10 years! They had a location off of White Lane and Ashe Road back then but now they’re back after so long! It had been 10 years since I tried these tortas. I’ve never had tortas like these before. I highly recommend the Mexicana or the Western torta. Those are the ones I’ve tried but I’m sure the others are great too! The owner is very attentive and polite. I hope this time they’re here for good! Reasonably priced and great portions. Same great taste as before.

Fusion Lounge – Menu with Prices – 6915 Dixie Rd #4, Mississauga

My boyfriend & I have been regulars at fusion for quite sometime now, the staff is amazing. The service is even better. Ive been to the other sisha lounge in brampton just to see the difference and fusion was by far a better option, heck we left after 30 minutes & went to fusion instead. I was there about 2 weeks ago now & when we went to get up and pay I literally fainted and fell to the ground. The staff was awesome, the owner sat with me ans explained that it was ok and its happened before because of course I was embrassed. As soon as I woke up theyre was a pop in my face and the owner did not let us leave until he felt like I would be okay and I just wanted to give a huge thank you to the owner and the staff at fusion lounge for theyre outstanding service everytime. This is always my go to spot to hang out with friends. 10/10 recommended

La Palatera – Menu with Prices – 4406 Tilden Ave, Laredo

So far, I have not gotten anything but great service at this location. The food is delicious, clean, hot and reasonably priced. Don’t miss trying the tortas and the fruit cup is excellent. My secret addiction is the covered apples. So far so good and I have been coming here for two years. Thank you for having a great product.

Tacos Fiesta Mexicana – Menu with Prices – 4200 Peralta Blvd, Fremont

OK, first and foremost I’m not ashamed, I’m not scared, nor am I intimidated to order food from a food truck. Such mixed feelings when it comes to food trucks… I get it, I’ve heard many war stories from co-workers about the thin line you walk when ordering food from a food truck. I’ve been told to never eat from a food truck on Mondays because they use the remnants of the weekend’s leftovers, I’ve been told there all just glorified “roach coaches”, yadda yadda yadda blah blah blah and that could all be true, but not at Fiesta Mexicana….I think…..I hope. When it comes to taco trucks, Fiesta Mexicana is legit! I keep it pretty simple and straightforward. I’m not a taco truck connoisseur, nor do I go to multiple locations unless I’m captivated by the scent of a lone taco truck grilling up some carne asada from afar. Usually while I’m washing my car or waiting outside of a local DMV office. For the most part only one, this one, and it’s usually when I’m fresh off work. I come here when I have a specific taste for street style carne asada tacos and to my delight Fiesta Mexicana usually comes through with piping hot well garnished corn tortillas stuffed with carne asada, cilantro, onions and a combination of pickled jalapeños and carrots. A quick lunch fix with hard to beat prices. $1.75 for a taco…Not bad in my opinion. Fiesta Mexicana is a clean, well kept, consistent taco truck that offers tacos, burritos, quesadillas to the local Fremont community. Keep up the good work Fiesta Mexicana for I am a repeat offender. p.s.- CASH ONLY

Tortas Vegas? – Menu with Prices – 10890 S Eastern Ave Suite 111, Henderson

This is what I had been waiting for. A vegetarian torta! I stopped in to Tortas Vegas after seeing this business pop up on my yelp dash. I searched through the menu and behold, a vegetarian option. My next day off, this was going to happen. Tortas Vegas was so cute! The interior was bright, colorful, clean, and spacious. The employees were so polite and attentive. Our food was brought out to us in a timely manner. I order the vegetarian torta as a combo. It came with rice, beans, chips, a small container of salsa, and an house made drink. The torta was huge! For 15 dollars I had more than enough food. I honestly could have shared but instead, like the foodie I am, I devoured every bite! The torta was full of flavor. Fresh homemade pesto, grilled squash, roasted red pepper, and melted cheese were the perfect combination. It was everything you’d want in a vegetarian option. The rice and beans were good and the chips were seasoned nicely. Although my friend and I were the only two in the restaurant at the time, service was awesome. The employee who was also our cashier stopped by to check on us multiple times and grab our plates from the table when we were finished, as well as a manager. I would definitely recommend Tortas Vegas, meat eater or not! I will be returning!

I have been looking for a good place for just a simple torta de jamon but it was harder to find than I thought. This place hasn’t been open long but I’m glad I gave it a try. They had exactly what I wanted and much more. They have all different kinds of tortas and tacos but I ordered my torta which was huge btw! It could feed 2 people! It was a bit pricey but like I said, it’s basically two meals. With that and an order of fries and a coca Mexicana made a delicious lunch. I will definitely be going back.

