The best gemstones boutique here in Orange County. I spent almost 6 months finding a Gold Rutilated Quartz bracelet/necklace or simply anything with that specific type of gem. Most of the gem stores in OC and LA either don’t carry that or just have bad designs. So glad I found Hebes by Chloe. They have the best 3-in-1 combo: high quality gems + unique design + very reasonable price. They cary a lot of hard-to-find gems. Compare to all of the gem stores I went to, I didn’t have to think twice before purchasing their products. The customer service here is outstanding. Both the owner and her sister were welcoming. They made me feel so comfortable there. Most of the designs are from the owner, Chloe herself so it was fun chatting with her about that process. Within 2 days, I brought home: 6 bracelets + 1 ring + 1 pair of earrings + 2 aromatherapy necklaces. The longer you stay in the store, the more you fall in love with their designs. Also the packaging is beautiful and classy. Highly recommend! Check out their stores website or Facebook also. The pictures and products are exact matched so you can buy with much confidence. Actually the products look prettier in person since the clarity and the patterns of the gems are hard to see through pictures

Chloe Beauty – Menu with Prices – 1750 S Rainbow Blvd Suite 15, Las Vegas

I was in desperate need of a pedi before my trip to Seattle & recently moved, so I needed to find a place that could squeeze me in. Luckily Chloe beauty was very accommodating with getting me in. The owner is from Korea and she’s super sweet. This nail salon isn’t like the typical one you would find in Vegas. It’s very small & intimate. There’s only one chair & one desk for you to get a mani & pedi. I ended up getting a gel pedicure & she really took her time to make sure it was perfect. I usually go for a plain, flat, white but she suggested to do a pearl-ish chrome overlay which I loved! As she was doing my pedicure I was looking at all the designs that she does from both nails & feet. They’re really intricate & very korean/japanese style which I absolutely love. Some nail places do too much but I think her designs are very subtle but stand out. I’m going to go back to get a gel manicure with designs, so I’ll update my review afterwards. So far this salon is a great place to get your nails done if you want simple, cute, & done properly. They offer other services such as waxing & lashes, which they’re offering as a new business special. Overall, if you want to experience & a more one-on-one nail service, I’d highly recommend this place. I’d highly suggest making an appointment just to ensure you avoid a wait if she’s working on another customer ?

Strey Designs – Menu with Prices – 1500 Jackson St NE, Minneapolis

I have absolutely loved every single thing I have purchased from Strey Designs – and every experience with Sarah (owner/founder/maker etc.) has been fantastic. I first found Strey Designs at an art show almost 2 years ago and splurged on one of her Ragamuffin backpacks – and I have used it nearly every day since and it looks even more amazing than the day I got it as the leather has become softer and developed even more character. Since my first purchase – I have become a frequent visitor to Strey Designs studio at Northrup King Building. I worked with Strey on designing a custom bag (picking out my specific leathers/fabric/strap combos) and it was so fun to visit the studio. Through visiting the studio Sarah explained her design and manufacturing process, helped me understand how the various leathers will age, leather care, how to use all of the adaptable straps many of her bags offer and I was able to really witness the immense passion she has for her product. My Strey Designs collection is constantly growing – as I’ve now purchased 3 backpacks, a wallet and a few other accessories. I constantly get compliments from strangers and friends asking me about my bags. This company has amazing design and unbelievable quality – 150% would recommend any of their products!

Cake Designs makes the most AMAZING cakes! I have been ordering all of our family birthday cakes from Cake Designs for over 15 years and my experience has been terrific every single time. Whatever theme or design I have asked for, Cake Designs has always come through with a gorgeous cake. The cake artists at Cake Designs are true artists. The cakes they create are absolutely beautiful works of art. At every birthday party, people always ask where the cake came from, because it’s always outstanding! And the Cake Designs cakes are scrumptious. They are so moist and light that we always order a cake that is way too big for the number of people we plan to serve, just so we can keep eating the yummy Cake Designs cake for days to come!!!! The staff at Cake Designs is friendly, helpful and efficient. The cakes we have ordered have always been ready exactly when we asked for them to be ready. And Cake Designs is such a clean environment. They have albums and albums of photos of cakes they have made for every occasion imaginable. It’s fun just to flip through the albums to see the gorgeous cakes they’ve made in the past – it’s great inspiration for your current cake order. Cake Designs is amazing and I highly recommend them for your cake needs!

Vien Dong Seafood Market – Menu with Prices – 2345 W 1st St, Santa Ana

So I love Seafood. Its the best thing there is! This place a hole in the wall. They carry fresh Seafood. Their shrimp is amazing and has no after taste. I have had shrimp from the grocery stores and they taste so fake and nasty. But this place does it all justice. I no longer get seafood from grocery stores. I rather pay a decent price for fresher products. So I am super stoked that my mom brought this place to my attention.

