Very good taste, portions, and service. We went around 6PM last Saturday. Parked on Colby about a block or so away. There were a few open tables and 1 or 2 booths. We were greeted and welcomed almost immediately. They have an extensive sushi menu, almost too many options. I had the spicy tuna roll and it was fresh and delicious. Service was timely and our server was attentive. The pricing was very reasonable around $8-$12 per roll. Our family of 4 spent around $45 for the meal plus a tip. Everyone was pleased with the entire experience and food, highly recommend. Note: we haven’t been to downtown Everett in a while. Much of the Hewitt corridor and most of the Colby strip have been cleaned up nicely by the City. Sidewalks are newer and clean with plantings and fancy garbage bins, ample free parking, thriving business everywhere, and even a beat cop or two walking the streets and talking to folks. There’s a really good vibe down there now, family friendly, we felt comfortable and safe walking around all over. Nice job Everett, at least its a positive start. We’ll return downtown in the future and spend more money.

Richard’s Place – Menu with Prices – 316 E Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala

We were downtown Ocala charging our car in the public garage and had planned to eat breakfast. Yelp found Richards Place only a block away. The parking is sparce on site but seating was ample once inside. The mom and pop vibe was obvious from the greeting at the door to the candy cane on the way out the door. I had pancakes which were large and tasty. Barb had eggs and toast and they came out to order and hot. Coffee was in a cup with ads on it. That was different but added to the community feel. Prices were fair and portions adequate. The service was excellent. Give this a try while in Ocalq but remember only open for breakfast and lunch. Lastly shout out to Ocala for free parking and free EV charging while we ate. We will be bqck.

Bizen Beer Bar Menu with Prices 155 W Center Street Promenade, Anaheim

So I discovered this bakery on Yelp while looking for a place to study about a month ago and have been back almost EVERY other day since! It’s safe to say this is my all-time favorite place to eat at the moment due to their delicious products, great atmosphere and convenient parking options. Their breads are baked using Hokkaido flour, and are constantly in rotation with a wide variety of options to choose from. My all-time favorites are their butter & salt roll, mentaiko french, oyaki kinpira and milk cream. I most recently also bought a loaf of their sliced breads to go and was impressed with the thick, fluffy toast I was able to enjoy the next morning from the comfort of my own home. As for drinks, I enjoy their hot lattes with whole milk and iced matcha lattes with whole milk. For the matcha latte, you have the option of ordering it sweetened or unsweetened but I usually get mine unsweetened. It is a great addition to the milk cream for a delicious mid-day treat! The shop is actually broken up into three different sections, including the bakery, the coffee shop and beer bar. The beer bar actually has its own “Bizen Beer” sign outside the door, but when you walk inside you will notice it has an open walkway that connects to the coffee shop and bakery. I love that there is ample seating in both the Bizen Bar as well as the outdoor deck they have right outside the shops. The deck has ample table seating and most of the tables are shaded by the umbrellas, making for a perfect day outside! There is free parking on the street lining the shops, as well as free 2-hour validated parking available in the lot behind the shop. Just show the cashier your parking ticket when you’re checking out and they’ll provide you with a single validation ticket. Be sure to keep track of the time because its very easy to get comfortable and spend the day here!

Emerald Island Casino – Menu with Prices – 120 Market St, Henderson

I love the food in the restaurant as far as gaming is concerned it was a lot better when I first started going there and if I didn’t like building up the points to get the free food well the food that’s free after I spend all my money I wouldn’t use my players card when I play because I I believe that they allow you to win and then catch you off if you’re not spending enough there’s people that are there that are there every day for hours and they’re the ones that always get called for the drawings in two and a half almost three years now I have never gotten called for one of their drawings where you get to spend the wheel and win money so and I’ve gambled anywhere from $20 a night to 2000 a night so I don’t know about that but the food is great when they get when they add on space so that wheelchairs have access to get through comfortably without getting cussed out by the other customers it’ll be even better

