I was really excited to check this place out and bring a group of friends with me to use a gift card I received but unfortunately found myself in the hospital for emergency surgery the night I was suppose to go. When looking at my gift card after a week and a half on rest, I realized they place very short expiration dates on them. When calling to explain the situation and to find out what I could do, they said that they had decided to change their entire system and that my gift card was no longer valid. This broke my heart to hear that they wouldn’t honor a gift card I had received two weeks ago and how they treated customer service. If you are planning to buy a gift card here for someone, don’t expect it to work very long or go somewhere else. I would hate for anyone else to have to experience this. Very disappointed.

Cliffside Coffee Menu with Prices 2540 Ross-Osage St, Amarillo

So I have never been to Cliffside, but I have always heard they have amazing customer service, I am here to testify to that customer service. I was trying to purchase a gift card for a sweet friend of mine, and they didnâ??t have a way to purchase a gift card online, so I called up the location, and was asking about what I could do to get a gift card. The young man that answered the phone gave me the option of paying over the phone & the person that was receiving the card, co

Nordstrom Ebar Artisan Coffee – Menu with Prices – 102 Caruso Ave, Glendale

This cafe is on the first floor of Nordstroms. The coffee actually isn’t bad. I thought it’d be shitty gas station coffee, but it’s better than Starbucks (albeit not as good as Coffee Bean). The prices were in line with what you’d expect at this kind of place, and the service was friendly and fast. There’s some seating inside, but really you want to sit outside and people watch. Just be careful no one steals your credit cards. Recently these dudes stole some woman’s credit cards who was sitting outside at the Cheesecake Factory. One guy put a jacket over her purse while the other stole her cards and used them to buy gift cards at Nodstroms. Be careful, everyone. Sad to see shady shit happening in Glendale, but that’s just life. Although I’m not exactly sure how that gift card scam works. I mean, can’t Nodstroms just cancel those gift cards? You’d assume every gift card has its own unique number. If they know what credit card was used to buy the gifts cards, can’t they just cancel those gift cards? I wonder what the thieves are gonna do with the gift cards. Try to sell them to other people? Use them themselves? I was thinking when someone tried to use the “hot” gift cards, the cashier should pull out a machine gun and shoot them dead. But then my wife pointed out that might not be fair because what if it’s not the thief who uses the gift card? Fair enough. So instead take the person to the storage closet and mercilessly beat them with jumper cables until they divulge where they got the gift cards. I hate thieves.

Happy Life Organics Veggie Deli – Menu with Prices – 1215 Broadway Ste E, Chula Vista

It has taken me a while to post my experience at his place because of the awful treatment I received by the woman who I presume was the owner. A while back, one of the employees gave me a “buy 10, get 1 free” card. I tried using it on this particular day when the woman demanded to know who gave the card to me. I said a male employee. She started chastising me saying those cards were for 2 gallons at a time, not one. I said well I didn’t make the card, it was given to me. She started going off about how the card wasn’t valid and what not loudly, in a demeaning tone in front of other customers. I was so fed up with her that I walked out of the store. There were so many other ways she could have addressed that. And I will say, I was a customer for a long time because for a while it was the nearest place that sells alkaline water in my area. But lucky for me I can go to the one by Seafood City and this woman can keep her miserable attitude and water to herself. Bola de brujería.

Harbor Fish Market – Menu with Prices – 9 Custom House Wharf, Portland

Got a $110 gift certificate for Christmas. Tried to order $56 worth of product on line. Could not get the order to go through after many tries. Finally called and was advised I had to put in a credit card number as well as a gift card number even if the amount ordered was less than the amount on the gift card. I advised the service rep that it was not made clear on the website that both was needed. She said she knew but nothing she could do about it. I advised she could advise management as the current system resulted in a very poor custermer interaction. Turns out my total order was $135, so shipping was more than half the value of the gift card. Moral of the story, Harbor Fish Market may have a good product (will have to wait upon my order’s arrival to verify), and their prices in their retail store may be competitive, but they are DEFINITELY A POOR ON LINE VALUE. My advise, save your money and buy local. A $50 Red Lobster gift card would have been MUCH better.