Brass Ring Brewing – Menu with Prices – 2404 Eastern Ave SE, Grand Rapids

We called Brass Ring Brewing to ask if they could accommodate a party of 10. The man on the phone introduced himself as Chris, the owner, and stated, “we would love to have your party of 10 come here.” So, after receiving a warm welcome on the phone, we proceeded to the Brass Ring. We were not disappointed. While the menu is small, it had enough of a variety to fit our needs, including a kids menu. I had the pulled chicken BBQ that was delicious. The rest of my party was also very pleased with the food and drinks. I had the Irish Stout, a smooth chocolatey, coffee stout that was quite tasty. We had great service and Chris, the owner, made a point of coming over and giving us a personal welcome to the Brass Ring. The next time I go to Grand Rapids this brewery will be on my list of places to visit.

Laura K Moore Photography – Menu with Prices – 9525 E Old Spanish Trail #113, Tucson

Picking out a wedding photographer was one of the hardest parts of planning our wedding. I remember browsing through different websites and not finding something that really stood out to me. That was until I found Laura K Moore’s website. I was blown away with how her pictures were simply perfection. I then called my older sister who is also a photographer herself and she too fell in love. Laura is a visionary; she told our story with such finesse and ease. She made my husband feel comfortable with getting his picture take and let me tell you that is not an easy task. My husband hates getting his picture taken but looking at my wedding photos you would not be able to tell that one bit. We had a large bridal party and she was able to capture moments with all of them which I will cherish forever. She even took pictures of my great grandma and all her great grand kids; which brings me to my favorite part of Laura and her team, they were not just taking pictures for me, they were taking pictures for my whole family. What I loved most about working with Laura is she knew what types of pictures to take without my husband or I having to ask her. Some of my favorite pictures where of all of the groomsmen and my husband getting ready; the moments that I did not get to physically be in, Laura’s pictures made me feel like I was there and getting to witness all of the crazy shenanigans. Her photo team was also a huge highlight to the day; I never got to meet them prior but that did not matter because they fit right in and worked so well with our big crazy family. One of the best and most fun moments for me was when we (my husband and I) got to take sparkler photos; we had Gavin, one of the coolest photographer assistants ever, running around us with a sparkler making crazy shapes. That moment was full of giggles and fun, but it turned out to be my most favorite picture from the night. I would recommend Laura K Moore over and over again. She is worth every penny and more because she does not just take pictures; she tells a story and not just your generic wedding day story but your very own love story. She does everything she can to make you feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire day. She is also very flexible with time, we asked for two more hours of her time when she was ready to leave for the night and she stayed. Not only did she stay later, she also go her dance on with us which made her presence even more enjoyable.

My Cottage Garden – Menu with Prices – 327 N Kentucky Ave, Lakeland

My new, all time favorite place. One of the best hidden gems of Lakeland – maybe even in all of Florida. The atmosphere is unique and absolutely sweet. The teas rank in high caliber. The selection of loose leafs is grand. Prices are even more amazing, especially for the quality. The owner is the sweetest, you will not regret a visit. The quality of the tea, shop and products don’t even compare to the quality of the owner herself. She is the best. The hours are specific – but you are able to book appointments for parties or simply grabbing a cup of tea + freshly made scones with a friend if you call a day ahead. This gem also has 2 cute tabby cats the come in and out, adorable. There is genuine passion that drives this place. Must check it out. * Does have parking lot

Made coffee – Menu with Prices – 107 W Amerige Ave, Fullerton

This is one of my favorite study spots. The owner and workers are all very friendly, and I always receive top quality coffee, specialty drinks, and pastries! Single Origin Pour Over ———————– Usually I order Cappuccinos, but they do the pour over so well here! I forgot what beans I picked, but to be honest, I have not had a bad pour over from here. If you love quality black coffee, I recommend getting yourself one! Coffee Cake ———— The pastries seem to look and taste similar to the ones at Intentional Coffee, and I mean this in a good way! The owner told me that they receive the pastries from a bakery, and they sure are tasty! This Coffee Cake has just the right amount of sweetness to pair with the Pour Over. Deliciousness that is perfect for a pick-me-up! ————- This coffee shop hasn’t been around for very long, but I highly recommend coming here if you have not already! A note for those who plan to come here to study: {PROS} – Good Wi-Fi (I personally never had a problem with connection or speed.) {CONS} – Limited Outlets – Except for the big table in the middle, not very comfortable seating – Bathroom is in another building next door, but access key is provided. Although it may seem like a lot of Cons vs. Pros, I mainly come here for the products, the service, and the ambience, so I do not mind tolerating these Cons!

