My fiancé and I had a lunch date here. We had been eating pretty bad the past few lunches so we thought we would try out these vegan spot as vegan good never leaves us gross. Yes, we aren’t vegan, but we love all food including vegan food! The restaurant is pretty spacious, clean, and bright. We ordered onion pancake, pad thai, and salt and pepper tofu to share between the two of us. The onion pancake was served with a sweet and savory sauce, which was pretty good. The pad thai noodle was a little different from what I am used to, but we enjoyed it a lot. It has more acidity instead of being sweet, and the sauce is more thin than thick and sticky. Included in the pad thai is vegan shrimp, which I enjoyed. The salt and pepper tofu was perfectly fried. It was a little more on the salty side, so having the acidity from the pad thai gave a good balance to our meal. The staff here are very sweet and helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch here and we want to come here again! Enjoy.

Thai Kitchen Temecula – Menu with Prices – 27520 Ynez Rd STE C1, Temecula

BEST THAI RESTAURANT EVER. NOT GOING ANYWHERE ELSE FOR THAI FOOD OTHER THAN THIS PLACE! Food was excellent and service was superb! We had the Thai Iced Tea, Crab Fried Rice, Tofu Yellow Curry, Thai Royal Noodles, Tom Kha, Chicken Teriyaki and Mango Sticky Rice! Everything was delicious and Thai Iced Tea was buy one get one free! You can ask them to make your thai iced tea less sweet if you want to btw. My favorite would be the Tom Kha, it’s the best I’ve had. The perfect balance between, sweet, sour, spicy, salty and creamy. My next favorite would be the crab fried rice. No words for it, it’s that good. The yellow curry is absolutely perfect with rice, whether it’s white or brown. Lastly, the Mango Sticky rice was the perfect way to end dinner if you want something not too sweet. I may be saying perfect too much throughout this review but it is what it is and you won’t regret dining/eating here. 100% will recommend to anyone even if you haven’t had thai food.

JT Cajun Seafood & Wings – Menu with Prices – 480 W Interstate 30, Garland

Wow, just wow. I first went through the drive through to order food but got super overwhelmed with all the menu options lol I wanted to know the difference in the salt and pepper wings vs the regular . I was told they had pictures inside if I wanted to see what it looked like so I took the advice and got off. They literally have a WHOLE wall with pictures of all the dishes they serve! Amazingly helpful! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable on the food . I ordered the salt and pepper chicken, fried fish and shrimp and 3 whole wings with fried rice. Everything was HOT and FRESH, and tasted so good! The salt and pepper chicken really has a nice twist to it with the onion , jalapeños, and chili pepper sprinkles! The fish and shrimp were batter perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. The fries have a tasty seasoning on them as well. The wings were also seasoned just right and fried to perfection. I didn’t mind waiting the extra minutes to assure that. I highly recommended this place to anyone in this area! GREAT JOB JT’s! I wish I lived closer, but definitely would drive 45 minutes to come back!

Sushi In Joy Menu with Prices 2618 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue

Stopped in for lunch. There was just the one server, overwhelmed and unable to spare much time. I ordered the lunch bento box with chicken katsu and tempura. It’s supposed to come with miso but it that never happened. The bento box arrived looking great but looks are deceiving. There was a large mixed green salad included, a large pool of water at the base of the bowl suggested the leaves had been washed but not dried. Wet salad tends to taste like just leaves, as the dressing washes away. The sauce included with the chicken katsu was reddish and very sweet. Never had that served at a Japanese restaurant before. The katsu itself was really all panko. The chicken had been pounded so thin it comprised just a narrow layer within the crust. Then there’s the tempura. Normally, a bowl of dashi, mirin and soy accompanies the dish for dipping the tempura. This was not included. The tempura veggies were fine but the two pieces of shrimp were not shrimp so much as a trick of the eye. The meat of the shrimp had been surgically removed leaving the tail and a long thin thin slice that had been battered and fried. It contained a suggestion of shrimp but was really just a batter stick. When I finally got the waiter’s attention I asked about the miso and he told me they were out so he’d made the salad extra large. Apparently there had been no time available to let me know in advance. I told him about the lack of a dipping sauce, the weirdness of the katsu sauce and the ridiculously thin shrimp. He apologized and then produced the bill.

