ordered a veggie sandwich with a pasta salad side and my friend ordered a hamburger. After you order they guide you to the back of the restaurant to get your drink at a self service table. Plenty of seating at various old chairs and tables. While everything was old and maybe a little battered, it was all very clean. After a while someone brings your food to your table. We both enjoyed both our plates, the pasta salad was excellent. As you’re eating you can’t help checking out ALL the stuff surrounding the tables.

The Italian American Community Center Menu with Prices 257 Washington Ave Ext, Albany

Probably the nicest buffet I’ve ever been to. They only host this buffet once a week every Monday night for 3 hours. The space, which looks like a fancy banquet area, was filled with nicely set tables in a finely lit area. The staff were friendly and our waiter was very attentive and professional. I enjoyed the selections they had spread out and it was some of the tastiest Italian food I’ve had. They had a pasta station there that I found interesting where someone actively cooked a small pasta dish for you with your choice of pasta and sauces. They had a large, beautiful dessert table filled with a wide array of desserts that I and others at my table enjoyed sampling. Unfortunately a lot of the desserts I found too loaded up on sugar so I couldn’t finish most of them, but the taste was satisfying. I enjoyed the experience and wouldn’t mind going again sometime in the future. If you enjoy Italian food and have a major sweet tooth then I definitely recommend this company’s Monday night buffet.

Union & Finch Menu with Prices 1528 Union St, Allentown

We were staying the Allentown area and selected Union and Finch, based on their menu and prices. We were not disappointed. Even though we had nine people at our table, the staff was efficient to see that we were seated and promptly waited on. . . We ordered a variety of appetizers, salads and entrees. Everyone said their dinner was excellent. I had the pasta dish. Which was very high quality. The pasta seemed homemade and tasted great.. . It was my wife’s birthday and I asked for something with a candle on it after dinner. I was not disappointed. I had almost forgotten about my request, when all of a sudden an entire group of employees was singing happy birthday with a piece of birthday cake and a candle, surrounding our table. Their voices were so powerful, it scared me for a second. So my wife and family were certainly surprised.. . Overall, a great dining experience. There is a bar at the entrance and they had live entertainment that evening, which was very good. There is parking in the rear of the building, which is adequate for the size of the restaurant. . . I give Union and Finch two thumbs up.

Dangelo Pizzeria Italiana – Menu with Prices – 4255 US 1 S, Ste 8, St. Augustine

My friend Mario (heâ??s the real deal too) insisted that we go here for dinner. He told us that the new owners were from Rome, and that we would be highly impressed. I finally talked my daddy into trying it tonight. Wow. The side salad was enough to feed two people, the gravy on my pasta was outstanding, and the garlic rolls (knots) were crispy, dripping with oil and cheese. Seriously the salad and rolls alone were a full meal. We devoured as much as possible, and still had plenty of leftovers. I really donâ??t care what the pizza is like, the dinner plates are the find. Not since the Scagliones in Tampa started in the business have I been this positive about recipes and execution. The storefront is clean, with zero atmosphere, plain hard tables and harsh lighting, but it doesnâ??t matter as soon as the meal begins.

Regina’s Kitchen LLC – Menu with Prices – 1801 15th St, Mobile

I was visiting from Tuscaloosa and was happy to find Regina’s Kitchen. I greatly enjoyed my Ham Solo sandwich and mud cake. The place was pretty packed around noon so be sure to get there early if you’re in a hurry. I loved the variety and uniqueness of their sandwiches. I had the pasta salad as the side due to seeing a few recommendations on yelp for it. I’m not a big pasta salad fan and I thought it was okay. The mud cake and sandwich quickly made up for it. I could only eat half the mud cake which worked out great for an after dinner desert at my hotel. The employees were nice and the food came out relatively quickly for how many people were there. If you see an open table, grab it quick or it will be gone. Hope to go back another time.

Meiga Sushi – Menu with Prices – 1379 E Highland Ave, San Bernardino

Had dinner in the middle of the week here at the recommendation of my son. The restaurant was very clean and organized. At first I thought the music was too loud but once we set down at our booth it was perfect. You could have a conversation at your table but not hear other table conversations. Husband ordered seaweed salad, suchimi and an ice tea. I ordered Bentos box with teriyaki chicken, beef, gozas, salad and tempura. Orders arrive very quickly and the waitress was very attentive. The restaurant even gave us a few shrimp tempura for free. Hubby loved his meal and said the fish was very fresh and flavorful. Seaweed salad was tangy and the dressing was tangy. I enjoyed everything except the beef teriyaki (reason for the 4 stars) the beef was tuff and had a lot of grissel, which was a bummer. But the goza, chicken, rice and salad was very good. Their ginger dressing was excellent and I ended up asking for more and poured it over my rice. We ended the meal with free ice cream. Plan to eat there again.

