Not sure if ownership changed a few months back but things seem to be going downhill a bit. Sushi prepares are not on the balm with long waits for food to be set out. Ask them while they are talking or on their phones and they pretend to not understand English. On top of this they obviously have a chip on their shoulders and seem to dislike their customers. Other places out there! 08/19 last time for this place. It’s a shame. Must be new management or ownership. It is going downhill fast. The guys that are making the sushi suck. Nothing is ever available, and when you ask them for something they just stare at you blankly as if they don’t understand. I told the manager, and he too didn’t respond very quickly just asked the sushi boy to make me what I had requested. It’s a shame, because it was the same place. I predict it will be closed within a year.

Little Tokyo Sushi & Grill Menu with Prices 5815 Windward Pkwy #209, Alpharetta

I would not eat here. I have been a frequent customer of this sushi restaurant for the past 5 to 6 years. I used to come here for lunch 2-3 times a week, and sometimes for dinner. It was our “go to” sushi restaurant. The place changed ownership about a year or so ago, and it has slowly, but steadily deteriorated. The food and service under the old management was fantastic (especially the sushi), and I used to often refer friends and family to this restaurant. The sushi was always fresh, tasty, and creatively prepared. We never had a service issue. Today, three of us were seated with just one menu. We waited 15 minutes for our waitress to greet us (the owner had only 2 waitresses serving the entire dining room), so as such, I had to get up from the table and ask for 2 more menus before she arrived. Once we ordered, it took 45 minutes for us to get our salads, and we had to ask for the salads after asking twice before “where’s our food?” It wasn’t hard to see that our waitress completely forgot about our salads. Then she served our salads at the same time as our food. When our food arrived, the food that was served was not at all what we ordered. We told the waitress this when she served it. She said she’d go and check, but she never came back for the rest of the meal. As such, we were left to eat what was served to us or we wouldn’t have eaten at all. Second, the sushi was neither fresh, nor creative, nor prepared the same way it has always been with the identical menu ingredients, notwithstanding that the menu under the new ownership is identical to the menu under the old ownership. Bottom line, the sushi was bland to nasty (some of it soggy). We never received napkins nor chopsticks nor soy sauce bowls (I had to go fetch all of those myself off of empty tables), and we had to flag another server down to get our water glasses refilled. We waited for 15 minutes after eating to ask for our check, but the waitress never came back. We then walked up to the counter and waited another good 15 minutes for someone to show up so we could pay our bill. Finally the owner showed up. I shared with her our experience, and she couldn’t care less. She wrote it off to “yes, we were busy.” Then she surprisingly said to us, “if you don’t like it you don’t have to come back.” I guess the new owner completely misunderstands what it is to run a hospitality type business. It’s a real shame because I used to love coming to this restaurant, but I will not be back. If you know of any great sushi places in the area, please drop a post. Thanks.

Subway Restaurants – Menu with Prices – 5744 1/2 W Little York Rd St, Houston

I enjoy going to this subway! I visit this location very often being that I work relatively close! Iâ??ve never had any problems with the ladies or in general before today!! Today Ruben had the pleasure of being my sandwich artist!! He came from the back I asked him what was the sub of the day he nonchalantly responded turkey. I proceeded to the restroom to wash my hands when I came back ready to go Ruben approached the line and began making my sandwich as I told him what I wanted on there he just blankly stared at me for a moment as if I was asking too much!! I asked him to put the turkey meat bell pepper on top then my cheese of choice before toasting! Finally after repeating it 2/3 times to make him move since he was just starring at me we got that done he put the sandwich in the toaster once it was done and he took it out I asked him to change his gloves before putting any vegetables or anything else on my sandwich Ruben stopped and looked at me in dismay that I would ask such a task and he then said very rudely ,â?I just changed my glovesâ? I asked him again to change his gloves after giving me that stare again he decided to just change his gloves!! To add insult to injury he is sneezing up the place and coughing EVERYWHERE!!! I am beyond disappointed with the service of this subway location today, he ladies are always so nice and pleasant and do not changing gloves or preparing your food the way you ask!!! Then there is Ruben, the rude one who is just here to get his hours and could care less about providing customer service!!!