Thai Love NY – Menu with Prices – 2822 Lemoyne Ave, Syracuse

My idea of good Thai food in Syracuse was Lemongrass in Armory Square, but when I heard about Thai Love NY for vegan options, I had to give it a shot. The reviews are great and well deserved at a fraction of the cost of Lemongrass. Great service and great prices, too.We ordered 3 apps: Tofu Satay, Tofu Tod (deep fried tofu), and Tom Kha soup. All were delicious and made vegan. We ordered 4 entrees: Pad Thai, Pad See Eiw, Pad Khee Mao, and Gang Dang Curry. All were delicious and were made vegan. They have 5 levels of spice, with 5 being Atomic. Three of our entrees were at a level 4 (which was the right choice for us), and the fourth one was at a level 5. I highly suggest not going higher than 4, but if you like it hot, they’ll provide hot chili oil for self-adjustment.

Hot Basil Thai Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 7528 W 119th St, Overland Park

My coworker friends were raving about this place so much and that we decided to go for a Saturday lunch so I could see what the hype was. I liked the interior when walking in and how the place had another room within another room. I was greeted upon entering and found my friends very easily in this place. They had already ordered crab rangoons and hot basil wings for appetizers. Let me just say… WOW. I think their appetizers are the winners for their menu. I’m not usually impressed by crab rangoons and I can only think of three places, including Hot Basil, that has amazed me on their crab rangoons. Their crab rangoons does not leave that greasy oil on your fingers. They are wrapped in a thin wonton skin that is perfectly deep fried. The wings were pretty incredible too. I could prolly order only appetizers next time and be very happy. I couldn’t limit myself to ordering one meal so I ordered two meals lol. I got the gapow with ground chicken and the basil fried rice with tofu and mixed veggies. I decided to get both with mild sauce cause I didn’t want to scare my tastebuds. The gapow was very delicious! Very flavorful and not too much sauce. I like my meals with minimal sauce usually so that it’s not so salty. The basil fried rice had enough flavor that I would switch back and forth from eating my gapow to basil fried rice. Currently, it’s been like one hour since I left this place and I’m not feeling tremendously thirsty so I like that for their salt usage. I did drink the entire glass of water though during lunch. But my body is pretty sensitive to salt intake of my food. I mean I feel some thirst but it’s not enough for me to feel bothered. I would say this is a decent Thai food restaurant to try and if you live nearby, then it can be your to-go Thai place.

Sen Yai Sen Lek Thai – Menu with Prices – 2422 Central Ave NE, Minneapolis

I’ve visited this place several times; love the atmosphere and friendly service. Great place to enjoy some Thai food while hanging out with friends. Food(***): the menu has pretty much all typical Thai dishes besides additional options for vegetarians and gluten-free. +Thai ice tea is a Must with a nice ratio between milk and tea. +For an appetizer, I ordered Taohoo Tod: the tofu was crunchy and fresh, which is a big plus. Though the dipping sauce is a bit much of vinegar on the first bite. +For the main dish, I got Laab with chopped pork. All the Thai flavors (spicy, sour, and sweet) were there. The pork was nice with some fat mixed with fresh purple and green onion and lemongrass. I just wish it has a little less of the sauce at the bottom so the overall taste stays more consistent. +A perfect way to finish a Thai meal is having Khao Neow Mamuang (sweet sticky rice with mango); their sticky rice was good though the mango could be a bit riper. Service(****): Their service is very good: extremely friendly and fast. The food came out within 15 minutes on a Saturday night. Atmosphere(***): Pictures and interior paint made me feel like I am back in an Asian country. Though the fish deco hanging on the wall doesn’t fit within the Thai theme. Nice open bar and big opening window at the entrance.

