go back! Thank you to the owner. Good luck.

American Deli – Menu with Prices – 2107 Eastern Blvd, Montgomery

Would give zero stars if I could! Last night we ordered via waitr from the Atlanta highway location and got spoiled wings that had my husband throwing up all night. When I called the manager the next morning she called me a lier said they dont sell wrong or bad food and that since we throw it away she will not do anything about it. I explained that I contacted waitr first and they told me to contact her, to which she said “no you didnt because they would have called me” never again would I do business with American deli!

Kansas City Cupcake Co. Cafe – Menu with Prices – 719 N 6th St, Kansas City

What a breath of fresh air!!! In the less attractive downtown of Kansas City, KS, this place is a true breath of fresh air! I almost felt I was in the Crossroads Arts District in Kansas City, MO! This place is so clean and feels like a little home. I feel like I will be coming here a lot to do homework or work on personal projects and enjoy a wonderful treat or a meal. Today was my first day here and my brother tagged along. He got a weekly special cupcake called turtle something and I got their special Oh My Gosh Ganache. Let me tell you that after trying these cupcakes I am on a mission to try every single cupcake on the menu. The cake was so soft and moist, and the frosting melted in my mouth perfectly. (I have had a big issue with cupcakes in the past from other vendors and the frosting is usually a big lump of hardened mess!) I was so pleased to enjoy the amazing frosting from these cupcakes. I also have to add that they not only have cupcakes but they also have a variety of sandwiches and beverages like coffee, teas, and soda. I ordered a grilled sandwich and added BACON for an extra $1. How amazing is that! It comes with the option of either a bag of chips or a fruit. I decided to be a little unhealthy and went with the chips. I already had bacon so why not right??? I will definitely be coming back for more! P.S. They a rewards card! After 12 cupcakes you get one free. Also they have the loyalty stars program. After ten stars you get a $2.49 off your next purchase!

Subs & Clubs – Menu with Prices – 3541, 1010 Woods Crossing Rd # G, Greenville

Ok I’ve been here many times now I’ve had their club sandwiches, their steak sandwiches, etc and it is delicious and so flavorable. The owners are extreme nice people and it makes me happy to say their food is yummy for the most part. The sandwiches and I have had several different sandwiches here are delicious! Great fresh bread, etc. The restaurant is clean and has a nice dine in area. The only weak spot is the average to below average side dishes. The sides like fried mushrooms, fries, etc all seem to be frozen stuff like ya get everywhere that doesn’t hand make their sides. Probably just bulk order frozen junk from restaurant depot or something. It isnt terrible but it is just the usual frozen crap for fries etc. Sandwiches are great, restaurant is clean and provides a lot of good seating, and owners are very polite and kind people who I hope succeed with this sandwich shop (despite my hatred for their side dishes)

St. Augie’s Pizza – Menu with Prices – 113 1/2 King St, St. Augustine

Best experience on this side of town. Owners/Operators are so amazing and will treat you like family. We brought some family from out of town and they loved the pizza. We ordered a couple pies including a Hawaiian and a supreme and wow were they amazing. This place is worth the trip wherever you are or wherever you are staying . There’s lots of pizza options and lots of good slices to grab in the old city but I promise you this is the best dining experience you will have. Very convenient location on the best side of king street and within walking distance of the old city. You can also park on their own lot and there’s plenty of parking. There’s a game table for kids and it’s nice and cool in there. Knots are on point and the marinara is perfect. Go here and do yourself a favor.

Skrimp Shack – Menu with Prices – 1249 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake

Sometimes you just get a craving for seafood. When that craving hit I took a look to see what was in the area and found Skrimp Shack. I’ll be honest I was a little turned off by the name of the restaurant. But the reviews were good so I decided to give it a try. First things first the service was top notch. We were greeted immediately and told someone would be right with us. We ate our food in the restaurant so someone brought it out and she was super friendly and all smiles. It made me excited about my food. I ordered the basket with whiting and shrimp. For the sides I got hushpuppies and cole slaw. The fish and shrimp were delicious and fried nicely. It only came with 4 shrimp and I could have used 4 more lol. I’m picky about hushpuppies and to me these were just ok. I like mine on the sweet side and these had more of a corn meal texture. The slaw wasn’t a hit for me either. It had a little too much pepper and it wasn’t really season to my liking. Next time, and there will be a next time, I’ll try some different sides. My boyfriend had the catfish and shrimp Po Boy and he couldn’t stop raving about it and honestly it looked really good. He devoured it along with the French fries he ordered. The inside of the restaurant is really cute. It’s got a red, grey, white, and black decor. Everything was really clean and again the service was great as I saw employees talk and greet other customers while we were sitting. All and all it’s a great seafood spot and we’ll be back to try something else on the menu next time.
