I had a very unfortunate experience here. The female employee who helped us out sat atop the counter on her cellphone the duration of our entire interaction. She was impolite, we were not greeted when we came in, and in the middle of ordering she interrupted us to ask her coworker for the passcode to his phone so she could change the song playing. They started fussing over his phone and were intimate and physical to the point it made my entire group uncomfortable while we stood there waiting until they were finished reveling so we could continue ordering. Before they started making our drinks they had to spend some minutes finding a song to play on their phones. When our drinks were ready, we weren’t told or acknowledged they were just placed by the register next to the female employee’s legs since she was still sitting on the counter on her phone. To add to how this kind of customer service hurts a business – throughout all of this – there were multiple people who came in and waited to order and eventually walked out because they were ignored or uncomfortable. I understand this is a new location but experiences like this deter me, (and probably any other customers who are treated like that) from ever wanting to come back

Red Lobster – Menu with Prices – 1870 W Craig Rd, North Las Vegas

Absolute shoddy employees. I placed a phone order at 5.43pm, was told it would take 20-25 minutes to pickup. So I show up at 6:20pm and wait at the front of the To-Go counter. I was ignored for 5 minutes while 2 female employees behind the counter were trying to get someone else’s To-Go order right. They had some type of heating plate to keep orders warm as customers pick up, but they left so much food just sitting on the counter, that only 1 order was kept warm while the other 2 were left sitting cold! After standing there 15 minutes till 6:35pm, I was serviced and then told that my order “was placed, but then it was cancelled. We will start cooking it right away for you, as soon as the order is in.” I said, that’s unacceptable, I should have gotten a call or something, as you guys took my phone number when I placed the order, I can’t wait 30 minutes now with my hungry kids waiting in the car. She apologized and tried to offer my kids some juice or lemonade. Tried to take my order again but kept over-charging everything when I showed her the exact menu item and pointed at it. Fire grilled lobster /shrimp skewer/ salmon combo which was around $30. Then was told that they’re out of salmon! I asked her to substitute something for salmon in the combo that would come out around the same price, and she added rock lobster which raised my total by almost $40 more. THAT is not substituting. I told her she could have offered an extra shrimp skewer to replace the salmon that I would have paid for anyway. I’m a customer that’s already frustrated as it is, and you’re trying to UPSELL me at the last minute!!! It’s our first time going to Red Lobster, and also our LAST time. This transaction has ruined the experience for our family.

Talamo’s Pizza Menu with Prices 1195 Kenmore Blvd, Akron

This is the worst place I ever went! One of their employees stole my phone number from ordering pizza, and contacted me privately and ended up showing up to my old job! I had to get my phone number changed. I called the place and told the manager and got hung up on. Not to mention every time we would go there our order would be messed up in some way. They used to have super good food and great customer service but this last time has ruined it for me. If you are a younger lady picking up a pizza have someone else grab it for you if possible. When I proceeded to ask this person who they were, he told me he got my phone number from when I called in my food. He said he seen me walk up and thought I was attractive and decided to contact me. Not only was I uncomfortable, its completely unacceptable.

Scooter’s Coffee – Menu with Prices – 401 W O St, Lincoln

I don’t recommend this place! First, it took a few minutes for anyone to come up to the counter and help me because the 4 employees were just standing around behind the counter talking to each other about their personal lives. When someone did come up, she was very friendly. I ordered a very plain egg salad sandwich which I expected could be made right away and pretty quick too given that it is very simple and there were no other customers and the employees weren’t doing anything. But I was given a buzzer so I would be notified when the sandwich was ready. Unfortunately, the buzzer never went off so I just kept sitting there and sitting there. Until finally someone noticed me looking around wondering what was taking so long. Evidentially, my sandwich had been sitting in the window for me to take for a while. BAD idea to give a buzzer to the one and only customer you have! Wouldn’t it be smarter to give personalized service by remembering who I am and bringing it to me, especially since I’m 9 months pregnant and sitting right next to the food window? Do you really need that many employees with that few customers? Maybe if you had less, they would focus more on work and the customers than each other.

Hip Hop Fish & Chicken – Menu with Prices – 1350 Mahan Dr unit f, Tallahassee

I phoned up there today to pick up an order of chicken. They gave me a pick up number and told me it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I arrived at the drive thru 15 minutes after placing my order. When I drove up to the window, an employee was on the phone. A couple minutes later a second employee went behind the counter from the front. In another 2 minutes a 3rd employee was behind the counter. They were filling napkins, refilling the iced tea and lemonade dispensers, helping the 3 customers I saw inside. I sat at the drive thru window for 10 minutes without ANYONE coming over to open the window. I phoned them. I asked if my order was ready. She went over to the counter where my chicken has been sitting this whole time and said, “Yes, it was ready.” I told her that I was here and sitting at the window. We hung up. I waited 2 more minutes. So I sat at Hip Hop drive thru for 12 minutes with my order waiting on the counter, and no one came over to give me my order and take my money. All this after having phoned them 15 minutes before I got there. It was absolutely not busy. 3 customers. 2 cars in the parking lot. This was a bizarre, rude experience. TERRIBLE customer service. I work with the public and I will tell everyone I know, to steer clear of that place. What a awful way to treat your customers. It really is a shame because I like supporting local businesses. ?

