Awful, awful, awful food–seriously I didn’t think food could be this bad. What kind of establishment decides to serve a salad of jicama, corn, and black beans by coating everything in an unpalatable amount of cayenne and then dumping a heap of microwaved italian sausage on top?? The service was needlessly curt and indifferent to our satisfaction. Their TV was also out, so don’t rely on entertainment here either. The drinks were ok, so if you really just want to get hammered before your flight, maybe this is a fine place to do so.

O’Brien’s Bistro – Menu with Prices – 4350 Bayou Blvd, Pensacola

The outward appearance of this restaurant does not accuratly reflect whats inside. I thought this was a regular run of the mill place to get a quick bite after a long flight, but I was totally wrong. This is a fine dining establishment in every way shape and form. I was wearing shorts and a tshirt and felt under dressed. I sat outside since it was such a nice day out. My waitress brought out some water and some biscuits and butter. These.biscuits. I dont know What blend of herbs and spices they put into these things, but these biscuits! They are an experience in themselves, make sure to ask for them when you go. Aside from the biscuits, I had a salad which, you know, a salad is a salad. Dont get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with it, but at the end of the day a salad is still a salad. With such a wide array of options across the three menus (brunch, lunch, dinner) there is something for everyone, so stop by and checknit for yourself.

Ben’s Chili Bowl Menu with Prices 1 Aviation Cir, Arlington

The food at Ben’s Chili Bowl is ALWAYS good, be it at the downtown location or this one. Certainly 5 star. Yet customer service-wise? Oh please. If I don’t want chili on my food item, don’t look at me all funny, nor harass me either. Its really not all that serious. Unfortunately, this was the case prior to walking to my American Airlines terminal (Gate 39) prior to entering the TSA checkpoint. I had a 3+ hour late evening flight to Dallas, and I didn’t want to be bothered in having an episode of diarrhea in a cramped airplane bathroom. I didn’t want chili on my hot dog, so Mr. Cashier Guy gives me a hard time in not ordering a chili dog. WTF, man???? I dismiss the guy, noting that all I want is a Ben’s hot dog with mustard & onions. Mr. Cashier Guy sort of scoffs, and then blurts out “$7.21.” While he did offer a combo of fries with a soda, my bottle of Dasani water was just fine prior to the Dallas flight. Not only that, but I’m not about to give this guy the satisfaction of accepting his upsell. The cook that prepared my hot dog was cool, placing it on a long tray & just handing it to me at the bar area. Meanwhile, Mr. Cashier Guy is telling the next customers that arrive that “this establishment is Ben’s Chili Bowl, not Ben’s Hot Dog Bowl.” Again, WTF, man. I’ve had better customer service at a Nathan’s hot dog stand on Constitution Ave than at Reagan National airport. Consistently good product, yet suspect customer service.

Flight Deck Tap & Grill – Menu with Prices – 2929 California St Suite #1015, Omaha

Tried the flight deck for the first time tonight. The aviation theme is nicely done, not over done and annoying as some places – nice decor and a good menu. The flight deck serves burgers (or course) rice bowls, sandwiches and pizzas. I had the mushroom and onion burger which was a solid choice – good flavor and a good ratio of meat to bun. The have a special sauce that was delicious, and worth trying. We also ordered the onion rings; good color and flavor and jalapeño poppers that were really good. Prices are right where you would expect them to be and a good portion of food for your money. Everyone at our table didn’t have any complaints with the food and left pleasantly full.. The staff was good, timely and attentive. We had a small issue with our order, but it was resolved, the problem was communicated and promptly handled to complete satisfaction. So overall the customer service was good, could improve, but still better than many many other places. Overall I would definitely visit again, we are already planning to return and try the pizza – it looked good… The flight deck brings another good place to hang out in Omaha. TV are located on every wall so sports will be well represented – hello Husker Saturday’s

Fleamasters Fleamarket – Menu with Prices – 4135 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Fort Myers

Buyer beware. Their lighting is flourescent. When you get home and find what you bought doesnt actually match your hair and try to take it back..the owner is rude and tells you to hit the road. They dont stand behind their product, incompentant with color and desperate for money. They cover themselves with a no refund policy probably as this happens often. (Didnt expect them to reshelf but did rely on their salesperson and did expect minimally a close match which this was not)Mortified.Go to wigwam instead or make sure you pay with a credit card so you can dispute.