Taverna Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 661 Bay St, Staten Island

Let me start by saying we have been here many times and the food always makes up for the poor service each time. Last night, from the moment we walked in and sat at bar to the time we finally sat and had our first course, it was horrendous! We arrived at 745p. For 8pm reservation. Our party sat at bar and order a round of drinks. 20 minutes later and we had to remind her that she still did not make our drinks. At 830pm we ask how much longer for our table. We were told shorty. We finally sat at 915pm. We ordered the family style off the menu. First course arrive a half hour later ! It was excellent, that much I will give. It should not take a half hour to arrive ! It was just greek salad and hot antipasto. Our dirty dishes PLUS the appetizers dirty dishes where still on to able when next course arrived. The pasta. No serving spoon in the large bowl of pasta for 4 people and just dropped on table. No one offered to serve it for us, asked if we needed anything and since we had no serving spoon, we couldn’t either. Had to track down the lovely bus women and she came over with a serving spoon for us. We didn’t even start eating the pasta when ALL the other food was brought out ! ALL of it. When we told the waiter we didn’t eat pasta yet as it took 15 minutes to get a spoon, he said well, I have to leave all the food … we can’t just make new ones for you. He left all the food. The restaurant was over crowded for the amount of staff. It was also extremely hot inside, unbearable hot. We have no idea if the food was good or not as we exactly for the first time ever, got up and walked out! The Attitude from the waiter and then owner was unacceptable! No, I’m sorry. We were over booked. Nothing but .. what would you like us to do, make all new dishes and throw out all this food ? Considering we didn’t even eat the pasta yet, all of the other food would have been cold by the time we would have. Sadly, sometimes you just can’t over look poor service no matter how good the food is. I understand they were over booked. It happens. It’s the way the situation is handled that makes some restaurant owners shine over others!

Pacific Buffet – Menu with Prices – 2475 Chastain Meadows Pkwy NW, Marietta

My friend and I try to grab lunch together at least once a week, and we tend to find a buffet where we have a variety and be able to sit down, enjoy a meal, and chat. This one tops the list out of the many that we have tried in the surrounding area (believe me… we have tried a lot!!). The place is huge in comparison to some of the other ones. Tere was American cuisine (pizza, fries, wings, etc), Asian cuisine (different chk dishes, noodles. Fried rice, soups, etc), Japanese cuisine (all different kind of sushi). The fries were absolutely cooked to perfection, the pizza had a good ratio of dough to toppings, the noodles were flavorful, the soup was just ok (not my favorite, had better from other places). I didn’t try any of the sushi because it just didn’t seem fresh to me. The color of the fish was off, so I didn’t want to risk it and get a stomach ache. Then to finish our meal with delicious ice cream!! I mixed my flavors and got cookies ‘n cream with mint chocolate chip . Wish I had room for more ice cream!! The staff was attentive, always there to refill our waters and take our dirty plates. Very polite!! The place isn’t spotless, but the tables were clean and no food dropping all over the ground. However, I did find it weird that the 2 servers we had were sitting at the table next to us having lunch. It didn’t bother me that they were eating (they’re people too, but it’s the perception that bothered me)… but eating while working? Dont they get a lunch break? And do they not have a break room where they can eat in peace instead of taking a bite (more like scruffing down their food) and having to go clean tables and refill the customer’s drinks? Seems weird to me â?â?. This is probably the reason I gave it a 2 stars, you’re in the service industry; dont be scruffing down your food in front of me!! Do that in the back, out of the customer’s view!!! I just dont want to see you licking your fingers, wiping your mouth then come pour me water. At least go wash your hands first!!

First Watch – 94 Hundred Shea – Now Open! – Menu with Prices – 9325 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale

Thought I would come in to support the new restaurant, I sat at the bar alone (no one else was at the bar), I ordered a salad without dressing and the server brings out the wrong salad with dressing on the side, then when she brings me the right salad, she brings it with the dressing on the salad, for the kicker.. when she finally bring the right salad with the dressing on the side I asked for a box and started to pack to go and under the first part was the original salad with the dressing on haha right how embarrassing to know their staff would do this, so the linemen used the same salad. When asked for a manager that girl goes over to my server and tells her first then goes to the manager’s area which is so unprofessional then the linemen all are staring at me when the manager does arrive. I said look at your staff right now, he apologized I asked if I could pay for my drink and I wanted to leave he said he would remake my salad, but at this point does anyone trust that the staff would not do anything to your food, you would hope that wouldn’t happened especially in Scottsdale. When I went into my hair salon after I told them what happened and the girls said they have ordered there twice and there food has been wrong every time and when they went to pick up the correct order the staff was rude. I will not be coming back to this location and I will be telling everyone I know and also writing on yelp. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and what is sad to remake a salad does not come out of the linemen’s paycheck so why couldn’t they just have done it right in the first place. To my server, if you can’t remember one order please use an ordering pad, it was not busy and I was a party of one! When the staff looks at you like it was my fault when it clearly was the incompetent SERVER who was at fault.

