Ordered a family pack, asked for no onions on all five burgers. Got home and noticed every single burger had onions. Simple mistake, I get it. The problem was when I called to ask if my order could be remake i was told that they were just going to take the onions off and give back the same burgers. I’ve manage restaurants for the past 20 years and that’s definitely not something you tell a guest. I spend alot of money coming to this location because it’s very convenient and close to my house. The food is always great, just train your cashiers on how to handle complaints and be a little more professional. I have two daughters that are allergic to onions. Very disappointed.

Manhattan Bagel – Menu with Prices – 6001 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia

This location is very close to my home but I won’t return despite them being very friendly. I ordered the nova lox =$9.71 and it came with an ample side order and a pickle. The sandwich was below average in my opinion. The everything bagel was sweet and it didn’t bode well with this sandwich. There wasn’t enough lox and too many onions which threw the balance off. I still can taste the onions in my mouth. There wasn’t enough cream cheese either. I ate it because it wasn’t horrible but like I said I won’t return here. I don’t like wasting my hard earned money to be disappointed. On another note, yesterday I tried the one in Glenolden and my sandwich was perfect! I didn’t get as much potato salad but my main course was excellent. Which is why I came here. Nope, that was mistake. I might give this location another try depending on how desperate but I doubt it management will contact me to rectify my truly dissatisfied experience. I hate wasting money and having onion taste doesn’t help either I’ll try the Montgomery location next since it’s not too far.

Buffalo Wild Wings – Menu with Prices – 431 Gander Dr, Charlottesville

Here goes another bad review: All we wanted was 2 burgers so 1st time we ordered to go we ordered 2 All American burgers ONE with sautéed onions and the SECOND with regular raw onions. We got our food and we’re wondering why we had so many bags…. came home and realized we had an extra salad prior to the one we ordered and we got a medium boneless wing order never ordered the boneless right. Okay so we get home just to realize that both burgers have sautéed onions and one of the burgers looked like it was just thrown in the box not even put together . Fine they gave us 2 food credits to get 2 more burgers another day. Finally today we called back to get our burgers ( asked for them the same way we did the first) just to come home and find BOTH burgers WITHOUT ANY onions and one burger was raw as you can see for yourself meanwhile “they cook them all well done” bullshit. Like how hard can it be ???? Somebody clearly can’t cook back there they need major help. Oh and guess what we got 2 more food credits for the second time I would appreciate them being right the first time cause after two times of the burgers being wrong we really don’t even want them anymore . Check ya burgers before going home

Marilus Bakery – Menu with Prices – 1400 Cherry Ave, Long Beach

Sweet! Came by to get my self a drink I have been to there other location and they offer the same things! I got my fresh orange juice and a torta for lunch. This location is on the main street making it convenient to me. I honestly love this place. The carne asada torta they make here is bomb! My sweet tooth here is the cup of flan they have. Service here is as good as the other one no complaints at all. Always greeted by the nice ladies working here. Parking is easy to find and its next to a liquor store which makes it even more convenient. Great location!

Black Market Meal Prep – Menu with Prices – 424 S Main St, Orange

This place is ok, I’m not sure what the hype is all about. I appreciate the younger crowd and young business owner, hopefully this review can be useful to them. I paid $15 + tip for a burger meal with a water for a drink. If I had gotten a drink, it would have been almost $20 total for just myself. Pretty expensive for a fast-food restaurant, I can spend less money eating at a full-service restaurant like Island Burgers. I’m not seeing where my money is going, aside from substituting lettuce with raw arugula or raw collards. When I got my burger, I was expecting it to be ridiculously tasty, or at least a large effort should have been made to make everything from scratch. The buns have fancy burn marks on them, but they’re not made fresh in-house. The tomatoes on my burger were pink and tough, not red and juicy. My burger patty came well-done and was somewhat dry, I would have ordered it medium-well if I was given the option. The sweet potato fries must be frozen, I want to say they’re the same as the frozen fries that I buy from Trader Joe’s. This place has some fresh ingredients, and the interior of the restaurant is trendy and clean. But again, I’m not sure where my money went. If this were anywhere in the Midwest, paying that much money would mean I’d be eating one of the best burgers ever.

