I was left in food coma all day. I’m so happy we have a Gem spot so close to home. My Fiancé and I were discussing how we’d only order Pizza from Glenoaks deli. I can’t wait till we have a get together soon and I order from Glenoaks Deli. You guys are doing a fantastic. The customer service is outstanding!!!

PIENEZZA Pizza – Menu with Prices – 3236 N John Young Pkwy, Kissimmee

Went on a date here with my fiancé. He had this place highly recommended by a friend so we went with hope for a good night. Fantastic pizza, so delicious. I had the grandma’s pie pizza. Worth it!! Flavorful and fresh. Totally hit the spot. Loved the service, felt so at home, great staff, I love the decor and they had Cuban jazz playing in the back, I seriously felt like I was in vacation somewhere tropical. And the cake!! Please try it. So good! Perfect way to close the night out. Fell more in love with my fiancé while here ð??? We left happier than we came! I am DEFINITELY returning and have highly recommended this place to our loved ones!! Can’t wait to return!

J-Town Beach – Menu with Prices – 10315 Watterson Trail, Louisville

A friend of mine went a couple of days ago to this place for a drink and got hit in the head with a volleyball while she was sitting at a table during an evening out w her fiancé. The manager was insincere and unapologetic when her fiancé notified management that she had been injured as an innocent patron of the restaurant. When my friend, her fiancé, and another mutual friend who had witnessed the incident began discussing her injury quietly at a table the owner came out and told them they needed to leave. I think this kind of business practice should not be supported. The manager/owner should reach out to the injured lady and offer a heartfelt apology and check whether she had a sustained injury. Avoid this establishment at all cost due to negligent customer service practices!

Hector’s Pizza & More – Menu with Prices – 12835 SW 42nd St, Miami

What’s the best thing for a hangover they said? PIZZA. Well not really… (oatmeal, bananas, honey are best and GATORADE!!) Anyways, so pizza, I always try to slide thru on a whim and try new places in the area. So my girl who is in hangover mode at home, says she wants pizza. I do my usual, Yelp for the nearest pizza spot and this place comes up with 3 reviews FRESH and no pic of store front (which I provided first for you guys), unless I didn’t then whatever. So I check out a few pics, looks good, I go on Grubhub, order and I get there at the appropriate pick up time and my food wasn’t made. Now I didn’t get upset because the lady who was helping me was super nice and apologized for my food not being made. Asked if I could wait 15 for the food, said I didn’t mind. While I was waiting she gave me a cup of water, and actually a small dessert on the house for their mistake. Alas, food was done, we said our goodbyes and off I go back home with pizza to the gf. My gf, the pizza connoisseur, tries and actually likes it. I eat my wings and they’re pretty good. Maybe the pizza could be a bit more crispy, it would’ve been on point. Definitely try it if you haven’t yet, doesn’t hurt to have another pizza spot in check just in case Papa Johns, Domimos, or Pizza Hut won’t hit the spot.

Emil’s Hideaway – Menu with Prices – 222 Glenbrook Dr SE, Cedar Rapids

My fiancé and I had never been here but had heard good things. From the outside, it frankly looks like a dive. On the inside, it is a bit more neon than what I was expecting but rather pleasant. How was the food? Really great. For an appetizer, We ordered the spicy wontons which lived up to the hype! Those were absolutely amazing. We also each had a pizza. She had the taco pizza and I had some kind of meat lovers pizza. Let me tell you that this was some of the best pizza I’ve had. Even though I had a couple of slices left over, they did not make it home as I ate them in the car on the highway. Don’t judge. I only gave this restaurant four stars because almost every step of our meal was incorrect. We had to remind them about our appetizer and My fiancé’s pizza was incorrect. Once we alerted them to the problems we were having, and they immediately did right by us and not only gave us a discount but apologize. That was greatly appreciated. We will certainly be back to give them another try because the food was incredible.

Pike Place Flowers – Menu with Prices – 1501 1st Ave, Seattle

I’ve never had to write a negative review but man was I incredibly disappointed and upset. My fiancé decided to be sweet and buy me some flowers. The lady helping us must have not liked the fact that we only wanted to purchase a few roses because she picked out the ugliest, wilting ones and haphazardly wrapped them in paper. After my fiancé paid for it, she then threw it towards my fiancé on the counter rudely and walked off. Had we known this was the service we were going to get, we would not have paid or taken their goods. We will not be returning to this business. Perhaps others will have better luck at this location then we did, or maybe there is a buying minimum to get adequate customer service.

Hugo’s Deli – Menu with Prices – 3437 Torrance Blvd, Torrance

Blink and you’ll miss this hidden gem! Hugo’s is a deli in the very corner of a shopping plaza. It’s a small space but there are tables and chairs to dine in. They make ordering take-out easy breezy. I called to place my order but it looks like you can easily skip human interaction and order online. A small but much appreciated touch is that they put prices on their online menu. All of their prices are reasonable for lunch. My fiance and I shared the marinated tri-tip sandwich and the turkey foccacia panini. Both are so different that I can’t really say I preferred one over the other. But they are both SO GOOD. I used to dislike sandwiches but I’m not realizing that when done well, sandwiches are the ultimate comfort food. Hugo’s does a fantastic job of doing just that. I really appreciate that both sandwiches have a good portion of protein but is also combined with toppings and sauces that are complementary to the flavors. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their offerings. While picking up my order, I got to meet the owner, Hugo, who is a delight. It’s meeting happy and passionate business owners like him that make me always want to support local.

