Back in the day this was the BEST milk in Texas. The building, has been CLOSED for over 2 YRS. I guess Google does not update their maps soon enough. I went to a car wash ACROSS THE STREET from the hygeia building

Prontofresh – Menu with Prices – 131 E Water St, Syracuse

Rushed over to this place on my lunch break. After reading the reviews of how good this place is I was really craving a healthy alternative to the mall food court choices. After trying both doors they seemed to be locked and after walking around the building to the back a guy comes out Iâ??m assuming the manager and said he closes early whenever he feels like it, today he closed at 3. It was 4pm when we arrived and google said they close at 5. If a business is going to operate on flexible hours they should update it on google or put a sign out saying theyâ??re closed so customers donâ??t waste their time trying to give them their business. Bad business decision and an inconvenience! We were so excited to try this little place out but my advice? Go early!

Cuts By Jack – Menu with Prices – 2228 Newport Blvd A1, Costa Mesa

Recently moved from Brooklyn, so I have been looking for a new hair stylist. Happened upon Jack on yelp and decided to give him a go. Turned out to be the right move. The only hiccup I had was getting to the place. That was due to a combination of me not typing in the yelp address or the address sent to me by the reservation reminder text and of google maps playing with me. I just searched “Cuts by Jack” on google maps and it gave the right written address but showed the wrong location on the map and took me to an ARCO gas station 8 minutes away from the actual studio. So needless to say I was late. Sorry Jack. Once there, the studio is spacious and clean. They only moved in 4 weeks ago or so. Seems that only Jack and one other stylist is working out of there right now. They don’t take walk-ins, so no need to wait. Jack himself was nice. He was the right amount of personable, and he took his time with a high level attention to detail. Also provided a good amount of recommendations while also taking into account what I was going for. I usually need some advice as I usually don’t know exactly what I’m going for, so this was a definite plus. I feel like Jack is skilled in both longer scissored cuts and traditional fades/shorter barber style cuts. I’d say the cut ranked up there with cuts I was getting in NYC that were 3-4 times the price. They also provide the usual refreshments: water, beer, soda. Anywho, I no longer trust google maps, but I do trust Jack with my hair. Will be back.

Chick-fil-A – Menu with Prices – 1510 Wahnish Way, Tallahassee

This restaurant is located inside a building on the FAMU campus. We found it from Google maps. After we placed our order for 3 combo meals, the male clerk asked what our drinks were again. I told him and then we moved down to collect our take out orders. We didn’t realize until we were at our car that we didn’t receive our drinks! We thought they were in the bag but they weren’t. We even went to get ketchup packets and no one came to us with them. Not efficient!

Anatomy Wine Club – Menu with Prices – 1600 NW 16th St, Oklahoma City

I thought there was a small parking lot in the middle of the building after I looked the place up on Google maps. But those were private lots. So there’s only street parking which I’m not a fan of due to the area especially at night. The place had a great atmosphere, very laidback, and well decorated. For a weekday it was packed though! A friend of mine got there early, (a little before 5pm) but the only available spots was at the bar. Before I came in I looked at their menu on the website, I was planning to get one of the drinks called Tequila Spritzer. But the menu is seasonal it seemed so it wasn’t on the menu when I came in. The bartender was able to come up with a similar drink. It was served in a pretty glass, but the drink was really weak. She offered to remake it, it was a little stronger, but still not good enough. I should’ve gone with one of the wines, but I’m more of a cocktail person. I’m glad I got to checked this bar out, but probably not my go to bar.

Level Up Gaming – Menu with Prices – 1301 E University Dr #128, Tempe

Front desk guy, Asian with long hair in a pony tail and a mustache/goatee combo, was just rude and unpleasant. He didn’t say hi when I came in. I stood there for 2 minutes while he just quietly played Call of Duty. Once he didn’t he said “What’s up?” in a cold tone. I said that I would like to get an hour to play and asked about the first time free hour thing so I could get a total of two hours. He said “Yeah. That expired over a year ago.” Even though I saw a review on Google maps that said that you get an hour free for your first time just 2 months ago. Guy played video games instead of checking multiple different people in that came in. It was also 5 dollars for an hour instead of 3.50 like what other people said. I would much rather just go to Pure Esports in Gilbert. Better computers. Better peripherals. Friendlier staff. And MUCH better chairs. For just two bucks more. Edit: I can only assume that’s the owner, his family member or some other thing for him to not be fired yet. The place has multiple different bad reviews because of him on Google maps.