Pockets Pool & Pub – Menu with Prices – 1062 S Wilmot Rd, Tucson

Pockets has some great employees, good food, and quality pool tables, but something I’ve noticed really bothers me. They have juke box music, and quite often if a pleasant classic rock song comes on, the bartender will boot the song. If an obnoxious rap “song” comes on, then they’ll be happy with it. Their juke box is up to $1 per song on many songs. A minority of songs might be only 50 cents. Either way, if I’ve paid to hear a song, you don’t just knock it off on a whim. Completely ridiculous.

Moe’s Hot Wings – Menu with Prices – 5910 Mt Moriah Rd, Memphis

I don’t know how the food was but the service sucks big time. When I walked in there was one female behind the counter and one on the outside, they were talking in their native language and never stopped the whole seven to eight minutes that I waited to be acknowledged. No hello, no welcome to Moe’s, no may I help you. The one on the outside started to the door once but the one behind the counter started talking again so she came back. Best I could tell she was not a customer nor did it seem to be an argument, just talk. They kept looking at their phones. The counter one looked over at me once while I was looking at the menu on the counter but never said a word to me. So after a few more minutes I left and I won’t be going back plus if I can help it neither will friends or family members.

Global Bistro – Menu with Prices – 4401 Village Dr, Fairfax

I went here the other day. It’s near my house so I was excited to try it out. Didn’t have a very good experience to say the least. A lot of text below, but to summarize; -Cheap tasting food, for an expensive price. -Employees have not been trained on grettng customers -Employees have also not been trained to change gloves or wash hands. -If you ask for fish, it’s probably raw -Go to sweet green or Cava instead When I went only one guy was behind the counter and two guys were on their phones sitting at one of the tables. The guy behind the counter just finished a transaction with a client and noticed us in line looking at the menu. He walked over but didn’t say anything and just stared at us. We told him we were still looking so he walked away and went on his phone. After we walked up to the counter again he put down his phone and put on an old glove he had been using since before he helped the customer before us, which is kind of gross. He asked what we wanted in a really low voice so he had to ask him to repeat himself over and over again and was sloent otherwise. The other person with me ordered fish but wasn’t told it was raw so the guy on his phone sitting at one of the tables got up to help us. He put on new gloves, but didn’t wash his hands. The first guy who used the old glove and also didn’t wash his hands reach in to several of the tubs to get our food without a spoon. He put the raw fish in her bowl and after we asked for the other option of wish, he pulled it out and threw it in the trash and replaced it with the second option. I asked for chicken, which is pre cooked. And kale as well as white rice and sweet sesame sauce. I used my discount I got in the mail to pay and it was STILL far to expensive for the amount of food I had in my bowl. (I’ll upload pictures of the food). The kale was very cheap and the rice tasted like microwave rice. The chicken was okay, and the sauce was great, but I didn’t finish the meal and neither did the person I was with even though we were both very hungry. He put the food in the trash and went to sweet green instead in Reston. I was much better and worth the drive.

Rickochet Billiards – Menu with Prices – 3900 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, Lafayette

Went there on a Friday nite. Very thin crowd, some of which were of questionable age. Beer selection very limited. Nothing on tap. No local beers which I found unusual given the current popularity of the micro breweries. Barmaids were apologetic for everything that seemed unpopular. My two friends and I got a pool table and were doing fine until the music started. While I’m not a fan of rap, I can usually tolerate it. Not this rap. Every song full of vulgarities. If one of the young female employees was my daughter I would not let her work in such a place. Also noticed a lot of staff and customer traffic in and out the back door. Made me wonder what was going on outside. Overall Rickochet’s was a terrible experience. I’ll never be guilty of visiting again. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

Cheese Board Bakery Menu with Prices 1504 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley

Today was not the first time I have been to Cheeseboard collective, however it certainly was one of the worst customer service experiences. I came in around 4pm (about 2 hours before closing on a Friday so things are winding down but the shop is still open), there was a crowd of customers so I picked up a card to get a place in line. There was at least 3-4 staff assisting customers with samples or cheese orders. As I was patiently waiting in front of the counter for my turn, I noticed one employee warpping up a transaction for a customer and washed his hands then left to the back of the bake shop to work on some task. Two of the employees at the counter were still busy addressing the customers needs and I continued to wait in front of the cheese counter in hopes to catch someone’s attention. Another female employee completed a transaction and just when it appeared she would be available, an elderly couple approached the counter and she proceeded to ask them what they would like. They had a long list of cheeses which ended up taking a while to complete. At this point I have been waiting for over 10 minutes and I have yet to be addressed whatsoever. By the time every single customer had been serviced, the staff had all proceeded to the back of the bakery to chat and continue daily prep tasks. I found this to be rude and inattentive for the Cheeseboard counter staff to not noticed me as I was standing directly in front of them this ENTIRE time with a card in hand. Ultimately one employee finally came up to ask what I would like and I told her what I wanted to order. Mind you, in previous times I have come here with my boyfriend and in the contrary, we waited at the counter without knowing their queue protocol. Until a staff had told us we need to get a card to be serviced. (despite waiting there before other customers who did get a card) If they are going to use the cards as a means to queue customers then they should stick to it. It would be great if customers be treated in a timely manner especially when there is a crowd with first come first serve basis. Perhaps they need to rethink their structure for how to set up the queue or retrain their employees with better customer service.