Sushi One Spot – Menu with Prices – 10990 Foothill Blvd #110, Rancho Cucamonga

My best friends and I actually had our very first Racist encounter here! A man from the table next to us had kids and my best friend had a her kid, and i guess her kid took a flower from the mans little girl. So he then got up and started yelling and scolding my friends 4 year old. we got upset becaise we told him that if their is a issue with her child that he should address her and not the kid. So he said ” Okay, I will!” he then came over to our table and started saying things like ” you f****ing Mexicans! why dont you go back to where you came from!!? you are all good for nothing! nothing but cleaning and washing dishes! go back to your country! can you believe it? this man yelling racial slurs and telling us to go back to our country happems to be asian? i told him “go back to OUR country? im going to take a wild guess and say youre not from here either! well and even if you are im pretty sure your ancestors are not! if i am a minority so are you!!” he then has the nerve to sit at our table, and continue to harrass us. The sad thing is that the entire staff saw and heard what was happening and no one stepped up to at least ask if we were okay? or say “sir, this is a family restaurant” NOTHING!! they would walk by amd stare and then walk away!! completely aware! this man was raising his voice, just making a complete full of himself! other patrons were also aware of what was happening, and nothing. As he sat at our table as we were trying to pack up our food and go, and kept saying “yea put all your food away, thats all you mexicans are good for! cleaning. NOTHING ELSE!!” and then this poor bus boy comes over and of course he was of latin descent and he points over at him and says “see!?” very dissapointing! His wife was mortified and started packing up tp leave the restaurant so they left before us and then a guest at the next table behind us comes over and says “im sorry you guys had to deal with that” all I could say was “yea, real sorry. no one stepped up to even tell him to lower his voice” and we left!

Yellowfinn Grill & Sushi Bar – Menu with Prices – 1166 E 2100 S, Salt Lake City

I work in the service industry as a server and bartender so I understand how crazy working in a restaurant can be. I won?t be coming back to this establishment anytime soon. My boyfriend and I came in on a Sunday night and after ordering our 4 rolls, we waited 35 minutes for the first roll. It was good sushi but other tables were being serviced before our two top. It took another 10 minutes for us to see the second roll. Maybe don?t come in on a Sunday night? The sushi chefs were more interested in telling their life stories to the patrons at the sushi bar rather than making the sushi rolls. The server also defined the term ?bare minimum? in my mind. Never told us what was going on or explained why the wait was so long. We came in at 5pm on a Sunday night. The sushi was delicious, but served one roll at a time and in 5+ minute intervals.

Jasmin & Olivz Mediterranean – Menu with Prices – 2501 Blue Ridge Rd G 190, Raleigh

Wow, never coming back and telling all my friends the same! Ordered a falafel panini and lady started making a spicy chicken panini….. no biggie, just went with it. She asked me what side I wanted…I asked if it came with a side …. she said no but would give me one anyway, which I was kinda stoked about . Got to the register and told guy what I had. He asked what side I had … told him hummus but not to charge me as it was given. He looked at me cockeyed and rang it up with the side. I reminded him that side was given to just ask her as she was right there…. HE did and she said NO, lol……. waaaaaat? Ok, no biggie…… then this young SUPER PUNK KID grabs the box and boisterously says WE DONT GIVE ANYTHING AWAY FOR FREE! Told him to keep the side (was ready to dive over the counter at this point!) HE took my sandwich out with his Bare hands , put it in a box . I was sure to tell that jackass that I have been a Chef for longer than he was alive!!!! Which is true…. for a restaurant that does 6.5 million in sales a year. Was starving and at a hotel on Sunday with limited options, no car ….ect. FYI…… Panini SUCKED!!!!!! Too bad u can’t give negative starz

Makisu sushi – Menu with Prices – 2338 Fair Oaks Blvd, Sacramento

Welcome to the neighborhood guys! This place has actually opened back up and is under new ownership. I talked to the server alittle and everyone here was very nice and helpfull! I’m so excited to have another sushi bar in the arden area. There’s always room for more sushi nowmatter where I am! Now on with the food! I did end up ordering a phillidepha roll and a Roseville roll. Both of them had wonderful flavor and were delicious. The one thing that fought my eye and stood out was the Kochi tiramisu though. I really couldn’t wait to try this, so I rushed through my meal and placed an order for it it was actually so creamy and so delicious. It wasn’t overly sweet like some places are and it really did satisfy my craving. They did have 50% off of rolls and a lunch special. I saw a nice selection of beer and soke in the cooler, so I will be back after hours to try it. Once again, welcome to the neighborhood and congratulations on the new resturant guys! Your server is doing a great job by the way! I’ll deffimatly be back for seconds ! And thirds!

Tibet Bowl & Sushi – Menu with Prices – 50 Main St, Salt Lake City

Sad to say this place is pretty terrible, i love nepalese food especially momo, unfortunately every component of the momo was bad, the dumpling shell was too thick and bread-y tasting, the meat filling had an offputting old tinge taste to it, and the sauce although it smelled excellent didnt have much flavor to it at all and was kinda creamy like tikka masala sauce or something, i didnt try the sushi but that should have been the red flag from the get go, sushi and nepalese food do not go together just like sushi and chinese food dont go together how do people not understand this!!!

