I work in the restaurant business and understand the frustration of a customer coming in at the last 5-10 minutes before close, but this has been the third time that I have come before 9:30 and the store is closed. First time being that the open sign was on and the employee stated that they were closed, when I replayed â??itâ??s on 9:03 the door says yâ??all close at 10â? the only response I got from him was â??yeah well sorry we are closedâ? Second time the open sign was on again and I came at 8:40 just to be safe only to find the doors were lock on a Tuesday. I rushed so much to get out of work early so I could get some food only to be disappointed in locked doors. And today even as I post this it still isnâ??t 10 yet but I was over there at 9:20 and the employees stated they were closed. I know it would be better if I came during the day but I normally work all day, 10am-8pm.

Prontofresh – Menu with Prices – 131 E Water St, Syracuse

Rushed over to this place on my lunch break. After reading the reviews of how good this place is I was really craving a healthy alternative to the mall food court choices. After trying both doors they seemed to be locked and after walking around the building to the back a guy comes out Iâ??m assuming the manager and said he closes early whenever he feels like it, today he closed at 3. It was 4pm when we arrived and google said they close at 5. If a business is going to operate on flexible hours they should update it on google or put a sign out saying theyâ??re closed so customers donâ??t waste their time trying to give them their business. Bad business decision and an inconvenience! We were so excited to try this little place out but my advice? Go early!

The Mug Shakes – Menu with Prices – 12434 N Mainstreet, Rancho Cucamonga

Worst customer service experience I’ve had, and I never even made it inside. Heard about this place through a promotion they were advertising on my local news station for Halloween and decided I would check it out. Drove all the way out there only to find that they had closed an hour early. Business hours posted indicated they would be open from 10-8. When we got there at 7 the doors were locked and they had already started to clean up for the night. Nothing on their website indicated that they would be closing early for Halloween and there was no posting on the doors offering an explanation as to why they had closed early. We tried to get the workers attention to ask why they had closed early but they just simply went about their business and acted like we weren’t there. Very unprofessional.

Thai Thai House Suntree – Menu with Prices – 6977 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne

Growing up as a child with parents that owned a restaurant, I understand the difficulty of having to do so while trying to take care of a family. Considering this, I still give 2 stars for my experience. Their sign outside stated that they were open, and online hours all depicted that they closed at 10:00pm. When I arrived, their menu also stated that they closed at 10:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays. I visited this location on a Friday evening, arriving just before 9:00pm. When we came in, we saw that the place was empty and their sushi bar was closed (we later learned that it was permanently closed). Seeing this, we kindly asked if they were still open as it was only 9:00pm. The hostess laughed and said “probably not” as she went into the kitchen to ask the chef and staff. She returned and said “it’s fine, we are open”. So we sat down to order. A chef also poked around the corner of the kitchen to look at us, and then she started to angrily speak in another language, as if she was angry at us. My husband and I felt uncomfortable (and we felt bad!) so we decided to order our food to go instead of dining in. The hostess seemed really appreciative of that gesture as the chef was clearly upset that customers were present. Honestly I felt bad, but I also think it was reasonable that we were hoping to eat over an hour before their set closing time… on a Friday… regardless, it didn’t seem to jive well with their staff. Got our food and left. The hostess followed us out to lock the door. Food was fine. I just didn’t appreciate being treated that way, but I felt more sorry than upset. Just rated them truthfully.

Machu Picchu Peruvian Grill – Menu with Prices – 7007 Bandera Rd, San Antonio

My son and I have tried to eat here three times, only to find it closed. The first two times were our fault. We hadn’t checked to see the hours, and showed up on a Monday when it was supposed to be closed. The second time, we planned to go for lunch. I made sure they were open that day, but didn’t pay attention to the times. Then we ended up switching to a dinner time meal. When we got there, we learned that it closed at 4:00 on Sundays. I know… My mistake. Today we covered all the bases. I checked and double checked to make sure it would be open when we arrived at 2:00 PM for lunch on a Tuesday. As we pulled up, we could see that it was dark inside. Then we saw the closed sign hanging in the window. I looked on the door to check the hours, and it should have been open today. Did it go out of business? I don’t know. Did they have a personal emergency that forced them to close down today? I don’t know. Will I give it a fourth attempt? I honestly just don’t know.

Subway Restaurants – Menu with Prices – 7137 N Michigan Rd, 522301 Westlane Shopping Center Store 9 Bldg Unit, Indianapolis

Pulled into the parking lot about 845 got my kids out the car and to the door about 850. doors locked. only to see some Hispanic or Asian looking guy just saying ?No? when the website clearly states 9pm. What kind of business are you running? Will definitely be calling corporate in the morning. If you?re going to close early post it on the website!!! Don?t go to this location, no integrity.

Empire Outlets – Menu with Prices – 55 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island

On a whim, I decided to stop by here over the weekend, knowing that only a third of the stores were open but the views were nice. I used to be in this area enough to know that there’s some unsavory characters right outside the ferry. That hasn’t changed, so be alert and be aware. There’s numerous exits to get out of the ferry area, just keep right and you’ll eventually see the outlets. There were maybe a handful of stores open. There were no food places that were open here, only a mini cart that sold dessert crepes. Whoever thought it was a good idea to open this outlet when there was barely anything open, was out of their mind. Also, it shows it was rushed if you looked at the uneven floors, the stairs. The workers roaming around to answer questions were incredibly nice, but even they didn’t know when certain stores would be open as the dates kept being pushed back. This Nike factory outlet has the most amount of inexpensive sneakers, but the styles didn’t deserve another look from me. Maybe the only bathroom that is available, is located behind the central stairs inside a set of doors that is under construction. If you’re a woman, do not go alone because there’s another set of doors inside there, that isn’t locked and this space is not patrolled.

