Greenhouse Cafe is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Euclid. So tucked away that you may even miss it while driving by, so keep your eyes open. Parking: You’ll notice a one-way driveway to enter, but I highly recommend going the back way (near the Carl’s Jr) and coming through the alley to get to the small parking lot to avoid getting stuck. Atmosphere: Nothing fancy, but very homey. I love the cute little “socks” on the bottom of the tables to prevent the wood scratching! There is a side room that’s always roped off as ‘reserved’ when I’m there for lunch; perhaps it’s rentable or used for activities after they close. After our lunch, we worked on our laptops quietly and didn’t have any issues. I didn’t see any plug points, but I may have missed them. Just come with a full charge! SERVICE: I’ve only had one young man serve us each time we’ve been there. In fact, I’ve never seen another employee before! But he is thorough, kind, and gives great recommendations. I heard another table mention an MSG allergy, and he was able to help them choose a meal accordingly. Woo hoo. He brought the bill to our table, along with an iPad to process. Typically, I have just gone to the front to pay at the counter. FOOD: Here’s where we get to the good stuff. There are so many great lunch options, from salads to sandwiches to paninis. I always leave there feeling the exact amount of satisfied; never hungry, and never overstuffed. Their broccoli cheddar soup is a bit thicker than other places and just so creamy (and dreamy). Seriously, I can’t recommend it enough! They used to have a Thanksgiving-esque sandwich with turkey, potatoes, and cranberries that was to die for, but it’s no longer on the menu, sadly. However, I’ve since tried the salmon wrap; a thick flat bread, lettuce, tomatoes, cream cheese, salmon, capers (ick, but we’ll let that slide). It was like a lox bagel, reinvented. I want to recreate it at home, but everyone knows things are tastier when made with love, by someone else. The prices are a tiny bit higher than normal sandwich joints, but since it’s a sit-down service and the ingredients are high quality, it’s worth it! DRINKS: I typically get water, but I ended my meal with an iced chai latte. It was creamy, not too spicy, and gave a great boost to my day. I’d definitely get it again. OVERALL: This place rocks, and is one of Fullerton’s hidden gems. Don’t be dissuaded by the outside chaos of the street, and do yourself a favor to stop in for a tasty lunch.

Telliniâ??s – Menu with Prices – 1515 Perimeter Pkwy NW, Huntsville

I typically love tellini’s however, this last visit made me very skeptical. They got my order completely wrong. When I brought their attention to the situation the manager came to the window, she asked what the problem was and I proceeded to tell her everything wrong with my order. She had a very rude tone and manner, as she asked for my entire order back so she could check it. She “informed” me i was wrong that was the correct order. I was missing one meal completely, I ordered chili which she said they didnt even have that night. So I fed up with the situation, just gave up and left. I really wish they would get in better staff!! Because I’m extremely upset. Like I said TYPICALLY I LOVE THEM!

Jack’s Bar-B-Q – Menu with Prices – 1301 N Market St, Shreveport

I had high hopes for Jackâ??s. I went for lunch during the week. The parking lot was full which further increased my excitement at hopefully finding an amazing local restaurant. I was sadly disappointed. I ordered a brisket sandwich and added the combo deal including 2 sides and a drink. They told me they were out of brisket then decided to look in the back for more. They found some and gave me my sandwich. It was a bunch of fat with very little meat. It actually nauseated me looking at it. There was almost no flavor to the sandwich, the sides nor the sauce. I am not sure now why so many people love it. I will not be back.

Rustic Eatery – Menu with Prices – 25343 Wayne Mills Pl, Valencia

Originally I started going to this place because it is near my office but I find that I really like the food! I don’t go very often, only if a friend is coming to meet me for lunch. Remember one time I met my husband for lunch there and the shrimp on his dish were humongous! Properly cooked with perfect little grill marks. Everything here seems to be grilled, and makes me think that I’m eating very healthy. I will have a vegetable bowl usually with salmon or their side salad with salmon, the shrimp is my third choice just because I love salmon! I pretty much recommend anything here and have tried most everything including the beef. Oh and for a great closer to my article, their homemade iced tea is wonderful!