Torg Brewery – Menu with Prices – 8421 University Ave NE, Spring Lake Park

This brewery was boring. Nothing about it was exciting. Not the beers, which mostly ranged in the standard side of brews with nothing unique about them. The taproom hidden away in an office space felt awkward and out of place. While it offered comfortable space for the patrons and some free games like bags and foosball in the backroom, it’s not something I feel the need to come back to. The service was subpar at best. After I finished my flight which featured three dark beers on nitro and their red ale, none of which I recall the names of because they were that forgettable, I asked for a pint of a particular beer which the bartender said he was no longer pouring that night because the pouring was heavy on foam, which was fine. I asked for a sample of their altbier which I did not have in my initial flight and I did not enjoy it. The beer left a stale taste in my mouth. I went on to try their wild rice porter which was drinkable enough but before I ordered a pint of that the bartender decided to make a smart-ass comment that I had “tried almost everything on tap.” Does this guy seriously think that I was such a hassle and bother for asking for two samples after I had paid for their $10 flight of four? Somebody should explain to him the difference between asking for a sample before ordering and paying for a flight. It was a comment that was unnecessary and made me not want to return, which I have no problem in doing so when the beer is as mediocre as can get and the service borderlines rude.

Mac’s Speed Shop – Menu with Prices – 4126 Oleander Dr, Wilmington

I have been coming here since it opened in Wilmington. Loved the place and the food. The last three times I have been, all in the last 30 days, something has gone terribly wrong. The service is now awful, terrible. It is painfully slow. Good luck getting a server to come around. When they finally do they are completely indifferent. My last three visits the same thing has happened. The place is maybe 25% full, word must have gotten out about the decline. I get seated, I can’t get a server, server finally arrives after I complain, drink order is taken, server disappears, drinks come much later, food is ordered and again an unreasonable wait for the food to arrive. It is even more frustrating because I see managers floating around but they have no interest in helping. There is something going on here. My uneducated guess is a management change has happened or word is out the place isn’t going to make it. As for the food, I always get the beer can chicken. The pieces were always impressively large. The last three times the breast were tiny and they now have a wing attached. Obviously a different supplier. Why stick with something that was working great? The nachos we ordered came out without the cheese even melted. I will not be going to Mac’s again. Three strikes and you are out. What a waste. I feel bad for the owners but this place is over.

Las Delicias Patisserie – Menu with Prices – E 17th St & Union Square W, New York

Pick-up pastries at the 79th St. and Columbus Greenmarket on Sundays have been of high quality. You can taste the excellent ingredients. Scones and muffins are just right, not too sweet, and are redolent of butter. Gluten free rugelach are fair (on the ordinary rugelach metric, not just on the GF rugelach metric). We don’t love the croissants, but I think that may be partially a stylistic preference and partially a product of the humid weather conditions on the days of purchase. We are partial to very flaky, multilayered, shattered shards of buttery goodness exteriors, as found in well-made, French-style croissants, i.e. at Maison Kaiser. The ones at Las Delicias are breadier and denser, edging probably inadvertently towards the Italian cornetti end of the spectrum. (For anyone who might find this comparison meaningful, everything we’ve tried at Las Delicias reminds us of offerings from Bread Alone Bakery, with many of the same strengths and weaknesses.) Service is frankly pretty indifferent, but eh…. I guess as longtime New Yorkers, we’re indifferent to indifferent service. ? Prices are not unreasonable / unexpected for this quality of product: $3.50 for a scone (creme de cassis is fabulous), $3 for a muffin or croissant, around $7 for small tarts. They have a very nice, semi-extensive selection of gluten free products, including GF challah loaves. Not sure what kind of cross-contamination precautions they take for the very sensitive, but they are not, in our experience, served from the same case.

