We were headed to Seattle and I was craving empanadas so I did a trusty yelp search and this place popped up. The reviews were sparse so I was hesitant but after reading their simple and clear, great menu online, we decided the prices are decent so why not? I checked my door dash app and had some credits so I preordered 6 Pan De Queso and decided I will order the empanadas in person!! Yayyyy lol! Finally got to Go Natural Foods and there was ample parking and it was very easy to find. We came inside the establishment and a nice lady was there and greeted so I told her I had a pickup order and she presented it to me. Hubby decided he wanted a drink and we also ordered 3 Colombian empanadas as well as 3 tropical ones. HOLY SHIIIIIIIZZZZZ HALLELUJAH THERES AN ACTUAL SOOT THAT CAN MAKE GREAT EMPANADAS?? It’s either too much dough and little filler or too bland but they were both delicious! I highly recommend the empanadas as well the Peruvian Chocolate smoothie was actually good too! I thought it maybe too sweet but all natural vegan and gluten free ingredients. Only issue I had was the Pan De Queso. I guess it’s not like back in New Jersey or Colombia with the circular and actual more cheese but this is more like dense for me, which is why I would give a 4.5 star but we do not have that option. I’m sure one day soon when driving across the border, we will be back to try some other goodies. Thanks again for the delicious treats as well kind and great customer service! Go to Go Natural Foods NOW! They do delivery and pickup as well!!

Pretty Sweet Bakeshop – Menu with Prices – 536 42 Ave SE, Calgary

Pretty Sweet Co makes amazing confectionaries! I’ve been ordering from Vicki for over a year now (two years?) I’ve lost track but she has provided cakes for all sorts of family events, birthdays, co-worker celebrations and she is aways so sweet to deal with. She also makes an absolutely to die for gluten free/dairy free cake! She has a wide variety of treats and cakes for any occasion and can replicate photos I’ve sent her no problem. I find the prices very reasonable for what you’re getting and now that she has a store front location it’s so easy to pickup goodies on the daily. Check out her Sweet Saturday’s if you’re looking to pickup something for a dinner party or just to snack on while you Netflix and Chill.

The Original Marini’s Empanada House – Menu with Prices – 3522 S Mason Rd #100, Katy

The empanadas I ordered today for take-out were so average I think I’m being generous by giving them 3 stars. Meat empanadas are my favorite of them all (and I’m from Argentina) but the ones I just tried from Marini’s had no meat flavor at all. They strong sauce and condiment eclipsed the rest of the flavors to the point where I couldn’t tell what the other ingredients of the empanada were. The humita empanadas (corn and cheese) were decent, better than the meat ones. I’m highly disappointed. I was happy that I had found foods that taste like home, but these empanadas don’t taste Argentine at all. If anything, they’re so spicy I’d think they were trying to make a Tex-Mex fusion. The bottom line is, if you want real Argentine empanadas, this is not my recommended spot for you. If you still decide to try Marini’s, make sure you visit the Westheimer location, as their products are slightly better.

El Pulgarcito Pupuseria – Menu with Prices – 1738 W Chapman Ave, Orange

Love love love this place. Pupusas are my guilty pleasure and I don’t really get to find places that do it so well. El Pulgarcito may seem unassuming from the outside, but the food they serve is delicious. El Pulgarcito has a large parking lot with plenty of spots and once you go inside the building, they have plenty of seating as well. Super welcoming and kind people that run this restaurant. They were very patient with us and I always love family-run businesses like El Pulgarcito. My friend and I were stuffed by the end and our tummies were full of delicious food. We ordered: [Drinks]: Horchata salvadorena: A lot nuttier in taste then your typical horchata. We really liked it and thought it wasn’t overwhelmingly cinnamon-y. We ordered a large and the huge size of the cup can easily be split between two people; Tamarindo: Love the sour taste and is a favorite of mine to cut through the savory goodness of pupusas. [Pupusas]: We tried their pupusa de chorizo con queso, de revuelta, de chicharron con queso, and de clabaza con queso. My favorite was the pupusa de revuelta (I guess I’m basic like that). But the pupusa de calabaza con queso was also really good. For me, I was already full eating two pupusas once you add in their delicious curtido and salsa on top. If anything, always get them filled with queso (CHEESE!). [Tamales]: These were alright. A lot bigger than the ones I have had before. I did find them to be little on the gelatinous and greasy side. Tamales de gallina was more dry than the tamales de puerco. [Dessert]: We ordered the empanadas de platano. I was expecting more of a fried banana bread/fritter. It’s very dense and hot when you first get them. The inside is filled with a jelly-like sweet leche filling. Overall: I would come here again and again just to eat their pupusas. Hands down my favorite pupuseria in the area. The pupusas are filled nicely and not just all dough. Very nice servers too!