Boxwood Kitchen & Supper Club Menu with Prices behind Jimmy John’s, 330 SW Powerhouse Dr Building C, Suite 150, Bend

It took us a bit of time to find the cafe, it is hidden behind the main area of Old Mill, it is tucked in behind Jimmy John’s sandwich shop, but worth discovering. We sat inside, but they do have a few patio seats. Mr. B started with an old fashioned made with chai which is interesting, and it was quite good. He ordered the meatballs in a spicy sauce served over polenta. The sauce is not overly spicy, but has a nice level of heat to it and the polenta was creamy and very good. I opted for the housemade Spatzle mac and cheese. You don’t typically find Spatzle in restaurants other than German and they were tender and had a nice flavor to them. The cheese sauce was rich and creamy, the perfect comfort food and the dish was topped with toasted, seasoned breadcrumbs which added a nice crunchy texture to the dish.We were very happy with our drinks and our meal.

Akaya Sushi, Izakaya & Ramen – Menu with Prices – 1310 W Campbell Rd #114, Richardson

My husband and I go here every other week. We absolutely love this place. The lunch special between 11-3pm is quite a bank for your buck. I typically always get the bento box special which comes with rice, the meat entree, 5 pieces of sushi, 2 pieces of gyoza, soup, and salad. Additionally, you get free edamame as well. When my husband and I don’t come here for lunch, we typically order one of the speciality sushi rolls available. All the ones we have ordered (which is about 8-10), I personally recommend the ahi tower!! I don’t know what it’s made of, but it’s absolutely amazing. It tastes real good. 10/10 recommend. I highly recommend this restaurant. I never ever review on Yelp, but Akaya definitely deserves to get recognized for their good food!

Central Fish Market – Menu with Prices – 401 Central Ave #2802, Jersey City

This is a great little local gem if you want some casual home cooked seafood. They have a huge menu of cooked food options, I actually didnt see any fish for sale. So I chose the fried combo seafood platter ($10) and broiled salmon with salad and rice. The portions were HUGE and delicious. The 2 ladies who were cooking were VERY nice. Literally it is like mom’s home cooking. The ambiance is very casual lile any fish market establishment. There is table seating there and soft drinks available for purchase. They will serve you at the table if you dine in. Overal a great CASUAL spot for a great seafood meal. I may recommend takout if you want ambiance, it’s not fancy, but the food is more than worth the trip.

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar – Menu with Prices – 11560 Fourth St, Rancho Cucamonga

I love everything about this restaurant and all its locations that I hav been to. First of all they are dog lovers – which I do too!!!! The restaurant is authentic is their trademark and all its charm. You can call your name in ahead of time on most busy times like your Friday date night. Came here on Sunday to have lunch and watch some football. There was a 15 minute wait for a table but my husband is alway great at scoping the bar area for a high table. Guess what – Success… Table was cleaned off quickly and got a drink order in. My opted for a lemonade, thyme, & cucumber drink and it was VERY tasty. My hubby ordered a LD double mango brew as it was delicious. We order some buffalo cauliflower appetizer – again DELICIOUS. Nothing was left on the plate except a few bleu cheese crumbs. Lunch order included squash soup & grilled cheese sandwich with Cajun fries. Their soups are mostly homemade daily. They have a new feature on the menu too – Don’t miss out on this one… Candied bacon!!!! I added this on to my grilled cheese and it was a nice extra to have. I had the other half of my sandwich on Monday and the bacon was even more distinguished & tasteful. Service is alway very tentative & helpful. I would recommend this restaurant for any type of occasion or just to stop and watch a game & have a drink!

Umbrellas 1296 – Menu with Prices – 1296 1st St, Sarasota

Arrived and waited at the bar for my 4 friends.. Ordered a martini and had to listen to an argument with the bartender and another staff member right infront of us.. Not classy at all.. Happy hour prices were very good and drinks were excellant.. I was told twice by a staff member that we would have the window seat table.. We just needed our drinks and we turned around and they had seated a 2 some right where we were suppose to sit.. So they stuck us back in a corner.. Not right.. Our waiter was nice and attentive.. Most of us ordered a salad with salmon.. The waiter left with our orders….then came back a few minutes later and said that they didnt have any salmon.. The chef had not told him they didnt have salmon.. Poor planning!. 4 of us had to switch to something else.. I switched to the short rib with polenta…..only to be told later that there’s no polenta and i would have mash potatoes.. The short rib came….looked very nice however it was cold inside.. My other friends added shrimp to their chopped salad entree.. They felt it was subpar in taste.. One girlfriend order scallops and she enjoyed her dish.. There was not good organization with the chef informing the staff on food on the menu. The chef needs to improve on the quality and temperature of the food he/she serves.. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Maikel’s Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 3864 W Waters Ave, Tampa