Water and Ice Mesa – Menu with Prices – 4355 E University Dr # 115, Mesa

I am appalled at the first time (and last) experience I just had at this place. I find there location on google maps and it says they close at 7pm. I pull in at 645 and run up to the door to double check there hours and posted on the door is 8pm and I can see other customers inside. I grab a cart and take it to my truck to load the (6) 5 gallon jugs of water to be filled. I open the door and walk in and get stopped by a young male employee running up and standing in front of my waving his hands saying “No we are closed” I turn to look and there are four other customers off to the side ordering ice cream and I ask what about them. He tells me “that is it. Those are our last customers and we are closed come back tomorrow” After having that experience I load my 6 jugs back in the truck and leave. That was an absolute JOKE / unprofessional experience I have ever had at a business. Google says they close at 7pm, the front door says 8pm and either way its 645 but then to have an employee run up to you and stop you from coming in is ridiculous. If you have an employee running up to you it should be to give you a hand not to stop you from bring in business. That was so wrong of these people all because they were in a hurry to get out of work on a saturday evening. I WOULD STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND EVEN DRIVE MILES OUT OF THE WAY TO TAKE MY BUSINESS TO SOMEONE THAT WOULD APPRECIATE IT!!!

Sweetwaters Hahne Bldg – Menu with Prices – 52 Halsey St, Newark

Perfect shop for downtown Newark. Small, quaint and delicious coffee. And the staff are S U P E R accommodating and VERY nice. I usually get the Crème Caramel with almond milk until one of the SUPER DUPER nice baristas (I don’t know her name but will update when I find out) suggested I try the oat milk. It must be popular because when I ordered it recently, they were out of oat milk. I jokingly offered to buy them some oat milk from the Whole Foods next door in the Hanhe building. Instead, it was made with the almond milk. And the same barista suggested the organic agave to sweeten it up a little with a piece of the coffee cake. Hot perfection after the perfect workout at Planet Fitness. I can’t wait until my workout is complete tomorrow for some oat milk PERFECTION! And that awesome barista.

Nicolson’s Strawberries – Menu with Prices – 8112 Foothill Blvd, Rancho Cucamonga

This is an update. I drove by yesterday (April 3, 2019) & they were open. Isn’t it poor business that they never attempted to communicate with me regarding my previous visit & phone messages? They indeed appeared to have large red strawberries. I was shocked to find a 1/2 crate to be $23. I am accustomed to purchasing a full crate of truly red juicy tasty berries for $15-20 so this is extremely high. Perhaps it is because it is early in the season? I bought since they have the “reputation” to have juicy red berries. I am home & eating them now. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! They are solid white on the inside. They are not juicy or ripe. They are crispy like an apple. Their taste is marginally “ok”. I wouldn’t have purchased even one basket for this mediocre quality. I will not return. To substantiate my claim about quality & prices: Truly red juicy tasty berries can be bought on Hwy 132 just west of Modesto on a farm, also in American Canyon on a highway on a highway, & also at a farm between Oroville & Paradise (not positive she is still there due to the Camp Fire). My wife & I also grow some in our backyard garden but not enough for our consumption which is why I am shopping. My original review: I believe the Yelp reviewers who say these people are the exception. They sell RIPE tasty berries. I am from San Francisco but was in L.A.. I knew there were berry farms in the area so Yelped it. I was pleased to find this place. I phoned them (3 times Friday Sept 21, 2018) & got an answering machine. No message telling me I even reached the correct people. Yelp says that they close at 5. Google Maps said they’d close “within one hour of my arrival time.” So no one knows that they are CLOSED! As in not open at all for business (at least for days, weeks, or months). I arrived at 5:10. They are fenced off & the gate is closed. It is apparent that they have been closed for days or weeks. It seems like a strange time to be seasonally closed as other berry farms are selling berries. Berries are growing good in my home garden. Their fields are behind their store. The fields look like they are dirt mounds covered in plastic. I guess they are preparing for planting? I should give them 1 star for poor communication. I gave them 3 stars as I believe the Yelpers. Whenever they open, I bet their berries are fantastic.

