Wasnâ??t really hungry but I always eat something when Iâ??m at bar so ordered Texas wedge salad. Must say Best wedge ever had. Order these 5 Star steak houses expect it be perfect. This one Saturday killed every Steak house out there. Looked incredible n tasted incredible jus right amount of the good stuff on it. Thin slice apples was real plus an I will definitely be back for this salad soon. Bartender was very nice needs little more conservation like howâ??s your day going…. otherwise she was good. Good job guys. Look there is nice classy above all else around you. Attracts nice mature grown up guests which I love. Thanks again

Pho On California – Menu with Prices – 133 W California Blvd, Pasadena

I came here for dinner tonight around 7:30PM, and this place has only one customer. I ordered Pho #6, which is rare steak and cooked brisket pho for $10.95 before tax and tips. The condiment and the water came first. The condiment is on the mean side, with 2 pieces of chili, a small bunch of bean sprouts, a few basil leafs and a lemon lime wedge. The pho noodle soup came in about 3 mins later, and when I first taste the broth, it was way tangy, and I think they use excessive amount of tamarind. In addition, in total I was ablel to find 8 small pieces of thin slice beef (4 steak and 4 briskets) in it, which is a ripoff for the price they charge. They did provide me with enough rice noodle to fill my empty stomach, but the rice noodle could use a few more moments of cooking time as it is not soft enough. For the service side, it’s ok; but since the food is on the skimpy side, I won’t come back.

Rosalina’s Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 83 Hamilton St, Worcester

I have been wanting to try this restaurant when I heard it was credited by Phantom Gourmet. The experience was far from meeting expectations. It started from the first call. We placed a take out order and the woman was not very friendly who took our order. Then when we got home and saw the food – we were less than impressed. The chicken picatta which I ordered with gemelli pasta when I was asked linguini or gemelli was prepared with penne that tasted like it was out of a box. The chicken was overcooked, the breading was white and barely there, and there were only a few pieces. The spinach was also very sparse. The wedge salad we ordered was served on half a romain with a quarter of a tomato cut all different ways and then long strips of bacon. The dressing was way too much. It all looked like it was just thrown together. When Paying $18 for a chicken picatta and $8 for a wedge salad you expect better quality. Won’t be going back or recommending. Glad we just did take out rather than dining in.

Fat Boy’s Pizza – Menu with Prices – 2565 Metairie Rd, Metairie

OK this is tough one because I visited twice in 4 days. If I would have gave a review after Wednesday’s visit it would have def been 5 stars But after Saturday’s visit 3 is the max I can give. Consistency is the key to food in any restaurant. But there’s the catch….Wednesday my wife, son and daughter in law ordered a 18″ pep and cheese pizza. It’s was incredible, thin cheesy and had a fresh tomato and garlic sauce. The taste was so New York. So then we took our daughter after picking her up from the NOLA airport. We ordered the Big slices of pizza. The bill came out to be more than the 18″ pizza. My pep and cheese was the most tasteless pizza I have ever eaten. NO FLAVOR what so ever! Totally different than Wednesday! But Why?? I had no clue. I will becer eat to BIG slice again. There motto is true “Size Matters” My wife had the Fat Boy slice and it was average….Italian sausage or ground beef was very over cooked. My daughter had the Thin Boy and it was great. So I might try again but will stick to the 18″ pizza. Sometimes bigger is not always better. Wish we would have stuck to the 18″

Sushi House – Menu with Prices – 901 Sunrise Ave # A2, Roseville

Went to Sushi House for the first time for my lunch break and introduced by one of my coworkers, and I’m glad brought me here. It’s a little hidden inside a small plaza and there aren’t a lot of available seating so don’t expect to bring a big party. The service was quick and food came out fast and still tastes fresh and delicious. The sushi rolls we ordered had the right balance of rice and sauce and wasn’t too heavy. Just the perfect amount. The one thing I did notice about the sushi rolls was that the rice was very soft which made it even better. They also do have some rolls that are 50% off! The tonkatsu ramen was also good. I liked how the tonkatsu pieces they gave us were thick slices and not paper thin like most ramen houses. I’d say it was a successful first time there. Definitely recommend trying it out.

