We recently had GoGanics food truck at our house for a birthday/housewarming party. They were fantastic! The ladies working the truck were friendly and super energetic. The food was amazing! There was not a single complaint from any of our guests. They were creative with the menu, allowing guests to combine or customize items. It was a great experience and even more importantly, it was deliciously amazing food!

Chayz Lounge – Menu with Prices – 607 Meeting St, West Columbia

We came last evening for the first time traveling from Charlestin. SC to celebrate my husband’s Birthday. We loved the atmosphere. The entertainment for the evening was amazing! We loved the variety of songs and appreciated the band taking the time to acknowledge and sing Happy Birthday to all celebrating in the room. The food was tasty we enjoyed all of the selections chosen. The deviled eggs are especially wonderful. My only complaint was that the drinks were costly for the amount poured. I’m specifically speaking of the wine and single shots. We paid $18 dollars for 2 shots of “house” tequila and the shot glasses were short. I feel the same way about the wine portions. $ 8 for 4 oz. Of of wine, should be 4 ounces. I used to be a bartender and so I speak from experience. Drinks are expensive and if customers should get what they pay for. Over all, we had a wonderful evening and will surely be returning in the future.

Mr. Q Crabhouse – Menu with Prices – 4221 N State Rd 7, Hollywood

Best seafood boil in Hollywood hands down!!! Where do I begin…. decor is beyond beautiful! You feel like your on a ship enjoying as much seafood as you can. Today was my mother’s birthday so we decided to treat her to Mr. Q’s Crab House. Their service and hospitality is superb. Our waiter Tara was so informative and attentive. She allowed us to try all their sauces that accommodate their seafood boils. I decided to go with their Cajun seasoning (sooo good). Other Options provided were garlic butter, Mr.Q’s special sauce and a sauce that was a combination of all the sauces in one. Fortunately, they were all pretty good! When I informed our waiter of my mothers birthday she provided us with a Birthday Poster and allowed us to take soooo much pictures and introduced us to Mr. Q himself! How awesome! He even took pictures for us. Lol Overall, Mr. Q’s Crab House is a must try seafood restaurant. Prices are reasonable and portions are enough to feed two! Moreover, my mother had an amazing time but most importantly she enjoyed her birthday at Mr. Q’s!! Thank you all again!

Bake Me Happy – Menu with Prices – 106 E Moler St, Columbus

Our favorite coffee shop/house in Columbus. Great staff, food, and most importantly, an overall neighborhood vibe that’s lost on so many places these days. In fact, it’s not even our neighborhood, but the extra few minutes it takes to get there are worth it for the atmosphere, if not just for the baked goods. The bakery items are next level. I’m not gluten free, and I’d never know that the place is. Dare I say gluten free is better? In this case it certainly is. You could order blindfolded and not go wrong. Only complaint at all is there’s not more Bake Me Happys around town. Do yourself a favor and drive past Starbucks once and check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

The Skirted Heifer – Menu with Prices – 5935 Dublin Blvd Suite 140, Colorado Springs

I LOVE this place. Always welcomed with such good energy. Kevin at the front is freaking awesome. He was so energetic, fun and knowledgeable. Who ever gives this place a one star review is a nut ball. I love it here always has quality meat, amazing toppings, fluffy buns and amazing homeade sauce. I never drink soda but here I DO. NY GODH THE BlackBerry soda…. IS INCREDIBLE. The creme soda is delicious too. I really cant complain and I’m so glad they opened up another location on Powers. Props to every single person who works here to include the cooks, they pop these burgers out like its nothing. And the cheese skirt on these things are out of this world, I always ask for extra crispy and they never fail me. Such harsh workers here. Seriously though gotta give props to Kevin. He was cracking us up and was so freaking energetic friendly and professional. Thanks you guys!

Firewall Food Stop Menu with Prices 1546 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd SW, Atlanta

I used Firewall Food Stop for the catering at my wedding in March, and could not be happier with how everything turned out. The reception venue had a place for Food Truck parking, so we had them bring the truck over, to prepare and serve the guests at our wedding. The food was delicious, and we have heard nothing but rave reviews from the guests that attended the event. Sam provided an awesome buffet line, as well as wood fired pizzas for the main course (cooked on the truck). The buffet included their specialty sandwiches/hummus/veggies/appetizers, so guests could eat some smaller dishes, while they awaited their pizza orders. Our wedding had approximately 130 guests in attendance. With that many people, the main issue we wanted to avoid, was prolonged waiting times for pizzas. Sam’s planning and expertise ensured everything went off without a hitch. I would HIGHLY recommend using them for any/all catering needs! They are the best!

