I came here for brunch on a Sunday 3/30 at around 11:30, and it was HORRIBLE. The food was dry and disgusting. There was next to no choices. They call it a buffet, but all they had was an omelette bar, run by a nice kid who’s probably never made an omelette in his life. The line at the omelette bar took around 20 minutes to get through. The “buffet” was two tiny tables crammed together with unlabeled trays with dried bacon & sausage, cold hashbrowns, Green Chile, AND THAT’S IT. They also had a beautiful chateaubriand that was cooked so well-done it wasn’t even edible. Then they had smoked salmon that was truly revolting. The head chef later admitted it was frozen cold-smoked Atlantic salmon and he wasn’t happy with the quality, but he served it anyway. This meal reminded me of a breakfast at a Holiday Inn when you get there right before they clean-up. Not in any way, shape or form worth what they were charging. On top of all this, our waitress was terrible, never checked on us once. I had to tell her to clean off the plates. Then, after we were clearly done, and I made her take all the plates, she never brings me a check. My girlfriend and I sit there waiting for almost 10 minutes, trying to wave her down. Finally, I asked to speak to the manager. She informs me there is no manager or owner there. She proceeds to bring me the young kid from the omelette bar. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a great guy, but not even the head chef. He admits to only being there 2 months. Finally, I tell him I want the head chef. I wait an additional 7-10 minutes for him to arrive at the table, he was a nice guy as well and finally comped the bill. I will never be back. If you want a good brunch, go elsewhere.

Karla’s Beach House – Menu with Prices – 3248 E Ocean View Ave, Norfolk

I loved but my friend had what she considered serious problems with her food. We both agreed the house coffee was great! We had different breakfast meals. She had an omelette with cheddar cheese ( I think) and other meat a vegetables. Her issue was the omelette was over cooked. She described it to the owner as being burnt. I would have described it as well done. She noted that she wanted no under done whites but as is it was unacceptable. The owner sent it back. A few minutes later an omelette returned. My friend checked the omelette carefully. Finally, she opened it and it appeared that they took they turned the omelette inside out. Put the original contents in the new inside and cheese on the outside. Then brought it back. The owner took it off the bill. I agree with my friend that the returned final omelette was the same omelette and the was sneaky. I’m not so certain the first omelette wasn’t done properly.

The Oaks Kitchen and Bar – Menu with Prices – 2100 Cane Island Pkwy Suite B, Katy

We finally made it over to the Elks today for their brunch. Very very disappointing. Out of five orders only one was correct and it came out 15 minutes before the others. Then two more orders came, waited five minutes the fourth order came in finally a couple more minutes later the fifth order came. They made three corrections on the meals and the fourth person just shrugged her shoulders and just said sheâ??d eat it even though it wasnâ??t totally what she ordered. Had to request several times for refills on coffee. They did not serve hot tea on the brunch menu. The waiter although nice seemed very confused and inexperienced when we had so many issues with our meal. We asked for the manager twice and except for adjusting and re-ordering the incorrect orders he just walked off after that. Hope they get their act together as itâ??s close to home and we would like to try it again. The reviews for lunch and dinner seems to be more favorable so maybe brunch is just not their thing.

Golf & Social – Menu with Prices – 1080 N Delaware Ave, Philadelphia

I came here for a brunch for my sister’s graduation in October 2019. It seemed like I was immediately bombarded at the entrance of Golf & Social which was a little worrisome as it was raining outside and I was trying to gather myself. They did not inform my sister at her time of booking that there would be a cover charge of $10 so I was not prepared for that. Thankfully, my sister was and was able to lend me cash. While trying to get her attention for the cash, the bouncer repeated himself over and over “$10 cover” until I finally asked him to hold on a second so I could have my sister hand over the money. We stood around quite a bit when I finally came in but I think that was because we didn’t have a confirmed group size just yet so not their fault. When we did sit, the waitress immediately gave us menus and about 10 minutes later she began taking drink orders. The “bottomless” mimosas were $25 pp, this is not including any food or extras. They did have a nice line up for mimosa flavors such as orange, cranberry, pineapple, etc. then we ordered our food and they handed us a stack of Uno cards to play which was a nice touch. Our food came out maybe 45 minutes later. I ordered the omelette and home fries (posted TOGETHER on the menu) and the omelette turned out to be pretty good. It was literally the size of my head or bigger so it served as my breakfast the next day. Before our 2 hrs were up, we were informed that they ran out of champagne and our endless mimosas were over. A while after we began paying for the meal. This is when I come to realize they’d charged me an extra FOUR dollars for home fries on top of the 11 I paid for the omelette. That was definitely a bit annoying to me but I went with it to not cause anything. There was hookah available if that’s your thing. My sister had a good time. Our waitress was amazing. The music was realllly good. I would go back, I’m just going to make sure I eat beforehand lol.