A Taste of Thai Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 915 W Moana Ln, Reno

Though I knew of its longtime existence on South Lakeside, for some reason I’d never visited A Taste of Thai. With its recent move to a West Moana location, I figured it was high time I rounded up the ladies–and my favorite young foodie twins–to check it out. Fusion ($17) is an appetizer sampler of five favorites, served with cucumber salad, peanut sauce, and sweet and sour sauce. The salad was a good mix of cucumber, celery, and purple onion, dressed with seasoned rice vinegar and herbs; the small serving left us wanting more. The bright red sweet and sour was pretty standard, but the spicy peanut sauce was exceptional. Marinated skewers of chicken satay were lightly grilled, with a texture much softer than expected. Perhaps the marinade worked overtime. Gari paab is reminiscent of empanada, a deep-fried wrapper filled with mashed potato, onion, and curry powder. Cruncy, a little sweet, and really good with the peanut sauce. Two of each item were included, save for a khanom bueang that overtook one corner of the plate. This crispy crepe made with rice and mung bean flour was filled with shrimp, chicken, coconut, tofu, bean sprout, scallion, and ground peanut. Sort of a large, delicious Thai taco. Deep-fried spring rolls of noodles, cabbage, celery, taro, and carrot were crunchy and fresh, and the seafood Rangoon cream cheese puffs were filled with perceptible amounts of shrimp and imitation crab. The boys enjoyed the last two enough we ordered additional plates of both (spring rolls $8, Rangoon $9). Entrees are served with a bowl of rice. Big meaty chunks of roasted ginger duck ($18) were tossed in seasoned oil with fresh ginger, bell pepper, onion, carrot, and mushroom. Though the skin wasn’t the crispy sort I love, the meat itself would satisfy any waterfowl fan. Next, a plate of spicy green bean salmon ($18), chunks of filet fried in an interesting ground chicken crust, with green bean and carrot sauteed in chili paste. The veggies were very fresh, and though swimming in a fair amount of seasoned oil, the spicy flavor was solid. One boy said he wanted pad thai with shrimp–a favorite of mine–then made a last minute switch and ordered tofu instead ($12). The mix of slightly broad rice noodle, egg, browned bean curd, bean sprout, scallion, and tamarind sauce–with julienned carrot and ground peanut on the side–was a bit sweeter than my preference, but absolutely the real deal. Fortunate, since the kid didn’t love it and I took it home for a pretty nice lunch. Green curry avocado ($14) was a first for me, but the sweet/spicy sauce was perfect spooned over rice, along with plenty of chunky ripe avocado, zucchini, green bean, pea, carrot, bell pepper, and chicken. The meat had the “velveted” texture common with Chinese cooking, and the big pieces of avocado really made the dish. We rounded out the meal with “Beef Flame” ($15), a sauteed combination of marinated beef in red wine sauce with onion, mushroom, bell pepper, and fresh cilantro. It was dramatically delivered–sizzling and bubbling on cast iron–akin to fajitas. The flavors and veg were great, though the beef was slightly overcooked. Overall the quality of our experience made obvious the reason for the restaurant’s longevity.

The Similans Thai Eatery – Menu with Prices – 13005 Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy, Fairfax

I had my first taste of Thai food 15 years ago: Pad See Ew with Beef at a Thai chain (which will remain unnamed), and my taste buds did somersaults at the first bite. But after 15 years of trying Thai here and trying it there, it began to taste about the same. Then came Similans. The best Thai I’ve had in years! On a recent snowy day, we ordered delivery – Pad See Ew with beef (can you tell this is my standard?), Hawaiian Fried Rice, Crispy Rolls, and Party Wings. Within an hour, the food was at our door and everything tasted fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The Pad See Ew is some of the best I’ve had in years. Every ingredient – rice noodles, Chinese broccoli, egg, and beef strips – is cooked perfectly on its own and together, the dish comes together beautifully. As many times as I’ve had this dish, it’d been a long time since I’d enjoyed like that. A must! The Hawaiian Fried Rice was a really nice surprise. The curry was light, not at all overpowering, which was important for a rice dish that already has a lot going on, packed with chicken, shrimp, pineapples, cashews, and veggies. A wonderful, comfort dish. The crispy rolls were as good as any you’d find elsewhere, but the wings were pretty special – crispy skin, tender meat, slathered in a sticky sweet and spicy sauce that begs you to lick your fingers. I may have just found my new Thai obsession.