Frank’s Press Box – Menu with Prices – 7216 W Saginaw Hwy, Lansing

My table of 5 got there at 9:00 pm Saturday after the U of M spring game. Buddy had said he’d been there before and a great place to eat, said we’d all snack on the huge nachos before our main meal. The establishment had very few people eating but a lot of loud very intoxicated patrons. The waitress, whose pants were so tight if she farted she’d would have blew her shoe off, got our drinks and returned them to the table. She brings 4 menus and never brought the 5th. After 20 plus minutes she takes our order. The nachos, embarrassing in size, comes to the table about 30 minutes later. The order the table placed was very simple and relatively fast to cook consisted of three hamburgers, chicken tenders and a Reuben. The order came another 40 minutes later minus one hamburger. The Reuben did not have any thousand island sauce on it and it took over 10 minutes for, my pants are so tight it’s cut off my oxygen to my brain, to come to our table only to say I don’t think we have any. 10 minutes later she brings some sauce in a little container. The hamburger the 5th person at the table was waiting for, after everyone was done eating, CAME in a to go container 30 minutes later. Simply unreal and unimaginable! I think what bothers me more than anything is she did not care one bit, I mean not one bit. Her tip, loser jeans girl you are not remotely close to being an 8th of all that! To respond on the food 1/2 lbs burger maybe were 1/4 lbs, asked for medium they were well done. Just a complete nightmare.

Divicious Deli & Coffee Shop – Menu with Prices – 128 E Main St, Lakeland

Today was our first experience at Divicious and it is tasty. This is a very small deli with an extensive coffee bar. There is room for 8 people at tables inside and a couple of tall chairs at a bar. There are a couple of tables and chairs outside on the patio by the street. \nToday we ordered a Reuben sandwich, a mesquite turkey sandwich with garlic cheddar cheese on Cuban bread pressed and a Turkey Pastami with Swiss on croissant. We tried sides of macaroni salad, pasta salad, regular potato salad and Tri potato salad made with sweet potatoes. All were delicious and the prices are nice too with sandwiches ranging $4.40-$6.99 each and the sides were $1.69 each. They have a small selection of baked items baked in house too. \nYou order at the counter and they deliver to your table. This is a nice place to visit downtown Lakeland.

Heritage Eagle Bend Golf Club Menu with Prices 23155 E Heritage Pkwy, Aurora

I came here for brunch on a Sunday 3/30 at around 11:30, and it was HORRIBLE. The food was dry and disgusting. There was next to no choices. They call it a buffet, but all they had was an omelette bar, run by a nice kid who’s probably never made an omelette in his life. The line at the omelette bar took around 20 minutes to get through. The “buffet” was two tiny tables crammed together with unlabeled trays with dried bacon & sausage, cold hashbrowns, Green Chile, AND THAT’S IT. They also had a beautiful chateaubriand that was cooked so well-done it wasn’t even edible. Then they had smoked salmon that was truly revolting. The head chef later admitted it was frozen cold-smoked Atlantic salmon and he wasn’t happy with the quality, but he served it anyway. This meal reminded me of a breakfast at a Holiday Inn when you get there right before they clean-up. Not in any way, shape or form worth what they were charging. On top of all this, our waitress was terrible, never checked on us once. I had to tell her to clean off the plates. Then, after we were clearly done, and I made her take all the plates, she never brings me a check. My girlfriend and I sit there waiting for almost 10 minutes, trying to wave her down. Finally, I asked to speak to the manager. She informs me there is no manager or owner there. She proceeds to bring me the young kid from the omelette bar. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a great guy, but not even the head chef. He admits to only being there 2 months. Finally, I tell him I want the head chef. I wait an additional 7-10 minutes for him to arrive at the table, he was a nice guy as well and finally comped the bill. I will never be back. If you want a good brunch, go elsewhere.

Palsaik Korean BBQ – Menu with Prices – 22757 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance

I just tried this restaurant today because I was in the area after my dentist appointment and I was looking for a low carb option for lunch that was different from my usual spots. I get in there and ask if they take to-go orders and the owner said yes! The to-go options were the bibimbap lunch (looked really good, but… low carb), and she showed me the pork belly choices. I’m typically a beef person but the beef options were more than I wanted to spend for lunch to-go. So, I figured I’d give it a try. I ordered the garlic and Galbi pork belly. While I waited for her to make the food, she offered me a free pancake to cook at one of the tables. It was SOOOOO good! I was surprised at how simple yet delicious it was. So I sat there, checking my work email, eating this delicious pancake. Then she brings out the food, which looked equally tasty… I reach in my purse only to find that my WALLET was not there! #embarrasing! I apologized over and over and told her that I would go home to get my wallet and come back to pay. She smiled and said OK, I’ll keep the food here (but I don’t think she believed me). I run out to my car, still embarrassed, put the map in and it says it was going to take me 27 minutes!! Omg… work is out of the question at this point lol. So I finally got home and called her to tell her I was on my way back. Anyway, my food was still there when I got back (almost an hour later *facepalm*). But she was very sweet and gracious about the situation. She thanked me for coming back. I couldn’t just not pay her for her food, plus, what if I want to go back some time! lol Anyway, I’m glad I did because the food was really good. She gave me kimchi with the pork belly and I got a side salad. I’ve had pork belly that was too fatty before, but this one was very meaty and both flavors were excellent. I would definitely go back. Next time WITH my wallet !