Krispy Kreme – Menu with Prices – 7930 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee

This review pertains only to the Irlo location. Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve experienced in a very long time. We stopped by around 9pm on a Thursday and attempted to order at the drive through. The order taker did not greet us – she just asked us to hold. After several minutes we asked if anyone was there. She came back and told us to place the order. We started ordering several donuts and were rudely interrupted with “we don’t have any of those, just glazed, sour cream, and lemon.” So, we changed the order but before we could finish, we were told we needed to pull around to the window. Sensing the lack of competence at the drive through, we decided to go inside. We found a long line at the counter and a rude female worker behind the counter. There were a couple of other workers standing around the conveyor belt chatting. When it was our turn to order, we were greeted with an angry “all we have is what’s in the counter.” No “hello”, no “can I help you,” just rudeness. Her words and actions showed her disdain for her customers and her job. She was awful. If you hate customers, you shouldn’t have a customer-facing position. Go in the back and make the donuts or something. If you hate your job, find something else – don’t take it out on families just trying to have an evening treat.

Blk Dot Coffee – Menu with Prices – 13786B Jamboree Rd, Irvine

10/10! Customer service here is what was beyond expectations! I went here with my friend and we were both wanting to try something new and we were set on trying the mint mojito. What seemed to be the owner was really kind and patient and kept reassuring us that if we did not like it– we would have another drink made for us, while most places say that they will remake it-this was so genuine! We tried our drinks as we were sitting outside the lovely environment and he stepped outside to ask us if we liked the drinks. We were too shy to say it wasn’t our favorite, and with our slight hesitancy he told us immediately with a smile that he’d make us the LVTM coffee with oat milk and we LOVED IT! Nothing was wrong with the mint mojito we just weren’t quite ready for the refreshing thrill of the mint :b He even followed up with asking if we liked our second drink and was expecting nothing but our satisfaction with our new drinks. I was so blown away by how patient they were with us on top of handling everyone else with kindness! I know that people would have easily brushed us off or not follow up if we liked the drinks or not. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of this person, but safe to say all the interactions with the employees were nice/pleasant! Definitely love the atmosphere, the welcoming environment, and the overall teamwork that I saw at this place. I hardly write reviews, and when I want to its because of a bad experience, but this was SOOO NICE! LIKE WOW! Not only is the coffee something that I crave ? but the people truly brightened my day! It was a lovely experience, it truly goes far when people are nice! ? ? So coffee was yummy and the people were so kind!!

Don Carter Lanes – Menu with Prices – 4007 E State St #2075, Rockford

Had the worst customer service experience here, ever. Though the manager handled it in a professional manner, I suggest the young workers here get some training on customer service skills or an attitude adjustment. I was with my family this evening and we purchased a Groupon deal and decided to use it this evening for a family night out. Prior to purchasing the Groupon, my husband called the bowling alley directly and asked them when we can use the Groupon. We were told on the phone that we can use it anytime, including weekends, just as long as there are open lanes. Now we were told on a Saturday night we couldn’t use it because they had a special going on. The young gal that explained it to us was rude til the end. I event felt belittled as a customer and a bit embarassed because I was with my young son. I stepped to the side and asked to speak to the manager, just to clarify some things since we were told one thing and now told differently when we arrived. We were waiting maybe close to 10 mins as a gentlemen worker there said he would ask the manager to come speak to us when she gets off the phone. Then I am unsure if we did something, but another young female worker at the counter disinfecting shoes looked at my family and said, “What do you guys want?” I told her we were waiting to speak to the manager and a gentlemen was going to get her for us. She began to tell us that there wasn’t a manager on site and she doesn’t know who he would be grabbing for us. Yet in a condescending tone, like we were idiots! I am not one to assume anything & have been here plenty of times, but this particular experience was uncecessary. We even told her that the guy told us she’s on the phone and would tell her to come talk to us when she’s done. Then she looks back and sees someone on the phone and says, “Well she’s on the phone, I don’t know if she’s the manager.” I don’t get it? Again, was that necessary? Finally, the manager came to clarify with us how the deal works and advised us if we wanted to use it on the weekend, when to. All I wanted was the clarification as the workers there aren’t all consistent in their answers, that’s it. Hopefully it was just a bad day for them. Though it’s still not an excuse for me. Lose the tude.