Tortas Manny – Menu with Prices – 845 W Southern Ave, Phoenix

Tortas Manny is a great torta place located in the same complex as Food City. It’s very unassuming and super authentic so you are in for a treat if you swing by! I dropped by after work on a Friday afternoon and grabbed some tortas to go for dinner. I got the vegetarian torta and got my friend a green chile beef torta with a side of fries. I also got some elote for my friend as well. The tortas come with a side of some spicy spicy hot sauce/salsa which I was personally obsessed with. The vegetarian torta was delicious — filled with cheese, avocado, jalapeno, tomato, and some lettuce. The bread was super good and I honestly could only eat half of a portion in one sitting since I devoured all the fries in one go *oops*. My friend enjoyed the beef torta, but felt that the elote had too little corn and too much crema + mayo. Overall, the food was great and the portions are amazing for the price. Service was super sweet and my food was ready in a jiffy. Definitely swing by if you are in the area and grab some great tortas on the most delicious bread!

Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 1235 N E St, San Bernardino

This is a little hole in the wall place, but man are they sure good. They recently came under new ownership, and so they’re not as good as they used to be. But the place is still pretty awesome. They are prety attentive, and have yummy selections. I can never find a combo meal that has exactly what i’m looking for…but they have some good ones. And the price is fair as well. They are very reasonably priced for the amount you get. With in the last year they remodeled the inside. It looks much nicer, more modern, and roomier. I have enjoyed watching this place grow…and hope to continue to do so throught the years to come.

Michoacan Tortas y Tacos – Menu with Prices – 5605 E Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth

So I’ve been on a search for a good torta and I finally found it! Everywhere else I have gone I’ve gotten tortas that are just okay (mainly pretty plain and dry) but here my torta was delicious. The tortas come with beans, mayo, lettuce, tomato, jalapeños and oh yes…AVOCADO! My only complaint is that there was no cheese on it, but I didn’t really feel like it affected the flavor. I just love cheese ? The service was quick, friendly and the restaurant was very clean. We’ll definitely return for more tortas in the future.

Sweet Temptations Restaurant & Catering – Menu with Prices – 5401 N 10th St Ste. 111, McAllen

This review is for the savory breakfast, not the sweet selection of desserts they have on display. I have been frequenting the area for business and seeking out my favorite TexMex morning cuisine. The restaurant has a cozy dining area with a nice home kitchen feel. Service is attentive and the food and coffee hit the spot for breakfast. I had the Migas a la Mexicana (2 days in a row now) and like how they do it here. I think for this dish, the onion and jalapeños really drive the flavors. They do it well here. Jalapeños have just enough heat to carry the dish and onions add a nice savory punch. The signature migas ingredient, fried corn tortilla chips, add a nice crunch. The chips are relatively small here so the dish appears more like straight Huevos a la Mexicana than migas, but it works for me. They also have a good coffee selection and kept my cup full. Sweet Temptations has definitely made it on my breakfast rotation for my return visits. Hasta pronto Sweet T!

New Saigon Restaurant Menu with Prices 333 Union Ave #201, Bakersfield

Been on the road for quite some time and had to stop in Bakersfield, CA. We needed something to soothe our tired bodies. Found this pho place and had to stop in. Was greeted by a very polite young man by the name of Tai. We ordered the combination pho, crispy eggrolls and Viet iced coffee. Everything was really good. We ate up everything. My boyfriend loved the eggrolls so much he wanted to order a dozen more. I told him no. We are stuffed. Lol. Tai provided such awesome service and very polite and even said excuse me when checking to see how our meals were. He even apologized for a rude and obnoxious customer that was in there. They even gave complimentary dessert of tapioca. It was delicious and warm, a taste of mung beans and coconut milk. Yum. Like how mom use to make it. THANKS TAI!

Taco Macho Inc Menu with Prices 5320 Atlanta Hwy, Alpharetta

When it comes to tacos and tortas i am definitely a connoisseur in this food category. I eat tacos/tortas every week at work for lunch and I do double dip with food places lol. This is my first time here i normally went to either Mr. Taco or La Palmas. But I can say this with FuLL confidence. this restaurant is better than any place i have been to and most definitely the best in the area! Their tacos and tortas are so delicious. LOaDED with meat! meat is so flavorful and juicy make u lick the aluminum foil its wrapped in *no lie* … i called it in and it was ready when i got there. They are very fast pace and the salsa bar is EVERYTHING! Go here and you wont regret it!