Adelheidi’s Organics – Menu with Prices – 520 Park St, Naples

This is a gem in the rough. Everything on 5th Avenue South is so expensive and it is hard to find something that feeds into your inner sugar cravings that don’t cost a fortune. Adelheidi’s is amazing! They have vegan ice cream and gelatos. They aren’t as expensive as other ice cream places in 5th ave and they cater to those of us who still want to eat healthy but also want to satisfy our sweet tooth. This ice cream is basically guilt free ice cream. It is delicious. The customer service is great too. They have people who work there who really care and want to get to know their customers. This is something you do not find most places. I will definitely be returning! I was able to try different flavors and some flavors I wouldn’t even think would go together or taste well together and they really did. My favorite is the strawberry champagne. If you haven’t had the time you need to try this flavor! The lady who served us was so eager to talk with us and get to know us! That is A1 customer service in my book! Every flavor that I tried she gave a little back story on how it’s made. The mint ice cream was also a good flavor that I tried because she described that how the mint flavor isn’t just artificial flavoring they strain mint and use the actual mint leaves in the ice cream to really give it the natural flavor. I especially liked how the spoons that they used to let customers try their flavors were actual spoons and not just plastic spoons. This also proves how genuine they are about their vegan and save the planet themes. Those little extra touches make this place an amazing place and everyone needs to try it!

The Smoothie Room – Menu with Prices – 25 W Crystal Lake St Suite 163, Orlando

Arrived around 6:00pm or so, which wasn’t a busy time. I had the “Chocolate Factory”, which had almond milk, almond butter, dark chocolate, organic cacao, banana, and peanut butter. I usually dislike peanut butter in any smoothie because it usually overpowers all the other flavors. This smoothie has a nice balance of all the ingredients and it actually has made me more open-minded to smoothies with peanut butter. The cashier was new and she was friendly, asking what type of smoothie I would like. She recommended 3, “Health Nut”, “Butter Face”, and “Chocolate Factory”, based of what I told her. I thought “Butter Face” was a funny name. She and the other employee were nice to answer my question on what “maca” was, and if I could have a menu copy. Right now, the prices will change, so she said I am welcome to just take a picture of the menu. I’d definitely come back here for a smoothie fix! Delicious smoothie and great customer service. The ambience is relaxing too with the art decorations. The prices were reasonable too, for the quality.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Menu with Prices – 403 N Stadium Blvd Suite 102, Columbia

I had the opportunity to try food from Tropical Smoothie Cafe through a work meeting. I didnâ??t get to visit the brick and mortar location but did order and enjoy food that was brought to my place of employment.I was impressed by the numbers of choices that were available, food and smoothie-wise. Iâ??m not one to usually visit a smoothie shop but based on the feedback of my coworkers, I was willing to try it and was pleasantly surprised. At first glance, I wouldnâ??t have expected there to be much in the way of food (mainly just smoothies). There is a wide variety of different foods, ranging from healthy to unhealthy. There are quesadillas, wraps, bowls, sandwiches, kids meals, and even some breakfast options. The smoothie choices are even more vast, with dozens of different kinds as bases with multiple options for add-ins. They have supplement add-ins as well. I ended up ordering the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Bowl and the Chia Banana Boost smoothie with peanut butter. Both were delicious and filling.Overall, I would consider coming here again, especially if I wanted to stick with healthier food options.

Chyll Rolled Creamery & Boba – Menu with Prices – 27560 Newhall Ranch Rd #307, Santa Clarita

Husband and I drove down the mountain today with our son to try this place out as we were craving boba and there’s nothing up here in Lake Of The Woods…. we were not disappointed to make the drive at all! My husband got the durian smoothie, I got the Lavender Milk Tea and we got our son the honeydew smoothie dairy free. We also decided to share a rolled ice cream in a waffle cone- the one that has the matcha and the black sesame. As we were waiting for our order our son saw someone eating fries and wanted some so I also placed an order for some sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were absolutely delicious! They were crispy on the outside but smooth on the inside and topped with some sautéed garlic. It came with ketchup, ranch and the girl working offered us some sweet and spicy sauce to try with them as well- definitely a good suggestion as it paired very well! My husbands durian smoothie was very good (not normally my cup of tea but it was really good but our son wasn’t a fan ) my lavender milk tea was delicious and our son loved his honeydew smoothie. Last to come out was the rolled iced cream- and not only was the presentation beautiful (the guy takes his time making it look good) but it was also delicious. An unmistakeable matcha flavor and the black sesame was so good. It was topped with whipped cream, mochi, fresh strawberries and had a chocolate pocky stick too. Everything was very good and we met who I think may be the manager(s) and they were extremely friendly!! The customer service was excellent as well as the food. We are sad we are moving back to Pasadena in a couple weeks, but my midwife is out in Santa Clarita so I just may make the trek during the remainder of my pregnancy while I’m out here- we want to give the food a try before we move too as the menu was extensive and looked delicious. Was happy to see they had a kids chicken wonton soup as we don’t eat pork and I know we all have a hard time finding porkless wonton. Will definitely be back