The Waterway House Sports and Spirits – Menu with Prices – 9814 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach

Another local spot right around the corner from the condo where we were staying and we just happened to see a pizza sign and my son was all smiles from there. This place has a bar on one side and making handmade pizzas on the other side. I believe they offer other menu items but you can see the pizza being made through the window. I had no idea what we were getting into as I didn’t check the reviews prior and I actually went to the restaurant right beside it to order myself some Italian while the pizza was being made. It probably took the pizza about 10 minutes. We ordered just a small size cheese for him and we were both pleasantly surprised that the pizza was absolutely delicious and he enjoyed it so much that we ordered pizza here every night of our stay. The guys making the pizza were so nice and knew when we called the order in that it was for my son again. I’m definitely keeping them on my list to return when we are in the area again.

Joe’s Deli and Grill – Menu with Prices – 1710 N Hercules Ave # 114, Clearwater

This tiny, hidden jewel is the ideal spot for lunch. My fiance and I stopped in and were worried it might be closed due to the last review in 2017, but this is a happening place! Tiny strip mall so not a whole lot of parking but of you can’t find a spot don’t fear, they deliver! The shop itself is perfectly cozy. You are immediately greeted by warm friendly staff and you feel like a real person. They are happy to ask any questions. This is a breakfast and lunch place only and breakfast ends at 11am. I got the blackened chicken with bacon Kaiser and my fiance got the Cuban, he chose cajun fries I stuck with original. The cajun fries were definitely spicy but very good. Both fries were perfectly crunchy and fresh. The sandwiches were delightful! Bacon was cooked perfect, chicken was juicy, the bread was fresh and flavorful. Great prices and fantastic food! I highly recommend making this local spot a breakfast or lunch stop during your vacation.

Sushi Ramen Go – Menu with Prices – 1495 S Higley Rd ste 104, Gilbert

My fiancé and I were very satisfied with our Ramon. For me I’m I love spicy food and the spicy miso Ramon was perfect for me! Not to spicy, definitely wasn’t salty like most Ramon/American places are and it had a good amount of noodles! My fiancé is sensitive to dairy and pork, so we were really happy to hear that there is only thing on their menu that has dairy which is one of their appetizers. So if you can’t have dairy then this place is perfect! Also they were more then happy to replace the pork with chicken which my fiancé LOVED their chicken very much! The employees are very knowledgeable and explained to us how they make their broth which it turns out I learned that most places will make it in a way that lots of fat, however not for these guys they way they make their broth has less fat, which for me I loved! The broth definitely didn’t test hearty it was just perfect! Overall we are so happy we found this hidden gem, they have been open for 5 months and we do plan to come back! Also for those who care about how the place looks…it is very clean, modern and I love their chairs very comfy and they have a nice outdoor seating for when it gets more comfortable outside! If you want some good, yummy, real Ramon then come here and also they do have a sushi bar for those who love sushi!!!

Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe – Menu with Prices – 304 S 9th St, Columbia

Had to share my experience here yesterday. I have never been to the 9th street location until yesterday. Ordered online and went to pick up after work. I walked in and was pleasantly greeted and asked if I had the pick up order. She said she was just putting my last pizza in and handed me a cup and told me to get a soda if I wanted while I waited. Another worker came to help her box my pizza and proceeded to ask how my day was going. The wait was not long at all but I was impressed with the customer service they provided and the how friendly they were. Just donâ??t find that much anymore and I commend the two working that day for such amazing treatment of people! They really know what theyâ??re doing. The pizzas were fantastic too!

Pulcinella Pizzeria & Wine Bar – Menu with Prices – 1119 W Drake Rd C12, Fort Collins

Elon is one of the best employees Iâ??ve seen in a long time, as I wait at the counter for him to take my order, Elon was taking a pizza out of the oven. He carefully Cut the pizza with care. Ruthie’s Boardwalk Social – Menu with Prices – 1397 Pearl St, Boulder

After hearing multiple good things about Ruthie’s from family and friends, I stopped at their Pearl Street Mall kiosk yesterday while running some errands. Thankful I did, a totally positive experience! Located at Pearl and 14th, Ruthie’s took over a space that was previously a deli. Great location, just southeast of the Boulder County building and a brief stroll from places like the Boulder Theatre, the info center, and numerous shops and restaurants, right in the heart of the Mall. They don’t offer seating, but there are plenty of spots to park yourself nearby including benches and the grass. A couple of little kids were ordering soft serve ice cream with their Mom when I arrived, and I appreciated the friendly manner that the person at the order window conducted himself. Turns out it was Dan, who is Ruthie’s GM, and he totally gets it in terms of customer service. They specialize in grilled cheese, which I’ll grab the next time, but this stop was for their much-heralded, twice-cooked french fries, a necessary vegetable for me when hangry. Wow! Outstanding! A bigger than expected portion, delicious, loved their condiments, ranging from ketchup to sriracha sauce and mayo. But I completely scored, as I was offered an experimental garlic aioli concoction that they were testing – absolutely fantastic & hoping they offer it on the menu soon! It was sensational, and I cannot wait to have it something in the future. It would even be a good dip for pizza! Affordable and fairly priced, pleasant and professional customer service, and an ideal location. I’ll make Ruthie’s part of my regular Pearl Street food rotation now!