Fill Your Belly Deli – Menu with Prices – 282 Manor Rd, Staten Island

I was on military duties( dressed in uniform) going in for breakfast the guys made a mistake and gave someone else my sandwich and gave me his. I went back after seeing he made a mistake to get it fix. He seem annoyed. I told him what i had asked for , he said ok. Now I payed $5:25 for a bagel beef sandwich. He gave me a deef patty with no bagel . I asked wheres the bagel. He then put the beef patty on the bagel with egg that I brought back. I told him I dont eat eggs thats why I walked back to fix it. Dude started mouthing off “I dont have anymore bagels,” you change your order too much.” Went in the cash register pull the money and slap it on the counter.” ( disrespectful customer service to the ppl who support their business) if your military do not buy there. He has no respect for us who over pay for there meals.

New Deal Fish Market – Menu with Prices – 622 Cambridge St, Cambridge

Went here for the first time to get some sushi-grade fish so my wife and I could try making sushi. In the same boat? This is your place. The fish selection is small but good (although I felt the tuna we got wasn’t really a good choice for sushi). It’s slightly larger than your grocery store fish counter, and all of the fish looks great. The store also carries pretty much everything you need for sushi making: rice, nori, sesame, even fresh ingredients like ginger. I was impressed with how much stuff they had for sushi making here, and I expect us to come back soon. The only thing I wish is that they had more traditional sushi fish like eel and other kinds of tuna. On the other hand, they have some fish I’ve never heard of and would love to try. Recommended

Baba’s Steak And lemonade – Menu with Prices – 3205 E State Blvd, Fort Wayne

So the employees of this place treat their customers like s***. Majority of the customers wouldnâ??t know this as they donâ??t understand the language these people speak. My husband and I speak the same language as one of their employees who didnâ??t know the fact. We had placed an order on the phone which they hadnâ??t received. There are two restaurants with the same name in the area and we happened to place the order at the other one. So this guy calls this other place which is probably owned by the same person. So he calls there, tells them that the customer they were expecting is here, using extremely filthy language, using swear words in their language for god knows why. My husband Starts talking to him in his language and asks about swearing and all, this guy starts tripping and lying n all. So just fyi, these people may smile in your face and greet, they are still making fun of you, cursing and commenting on you either behind your back or right in your face in their language. SHAME on the management team and the ownership who let this happen.

Maki of Japan Menu with Prices 6000 Glades Rd # 1162A, Boca Raton

Not a cold, fresh from the fridge one. And cashier guy is on his phone IN FRONT while waiting for customers

KAPPO IRIFUNE – Menu with Prices – 1231 Cabrillo Ave #107, Torrance

This was the worst dining experience of the year. I was quite excited to have a family reunion here after reading many positives reviews. However, this restaurant came nowhere close to meeting my expectations. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived. The server seated us inside a private room. The first red flag came up when I asked the server for recommendations. She responded, “I actually don’t know the menu well but I can go ask for you.” So my family just ordered on a whim. The appetizers came out about 30 minutes later. While I thought the food took a little longer, everything was ‘alright’ until then, even though the servers never checked up on us or refilled our water/drinks. We had to wait about 20 minutes more for our sushi. When the food finally came out, we found out that each order of sushi–$4 to $8 each–was only one piece. Honestly, I have never seen this system before besides for more expensive sushi like toro, bluefin, etc. We were pretty unhappy knowing that it would take some time for us to order and receive more food. It had already been almost an hour; sushi does not generally take this long to prepare even more so when the restaraunt is empty. Since the food was not enough to feed us, we decided to order another round of sushi with some rolls and udons. The sushi came out after another 45 mins. However, the udons and rolls were missing. By the time we were finishing up with the second round of sushi, we decided to leave and asked the server to cancel our food. The server told us that the rolls are prepared and coming out but that she would cancel the udons since they have not started preparing them yet. I was baffled at this point. Seriously, what were you guys doing for almost an hour? To top things off, it took another twenty minutes to bring our bill, which we had to initiate. The bill was wrong; they did not charge us for the sushi. I honestly wanted to just pay and leave at this point but told the server that they had undercharged us. It took the server another twenty minutes to fix our bill, which costed $200 more than the first. I did not enjoy my experience at Kappo Irifune, which lasted about two hours. The food was average and the server checked up on us only once during the entire meal. We literally had to walk outside the room to ask the server for anything. Please spend your precious money and time elsewhere. I will never be coming back.
