Wonderful new little sushi restaurant. Iâ??ve been there two times since my first try. Very very clean, quick service and excellent fresh food.. . Iâ??ve had the wonderful octopus, tempura shrimp appetizers, small house salad, the 5 piece sashimi (bigger pieces than others), sushi, miso soup, and the teriyaki eel and rice bowl. I can attest that ALL were the best, just excellent. Best of all, good quality at a lower fair price!. . This is my sushi place now instead of Blue Fin Sushi, I find the value is much better and quality is just as good while they have some different things than Blus Fin.. . I highly recommend, you wonâ??t be disappointed.

Tokyo Japan Sushi & Hibachi – Menu with Prices – 3000 N Green River Rd, Evansville

I stopped in here with a friend for dinner around 7:00 PM, and the establisment was completely empty. I briefly worried that this might be a bad sign, but my fears were unfounded. We were promptly seated and orders taken. The waitress was friendly, but all business. The atmisphere and decor were pleasent, and everything seemed clean. My friend ordered a couple sushi rolls, and I had the Teriyaki Salmon bento box. I ordered it because it gives a good variety of different things on the menu. It came with miso soup, ginger salad, tempura fried shrimp and vegetables, pork fried rice, spring rolls, a california sushi roll, and the Salmon teriyaki. All of them tasted fantastic, and were excellent examples of what Japanese cuisine should be. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Blue Fin Sushi Menu with Prices 102 S Samish Way, Bellingham

Went here with a group of sushi lovers who said this was their favorite sushi restaurant. I quickly saw why when I saw the extensive menu of sushi selections. We had everything from plum wine and saki to appetizers of edamame and dumplings then sushi (I had spicy chicken teriyaki since I am not a sushi fan). Also had great green tea ice cream for desert. Prices are a bit high. The quality of food and service is excellent. The restaurant was full and customers were flocking in for “to go” orders which displays that this is very popular destination for sushi.

Chopstick Japan – Menu with Prices – 2801 Wilma Rudolph Blvd #8006, Clarksville

We often eat here every time we come to the mall. They are always handing out Chick Teriyaki samplers on a toothpick. They cook the Teriyaki and prepare sushi both in front of you. They give you a huge portion of Chicken Teriyaki and it is really good- it seems it lacks something, but I think that is because I cook with a lot of seasonings at home. I can’t eat it all so I eat the other half later. It is what we usually get and is only $5.99, but I do order their sushi and I like it, although I am no sushi expert (I’ve only tried sushi at two places so far). There are 35 choices. There are 7 sushi roll options, 6 Teriyaki options(3 meats), miso soup, tempuras, salads, specialty rolls, and drinks. Of course I’ll go back.. I always do. I took off only one star because as far as my palate is concerned, I would prefer if he didn’t sear the meat so much, but that is only preference, I think. They are also nice people. A man and a woman.

The Good Fish – Menu with Prices – 1956 N Placentia Ave, Fullerton

THE GOTO for some sashimi bowl. Forget all the poke bowl with their chopped fish. These thick generous slices on the sashimi bowl is legit. We get our sushi fix for dinner, now that it’s not as feasible to omakase on random weeknights (being parents & all). Also, it’s a great place to pickup quality food when when family & friends are over. kids approved I’m always ordering All salmon (customized to include the veggies/ toppings) for myself, the extra salmon sashimi bowl (about $3 more) for the husband, & my kids get the yellowtail collar. They love it, and always by bummed when it’s sold out. The baked salmon is a great alternative , & they’ve tried the chicken bowl. Great portions, quality ingredients, and well priced. All of it We’ve gotten the chirashj bowl, & actually a Fav if my mom’s. It includes all the fish they sell- salmon, tuna, albacore, butterfish, scoop of spicy tuna. She does say the salmon is her Fav, tho!! So, Thinking she prefers the salmon bowl, that’s what I ordered today. Then she wonders where the other fish are. Hahahaa My fav touch is the sauces offered. That house garlic is amazing, & you can’t go wrong with the “good sauce”. I truly like the ponzu they provide with the yellow tail collar. Wish my kids can enjoy it too, but they’re always looking for teriyaki. Haha They also have rolls, burritos, ramen, other cooked proteins. Plenty of seating, large parking lot (that can get crowded), space is clean. Also, to attest to the customer service, once my order was done wrong. They more than made up for it! Thank you THE GOOD FISH!

Kool Kakes By Dylan – Menu with Prices – 5615 Troup Hwy, Tyler

We ordered two cakes from Kool Kakes by Dylan for a 50th Anniversary Party. Both cakes turned out better than the pictures we provided that we wanted the cakes to look like. They delivered the cakes for our event which helped so much, highly recommend that service. The cakes were absolutely delicious. His fondant is made out of marshmallows and tastes good. Our cakes were strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, and snickerdoodle. The cakes were a huge hit, they were so beautiful you didnâ??t want to cut them, and tasted wonderful. Village Bakery use to be by go to cake place-but I now have a new cake man! They give great customer service and respond quickly to any questions. I highly recommend them, you wonâ??t be disappointed.