V-Trap Kitchen & Lounge – Menu with Prices – 607 N Lincoln St, Wilmington

Yum! It’s the same delicious food from the creative minds of the Nude Food truck. They have just evolved to a brick-and-mortar shop in Little Italy Wilmington, Delaware. I haven’t posted pictures of their juices because I wind up drinking it because it’s so delicious, I forget to take a picture. I recently had their pineapple mint, which is amazing. Understandably their priority is this business not so much the truck, so as of right now, the Newark location for the truck has been put on hold. That was their home base for quite a while. When going to food truck events, I’m mostly disappointed in the selection of just fried greasy options. There is an organization called the Rolling Revolution, which is like a food truck union in Delaware that some food trucks belong to. But there’s almost like a clique happening now, with the same food trucks going to the same events which I just don’t even attend. Hopefully this brick-and-mortar place will do well and I will make an effort to try to get up there but it’s not as convenient as it once was at the truck. But you got to support people who are making an impact for the positive even if it’s a little inconvenient.

Caputo’s Market & Deli Holladay – Menu with Prices – 4673 S 2300 E, Salt Lake City

Know what this place feels like? It’s sort of feels like your birthday coming in here, with so much amazing stuff in every direction it’s like a present around every turn. All around the store are fascinating, delicious, interesting, mystical things that I want to figure out how to use. It’s a place with ingredients that inspire an entire meal; a place where the items for sale are curated and procured, not just rolled up and dumped off of a supply truck. I’ve been a fan of the downtown location for a long time, but only just made it in to this holiday spot when I was in the neighborhood. I don’t know what took me so long, because it’s super convenient and the smells had me tempted from a few blocks away. Olive oil, balsamic vinaigrette, every cheese, and even a few canned goods, but if they’re jarred and canned, they’re probably from a far flung place on the planet, likely Italy, and merit investigation. I need to mention the chocolate. All the chocolate. That’s a real birthday treat. I’ve been thinking about all of that chocolate and I have a heartfelt idea. Maybe it’s more of an invitation. Join me. Join me and let’s explore every single last chocolate manufacturer in that aisle. We’ll make our way through every single one, and not just in that store; let’s track them down and in our travels let’s meet the producers, sample their stuff straight from the source. Let’s travel the world and make chocolate a piece of it. We’ll take notes in a little chocolate book that gets worn with time and travel, and shows scribblings and scrawls about citrus notes and red wine overtones. It’s the chocolate aisle that struck me square in the heart and made me want to live that life. That’s what Caputo’s made me feel, and that’s my birthday wish.

B’s Cool Treats Ice Cream Truck – Menu with Prices – 1051 N Jefferson Ave, Sarasota

Best ice cream truck in town. The owner is super nice and great with kids. Plus the truck is pretty cool. They’ve got a bunch to choose from and I even found my favorite orange-sicle from when I was a kid. They even have locally made PopCraft popsicles. I asked and she’ll bring the truck out for parties and other events, so I’m calling her for my daugther’s birthday party. Great local business.

Renewal Bar & Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 1106 W Main St, Charlottesville