Terrasse Nelligan – Menu with Prices – 106 Saint-Paul St W, Montreal

We were a table of 5 and sat facing the kitchen and preparation area we see everything that goes on as we wait for our order. We had to wait over an hour for our food. A service- bus boy is in the kitchen area to bring out the plates for clients he touches all the plates and puts crouton type crackers on each of the client plates with his bare fingers. Yes, bare fingers. Moments later he scratches his head with both hands and rubs his hair with the same unwashed hands and proceeds to manipulate more food without utensils. He tastes the cracker pops one in his mouth and then wiped his face with his hand. This happens more than once in a short period of time. Plates of food are sitting on the shelf area for food that is ready and waiting to be brought to the clients it’s getting cold. They are there for a long time, at least 10 minutes this young man is confused he is alone and nothing is moving. He keeps reading the notes on the orders it looks like he does not understand – there is nobody to help him- I loose my appetite. Several of the staff have eaten the French fries, crackers and ham in the same way with their fingers in the service area. This also includes the manager. This is true, and very serious. Seriously? After I told the manager about this he told me this is usual that preparation is done with bare hands. I asked if it is normal to wipe your face and scratch your hair too without any hygiene or gloves when handling food? Now I feel very nauseous as I write this review. It was disgusting, the waiter was a nice guy but could not say or do much, as for the manager he said he’d speak to the busboy- not sure if there was never any coaching before why would there be any now?

Kava Hookah Lounge – Menu with Prices – 1007 W University Ave, Gainesville

Got there around 230iish and it wasnt packed but there were a decent amount of people there. Unfortunately we had to wait almost 45 mins to get a hookah and there wasnt a place to sit! The music was hip hop and rap (mainly trap) so it was deff a turnt up atmosphere. They didnt sell any drinks though ð??© once we finally did manage to get a seat the hookah was almost out and they were about to close. By that time they were finally coming to give us another cole but it kinda was a waste â?â??? just wish they wouldve had more hookas available and more seating space or even a dance floor maybe. Other then that the atmosphere was nice and we enjoyed the music.

Savor Southern Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 3704 Carolina Beach Rd, Wilmington

I had heard great things about this place for brunch and my friend and I could not wait to try it out. We got there it was packed which is always a plus like I say. We got sat down quickly, the host seemed VERY flustered and it showed. There was another couple who walked in shortly after us who didn’t want to sit at the bar so my friend and I asked the host if we could let them sit there and us go sit at the bar. His reaction was rude and he didn’t seem to know what to do but said yes. No server had even greeted us yet so it was a simple switch. We sat at the bar, our server up there was so friendly and attentive. She made a great mimosa too. The menu wasn’t badly priced either especially for the amount given. I liked that they used red potatoes for their home fries, the cheese used in the omelette seemed like it was kraft cheese, not very good at all sort of gooey. And it didn’t have much taste to the omelette. But it overall wasn’t bad. It was a good breakfast, I was super full by the end of it. The restaurant is just really small and there’s a lot of employees in a tight space they look like they’re running into each other, getting flustered and you can easily see it with their attitudes towards one another. Nice brunch spot, I do recommend!

World Cup Cafe and Fair Trade Market – Menu with Prices – 1321 N 15th St, Waco

My wife, brother, and I decided on this place as a result of a high yelp rating score. As far as we are concern the current score is far too high. No greeting, no cheer, waiting tables at half-speed and a kitchen that does not understand how to put out food orders in a timely manner so that it’s not cold when it arrives at the table. Pancakes came up 3 minutes before the eggs and bacon, 2 of 3 plates had the wrong item on them and for my brother the toast arrived with only 2 bites left on his plate. We photo’ed our waitress picking/cleaning her nails at the food window (I’ll add that to your photo gallery). It’s not the first time I’ve received my order after another table receives theirs when I arrive 15 minutes ahead of them. But that does not work for me, period. And a table of 8 that was seated when we walked in didn’t have food after we finished and got up to leave. (They ended up walking out with us) We asked to speak to a manager(ANY manager since the “he’s not here right now” excuse was offered) but nobody had nerve enough to listen to my lecture. So here ya go. It’s sad that you ruined what should have been a relaxing breakfast with ineptitude. I get it, restaurants are hard, but your staff was not trying. The geriatric waitresses at Denny’s can work circles around your staff. The waitresses and cooks all contributed to this review as well as the absent manager. This event happened Saturday about noon June 8. One star is for my omelette that came out hot and delicious, but my family was not pleased with any part of their World Cup breakfast.