I’m sorry but the only reason I have to give this restaurant one star is because they cannot cook salmon. I will agree with other posters that the menu is very confusing. It does not State whether sides come with it and there is no pricing on the sides. My friend ordered the Tostones Rellenos with shrimp and they were oily, soggy and topped with cheese and marinara instead of a chimichurri sauce liking other establishments. Nowhere on the menu didn’t mention that the dish was going to have cheese added to it. That’s not good business practices when someone could possibly have dairy food allergy. It’s almost like they incorrectly cook the tostones and added cheese to cover it up. My sister and I share the meal for two salmon. The first time the salmon came to the table the outside was gorgeous but the inside was raw. We alerted the server Shea and she apologized and took it back to the kitchen. she came back to the table and said that the salmon will be done in 3 minutes which kind of seems impossible. She brought the salmon over and it was seeping with oil. We sliced into the middle of the salmon and it was still fleshy in the middle instead of flaky. At this point we did not want to keep trying with the salmon so we advise we would just pay for the side dishes. We were charged $17.36 4 two servings of rice and two orders of sweet plantains along with the Sierra mist that we ordered. that seems ridiculous when one order of sweet plantains and yellow rice came with the meal. If it is a shared meal for two it really honestly should include two servings of the sides meaning one for each person. this was their soft open so until they get this right I definitely will not be back. Please take fair warning. what brought us in was the sign outside that said Monday was all you can eat crab day. Where we got in the restaurant they told us that it was going to be $45. the price should definitely be posted outside because you’re bringing people in under false pretenses.

The Porch at ETX – Menu with Prices – 221 S Broadway Ave, Tyler

The ETX Sampler with Wisconsin cheese curds, fried green beans and fried onion/jalapenos is AMAZING. I’m extremely picky but I could eat nothing but the fried green beans and be happy – they are better than any I’ve ever had ANYWHERE. I ordered a burger with bacon, which was amazing but a bit “rare” for my liking. I’m not knocking them for that though because my fiance ordered for me and who knows how he told them to cook it. (Disclaimer, I’m a well-done burger person). We also ordered two kid meals – they both got mac & cheese with fries. This isn’t Kraft mac & cheese – if it isn’t homemade, they disguise it WELL. It’s super creamy and a really great sized portion (my three year old couldn’t finish hers, my eight year old did but said she was FULL). The coolest part of the kids meal is that, instead of a tray, they serve it on an upside down Frisbee. The girls didn’t realize this and were tickled to find out their “surprise”. A few general notes — there is a free parking garage just a few blocks down from the restaurant, as well as some street parking but we had to walk a little ways (nothing to complain about, but just trying to be thorough with my review!). The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the menu, and when I needed to make some dietary substitutions, they had great suggestions. When eating out as a family of four, we typically try to be thrifty – this was definitely a “splurge” meal for us. Two burgers, two kid meals and four drinks cost $60. However, the food was great, the atmosphere is awesome, and we had an awesome night out. We will definitely be eating here again, if not just for the fried green beans!

TABLE No. 2 Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 18925 Livernois, Detroit

Okay, I made a mistake, I waited to long to try this restaurant out, lol. First, parking was a letdown due to the construction and not having a dedicated parking structure. So, you either park on the side, close to residential area or if you’re lucky , you’re find some street parking not to far. The outside of the restaurant, not that appealing, just typical older building appearance. Step inside, fleshly sevorated. Very elegantly decorated decor. Tables were all beautifully prepared, you could tell , an eye to detail was used during preparation. We were immediately greeted upon entering, and led to our table. We were given a choice of booth or table. We didn’t have to ask for water , ice cold water was already waiting on us. Our waitress was great. She explained the menu and the construction special beautifully and yes she told us her name, I just forgot, lol. Our waitress was very friendly and made us feel welcome. I admit when I entered and noticed that the staff was relatively on the young side , I did expect some goofing off and loud talking. However , quite the contrary, very professional, well organized and attentive staff. I swear , it was the best delivery of service , I have had in a long time. I can’t say enough about how great and attentive the staff was, and I’m hard to please. We ordered the construction special, which is 2 entrees for $30. With this special you were given the choice of barbecue salmon or chicken. We had the barbecue salmon and smash potatoes. The Mac and lobster is a fav, so we also ordered a side of Mac and lobster. The salmon and potatoes were delicious. Perfectly cooked salmon, not dry. Paired with delicious smash potatoes. The lobster Mac &cheese was to die for , although I probably could have used some seasoning in mine. Although I do understand, when preparing these types of meals it not smart not to season , to keep the meals appealing to all. The only downside, not selling alcohol. I would have loved a nice glass of wine with my meal.
