So this is usually my go to spot. Food is good but over the last few weeks they have been really making me ready to cut them off. I paid $2 extra to have shrimp fried rice and this is what they gave me. What am I actually paying for? I called to place a $60 order a couple of weeks ago and the owner was blowing his breath like he was irritated with the number of combinations on the order, I cancelled it. $14 really? They are really changing

Connie 1 Reviews Even though Goegleins did a great job in catering my grand daughters wedding reception, they ‘cancelled’ that all out by sending me a substantial bill after I had paid for the catering services in full several weeks before the wedding reception. The accomplishment of having the whole wedding paid for was quite rewarding until I received another bill a week after the wedding reception. When I contacted Goegleins Catering about the situation, Greg Goeglein stated that they ‘forgot’ to add a charge and that it was ‘human error’. He was very rude, arrorgant and very condenscending with his ‘so called’ apology. Of course I paid the bill which by the way was MORE than a couple hundred dollars. Ally & Eloise Bakeshop – Menu with Prices – 5209 Forest Dr, Columbia

I cannot say enough good things about this place! My husband and I recently got married, and TWO days before the wedding the person making our cake cancelled! Although it was for personal reasons, it still was a major blow. I called everywhere, praying someone would be able to do it. I finally got a hold of the girls at Ally and Eloise. I told them my story and they did not hesitate to say they would do whatever they could to help!! I spoke to the owner who said they had three other weddings that weekend so delivering it at the time I would need it, would be hard… BUT.. they would make it and have it all ready to go for me to pick up! She was so sweet and helpful, a true god send. My father picked up the cake and some other desserts for our dessert table, the NEXT day! Everyone loved everything! My cake was stunning, no one would even believe how quickly this all happened! You will not be disappointed by this bakery! They truely are in the business to make peopleâ??s lives sweeter, they sure turned our day into a showstopper.

Touchdown wings – Menu with Prices – 2130 Redstone Rd SW SUITE J, Huntsville

This is the second negative experience I?ve had with Touchdown Wings by the south Huntsville Wal Mart. The first was due to the owner being rude directly to me by rolling her eyes and walking off when I asked her a question because she doesn?t speak English well enough to understand. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and give it a second go. Today, I called in an order and they told to be there in 30 min to pick it up. Which would have been halftime in the game so I thought, perfect! However when I got there to pick it up at the appointed time and asked why I had to wait, I was informed that they don?t start making the food until I arrive as a general rule. I told the girl at the register, ?if I had known that, I wouldn?t have called in at all. I would have just come in and order. I was trying to time the pickup for halftime.? She said, ?well, we don?t want your food getting soggy?. I said,?oh ok, the makes sense. But I wish I had known that before I called in and placed the order to be ready at this time.? She said under her breath sarcastically , ?now you know…? I said, ?I?m sorry what did you say?!? She repeated it. I said, ?yeah! Now I do know! I know to never come back here because you don?t know how to talk to your customers!? Then another employee named Madison gave me my food and I tried to gain a sympathetic ear about the other employee, and was told, ?all she said was,….now you know!? Then Madison rolled her eyes and walked away!!! I have never been treated this way at any place of business EVER! I am furious!! I will NEVER be back to touchdown wings again. There is nothing they can do at this point to make it right. There are many other wing restaurants in Huntsville that know how to treat their customers, I will go to them. Do not give your money to this place. Do not even step foot in the door! Awful experience! And the wings we?re mediocre.

Onelife Fitness – Tech Center – Menu with Prices – 651 Hogan Dr, Newport News

This an update of my initial review of Onelife Tech Center. I thank the representative from Onelife for responding back to me and making things happen. Mr. Trader immediately called me back with excuses; however, I did have my $50 returned. Initially, I thought something was suspicious when I received email confirmations of personal training appointments (I never made) being cancelled. I thought these folks were trying to build a case in saying I had used my 2 free (membership given) personal training sessions and was charging me $50 for a third session. I made only 2 personal training appointments, but I cancelled one in the required set guidelines. So, I still have 1 free personal training appointment left to use. So now, there is yet new drama. I joined on 08 Mar 2019 with a monthly price of 49.99- to be paid at the beginning of each month. So, the next payment would not be due until around the 1st week of April 2019. These folks sent me a bill today (21 March 2019) for this amount- 49.99. This is an unauthorized payment demand. I have been in touch with my bank to have them investigate and block payment of this request from Onelife. Before I called my bank, I called Onelife Tech Center today (21 March 2019) at around 0750 today(21 March 2019) to question this unauthorized transaction. Of course, the person I’m to talk with (Cory) was not in and would not be in until today at 0800am. Still not receiving a return call from Cory, I called Onelife Tech Center back today at 1135am to speak with Cory- of course he was unavailable (at lunch). This behavior shows Onelifes Tech Centers disdain it has for its customers. All this over me cancelling my personal training- within their set guidelines. I guess I will have to get a lawyer now. I’m happy I alerted my bank and they are involved. I hope this helps those looking for good and avoiding horrible gyms in the Newport News area.