Hanshin Pocha USA í??ì? ?? – Menu with Prices – 3515 Mall Blvd NW, Duluth

I understand that different businesses make money indifferent ways. In some cases food has an up-charge because it is catering to the clientele and this is how the business stays profitable. I can tell that overhead is high because of what this business provides its clients. I gave 4 stars because we ordered a sausage plate and out came a pack of Bob Evans on a hot plate of bell peppers and onions for $19.99. Then I took away another star because I was charged $4 for 2 limes for my soju. Three star experience total for good atmosphere but felt like I got fleeced

Locos Grill & Pub Menu with Prices 290 Research Dr, Athens

Just wanted y’all to be aware that I and a group of friends have tried your restaurant twice now and the service we received was just awful!!!! Can’t express awful enough. Your managers are even rude. Got to be the worst ever. Will be sharing this on Facebook and Twitter. There is no excuse for this kind of service!!!!!

Smith+Canon Ice Cream co. – Menu with Prices – 2260 E Colfax Ave #102, Denver

We were leaving the rec center & wanted to grab a bite to eat. I looked over, & saw “ice cream co” on the window, which caught my eye as there is generally not a spot in Denver where I don’t know of an ice cream shop. I was intrigued! Of course we had to stop in… SOOOOO glad we did. It was a very small, but hipster, ambiance with the ice cream menu on one side & coffee menu on the other. There was one customer already there waiting on an ice cream soda, & Curt (the owner) greeted us with a smile & asked if it was our first time in. The customer kept raving on & on about how amazing everything was & how we needed to try the chupacabra ice cream soda. After he left, Curt pulled us all in & said he would let us sample the ice cream. Now, I was thinking he meant a couple popular flavors… no, he stood there while we got to sample EVERY single flavor (except the vanilla)- butterbrickle, peanut butter cup, chocolate, dew sabi, Thai tea, foxy brown (cinnamon cheesecake), & strawbenero. Each kept getting better than the next! When he pulled out the “Dew Sabi” (honeydew with wasabi) which I was hesitant to try, I was pleasantly surprised – it started out tasting like honeydew, then turned into the flavor that gave you that wasabi taste without the burn in your nasal passages before turning back into honeydew. Incredible! The Thai Tea ice cream was also delicious. I decided to follow the customer’s orders & try the chupacabra soda, which was just the right amount of chocolate with a small kick at the end. Curt is a genius! 5 stars for service, 5 stars for quality, 5 stars for taste, & 5 stars for value. Everything is homemade, yet the price is right in line with any other ice cream shop. Everyone go visit this place PRONTO!

Coffee Dose – Menu with Prices – 3035, 116 E 18th St, Costa Mesa

Came here on a whim with my best friend and my sister after seeing how hyped up it was on Instagram and we were frankly disappointed. The coffee shop was also a makeshift hair salon, where people could go in and get their hair done. We all ordered drinks. I ordered an iced chai latte with almond milk, my sister ordered an iced chai latte with whole milk, and my best friend ordered a cappuccino. After being there and hearing our names for the order, we grabbed our cups and took a sip. We couldn’t believe the disbelief of how disgusting our drinks were. Both chai teas tasted like Delsym, an orange cough syrup with cinnamon and the cappuccino tasted very sour. We weren’t too happy about the quality of the drinks after seeing how great the advertisements were on social media. After another sip, we decided we could no longer drink these drinks and went back to tell the baristas. Because it was our first time here and the taste was awful, I asked if we could swap them out with different drinks as the ones we ordered were not up to par. My friend and I both opted for a hot match a latte with almond milk and oat milk. My sister got a mocha. We were happy that they let us swap out the first drinks as they weren’t very good. The second round of drinks, tasted much better, but nothing too far from a 3/5. The aesthetic here is cute, I would rate it 4/5. However, their drinks are sub par, I dont think I will be coming back anytime soon as it was nothing special. Yes, the cups have some sassy sayings like “so fucking zen” or “anti-bitch serum,” but the drinks itself are not worth the price.

Too Doo Polaris Mall Entertainment Guide – Menu with Prices – 1900 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus

This is an outstanding tool for anyone in or near the Polaris Mall, looking for food, fun, live music or other entertainment. I highly recommend Too Doo Polaris Mall Entertainment Guide.