Buttercup by Haru – Menu with Prices – 2701 E Chapman Ave ste 202B, Fullerton

Buttercup by Haru is the new nail shop in Fullerton. While I normally don’t like to be bothered with writing reviews, Haru’s beautiful work and her cozy, aesthetic, welcoming space definitely deserves to be recognized and you guys deserve to hear about it after my years of leeching off of other Yelp reviews. So here I am and here it is- First off, Buttercup by Haru is a one-person establishment. That means the owner, Haru, is the one who will be working with you, anytime you’re there. That means consistency in quality of work and design. She’s also really sweet and genuinely cares about her clients. Communication with her through text from making the appt to actually getting nails done has been a smooth sail. Haru is both very talented and flexible with her designs. I’ve seen her design everything from cactus to KakaoTalk characters. But personally, what I truly appreciate is her ability to anchor down the stones and gems on the nails so they’ll probably grow out before they fall out if you gave it enough time. She also carries myriad of different stones, gems, and crystals to make your desired design come to life. I tend to opt for gel and she uses Presto Gel Polish, which is a Japan brand and easily one of the best gel polish brands out there in terms of color and durability. Her regular polishes are also strictly from designers like YSL, Chanel, and my personal favorite- Tom Ford. Buttercup is a charming little nail shop, in terms of both the experience and space. Haru definitely much attention to her interior from the espresso machine to the candles and it does not go unnoticed. The experience of being in such a personalized space with much privacy and 1:1 attention is definitely something that sets Buttercup apart from others.

Parker’s Hot Dogs of Santa Cruz – Menu with Prices – 1605A Douglas Blvd, Roseville

We visited Roseville CA from Portland OR on July 10th 2019 and were so impressed with the delicious hotdogs and great service at Parkerâ??s that we came back the next day to have lunch again before we left. The first day the young man working the counter went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and even brought me a lid to my cup after overhearing me say I was going to grab one. The next day a different man working who I assume was the owner actually removed a bar seat and brought out a regular chair from the back to accommodate an elderly man in a wheelchair. Then to top off our great trip, he brought out 2 ring pops for our daughters. With service like that I can see why so many people love this place and if we are ever back in the area we will be back! Great job Parkerâ??s Hot dogs of Santa Cruz you guys are doing it right!

Honey Sliced Ham – Menu with Prices – 1321 Guerneville Rd, Santa Rosa

I went to honey sliced ham nearly every week for the past few months. I always order the same sandwich and they have always gotten it right except for 1 time. It’s a really good sandwich and since I’m pregnant I’m very specific with what I want. Today there was 1 sandwich maker and the owner present. The owner rang someone up and took cash, then after the transaction she touched the top of my bread that was in the toaster to see if it was hot. I started to say “uhhh” and then asked if she could ring me up because I didn’t want her touching my food with filthy hands. After she rung me up she went to the back so I asked the other sandwich maker to finish my sandwich since the owner just handled cash and touched my food without washing her hands. Also, this sandwich maker has helped me many, many times in the past and the way she makes it is perfect. The owner came back out from the back and proceeded to make my sandwich. The other sandwich maker CLEARLY told her that I had asked her to finish my sandwich. The owner said “I just washed my hands” and continued to make my sandwich despite being told I wanted someone else to do it. Plus, there was another customer waiting that she kept waiting to finish my sandwich. I am very unsatisfied and debating whether or not to eat the sandwich since I don’t know if she actually washed her hands or not, or even used soap. It’s hard as a customer to watch an owner MICROMANAGE her employees. When you hire someone, LET THEM DO THEIR JOB. I’ve witnessed many times that only the owner will ring people up even when there’s 6 people in line, extra sandwich makers, and the owner is in the back. It makes me think she doesn’t trust anyone to handle money or let them ring people up. I will not be back and here’s a photo of my sandwich. I had to chop off the sides because I don’t know which side she touched with dirty hands!

Kim?s Grill Teriyaki (Safeway Mall) – Menu with Prices – 2702 NE 114th Ave, Vancouver

Absolute waste of time and money!! What they advertise on the site for price and product DOESN’T remotely come close to what is actually given to you! Ughh! Although polite, the owner “Kim,” was unable to provide a 2-Go menu because they were in the process of revamping the prices on all their already expensive menu items.. irritated! I read other reviews about this place being waaay to expensive for the quantity of food you get..and I concur.. My order was simple.. “pot-stickers” basically and not only did they NOT resemble any pictures of their homemade ones off their menu board.. uhh they were the ones that came out of a bag! Freakn really!? Why do restaurants feel the need and urgency to cut corners on their products/menu items and no longer care to take the time..energy and effort anymore to continue putting out the products/foods they did when they originated their business..wtf!? Highly disappointed in Kim’s and I bid everyone to take a look around as other patrons are served their food and ask.. is a single serve plate really worth the $9-$11 she is charging… Nah.. take your money elsewhere. ..Good teriyaki does exist.. probably across the bridge .. Portland here we come! KEEP YELPING! CHEERS~