Miyako Sushi – Menu with Prices – 227 N 2nd St, Harrisburg

Overview: My favorite place to get sushi in the Harrisburg area! Food: Miyako’s menu consists of sushi, some stir-fry dishes, and noodle soups. I absolutely love their sushi, especially because you can get brown rice as an option. Their rolls have always been well-made, fresh, and very tasty! I also like that they don’t skimp on the fillings. I have also had their udon soup. It’s a lightly flavored broth that’s perfect on a cold day. Recommend: Spicy Salmon Roll Valentine Roll Atmosphere: Miyako is a smaller restaurant in downtown Harrisburg. Parking is street-only, which is a bit of a pain, but they do participate in door dash and have 15 minute free parking if you’re just picking up. Service: Service here is excellent. My co-workers and I order from Miyako regularly and even with larger orders, they have always been quick and accurate.

Ben’s Soft Pretzels – Menu with Prices – 5800 US Hwy 98 N, Lakeland

How Rude! I spend a lot of money at this location. So today I ran out of ice and just asked to fill my personal cup with a little bit of ice, (I don’t need much). Anyway, Randall want to charge me .50 cents for ice. So I decided no I wasn’t going to pay for ice. When they have an ice maker yes it cost to run that ice maker but please. So I went to Burger King got my ice for free. I work near by so as I am walking by he keeps looking at me so I look back…. NO, Randall I was not waiting for you to leave to get ice I got my small amount of ice for FREE! @ BURGER KING. No I don’t work for Wal-Mart I guess only Wal-Mart employees and the hair dressers in Wal-Mart can get FREE ice. Guess I need to get my pretzel fix else where to bad cause they are good.

Peixoto Coffee Roasters – Menu with Prices – 11 W Boston St Suit #6, Chandler

TL;DR: Playlist was fire 5/5. I normally don’t venture to coffee shops much but I decided to come out of my cage and check this place out. Low key coffee spot with a lot of seating and outlets available. I’m not a coffee aficionado but I enjoyed my latte and I really liked the atmosphere. It was a great environment to whip out a laptop and focus or relax. After about an hour I was doing just fine. The music selection was very fitting for a coffee shop. Lots of Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, and the greatest song of all time – Mr. Brightside – came on while I was there. Seemed like they had it on the same playlist I normally listen to. The pastries looked good, too, although I just had a cookie sandwich (buckeye cookie). They also had macarons, scones, and gelato. Parking is all street parking in the downtown Chandler area. There was a lot of construction going on when I went, so parking looked difficult, but I didn’t drive so I did not have to worry about it. However, it seemed like there was a lot available in the area. Besides, that’s just the price you pay to have a recently thriving downtown area with plentiful shops, restaurants, and cafes.

Toshi’s Teriyaki – Menu with Prices – 305 SE Everett Mall Way # 16, Everett

Go to Mill Creek instead! I’m a die hard Toshi’s fan and frequent the Mill Creek location regularly. This Everett location has nothing in common with it except the name. Even the menu is different. I am very disappointed with the sub par teriyaki I just had from this Everett location. The chicken was obviously in a warmer instead of cooked fresh; it wasn’t tender or juicy. I was shocked at how fast my food was ready, and I realized this is why. The rice was gummy and seemed like it had been sitting awhile too. The sauce tastes like it’s from a bottle, very syrupy. This is the kind of teriyaki that you get from any average strip mall or food court. But if you want really friggin good teriyaki made by a pro (Toshi himself), skip this one and go to Mill Creek. I was hoping the other locations were the same menu and the same recipes, even if Toshi isn’t the one cooking. But now that I know the name is just the name. Two stars for friendly service and a clean dining area.

Bowery Bagels – Menu with Prices – 310 NW Broadway, Portland

If I could make it a half star I would. Let’s just say that they get this star for being open early and promt service. My wife and I were walking back from an early morning errand and spotted this quaint bagel shop. We were excited. We grew up with NY style bagels and were so happy to find a bagel shop walking distance from us. We walked in and the ladies behind the counter quickly finished their conversation and waited on us. (note I did not say they greated us and we were the only cutomers there. )I place the order of 4 bagels and I noticed she did nto grab them from the bins in front of me. I paid and said thank you and left. I left feeling I had interrupted something. 1/2 star for service. The bagels: I am certain we were given day old bagles. There is no way they were fresh. Not just hard but dry. When we got home we gave them to our dog. This was about ayear ago. I’ve heard a lot about this place since and have thought about going back but I just don’t want to give them my money. I really feel that beacause we were judged by our apearance and given day old bagels. I hope the staff has improved since then.