KC Pretzel Boy’s – Menu with Prices – 9559 Nall Ave, Overland Park

My office has had pretzel boys in the past and everyone loved it. So when people found out that I was ordering the personalized letter pretzels for an upcoming party everyone was excited. Two weeks before the scheduled event I called pretzel boys and asked them about the order process. I was told that I only needed to give them 24 hours notice for the special order. I called them 28 hours in advance and was told that they could not have it ready in time. I explained that when I talked with them 2 weeks ago I was told that 24 hours notice was all they needed. What was confusing is the guy on the phone kept repeating, “yeah, we need to know 24 hours in advance.” Well, I’m giving you 28 hours in advance… he did not offer to let me talk with a manager or give any kind of apology for the “mix up”. BE WARNED: get your order in EARLY because “24 hours” in advance is NOT accurate.

Sono Care of East Texas – Menu with Prices – 322 E SE Loop 323 #110, Tyler

No impressed in the least. I was super excited to have my sonogram done and see my baby’s sweet face in detail. This is my third baby and I have had sonograms done in Grand Prairie for them and they were amazing! I expected somewhat of the same experience with sonocare and paid upfront several weeks in advance as they were offering a discount. When we arrived to the boutique we walked around and shopped a bit as we were early by about 20 minutes. The girl at the front desk of the store said they should be done soon, well we sat there a while and the sonographer was about 10+ min late getting to us. No apology, no greeting to make us feel welcome etc…the room wasn’t very nice or comfortable. The bed was like a hard cot which while being pregnant was a pain to have to sit/lay on. We started the session within a few minutes and she looked at the baby for all of 20 minutes probably. With only a portion of that being in HD/4D and she didn’t seem to determined to get me any good shots. The rest of the time she was trying to work the machine and then at the end ran out of paper to print the pics she did take. I was told to come back later for them but they called and said they would have to print them when they get more paper?! They had other people out waiting for their appt after me so I’m not sure how she did theirs without the paper! It was so loud we could here this obnoxious family in the waiting area just outside the door. Not peaceful at all. I guess with the discounted rate you get discounted crappy service. I will not go back, nor will I recommend friends to use them either. I would have much rather preferred to drive 2 hours again and pay much more for the service I got with my last two sonograms. They treated you like a queen, got great results and the bed was a real bed! I am so sad for the money I barely got any real shots of my baby girl they are all distorted looking because she was in such a hurry just to snap a few and get us gone. *so after multiple disappointments from this place, I did complain to the owner and was told the woman who did my first sonogram was just a fill in tech. Not what I paid for so kind of upsetting to be stuck with someone who wasn’t even the sonographer. They did offer to do another sonogram with the correct person if I was able to come back within the next 1-2 weeks for no extra charge. Although the place was still a bit unorganized to say the least.. the next time turned out a bit better and did get at least a couple of cute pics of my daughter. The “video” they give you isn’t really a video it’s just 1/2 second snippets you have to click on separately and not worth paying extra for. For the fact that she was nice and did get a few shots redone for me I’m changing my stars from 1 star to 3. They still have quite of bit of improvements to make here.

Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital – Menu with Prices – 100 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids

I wanted to email this information to Butterworth Hospital but they don’t offer an email address in there “contact us” page. On Monday, January 28th I was at home and was experiencing a stroke. I called 911 and the ambulance got me to the hospital as soon as they could. In the ER I was given a blood clot breaker drug and that worked very well. I went from my left side being totally parylized to only having a little numbness here and there. That was great! I’m very thankful for that. Within 30 hours I was able to leave. That was Tuesday at about 4:30pm. The nurse was very nice and set up a voucher for a taxi ride home. So I sat in the lobby near the entrance to wait for the cab. I sat next to a man who had been waiting for his cab since 1pm. He wasn’t very happy about that. When the ambulance took me to the hospital all I had on was my pants, shoes and a sweater. It was 10 below zero that day and very windy and very snowy. There where warnings that no one should be outside. I waited for the taxi (Metro Cab of Grand Rapids) until about 8pm and the other man was still waiting for his taxi. Then the women at the desk said to us that they were closing up and that in 2 hours when the valets left we would have to leave also. I asked them what we could do if the taxis didn’t come by then. They just said that they didn’t know but we would have to leave. There was no way that either of us would have been able to walk home without major frostbite and maybe death. I called a friend and thankfully he was home and said he could pick me up which he did. I right away called the cab company and cancelled the pickup so they wouldn’t make a trip to pick me up. About 20 minutes later on the way home I got a call from the taxi driver asking if I was ready. I told him that I had cancelled his pickup. I told him there was another man there that needed a ride. I hope the man got a ride home. I can understand that the cabs were all running late that night but the other man and I really doubted that they would pick us up in time. I really didn’t want to ask my friend to come out on such a terrible night but I was truly afraid for me life. How could a hospital say that they would make someone leave on a night like that? I’m only giving Butterworth hospital 3 stars mostly because of this. There were some other issue also that would take quite a bit more writing. I’m very thankful for being way better than when I got there and they are responsible for my recovery but they really need to go with a different cab company and have a different policy about making people have to leave. I truly hope they see this revue.