Miso Sushi Menu with Prices 8019 Menaul Blvd NE Suite A, Albuquerque

4.75 STARS. As a sushi snob originally from California but living in ABQ 30+ years, I keep hoping for amazingly excellent sushi and Miso Sushi comes very, very, very close! The QUALITY of fish was amazing. Buttery, silky, smooth. Not a sinew anywhere. The absolutely superb quality of the fish will have me coming back repeatedly. The sushi rolls were artistically prepared when called for (i.e. rainbow roll). The plating design perfectly captured a sense of simple beauty. Even the wasabi was plated in a delicate swirl rather than the usual lump. The complements to the dish were excellent. The ice tea is a fragrant white tea and clearly fresh-brewed. No Lipton here. The broth of the miso soup was the best I’ve ever had–not overly salty and just a touch sweet. The salad blossomed with fresh, crisp, cold greens and a delightful miso/salty/sweet/vinegary dressing. My qualms (if you can even call them that) are minor. The fish on the nigiri was not quite as cold as I prefer. The sushi rice isn’t as “sticky” as it needs to be and tends to fall apart a bit too easily. When you try to dunk nigiri in soy sauce the Japanese way (fish down), the piece doesn’t hold together as well as it could. If you dunk “American” style (rice down), you can lose a chunk of the rice. (And for super-nitpicky stuff: They don’t have low-sodium soy sauce and the only artificial sweetener is saccharin.) The menu has many non-sushi items (tempura, soba, teriyaki) so you can bring your non-sushi friends. If you know sushi restaurants, you know that nigiri in combo dishes is always “chef’s choice” but the menu probably should mention that for newcomers. Service was friendly and attentive, but to be fair, Monday at lunch we were the only customers. (Waitstaff and busstaff were all fluent in English, in case that matters to you.) Decor is simple and immaculately clean. Calm music. As we were alone, I can’t comment on noise level. Two people, two rolls, 5 pieces of nigiri, 1 ice tea: total less than $40 including tip. For sushi with fish this good: bargain! I will absolutely be back and think ABQ sushi fans should try it!

Basho Sushi – Menu with Prices – 775 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston

Of all the sushi burrito/rice bowl restaurants I’ve been to, I’d say that Basho express is just okay. The first time I was here, I ordered a sushi burrito which I thought was pretty small – it was more like a sushi roll than a burrito. I wasn’t expecting it to be thick like an actual burrito, but it was pretty thin compared to other sushi burritos I’ve had. The other times I’ve been here, I ordered a bowl because it was bigger in terms of portion size. I really enjoyed the bulgogi rice bowl and will definitely order it again! I think that’s the only thing I like here on top of the arrange of Asian drinks they sell here. I think I just need to explore the menu more. But so far, the flavors are just meh and nothing stands out to me.

The Blue Fish Las Colinas – Menu with Prices – 925 W John Carpenter Fwy #100, Irving

This place has amazing sushi!!!!! The food was delicious!!! We started with the Kobe beef dumplings, the meat inside was ground and seasoned really well. We also ordered stir fry veggies. I ordered a dragon roll, a caterpillar roll and a Hawaiian roll. Each roll was full of fresh, wonderful flavor!! The Hawaiian roll had pineapple in it giving it a littler sweetness. It was my absolute favorite!! My husband, who is not a sushi fan, got the Philadelphia roll and he really enjoyed it. He’s not one to usually finish his roll but he ate the whole thing! He also ordered the Teriyaki chicken and it was so juice!! The chicken usually comes with rice, my husband always asks to sub noodles for rice and most places give us a hard time and an up-charge. We were pleasantly surprised that this was not even an issue here. The waitress was so nice about it, it was the easiest substitution we have ever had at a Japanese restaurant!! And they didn’t charge us extra, and that was really nice of them!! The staff here are all very friendly and knowledgeable. My husband was curious about the difference in certain names, like maki, sashimi, and sushi, the waitress was great at explaining it to him. She was very sweet and nice. The ambiance is casual but nice. It definitely works for a great date night or celebration. The food is great, the prices are very fair and the staff is wonderful!!