Chili’s Grill & Bar – Menu with Prices – 12505 W Markham St, Little Rock

Not so much this location but chili’s customer service ZERO stars for them, tried to order the $50 gift card online that comes with the free $10 ecard when we went there this weekend for my 9 year old daughters birthday, she wanted to eat there it’s her favorite place. I eat there quite often dinners with my family and on my lunch breaks also, I spend probably a hundred dollars a month there. Well I couldn’t order the gift card online, tried more than one browser, tried more than one card to order it. I’ve found several times trying to order online that their website is frequently messed up or down which is always an inconvenience when I’m working and cannot talk on the phone. So I emailed customer service that I was unable to order the card with the free $10, we went there to eat without the gift card with the free bonus, they emailed me 2 days later and insisted that it was me or my fault, that I don’t know whay kind of browser I’m using or that I’m too dumb to put in the card number correctly, the BROWSERS were both right & so were both of my card numbers only to get an error message of the card card cannot be processed at this time, I was even told, that that doesn’t happen on their site so they’re going to flat out deny how every time it screws up you can’t even select the location you want to order from. I explained that in another email, the horrible customer service person came back with some bullshit about how it says some bullshit somewhere. I emailed back again and said I feel like they should give me the $10. ANY OTHER place I’ve ever eaten at that made a mistake was more than willing to compensate for it. Nope, they didn’t even answer my email back. Don’t give these horrible people your money they’re too cheap to spend $10 to keep good business and there’s plenty of other places to eat where people are actually nice.

Aloft Green Bay – Menu with Prices – 465 Pilgrim Way, Green Bay

I will start this review by saying that I am a frequent at the Marriott and I thought with this being apart of the brand now I could give it a try. Initial impression: The hotel was very easy to access and had great parking in front of the hotel, which was very easy to find a park. I thought the outside of the hotel was clean and it was a pretty nice hotel. Check in: Now for the reasons for such a low rating. Through my banks reward perks I was able to get gift cards to the Marriott brand so it was perfect. My card is already on file when I book on Marriott so I went to the front desk and the staff was welcoming. We proceed to check in and I mention that I had gift cards. The front desk staffed seemed a little confused on how to proceed stating that they rarely get gift cards. So one of the staff members goes and gets the manager to help. Okay cool. The manager comes out not making eye contact first saying “well we need to make sure they are valid first”. Rude! Once they check the validity of the gift cards we then proceed with the transaction. The manager told me to just swipe my card, not asking which method of payment I was choosing or anything, nor a total. In short the manager wanted me to pay the total for the room with my card and THEN was going to utilize the gift cards stating “incidentals”. For me this did not make sense, especially if someone has a coupon or gift card, wouldn’t you want to take this off first? Well then she tried to argue that the gift card did not cover the whole stay anyways which is why she was going to apply it last. Again does not make sense. I frequently travel, I am aware of incidental fees and was in no way trying to move around them but I was not going to utilize my gift card for that. When I asked how much the incidentals were she said she did not know it was up to the bank usually 50-100 dollars. Well if you were not sure you were just going to take the 100 gift card for incidentals because you felt like it?I asked if I could put the incidentals on my credit card. She then said that she does not think they can accept multiple forms of payment. What?? Either way we ended up swiping my credit card for the incidentals and guess what it held? $1.00. Yep a measly dollar. So this manager was going to just apply the incidentals for a 100.00 because she felt like it and was not even sure what my bank was going to charge me for it. Once that craziness was over with she then proceeded to tell us about the area and things to do. The conversation ended positively but this was clearly a training issue if the staff does not know how to apply a gift card. Please address that issue. The room: I thought the room was very cute. Butttt…The bed I ordered was a King and it was quite clear it was a queen. I sleep in a King at home so I am familiar with the size. I then called down to the front desk and stated that I did request a king bed and she asked if there were one or two beds in the room. I replied one and she said “well all of the one bed rooms are kings so it is a king.” Even though we took measurements from the app on our phone and compared it to the dimensions of a queen bed. At this point I was over this hotel. All in all I thought the property was very cute and trendy but due to my poor experience I will NOT be returning to this hotel. I absolutely enjoy the Marriott and will continue to stay at other hotels in the brand.

Jadeha Baking Service – Menu with Prices – 404 Carter Rd, Clarksville

Got a gift certificate for a free cake from a silent auction and ordered a simple wedding cake. Never received cake or notice of non delivery. Instead was told they had an accident on Madison st delivering the cake, I was married in ky so they were going in the opposite direction. Ended up with a white Walmart cake after the reception started. If they didn?t want to honor there gift certificate they should have said so. Not tell me they were in an accident driving away from where I was getting married.