Nantana Thai Food & Desserts – Menu with Prices – 707 Dundas St W, Toronto

I had the Pad Thai combo with Thai Iced Tea, and it was a lot better than what I would have expected from a random storage container shop at Market 707. I enjoyed it a lot! There were very generous amounts of tofu and chicken, and it had the perfect balance of flavour without being too overpowering. The dish also came with a lime slice and red pepper flakes on the side, for those who would like to mix it up a bit. The owner does substitutions and additions for some extra money depending on the substitution. I paid a bit more for an extra portion of the pad thai noodles. The Thai iced tea was very sweet and refreshing too. It was the perfect drink to sip on during the walk back to work. I would recommend Nantana to anyone that enjoys Pad Thai and Thai food in general. It was delicious.

Bricktown Brewery – Menu with Prices – 2035 Rock Rd, Wichita

Twisted comfort food? Yes, please! There were so many different items on the menu that sounded absolutely delicious. Fortunately for us, we consulted our awesome waiter, Ivan, who helped us narrow down our order. We ended up ordering the sea salt caramel fries, avocado fries, boom boom shrimp, watonga cheddar curds, buffalo wings, turkey bacon guacamole melt, meatloaf and chicken fried chicken. My favorite dish was definitely the sea salt caramel fries! I already love sweet potato fries, bacon and caramel separately but man when you serve it up all together – WOW! Cheese curds were also quite delicious, it had a nice thin batter and creamy melted cheese. The flavor of the boom boom shrimp was good, but I’m not a fan of popcorn shrimp. Would have loved it if they used bigger shrimp. By the time the entrees came around, most of the group was already full. I did manage to have a bite of everything and thought the meatloaf was my next favorite. The sauce was really good and that frizzled onion made it extra yummy! The chicken fried chicken was nice thin and crunchy, but a bit too salty for me. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a twist on comfort foods.

Thai Thai House Palm Bay – Menu with Prices – 215 Palm Bay Rd NE, Melbourne

We went for late lunch, so it wasn’t very busy. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. We ordered the Thai spring rolls for an appetizer, and they were okay, but would have been better with more shrimp or the addition of pork which we are accustom to, also need a little less lettuce replaced with basil. My wife ordered a sushi roll (in picture) she enjoyed it and was surprised by how big it was when it arrived. My daughter ordered the chicken pad Thai (2nd pic), both my wife and I tried some and were pleased with the flavor. I ordered the chicken panang, it tasted great, there was a decent amount of chicken, but it needed more vegetables. It literally had 1 small broccoli floret and 4 small slivers of red bell pepper. The bowl was mostly sauce. My daughter and I had the lunch special which included a bowl of Miso soup for $9.95. not a great price but not awful. My thoughts are Okay food, reasonably priced although I feel for what we got the lunch should’ve been either a dollar less or included a drink. Our service was fast, but it was during a slower part of the day, caution because I have read a few reviews where the service wasn’t so good.

Thai Garden – Menu with Prices – 3913 S Western Ave, Oklahoma City

I am a huge fan of Thai food and I’m not stronger to the cuisine with my best friend being part thai, so when this hole in the wall was suggested to me to try I was totally down. Now, don’t let the aesthetics of the place fool you, although the place isn’t the best looking their food will totally make up for it. For dinner me and my friend shared pad see ew, salt and pepper shrimp, and a chicken stir fry. What I like about this place is that the portions are just right to where you can share a couple of dishes and try a variety. The pad see ew and salt and pepper shrimp were amazing, just be careful on the spicy level cause Thai food can get crazy! To be honest I don’t quite remember the chicken curry that we ordered, but it wasn’t that good, very generic and not anything I would order again. Overall this place was great and the owners are wonderful, I would suggest trying a little bit of everything but maybe stay away from the curries/stir frys cause they aren’t their specialities. I would totally come back here again and would definitely recommend it.