The Firmament – Menu with Prices – 5 Market Point Dr, Greenville

Well I am not sure how many stars to give since we didn’t actually see the concert. I bought tickets for a 7:00 show a week in advance. My husband and I printed off the tickets the day of, and the tickets still said show at 7, doors open at 6. So we ate early and took an Uber to the venue. We got there and nobody is in the parking lot or answering the doors. Finally a security guy opened the door and looked at us like we were crazy. Luckily the sushi place is in walking distance, so we called across the lot and called. They told me there was some mistake and the show is now only at 10. We already ate in preparation for a 7:00 show, so we only had the option of drinking for 3 hours at the sushi place until the show, which we decided was not a good idea. We were super disappointed. With fees and all, I paid about 43 bucks which was a total waste of money. Not a lot, but a waste. If I knew the show was only at 10, we absolutely would not have paid for an Uber to drop us at 7. So I would recommend you check and double check or even call before you end up like we did. The right thing to do is to email the customers who took the time to buy advance tickets and tell them that the show was cancelled.

Gus’s New York Pizza – Menu with Prices – 4312 W Cactus Rd, Glendale

They don’t deserve anything stars. I always thought the sauce on the pizza was too salty for one. But most importantly, the manager who called himself “pig” never paid my boyfriend his last two weeks pay. My boyfriend called the department of labor but the owner “Sam” avoided their calls. The last time my boyfriend tried to text “pig”, pig had threatened to have a girl file sexual harassment on my boyfriend. This is four or five weeks later now mind you. We have everything on record, just not worth paying a lawyer for a small claims case. I just want to make it known to the public that this type of abuse towards a human is wrong in so many levels. Who knows how many employees have been taken advantage of by these guys. To be honest, money can always be made but this kind of treatment whether former employee or not, is channel 5 news worthy by means of protesting against unlawful employers and protecting people who work hard for their money. At first I didn’t want to get involved but I know my rights as an American Citizen. Threatening my boyfriend to have a girl file sexual harassment suit on him was the wrong move guys. It’s not even about the money anymore.

Palmetto Olive Oil Co. – Menu with Prices – 2243 Augusta St, Greenville

Palmetto Olive Oil and Roots next door we’re hosting a event sale together a couple weeks ago. Great concept because as a plant addict I came for the plants yet wanted to check out what was going on next door. The place itself is beautiful. Large, shiny, silver canisters line the walls filled with olive oils and vinegars. We were quickly greeted and offered a small tray of bread to use to sample the goods. Every flavor was incredible! From classic to citrus to chocolate, the options are mind blowing. I didn’t know it was possible to create an oil and vinegar with these flavors. The event continued with the owner showcasing recipes like grilled cheese, bruschetta, and brownies cooked with blood orange olive oil, loved it! I picked up a jar of Peruvian lime olive oil and have cooked at home with it on fish and Brussels sprouts, it’s great! Be sure to ask the owner about her quality of olive oil. It’s amazing to learn about the grocery store items vs what you can get here. Can’t wait to get a vinegar next time!

Nine Medical Deli & Grill – Menu with Prices – 3241 Harden Street Extension, Columbia

I wish I could give less than one star to this place. The owner is so rude and nasty! I watched him scream at someone and called them stupid because a customer ordered her Greek salad with no cheese and they told her we don’t make it that way. I called my order in 40 mins early and it still wasn’t ready, when I was asked did I call my order in, I told them yes. The owner screamed at me and said well that is TOO BAD. I don’t care how good the food is, the customer service is AWFUL! Richland please bring better food spots with better customer service.

Pho Bac Noodle Palace – Menu with Prices – 1100 McHenry Ave, Modesto

I ordered food through GrubHub and called the restaurant to make sure my Mongolian beef was extra spicy. The lady that answered the phone couldn’t understand what I was calling about and after a few minutes of explaining it to her over and over she got it. Then not more than 10 minutes later the lady from the restaurant called back told me my food was ready but she was not giving it to the driver because she did not know how she was getting paid she said the driver didn’t pay her I didn’t pay her she wasn’t letting the food leave the restaurant so I called Grubhub back told them the situation they put me on hold called the restaurant to explain to the lady that GrubHub pays them the lady from Grubhub said that the restaurant understood the payment situation and my order was given to the driver and would be at my house within 10 to 15 minutes. Then within another 10 minutes I got a text and an email saying that my order was canceled so I called Grubhub back The lady that answered this time I explained to her what was going on she looked at the notes to confirm that the previous lady that help me from Grubhub talk to the restaurant and said my order was on its way so she called the restaurant back to find out what the deal was. After being placed on hold she came back on the line and told me that the restaurant canceled my order because she did not understand how she was getting paid so why would they make a deal with the food delivery service without fully understanding how they get compensated for their order.