Schulte & Herr – Menu with Prices – 349 Cumberland Ave, Portland

This unassuming German restaurant does a great brunch! My in-laws rave about it, and for good reason. Their brunch dishes are tasty, fairly priced, and uniquely German in a town with a lot of other brunch options. I had the sautéed spaetzle with caramelized onions, emmenthal, and chives, which was cheesy and delightful. It’s everything I want in a breakfast carb. My husband and best friend both got the German-style omelette, which was good but didn’t wow them. My best friend’s husband got the potato pancake and lox plate. The portion was on the small side, but the potato pancakes were melt-in-your-mouth and perfectly seasoned. We all agreed they were the best potato pancakes we’ve ever had. The restaurant itself is cute but could benefit from stronger air conditioning in the summer. It was uncomfortably hot when we ate there last year. The owners were very nice though, and we’d happily come back for another brunch.

The Majestic Menu with Prices 911 King St, Alexandria

Well I made it to the Majestic. I’ve been meaning to get here forever and for some reason never made it. Finally here and I’m so happy we Made it !!!!! The Majestic is located on King Street in Old Town Alexandria Virginia. It’s a classy, nice and fun American restaurant. We were there for the Saturday brunch. First of all the brunch concept is great it gives you a kinda respectable way to drink alcohol in the morning. Speaking of alcohol we got the Majestic Mimosa Flight and let me tell you these are the best we’ve ever had. My favorite was the passion fruit, elderflower and my wife’s favorite the lavender, honey. Of course I had to have a beer as well. So, this started our dining experience perfectly. It was a beautiful day we we decided to eat outside, they don’t have a lot of outside eating and we felt lucky to get a table. Our waiter was fantastic, you could tell he enjoyed his job and he took good care of us throughout our meal. I was in my burger mood so I ordered the Majestic Burger and my wife the Prime Rib Omelette. The food came out pretty quickly and my burger was incredible, yummy, tasty, happy and delicious. While the Tun Tavern in the Marine Corp Museum is still my favorite burger of all time, the Majestic Burger zoomed into 2nd place among my favorite burgers. My wife sampled it and loved it too. Now the Prime Rib Omelette, it’s huge, it’s loaded with prime rib, it’s also happy, delicious and tasty. I sampled it and it’s a winner for sure. So, let me sum it up for you, I believe this is one of the best restaurants in Northern Virginia, trust me on this. It was a great atmosphere, incredible food, supreme service and the best Mimosas on the planet. Where it’s brunch, lunch or dinner you can’t go wrong here.

Karnak Cafe – Menu with Prices – 236 Queen St S, Mississauga

I ordered Kiwi paan and when I starting smoking it, I could taste nothing but paan. When I told the so called “manager”, he said paan is an overpowering flavour and this is how its suppose to taste. My friend got blueberry paan vanilla and both the shishas tasted the exact same. When we told him this and asked him to try my friends shisha, before taking a proper puff he started coughing cause the paan flavour was so over powering. I asked him to do a head change or anything else he could do and he said the shisha has already been smoked (he smoked more of the shisha starting it than I did) and a head change would be another $15 (price of a regular shisha) which is usually $7 at other lounges. I asked him if there was anything else he could do cause I wasn’t gonna smoke paan and he said no. Terrible customer service and shishas!

Chutzpah Deli – Menu with Prices – 12214 Fairfax Towne Center, Fairfax

We were very excited to try this deli because of the advertisement of the authenticity of it being a true NY deli. The waitress we had was courteous and was aware that we were going through some papers and she gave us the time and was respectful. Starting with the bagels which they state are shipped in from New York did not taste like New York bagels in fact they were actually not very good. I got the vegetarian omelette and I’ve never had an omelette that tasted sweet almost like they added sugar to it. It was a very thin omelette loaded with onions and had three big pieces of fresh mushroom . I wish it had more vegetables in it then what it had and the omelette was paperthin and I prefer a little more thicker egg casing. My father had the pastrami which looked excellent but did not include a pickle or coleslaw. The waitress told us they do serve that with sandwiches but since it was breakfast they did not. She was nice enough to go and get it. The lox and cream cheese was just OK but my mother did not really care for the bagel as nor did my uncle or aunt on theirs. My aunt asked for her eggs to be scrambled soft they came out hard cold and not very appetizing. Overall we were disappointed and the only reason why I’m not giving it one star rather 3 is because the customer service
