Where to begin, where to begin! Ha! Ok, so literally a year to the date (a few days ago lol) I joined a gym for the first time in my entire life. Kinda sad, right? Prior to that, I was hiking every day. I still hike on a regular basis, but go to the gym 4 days a week. Recently I started thinking that I should probably add protein shakes to my diet. Shortly after that, I discovered, Fuel Up Nutrition…located in the same plaza as my gym. I began going in there and I have not regretted it once! I’ve taken protein shakes in the past and have never been a big fan of them. It took awhile for me to acquire a taste for them and even then, I was like…mehhh . Fuel Up uses Herbalife protein powder and I absolutely LOVE. THEM! They make the best shakes at Fuel Up. If you workout on a regular basis and want a great and HEALTHY nutrition spot to stop at before or after your workout…I highly recommend this place. Everything about this spot is fantastic. The place itself is designed and decorated perfectly..it’s very welcoming and actually, kinda homey haha. They have the usual benches, tables and chairs, but also have a couple couches/love-seats to sit in. I have some photos on my profile of the spot. Check them out. Jessica is the owner. You wanna talk about a more welcoming human?? My God! She’s incredible! Not only is she one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, she’s very engaging with her customers. She’s extremely knowledgeable on her product and she helps you decide on what is best for you and what would go good with your diet/lifestyle. She can always help with suggestions too in other areas. She truly is a remarkable human being and I am so happy I decided to go into this place.. It costs about $8 for a shake. You can add probiotics or Liftoff tabs etc to your drinks. You also get a choice of cold or hot tea. I get the raspberry tea and I add a pomegranate Liftoff to it. It’s amazing. They aren’t Dixie cup sized drinks either, haha! You’re getting a great deal for what you pay. You’ll love it. And again, super tasty! I’ve always been soooo picky with protein shakes and yeah, super stoked this place is here and literally right next to my gym So, next time you’re in the market for a great juice bar/nutrition bar and you’re in your car and you see…Tree City….KEEP. DRIVING! and head over to Fuel Up. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Hope this helps any of you out there looking for a place like this. They use the best products in their drinks, real fruit…no added unnecessary and unhealthy sugars. It’s great stuff. Enjoy!

CLT Nutrition – Menu with Prices – 3917 South Blvd, Charlotte

I decided to try this place because the Instagram photos make all their shakes look super delicious. I’m going to start with a disclaimer: I do not drink protein shakes regularly. So I went with the intentions to see if I would be into this or not. You walk in and you fill out a paper with what drink you want, what booster you want in your tea, and the flavor of your tea. All shakes come with a tea. The idea is, your shake is the “meal” and the tea is the drink you’d get with it. I agree with another review that it is difficult to get through both before one of them melting or the ice melting. I got the Carmel cappuccino and it was pretty tasty. The first third of it was good and then the protein flavor started to roll in. If you are expecting a milkshake then you will be disappointed. The shake is good, but again, it’s a protein shake so be prepared for that. The tea was great! I would go in there for the tea more than the shake! I got peach with cranberry aloe. I went on a lunch break one day to try it out. Honestly it didn’t satisfy me as a replacement, but again, this is coming from someone who didn’t work out before I went and don’t normally drink protein shakes. If I worked out and then got one I bet it would be great and satisfying! For the price, I probably won’t go back since now I realize protein shakes aren’t my jam. It was ~$11 (I can’t remember if I got an extra booster in my tea or not). But the shake is $9 for a small and adding extra boosters can cost you more, so you could potentially pay $12+ for a shake and tea if you get fancy with it. I still think they deserve to be checked out if you like protein shakes or want to do what I did and see if you like them because the employees were friendly and the quality of the protein shake was good.