Chic-A Sea Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 2702 Chestnut Ave, Newport News

I went to chic a sea on 25th and chestnut a couple of nights ago on the 26 day of july me my girlfriend and her daughter my girlfriend just got a new job a couple of weeks ago she was treating us to a meal she spent $31 and some change we waited about 15 minutes for our order to be completed some comstermers came in after us they placed a order also those same comstermers got their food first the chic a sea employees give them our order when my girlfriend confronted the employees they gave those same people are order and made our order again it took another 15 minutes my girlfriend ask could we have something extra for the wait for the employees said no and they would have to call the manager at the end the chic a sea employees gave us some free hushpuppys and one free drink after the other comstermers walks of with over $30 of free food and they didn’t spend no where near $30 that was they worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant I will never ever spend money at that chic a sea again and I will tell all my friends and family to never go to chic a sea again the service was so poor everyone makes mistakes but when the chic a sea employees made a mistake they didn’t correct it properly

Ernie’s Pool & Darts – Menu with Prices – 815 Forest Ave, Portland

This place, like others have said, is a hidden gem in the Portland area. It’s your basic dive bar with pool, darts, ping pong, cheap beer, and classic rock. There’s nothing fancy here, but you shouldn’t be coming here if you’re looking for fancy. This place excels well in what it tries to do. This place is full of great people. I had the chance to chat with Dona for awhile. Dona is an amazing bartender. She’s down-to-earth and truly makes this place a 5-star dive bar experience. She boasts some really cheap beer ($1.50 Busch drafts) and local craft options (Gritty’s and Geary’s for $3.50). There’s also some food (pizza, meatball sub, etc) available for purchase. And they have an old-school jukebox. Dona told me she does not plan to upgrade to TouchTones, because with the old-school jukebox, you get more plays for less money. It’s full of classic rock, with a couple random country and pop albums thrown in there. And even though it’s located on Forest Ave, parking was a breeze. We got a spot literally by the front door. It beats the downtown parking scene by far. Overall, this place is great for a chill night, especially if you want to avoid the madness downtown. If you like pool, darts, ping pong, cheap beer, and classic rock, look no further!

Citizen Soul Menu with Prices 60 S Main St, Alpharetta

This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Alpharetta. I love the vibe here. It’s fancy without feeling pretentious. The service is amazing and the food is two thumbs up. I have been here twice now, both times during the lunch hour. Both of my servers were on it–constantly refilling my water, willing to answer any questions I had, and bringing our food out almost immediately after we ordered. To all my Gluten-Free friends, this place has you covered. They have Gluten-Free fried chicken! Say What?! Yes, that was my reaction too! Since I was recently diagnosed with a Gluten Sensitivity, I thought that I was going to have to say goodbye to most fried foods, but not here! They also have a separate gluten-free fryer for their fries. I’m telling you guys that this place is a win-win. The fried chicken was a huge portion of tender, white meat. It honestly tasted like real fried chicken, if not better. I could not believe it was gluten-free! Their fries are house cut and crispy– just the way I like them. They are cooked in duck fat, which gives them a different taste than you’ve probably had before. Prior to becoming gluten free, I tried their house burger. This thing is fully loaded with ingredients and you will not leave hungry after eating this one. Now, I would just order a lettuce wrap instead of a bun when I order. My first visit here I also tried the pimento cheese fritters. These are a must order if you can consume gluten. They are so good! They have an impressive wine selection, so make sure you try a glass or two! I opted for the rose’ and it was so good. I do recommend using the Yelp app or calling to make reservations. The restaurant on the small side and can fill up quickly–better safe than sorry! Street parking is available all throughout downtown and there is also a parking deck near city hall (behind the restaurant).