Ricos Antojitos – Menu with Prices – 3753 Mission Ave #121b, Oceanside

Found this place after checking out the “Hot and New” choices in the area. Let me start this out by saying the address listed on Yelp is incorrect, it’s actually at 3753 not 3754, which makes a huge difference since they are across the street (Mission Ave) from each other. It’s next to the KFC. If you use Google maps it actually stops right in the middle of Mission Ave and you need to decide which shopping center to go in to. After we found it we tried a few different things. The regular ol’ taquitos were very good, a birria quesataco was pretty good and the quesadilla with birria, which had quite a bit of meat in it, was also pretty good. I’ve gone to a birria place in Logan Heights a few times and the birria here is a bit different. We all know recipes can change by family and chef. This one was a little on the sweeter side. They use homemade corn tortillas and their salsas were really good. Some of them had quite a kick to them…..tasty. They also have a grill/BBQ outside the front door where they were grilling chicken. That was pretty awesome because you know you’re getting some freshly cooked chicken. The only problem was when the front door was left open. The smoke from the grill came inside the restaurant seating area and that became a little overpowering. If they’re going to grill they need to make sure the door is closed. The door was eventually closed but dang it got smoky in there for awhile. We’ll go back and try some different items from their decent size menu.

Je Ne Sais Quoi – Menu with Prices – 1673 Hertel Ave, Buffalo

I’ve wanted to visit Je Ne Sais Quoi when they were on Jefferson Ave but never made it. I finally found a friend that was excited to try it just as much as myself. I didn’t use google maps when going because I assumed I could just find it as I rolled down Hertel Ave, however, that was not the case. If anyone is familiar with that area it sits back, the sign isn’t catchy at all. I didn’t see it or my passenger. I had to turn on google maps and I had passed it. It’s located right next to the Wine and Spirits library (which seems to have closed) Anywho, upon walking in I was greeted by a very nice gentleman and seated. The waitress then came and took our drink orders, I had been told by several people that the Kool-Aid was amazing so I had to try it because I I hadn’t had Kool- Aid since I was a teenager, and it was AMAZINGGGGG!!! Def a MUST HAVE!! It was so cold and good.. yum yum.. There are so many things I want to try but I am a HUGE fan of country fried wings so that’s the first entree I decided to try.. The entree came with 6 country fried wings, 2 sides-I ordered green beans and mac & cheese. The wings have me completely sold, the sides were okay, they weren’t bad but I’ve had better and I preferred the green beans over the mac. My friend (who is a cook) ordered the smothered pork chops with mac & cheese and yams. She enjoyed her meal but wasn’t a fan of the sides, she had the same review as I had. We both plan on going back to try new things. The customer service was GREAT, I can’t remember our waitress name but she was so friendly and she talked about how she helped her mom (or possibly aunt) shop for the decor and her spirit was just beautiful. The only negative that I have is when I left I had to attend another affair and I smelled just like fried food. I’m not sure if a better ventilation system is needed but I just won’t go anywhere to meet people after eating here, but I will still eat here..

101 Cider House – Menu with Prices – 1700 Naud St, Los Angeles

Let our confusion help you out finding this place. So Google maps lists this place which is actually their office NOT A TASTING ROOM. They do offer sales of all their collection as well as others they distribute here so it’s worth stopping by if your looking for a hard to find bottle.

Tapioca Express – Menu with Prices – 1480 Eastlake Pkwy Ste.903, Chula Vista

3 stars because I have high expectations from tapioca express. I love my thai tea with boba. I had a craving for a cup last night but the usual tapioca express I go to was closed. So with the help of Google I found this one. Filled with relief and joy I gladly drove the 16 minutes to this restaurant. I ordered my usual drink. Except this drink did not taste like the drink I desired. It tasted like heavy cream or condensation milk. I couldn’t taste the black tea.I understand the aspects of milk tea but it was to much milk…. To top it off the boba was hard and unfresh as if they were left out to dry and the effort to salvage them was useless. Overall the customer service was great the atmosphere was nice too. I just wont visit this place again at 10pm. Lesson learned