Two Boys Donuts Menu with Prices 6400 Holly Ave NE Suite H, Albuquerque

Whether the donuts are good or not, that is something that I will never know and now don’t even care to know. It seems you only care to serve people that can go in the mornings and those of us that work until the late afternoon do not matter at all. I need multiple hands to be able to count how many times I have gone by there in the afternoon after work only to find a SOLD OUT sign on the door and the place closed. If I recall, that was even the case on the day of your grand opening. The one time you were open when I was there a couple hours before close, there was just a few donuts to choose from. Lousy business etiquette!!! There is no donut shop or a bakery that closes early constantly because they run out. You have been open long enough to know what kind of supply you have and yet you continue to only make enough to get you through what appears to be the time you would rather work to until the time your hours indicate you actually close. Every donut places continues to make donuts and keep a supply so there are always donuts available. You have lost my business as well as friends and family and those that I work with before we have even had an opportunity to taste one. Closing early because you have sold out is acceptable once or even twice considering you are new but it seems to have become a regular several times a week pattern and that is not a good message to give to potential or even existing customers. People will eventually stop coming all together because they will just start thinking “why bother, they will probably just be sold out”. I will continue to get my donuts at Amy’s who ALWAYS have a supply of donuts and who ALWAYS have a supply for those of us that can only go after work.

New Mill Tap – Menu with Prices – 6935 11th St # 16, Rockford

New Mill Tap was an experience I shall not want to repeat. I was in the area and decided to stop in here with my friend for a beer one afternoon. We walked into a large room that was extremely dark. It was so dark that I thought they were closed and had forgotten to lock the front doors. There is a bar that extends across the back wall with two U shaped additions on each end. What lights were on were only over the pool table and the portion of the bar that was furthest from the door. There were a handful of customers sitting in there. As we made our way to the bar, everyone just watched us. No one was talking or said anything. We took a seat and the bartender gruffly asked us what we wanted. We each ordered a beer. At that point someone turned the channel on the only TV to “Swamp People”. Of course, not one word was spoken. When I would take a look around the bar, I always locked eyes with the regulars staring at my friend and myself. We both decided after one beer we were going to leave. It was made plainly clear this was a regular/locals bar. I don’t know that I’ll be going back in there ever.

Bubba Dog Bakery & Doggie Daycare – Menu with Prices – 3402 W Central Ave, Wichita

I was “surprised” with a puppy around thanksgiving and needed a place to take her that was close by and opened early enough to get to work on time AND was affordable and safe. That’s a lot of requirements to meet. Bubba Dog Bakery and Day Care MORE than filled the bill. Carrie is very dependable, friendly, and provides a loving and safe environment for our pup Dani. She loves coming to Bubba to play with the other doggies, literally jumps out of the car and runs to the front door, and my other 3 adult doggies at home love the homemade treats I bring home. If you are looking for a safe and fun place for your dogs to socialize in, check this place out. 5 stars from us!!

Glitter Bean Cafe – Menu with Prices – 5896 Spring Garden Rd, Halifax

Others have tried and failed to make a profit at this poor retail location. This is a busy street, but people walking or driving by can’t see there is a coffee shop inside. From the street there is little to indicate this a commercial property. Looks like (and is) a residential building. No big store front windows at street level. Little in the way of signage. The logo on their sign needs to be re-designed to look more like a coffee shop. The faded Just-us sign (one of the former tenants who went belly-up) is still visible on the facade. Website is a waste: no menu, an empty “events” page, links that go nowhere. Very odd hours for a coffee shop; they like to close early, 6 pm weekdays and 5pm on weekends. Are the owners really committed to their business? Just one month after grand opening they closed the store for a weekend to “recharge.” They like to close when it snows, close for “staffing issues,” close for “unforseen circumstances,” close for government holidays (when all other coffee shops are open), and close for no apparent reason whatsoever. They need to charge more for their products; they are giving away too cheaply to undercut the competition (classic rookie business mistake), they won’t make enough money at those prices. A lot of wasted space in the store isn’t being monetized. I’m not sure what they are trying to do here.

Krispy Krunchy Kettering – Menu with Prices – 3960 Far Hills Ave, Dayton

When the location first opened in Troy Ohio, it was great, the food was always fresh, big meaty strips and breast, but as of late, the quality of food has really gone down hill. 2 weeks ago I stopped and got a couple breast and they were dry and not near as meaty as they were serving. Then this Wednesday I stopped again, thinking maybe they just had a bad day that day…nope, this time even dryer and less meat. So, because it is close to worked I thought I’ll just stop in and grab a can of soda and maybe some fries, that was at 6:30 pm, because you know their opne till 8 pm, WRONG, they were closed, most of the lights off, just like two people in there cleaning and the doors locked, I checked. I can’t speak for any of the other locations, but this one has become such a disappointment, after eating there at least once a week, sometimes twice, tonight just made me give up on them. I’m done…3 strikes and their out!

River Park Shopping Center – Menu with Prices – 71 E Via la Plata, Fresno

Food was good, although the service was horrible. Walked in at 8:50 PM August 31 2019 order number 34 and was greeted by 3 girls with a look of disgust and inconvenience. (Find another job if working Saturday nights is so painful.) I placed my order to dine in and sat down. As I sat and waited I could see the only priority for those 3 was to close up and leave. I watched them give the same look at 3 other customers. Flipped the sign closed at 858 and laughed after they told the last customer they were closed. At 910 my food was rushed to me in a to go bag. When I told her I ordered for her she sighed like it was such a big deal. I then said it’s fine I’ll eat in the to go containers. After opening the container I was missing sauces and 2 pieces of chicken. Each time they made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. Finally I ask for a manner and a young man comes out. I asked who the GM is and he told me Damien. If so I look forward to talking to you Damien.