Silver Leaf Cigar Lounge – Menu with Prices – 426 Commerce St, Fort Worth

Been to this place a few times, mostly a good experience. Visited again on New Year’s Eve and I was absolutely disgusted with the service received by the female bartender Veronica who is a straight up thief! I ordered 1 cocktail and was charged nearly 30 dollars! Went I confronted her that maybe she had made a mistake she proceeded to tell me that she had given me a discount and refused to correct her mistake.i later spoke with a manger who finally tried to rectify the situation. I am still very shocked with the way I was treated, I and hope people will be more aware of their tabs as she tried to make me look like a liar or as if I didn’t wanna pay for my drink! I hate leaving negative reviews but I hate dishonest people even more!

Quarter Horse Bar & Arcade – Menu with Prices – 108 S Mangum St, Durham

Highly disappointed with the ?Quarter Horse Arcade?. On October 11, I was visiting my family in Durham and close family members invited to ?Quarter Horse Arcade? . Upon arriving, the bouncer at the door told me that I was not allowed to enter the bar after presenting my consular ID card. When asked why, the bouncer stated that it is not a valid ID. I proceeded to tell him that the Consular identification card is indeed considered a government issued I.D. I tried to explain to him that the consular ID is accepted as a form of identification with NC police and by many establishments in the same city. Also, I tried to explain him that it is a valid ID and Chicago where I live. The bouncer rudely replied, ?maybe in Chicago but here in NC, the laws are not the same? and continually spoke over me. Not only was I being shamed but he was dismissive towards me whenever I tried to speak. I left feeling disappointed, shamed, and discriminated. Before judging and being rude towards customers, I would highly recommend the staff to be more informed on not only laws of the state but also improving their customer service skills. I will not be recommending this establishment.

Babs McDance Social Dance Club and Ballroom – Menu with Prices – 6782 Market St, Wilmington

This is a great place for couples to get dance lessons, Rachel is a very good instructor. They text you appointment reminders which is nice. Only disappointment is the lack of customer service in scheduling lessons through a gift certificate. The certificate was only good for 6 months and there was no flexibility in extending it. Per the 2009 Credit card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act gift certificates and gift cards should have no less than 5 years for an expiration date. if we didn’t get to use it we would lose it per Babs Mcdance.

Sam’s Club Bakery – Menu with Prices – 2300 W White Oaks Dr, Springfield

I’m disappointed with how I’ve been treated by the hearing aid department at Sam’s Club. Four years ago I bought a pair of expensive heating aids there. The audiologist said if I purchased the pair they would provide free batteries as long as I owned them. He also said when it came time to purchase a new pair, they would apply the full purchase price of the old pair toward a trade. Things were great for several years and then the person I purchased them from left. The new hearing aid specialist said her predecessor made those promises to many customers but he shouldn’t have. She said she would not honor the trade-in promise and last week she said they would no longer honor the promise of free batteries for as long as I owned my hearing aids. An honest company keeps its commitments. They have not. And there is no disagreement that such promises were made. After they would not honor the trade-in promise, I purchased new hearing aids elsewhere. When I inquired if I donated my old hearing aids to someone in need from my church, whether they would fit them for him, I was told they would but they would charge the needy fellow $650 for the service. Lucid Hearing, which is the vendor in Sam’s is not someone I would do business with.

AMC CLASSIC Mill Plain 8 – Menu with Prices – 11700 SE 7th St, Vancouver

I’ve had nothing but terrible experiences here, I would honestly not even be going today if someone hadn’t bought me a gift card. We decided after having our gift certificate for over six months that we should just use them. Today we walked in and were rudely told they weren’t open yet. If you’re not open you should have the back door unlocked for employees, not the front door where customers can walk in. Instead of kindly apologizing, the employee in the front rudely said they weren’t open. At which point, we asked why the door was unlocked and the employee again replied with a snotty tone that it was for employees, and that she was sorry. However, the sorry wasn’t a sorry, the tone was an implied shut up, as if where she said sorry, she meant get out. Even as I’m sitting here, i just watched a family walk in through the unlocked door and come out and speed away. Looks like they were treated the same shitty way, from the same crappy employee we just met. So yeah, never going here again! I don’t even care if someone gets me free tickets. The employees here are rude and incredible inconsiderate. Oh and their popcorn sucks! Better go to regal down the road! Update: it kept getting worse! Literally the only thing on their menu for vegan options is fries, hummus, and popcorn… but wait…. I have to ask for my fries without Parmesan cheese, and my hummus without feta. Get with the times, this is 2019! Broke down seats, dirty bathrooms, bad service, the only good thing was the movie, of course they had nothing to do with that!