Saddle Ranch Chop House – Menu with Prices – 20 City Blvd W, Orange

1st time here, thought it was more fine dining but no it is casual, very open air, bar atmosphere with food on the upper scale. We were greeted immediately and had to wait a bit for a table as it was Saturday evening. Once we got a table, our server Jon Jon (not sure if that is correct spelling) arrived quickly to take drink orders, wine list not so great, drinks arrived and we ordered appetizers: onion rings and spinach artichoke dip. Both we excellent. I love the presentation of the onion rings. The onion rings had shaved Parmesan on top and came with 2 dipping sauces. One was like a spicy mayo and the other was like a sweet and spicy chili that really had a kick. I liked it. The onion rings were really good. The spinach artichoke dip was served in a bread bowl and it was huge. There were big chunks of artichoke and flavor was on point. Only issue, was a bit cool in the middle, but otherwise very good. I had a house salad, was very fresh, tasty, all good. My husband and son had the wedge salad, it was very large and looked delicious, no complaints from them. They had prime rib and I had the filet. They were happy with their food except my husband had veggies with his steak and they were cold. My filet was cooked perfectly and for once I didn’t have to add salt. The filet was perfectly seasoned, even had a bit of heat to it. It was great. I got creamed corn and tater tots with the meal. The corn was very good, not to sweet. The tater tots were way over cooked, hard and crunchy. However my son had tater tots with his meal and they were cooked properly and tasted great. They were topped with bacon and green onions, it was yummy. Overall, everyone was happy and very full. Very large portions here, so we took a lot home. Our server was so awesome, he really catered to us. My husband is a real stickler about service and he was really happy with Jon Jon.

Martin City Brewing Company Pizza & Taproom – Mission Farms – Menu with Prices – 4000 Indian Creek Pkwy, Overland Park

After an early football game at SMS we needed dinner so we popped into Martin City. They were packed at 6 and said it would be a thirty minute wait. We happily did so with beers in our hands. However that turned into a 45 minute wait. They were so apologetic though and that made it worth it. We sat outside and I recommend that weather permitting as it gets very loud and cramped inside. I went with the chicken pesto sandwich and it did not disappoint. The chicken is sliced thin and everything is toasted to perfection. I started with the Taste of Italy salad so I had no room for the potato chips but my daughters both loved them and took them home. Sounds like that happens a lot. The salad was one of the best I have had although a bit too much dressing so I would say ask for it on the side. My husband had the steak wrap and that was a show stopper. The tortilla is grilled crisp but I will say there is a lot of arugula so I would sub or avoid if you aren’t a fan. The service here is stellar. We were well taken care of and they were a packed house. My toddler thought her pizza was too hot so he offered to stick it in the fridge for us for a few minutes. He was so attentive to her and she was quite whiny that night. There is not a kids menu that I saw but you can build your own 8-inch for $8 base and add toppings for .$75. Prices are incredible for the area of town, especially the beer prices. Grab a t-shirt on your way in or out for only $15, super soft and fun designs. They also have a beer club you can join and get a 2 for 1 pass so be sure to get on their website and do that before you head out. Lots of other great perks.

Colorado’s Rib & Chop House – Menu with Prices – 5935 Dublin Blvd Suite 190, Colorado Springs