We are in Charlottesville visiting my daughter who is being treated for Acute Myeloid Leukemia at UVA Medical Center. A few days prior to our visit, I nearly lost her due to stage 6 sepsis shock. Thankfully, UVA’s amazing team of doctors and nurses stabilised her enough to transfer her to Medical ICU. Saturday night was her first night that she was back to her normal (medically speaking) self, and she is the one who suggested that we try Renewal. Immediately, the term renewal was a reminder of what she had gone through, and for that reason, we decided, once we left her, to have a beer and something to eat at Renewal. Indeed, your restaurant is not only appropriately named, for you offer your guests an opportunity to satisfy their biological need to eat, but perhaps as importantly, the need for us to be able to be social, which will also energise our inner-being. Let me say on both accounts, this was not only accomplish, but your restaurant and staff, exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, as you know, Christina was an energetic, vibrant, but more importantly, a smiling and welcoming host. We rarely see such people in my 30-years of being in the hospitality, as a chef and as a GM, and now as a professor/Phd Candidate. This is exactly what I now try and teach to my hospitality students. Christina actually goes beyond what can be taught in the classroom. What we experienced last night was hospitality that is woven in her DNA. Not only did she greet us, she set the stage for a remarkable late evening being “renewed”. Here is where sometimes experiences can go south, but our server Rashni (spelling?), carried that same hospitality spirit into our table side experience. Truly, the transition from host to table service was seamless. The food we ordered, then continued that remarkable experience, only for our eyes and palate. We ordered, what I think is probably a very popular dish, the Brussel Sprouts with the fondue on the side. The flavours and aromas were outstanding. We asked for a little balsamic to be drizzled on top. Without any hesitation, Rashni obliged our request, and we found this appetiser to be fantastic. My wife and I then ordered the blackened salmon, but did not want the side items. Rashni again was able to guide us in the right direction with some appropriate accompaniments. The chef (expediter?), I did not catch his name, came out to verify my wife’s request of no added salt. This dish came out and was truly perfectly cooked and seasoned. As is my custom, I observe a lot details at restaurants. To the detriment of having a “date”, I observe how other servers are interacting with the guests. I observe how other guests are experiencing their service. I also take note of small details such as lighting, cleanliness, and even fingerprints on plates, all of which is a barometer of how management has set the bar. I can say, for my visit, the bar is set high, and for my visit, service and food was flawless. I would be remiss to state, in both Christina and Rashni, you have two diamonds, and not in the rough. Sometimes we in this industry miss such gems because we work with these people day in and day out. Sometimes it takes an outsider to remind us of what we have. I promise you, my wife and I will be back in March (to visit my daughter again, I hope at her home), and we will come back to enjoy another evening inside your restaurant. Whatever you are doing at this restaurant, do not change it. It works and it shows! We will be back in March 2019 —

Arden’s Garden Marietta Menu with Prices 969 Marietta St NW, Atlanta

I visited this establishment for the first time today and was blown awsy by the service. The young lady who helped me was Taylor D. She was so energetic and happy. There was no doubt in my mind she was a fantastic employee. She loved her job but most importantly she cared about the customers. This made all the difference for me. I will be back to visit because of the way she treated me. Please go see her and tell her thanks.

Negril Social Restaurant & Lounge – Menu with Prices – 3428 N Tryon St, Charlotte

We planned a birthday party for 30-35 people that should have been a stellar event. Instead the owner choose to divert his resources to a food truck event on the same evening, knowing this would ruin his commitment to us. As a result we arrived to a place that was not cleaned, tables were not setup, and the manager was not present. He had only one cook. Our guests arrived and were served slowly. The servers tried but were overwhelmed. Food apparently was diverted to the truck event so some portions were small. Some food had to be prepared quickly and did not get the required time to marinate resulting in poor or little taste. The preparation was very slow. One guest did not get his food until 3 hours after we started. To add insult to injury they sent an apology email that offered no reparation. The food was fully priced and not worthy of our time. The owner ruined a birthday and was fully aware that his actions would cause substandard service. We don’t need your apology– you should offer refunds.

THE Gastro Grill – Menu with Prices – 103 N Broadway St, Fresno

Ok, so is lengthy but well deserved. We contacted Debbi and Reyes regarding the catering for our wedding a few months into our planning..that is when the awesome began. They were both extremely friendly, professional, open to suggestions, gave great advice, and ensured our menu met our wants/needs and most importantly the delight of our guests. The best way to describe food-It could not have been any better. Apps: Fresh Fruit & Cheese Platter Chicken & Waffles (Peanut Butter sauce & Nutella) BLT Crostini Entrees: Filet Mignon Tacos Pork Belly/Scallop Tacos Black and Blue Sliders Grilled/Seasoned Veggies & Potatoes Gastro Greens (Salad) My only regret for the day was I didn’t eat the food for breakfast and dinner. All items were full of flavor and flavored perfectly. Our guests truly raved about each course and each item. I would (and plan) on contacting them regarding future events and would recommend them to anyone for any type of occasion. For our reception experience-money perfectly spent. I would be happy to clarify or answer ?’s for anyone regarding this review.