One Stop Nutrition – Menu with Prices – 1917 S Signal Butte Rd # 102, Mesa

One stop is amazing – When I walk in, they already know what protein shake I like ,and it’s ready as I walk up to pay!! The quality of their shakes are up to the highest quality on earth!! Gigantic fresh strawberries-sometimes I wake up craving their drinks I’ll be there right as they open they always greet me with a smile and they know my name the – this place is immaculate they’re always in a great mood this place is one-of-a-kind the vast expanse of supplements and protein powders will blow your mind ‘ And to top it off every 10 you bye you get a free one I don’t work out very hard due too some back issues but I do notice gains from there protein shakes Keep up the get work

Next Level Nutrition Studio Herbalife Protein and Energy Bar – Menu with Prices – 821NW, NW 13th St, Gainesville

I went to Next level nutrition after only going to Impulse nutrition and wasn’t impressed at all. I walked in and had 3 people stare at me for minutes before anyone spoke to me. The owner was a very niche gentleman. My fat burner was cold with powder chunks, and my shake was gritty & not smooth. I have asked for the nutritional breakdown of the whipped toppings, granola toppings, and chocolate/caramel sauce they use and have been unable to get that information. I do not think they include that in the calories. I would much rather drive the extra 8mins to Impulse Nutrition to get amazing customer service & delicious fat burner with smooth shakes!

The Healthy Spot – Menu with Prices – 3422 W Hammer Ln e, Stockton

I was looking for something refreshing, yet packed with protein after working out, and thanks to Yelp, it led me here! Sorry Jamba Juice… Kinda tucked away in the streets of Stockton, CA, The Healthy Spot is located in some plaza (sorry, not familiar with the city). Anywhooo, I like the chill vibes from this place. It reminded me of a barber and/or vape shop, so expect homies to be chilling with their homies at this spot. Nothing wrong that because it just shows how supportive people are They have a bunch of things to choose from on their menu, which made it a bit difficult for me. They have a loooooong list of shakes (which is why I visited) and the the fact that peanut butter plays the Number role in 90% of their shakes, post-workout shakes, etc. etc., Peanut Butter lovers… good luck trying to fine THE ONE. After 5, maybe even 10 mins, I finally chose the OREO COOKIE shake and added peanut butter! Man oh man, talk about delicioussss!! It may look super sweet but it’s not! It was THICCCCC yet easy to drink. This shake was the perfect blend of Oreos, peanut butter + getting your protein! Yes, they offer meal replacement items, but tbh, this smoothie that I ordered became my dinner. I love how I didn’t feel like crap after drinking it. I felt refueled, refreshed, and 100% satisfied. So if you happen to crave a shake, I highly suggest trying The Healthy Spot! Lastly, a big ups to the cashier who was patient with me, answered all of my questions, and for giving me advice on what would be ideal for me to order.

Xumaa Nutrition & Juice Bar – Menu with Prices – 7900 Haven Ave, Rancho Cucamonga

This is great little nutrition store that offers a variety of products ranging from running shoes, canned drinks, vegan snack bars, nutrition bars, nuts, jerky meats, health chips. They also carry dietary supplements, powered sports nutrition, cleansing and digestion alternatives that I have personally tried and will continue to use periodically. They also have a menu with all fresh ingredient to make your juices, smoothies, protein drinks and organic yogurt. I’ve tried so far two protein drinks and today I opted for fresh juice. I decided to have a “sporty recovery” juice that includes celery, apple, cucumber and I substituted ginger for lemon over a little bit of ice as requested. Customer service is impeccable and they truly appreciate you visiting the store and asking questions, they have answers. Thus far I have met Ramen and my last two visits I had the pleasure of Nicole. Both share a passion and truly enjoy providing customer service with a smile. Add your cell number and earn points for a discount as loyalty points. Commercial strip retail property, Xumaa is located between a music store and 7-eleven. They have 3 or 4 dedicated parking stalls directly in front or you can park at your own discretion. Keeping it real ?