PT’s Coffee Power & Light – Menu with Prices – 1310 Baltimore Ave, Kansas City

This was the only real coffee shop I tried during my stay in KC so I can’t compare it against KC’s coffee scene but, I think it is one of the better shops I’ve been to overall. The coffee selection was good and well thought out. Out of their many bean and blend offerings, I am confident that there will be something there to suit any taste. They also offered an interesting seasonal blend. I opted for a natural process Ethiopian pour over. It was well made by the barista. The roast hit all the right notes. Was a delicious cup of coffee There were a few non-coffee options also. A person in my party opted for a smoothie and said it was delicious and well blended. (The ice particles were perfectly incorporated). There was a small , but nice and varied , selection of pastries. The same smoothie guy also tried the grilled cheese. He enjoyed the Apple slices that was in the sammie. He said it paired well with the cheese. So in summary – Want a coffee? I would recommend this place. Very good coffee!

Planet Smoothie – Menu with Prices – 2270 Town Center Ave, Melbourne

I recently went to Planet Smoothie for a smoothie. Let me preface this review by saying that I am a smoothie aficionado. My primary breakfast every morning is a smoothie & customize my smoothies daily using a different variety of fruit along w/ additions such as turmeric, ginger root, etc. First & foremost the service at Planet Smoothie was solid. I opted for the Acai Original made w/ açaí, apple, strawberries, & bananas. I got the small 22 ounce size. I got the following add-ins for smoothie: Whole Grain Oats, Peanut Butter, & Leafy Greens I felt the add-ins would give the smoothie more sustenance along w/ some nutrients from the greens. The smoothie was A-OK yet three stars are given instead of four for several reasons. I felt the smoothie was costly for what you get. The add-ins were $1 each & the quantity of the add-ins isn’t even that great. Oats are one of the most affordable foods on the market & a small scoop of oats shouldn’t cost $1. I felt .50 cents per add-in would be more reasonable. The biggest annoyance of my smoothie was they are made w/ ice. I requested no ice & the person making my smoothie said that wasn’t possible. She made it w/ less ice even so felt the ice added a lot of filler. For the cost of the smoothie which was in fact costly felt they should be more substantial using more fruit, less ice, & less costly add-ins. If these improvements were made can see bumping my review up to four stars yet not sure if these suggestions would be implemented. On a plus side appreciate being able to customize your smoothie & it is helpful to list the calories for the smoothies along w/ the calories for each additional potential add-in for which there is a lot. Smoothies are in fact a great way to eat more fruit & can be healthy. I think Planet Smoothie would still be a better option than say Cold Stone Creamery next door. Eat more fruit!

Thrive Juicery Menu with Prices 2420 E Stadium Blvd, Ann Arbor

Popped by Thrive after yoga during a visit to AA and was impressed! The unique location in a unassuming strip mall makes this a little off the beaten path, and we were easily able to find parking and have a very minimal wait time – although I’m sure this is not the case when students are in town! The interior was perfect for a modern juicery – white walls, lots of natural lighting, many open spaces – very modern chic and a great environment to be sipping a smoothie! The menu at Thrive is relatively limited, with only a few “solid” food options but a good selection of smoothies and juices. Since it is a “juicery,” definitely wanted to check out some sort of “juice” option. I wanted something a bit more substantial, so I went for the Health Nut smoothie and was pleased with my choice. The inclusion of oats, chia seeds, and dates gave the smoothie its substance, and with the cacao powder and maple syrup, it gave a sweetness that wasn’t overpowering. I was expecting to be hungry again in a few hours, but I was surprisingly kept full for nearly 6 hours after! I did think the price was a little much ($8 for one smoothie), but worth paying for an excellent smoothie. I would like to try the “food” option, namely the sweet potato toast, and I would love to have smoothie bowls on the menu to make it a more comprehensive juicery. Overall, was a fan of Thrive and hope to visit again!

Tata Teahouse – Menu with Prices – 39230 Argonaut Way, Fremont

I will give this place a zero star if there’s a chance! Talk about customer service! I ordered avocado smoothie and the receptionist (chinese older lady) gave me honeydew smoothie. She blames me for saying it wrong when people behind me overhear me ordering AVOCADO! Then she goes to say I should try honeydew instead @$%!!! I reiterated that I want my avocado smoothie she rolled her eyes and cursed! WOW! She went on to say that I have to pay extra $1.50 because avocados are more expensive! Mind you that she (receptionist) was screaming at me (customer) throughout our conversation with people lined up to place their order. Great customer service indeed! One drink is missing from my order and again she blames me for only ordering 3 drinks, meanwhile when we checked the receipt, I had ordered 4 drinks!!! TATA teahouse just lost a customer today! I will never support this establishment as long as that chinese lady is there!! They should invest in sending her for customer service training before taking on that job!