Yesterday I went to Rib & Chop for dinner. It’s very nice and swanky inside. Had high hopes. The girlfriend and I both each got an old fashioned. They were absolutely the worst old fashioneds either of us have ever had. We both get them just about everywhere we go, and we don’t mind at all when they’re different than a classic. But this one was so heavy on the angostura bitters that they overwhelmed everything else in the drink. There was no (or not enough) sugar in the drink either, which made the bitters even more prominent. Okay… no big deal. A sugar packet in each made them drinkable. May be a new bar tender… the Mule in our party was good… whatever. We moved on. Was excited for the steak. Got a Manhattan cut NY Strip. Ordered it medium rare, like always. I ordered it with salad (which was very good!) and asparagus. The steak came out, and she asked me to cut into it and see if it was cooked to my liking. It was basically raw on the inside. Pittsburgh style (seared heavy outside and blue -raw- inside). No sweat. High end steak-houses frequently cook a steak on the cooler end, have you cut in to see how it’s progressing, and then finish the steak. The fact that she asked me to cut into the steak in front of her to see how the steak looked to me… made me feel like they cared about whether or not it’s right for me. I never make a habit of sending a steak back. I order medium rare because I don’t mind a medium steak, or a medium rare one that’s on the rarer side. But this thing was literally cold in the middle. I said “this is a little rare for me, do you mind bringing it up to medium rare?” She looked at the ticket, then looked at the steak and said “well, this is medium rare… this is what you ordered” with a snarky attitude. I said “sorry, it’s just more rare than I’m used to.” With an attitude she whisked the plate off. While she was gone, I ate the asparagus. The bottom 1/4 of all of the asparagus was so woody that I literally could not bite through it. The top half was delicious though. Just poorly trimmed asparagus. Whatever. At this point I was over it. The same food runner came back in no more than 3 minutes and said “check it now”. Seriously. 3 minutes. That says one of 2 things. 1) they didn’t cook it enough… because a steak doesn’t come up 15-20 degrees from like this one needed in only 3 minutes in a pan, on a grill or in an oven… or 2) they microwaved it. I cut open the steak a second time… and the above picture is what I got. You tell me… after 2 rounds of cooking… if that is medium rare. With the attitude I had gotten beforehand from her… I just said “yeah, that’s fine.” I wasn’t in the mood to argue while all 3 of the people with me were already eating. I ate the steak. While eating the steak, I had 3 people come by and say “is everything alright? We heard you had a “sendback for an upcook””. It felt less like concern, and more like I was being questioned using restaurant lingo. By the 3rd person coming over and interrupting us, I was getting irritated. I don’t believe I’ve ever written a more critical review in my life. I can’t emphasize enough how I will not be going back to Rib & Chop.

Vincenzo’s Pizza – Menu with Prices – 168-19 Union Tpke, Flushing

Vincenzo’s Pizza is now one of my new favorites! Staff was awesome! Really friendly and friendly and kind. The food was incredible. I had a white slice and a buffalo chicken slice with a side of blue cheese. I’m a huge fan of white pizza and this place does it right! The subtle seasoning in it was perfect. The hot sauce and chicken in the buffalo chicken slice were also perfect. I like the chicken to be super tender and the sauce to be hot but not too peppery or too hot. Everything about this slice was amazing. Chicken fell apart and was super moist. Had just the right amount of the toppings, not way too much like some places do. Loved the food from here. Thanks guys!!

Thin Man Brewery – Menu with Prices – 492 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo

I’ve been to Thin Man once before for drinks and saw some of the food they served here and knew I needed to come back. I’m happy to say that both their beer and food are great! I came in a party of six on a Saturday around 9pm and were seated at a table just off the bar. Now, I have to say that I don’t like the acoustics in here, the ambiance is too loud. We did have a big party next to us but even after they left, it’s still very noisy and is hard to hear the wait staff and the people sitting across the table. I wish they would have seated us outside or up on the balcony, but I digress. As soon as we were seated, a pretty young waitress came over and took our drink orders. She was a bit soft-spoken but incredibly nice and attentive to our table. We did have trouble getting her when we were ready to cash out, but again, not a huge deal. As for the food, it is fairly standard bar fare, so there is something for everyone’s palette. So I’ve been her before and saw someone order the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich and thought it looked incredible. My order was the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich with fried chicken (they give you a choice of having your chicken fried or grilled, which is awesome!), with the standard side of their house-made BBQ chips. I thought the time from when we ordered to when our food arrived was very reasonable, maybe about 25 minutes for all six meals to come out at the same time. My sandwich was fantastic! The huge, thick piece of fried chicken was juicy, hot, and the breading provided a great crunchy texture. The Turano brioche bun was toasted but still soft and delicious. The amount of ranch dressing on top was perfect: it didn’t drench the chicken but was plentiful enough to soak into the bun and cover the top of the huge piece of chicken. The spinach, tomato, and onion were plentiful as well but the thick pieces of pork belly (or bacon) underneath the chicken elevated this sandwich. The pork belly was cooked perfectly, in my opinion, as it wasn’t crispy, but more chewy, playing off the crunchiness of the chicken. There also seemed to be a little seasoning on the pork belly itself but it wasn’t overpowering, just enough. The side of house-made BBQ chips were outstanding as well. A little more thick cut but still good and crunchy and were plenty flavorful with the BBQ seasoning. This meal was sized perfectly. I ate the sandwich and chips and felt perfectly satiated. Everyone else in the party were incredibly happy with their meals too. One person from our group upgraded to a side of french fries instead of the house-made chips and ultimately were disappointed. They felt the fries were a bit too salty, but they loved the burger they got. Also, I thought that prices for the beer and food was pretty reasonable. I’m very impressed with Thin Man. Not only are the drinks tasty, but their food is too! The only real gripe I have is that the inside is too loud, making it hard to have a conversation with people. If I could, I’d rate Thin Man a 3.5 out of 5, but I have no qualms rounding the score up to a 4. Keep pumping out tasty beer and a good, consistent food menu Thin Man Brewery!