Luna’s Nutrition – Menu with Prices – 6330 De Zavala Rd #112, San Antonio

New shake cafe in our neighborhood. Drove by and thought we would stop in. Loved how nice and enthusiastic the service was! Herbal-life based shakes. $6.50 for all shakes. I got the vanilla matcha and it’s delicious. 24g of protein ? Few recommendations for this new business. Prices for shakes/teas are not posted anywhere. Add the full menu with ingredients on the wall. Less community advertising on the countertop as it takes up sitting space. Will definitely return!

Castillo Ice Cream – Menu with Prices – 20 S Castillo Dr, St. Augustine

Dude, this place is fantastic. We got three milkshakes here…vanilla, caramel chocolate cheese cake, and brown butter bourbon truffle. All three were superb and use real whipped cream, but man oh man was that brown butter bourbon shake good. It was one of the top five shakes I think I’ve ever had and I love me some shakes. Both of the other shakes were quite tasty as well. The difference maker here is the ice cream which is most definitely top of the line. There is plenty of competition in this neighborhood for sweet treats, but they are making some quality ass milk shakes at this spot. Will be back for more hopefully soon…

AMBEST Shoemaker’s Travel & Service Center – Menu with Prices – 151 SW 48th St, Lincoln

After pumping almost $300 of fuel went to the fuel counter and they wanted to charge me $3 to cash a $254 fleet one check, really. And then the next morning got my permit for Iowa faxed to the fuel counter and when I went to pick it up it was unlegible because the printer chewed it all up. The staff seemed unconcerned and really didn’t care even though it was a official document that I needed. The driver before me that morning pumped in over $300 worth of fuel and they wouldn’t even give him a free cup of coffee, really. I guess I’ll just take my business elsewhere never to return. Good luck with treating your customers as such.

Nutrition Tavern – Menu with Prices – 5505 O St suite#7, Lincoln

I absolutely love this place the drinks are amazing and super healthy. Their shakes are like cake in a cup and it’s well worth the money. The drinks use soy rather than milk and I 100% recommend their drinks. I tried the Nebraska sunrise tea and it legit tastes like a fruit roll up and the shake I got was a salted caramel and holy poop I’m blown away. I had been looking forward to the drink and swear itll probably be a weekly place for me The employees are super nice and although they aren’t open on Sundays they do brunches sometimes where they make the shakes into waffles and I honestly am looking forward to it. They are quick and efficient, so dont worry about waiting a long time. They also have challenges, meal programs and exercise programs to help with weight loss, gain or just health concerns. Their result pictures are crazy too, just come and see for yourself!

Healthies Indy – Menu with Prices – 11915 Pendleton Pike, Indianapolis

Healthies is super cute and has a fun aesthetic. The owners are nice and the staff was friendly, which is always an added bonus. Located in Lawrence (on Indy’s northeast side), this new spot is locally owned and operated. They offer a variety of teas and smoothies. Teas range from flavors such as: açaí berry, raspberry lemonade, passion fruit, and sour punch straw. The smoothies have flavors like: white chocolate Twix, blueberry muffin, peanut butter pie, salted caramel mocha, etc. You can add things like protein, collagen, fiber and probiotics to your drinks and they’re supposed to be a substitute for a meal. However, the name Healthies is a bit deceiving, as the shakes have 10g of sugar and I was told that the tea has zero grams of sugar, yet it was incredibly sweet which took me aback a bit (trying to cut way back on sugar). I’d love, love to have a few actually healthy juices/smoothies that are low in sugar (or the sweet added syrup) in addition to having the good things available like protein. They already make cool combinations here, so it’s definitely possible- substituting sugar for fruit! Congrats on the new biz and the awesome reviews! Excited to send more people your way!

6th Avenue Espresso – Menu with Prices – 7008 6th Ave, Tacoma

I love this coffee stand. I’m a business owner and Jess makes it look easy! She remembers my order only after a couple of times of me being there and is always super nice. Shes actually the whole reason I get what I get- she recommended it one day to me and since then it’s my go to. There’s even a little spot to walk up and get your coffee/pastries too if you’re on foot. I hope this business grows, they’re awesome!