Chicken Teriyaki Menu with Prices 2225 S Peoria St, Aurora

I moved from Seattle last year where there is a teriyaki joint on every corner. But here in Colorado there is a severe lack of true teriyaki places. I have been searching for MONTHS to find an actual teriyaki place that isn’t Asian Fusion or part of a sushi restaurant. At long last I think I have finally found it. And what’s better, the food is amazing! After craving it we finally decided to give this place a try and we were not disappointed! I ordered the number 3 dinner teriyaki beef and my boyfriend had the number 1 combo chicken and beef teriyaki. We ordered to-go. The food was ready really quickly (about 10 mins) but it took me almost 15 to get there. The inside of the place is small but has a few tables to sit and eat. The portions of food are perfect and there is a great balance of rice, meat and vegetables. The beef was cooked really nicely with a great flavor and also had sauteed onions. The rice was perfect and mixed well with the beef. And I appreciate that it comes with stir fried vegetables instead of a small side salad. Overall it was fantastic and I will be back very soon!

Kamura Sushi – Menu with Prices – 3800 Sebastopol Rd, Santa Rosa

We lost our goto Japanese restaurant of 25+ when the original owner of Shogun retired and sold to a new owner from the South Bay, changing the menu and for us taking it off our list for now. We’ll try it someday but memories off a great restaurant die hard. So last night, with the help of good ol’ Yelp, we started checking out options and decided to check out Yireh Sushi due to reviews posted. Fun little, and I mean little, place. It sits in the living space on top/business on the bottom development on west Sebastopol Road that was built quite a few years ago that has never taken off as planned. As a result parking could be an issue as there really isn’t any, at this point due to the lack of businesses in the area its OK. You need to park on the street. The restaurant itself is clean and nicely decorated in a Japanese motif. The food is wonderful, extremely fresh, flavorful and authentic. We started with tuna sashimi, excellent quality sashimi grade tuna, obviously fresh for the day. Next we had a wonderful Miso soup that was the lead course for the Bento Box dinners we ordered. My wife had the Chicken Teriyaki and I had the Teriyaki Beef. Both boxes were including a small salad with delicious Japanese dressing, tempura vegetables and rice that was perfectly prepared. We ordered the same order we have had many times at Shogun over the years and Yireh Sushi did not disappoint, the food was as good as we had come to expect from Shogun, excellent presentation and flavor, and even less expensive. We also had a small bottle of unfiltered cold saki that went perfectly with dinner. We were both impressed. I would like to mention a couple of things that stood out to us. The staff is very small, with one Sushi chef, I believe the owner, so food takes a bit to get to you from order to table. Luckily when we sat down we had some friends at the table next to us that we shared time with. So be prepared to wait a bit, but the food is worth it. The other thing is the tables are round and very small, as a result your dinners will take up all the table space. Give Yireh Sushi a go, the food is great!!

Asahi Sushi Bar – Menu with Prices – 7831 E 71st St, Tulsa

Just moved here and so far I have not been impressed with any of the sushi here, even in the raw which people claim to love, but this place was good. It was really good for the price point! It was good sushi very well sliced at a very low price point so overall it’s the best I’ve found here so far. Service was excellent, could tell they have regulars which always makes me feel good about a place, and everything was served at appropriate times in the meal (salad, sushi, rice bowl) not all places do that so I liked that a lot! My uncle got the octopus salad bowl and loved that and I got seaweed salad and tuna sushi which I thought was very good. only negative was the pink ginger. I did not get any rolls this time but I will try some next time I bring a less full tummy! I’ll add more when I go back and try more options!

Domo Sushi Bar & Ramen House – Menu with Prices – 5636 Vogel Rd, Evansville

3.5 star Verdict: Worth a try When my gps took me to the address I was initially confused because I didn’t see any sushi place nearby. Turns out it’s actually inside the China Bistro building so just head on inside. The service was outstanding! Everyone was super friendly and was always making sure I had everything I needed. and the price of the lunch bento box on the menu was hard to believe- sushi AND yakisoba, terriyaki, salad, and miso soup all for $11? Sounds like an amazing deal! Sadly, the teriyaki chicken wasn’t anything to write home about and was served luke warm. The yakisoba wasn’t terrible but was a bit bland. On the upside, the miso soup was great and the spicy tuna roll wasn’t too bad. What surprised me that the spicy tuna itself was good but the rice… well, there wasn’t much of it to go around. I suppose it’s better than having a whole lot of rice and not enough tuna inside, but it was just a little strange. It wasn’t super spicy so if you like a kick but don’t want to feel the heat scorching your mouth it should feel just right. Now you can’t entirely judge a sushi place by the rolls. So I ordered the classic nigiri tuna. The tuna itself would have been fine…..except it was dry. The tamago was good but the tuna was just a huge let down. Will I return? Well, I think this place has real potential. If they can keep their teriyaki hot when it’s served and add some more flavor to their teriyaki and yakisoba I will probably drop by whenever I want some sushi but don’t want to go bankrupt. If the next time I visit the teriyaki is hot and the sushi isn’t dry, I will most definitely upgrade my review to 4 star.