Chicken Salad Chick – Menu with Prices – 2960 Shallowford Rd Suite 104B, Marietta

I’m so excited to have a chicken salad chick around the corner! I came out for the grand opening and was lucky enough to snag free chicken salad once a month for a year! I can’t wait to try new flavors. This location is pretty spacious inside and also has a large outdoor patio. The patio is partially covered and has ceiling fans. As we moved closer to the doors, they were passing out samples which I appreciated since I’d been in line for a few hours. I got a dill and cucumber sample and it definitely tasted like a pickle. Once inside, I ordered a scoop of the Fancy Nancy which has grapes, apples and pecans. I love fruit in my chicken salad and the addition of apples made this one standout. I also got a scoop of a new flavor with tarragon and dijon mustard. It tasted mostly like tarragon and I couldn’t taste the mustard at all. But I love tarragon so that didn’t bother me. I also tried the broccoli salad as my side. The broccoli was fresh and I enjoyed the real bacon bits. My trio also came with a mini buttercream cookie. Who doesn’t love something sweet at the end of your meal? I’ve heard great things about the grape salad and plan to try that at my next visit.

Virtues Menu with Prices 525 E Market St, Akron

Was at Akron City Hospital for an appointment in the afternoon. My hubby and I thought we would try Virtues since the receptionist at the dr. said it was good. Beautiful restaurant for being located in a hospital. Very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My hubby ordered a side salad and a cheeseburger. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich. My hubby loved the salad. Said the house dressing was excellent. I was going to take a picture of my hubby’s burger but it was half eaten before I could get my phone out. It looked amazing and my hubby said it was. Also said it was one of the best burgers he has had in awhile. Wish I could have said the same thing about my chicken sandwich, but it was real grizzely and like chewey. I couldn’t eat it. I told our server I wanted to try the pizza and she asked what was wrong with the sandwich, so I told her what I thought of it. It was removed from our bill and she brought me a personal pepperoni pizza. I absolutely loved the pizza. For me it had the perfect amount of cheese and the sauce was fresh and very good. It crust was nice and crisp. The pepperoni had the right amount of spice. Just an all over good pizza for me. (but next time I’m trying a cheeseburger). Have an appointment at the hospital next week in the am. Can’t wait to try the breakfast. Definitely going back.

Salvaggio’s Deli – Menu with Prices – 2609 Pearl St, Boulder

I ordered a sandwich and unfortunately it was a new gentleman who is very nice. He put a very thin slice of cheese on a half of the sandwich only! I asked for two types of peppers and I got one And I did not get the quarter slice of pizza I ordered. The gal on the phone offered me a sandwich. I told her I was just asking not to pay for a piece of cheese and if she would put a piece of cheese on. She again offered me a free sandwich. I thought that was very nice. When I got there, she accuse me of lying and said that there was no way anything off that sandwich is missing.