Mesa Food & Deli – Menu with Prices – 744 E Broadway Rd, Mesa

This store has lots of great freshly made food. Not alot of places have such a great deli. It’s definitely worth stopping by to pick from the selection of sandwiches. This is a full fledge mini mart so you can get cigarettes, alcohol and alot of what you might expect at a Circle K or something like it. This store is also a listed Ria Money Transfer location so you can send money to your loved ones anywhere on the globe so sending to Mexico is a sinch. Ria offers transfer fees that are better than MoneyGram and especially Western Union. Sending money via Ria requires more verification than others to make sure legitimate transactions are all they process. There are a lot of countries that are blacklisted from receiving funds but Ria’s verification process ensures you can still send money to one of over 300,000 Ria agents across the globe. Don’t bother with Western Union they suck. To send money I had to get a photo taken and show my social security card when normally basic info is only needed and they still kept my money from sending and they didn’t tell me so days went by before I got my money back and had to start all over with another money transfer vendor.

Lad & Dad’s Steak & Seafood Market – Menu with Prices – 4640, 3319 Demetropolis Rd, Mobile

Upon entering the store, I was pleasantly suprised at the set up of their shop (never been in a butcher shop before) and looked around for a bit. Noticed that they have a great selection of sauce and marinades, but as I decided to treat my family for the holiday weekend. I went ahead and asked for some 1 inch thick T-Bone steaks(3 to be exact). So he grabs a new slab and went to work. I, being as curious as I am, kept looking around through the frozen and refrigerated section until his wife (I guess) called for us to let us know it was done and ready for payment. I paid and headed straight to the house to soak them. Once I opened the packages, I was disappointed with the filet side of the bone.. I mean it was MAYBE 3 bites total but hell that’s even pushing it. I decided to cook the steaks anyway being that his shop is 30 mins from my house. But obviously, I won’t be coming back here. If I’m gonna spend the amount of money I did there. I’ll just go to fresh market. At least I haven’t gotten the shaft from them yet. I’ll drive the extra 15 mins to not get disappointed again. This happened about a month ago. Still have gotten steaks since. But I’m gonna try it out again for mothers day. Not lad n dad’s though.

Slow Roasted Bocadillos Downtown Menu with Prices Inside the Wells Fargo Building, 200 Lomas Blvd NW Suite 110, Albuquerque

I would’ve given 5 stars, but due to my dissatisfaction this past Friday, I had to give 4. My co-worker ordered me a farm salad which is my all time favorite, but due to being pregnant I requested that the goat cheese be left off as I can’t have unpasteurized cheese. She arrived to pick up the order and was actually present during the making of the salad and kindly asked the woman preparing it if the goat cheese wasn’t on the salad, she assured her several times that she had just prepared it and there was no cheese. Once I received my salad, I was disappointed to find that there was goat cheese all over the salad, which I couldn’t just pick or eat around. She called and was told that they had ran out of the farm salad and could either go all the way back to get her money back or just receive a credit. I appreciate the credit, but that I had to go and spend money again on lunch. I was extremely disappointed and very angry that I had to spend close to $20 on two lunches when it was completely unnecessary. I feel a little more angry that my co-worker was blatantly lied to. I’m unsure if I’ll ever order from Bocadillos again due to this experience. I hope the workers will pay more attention to orders when something is requested to not be added due to health precautions.

Burger King – Menu with Prices – 8922 Airport Blvd, San Antonio

I work the front desk over night at a near by Hotel and recommend many places to eat in the area to guests including this place but in the mornings around 7 AM is when we get off, and my coworker and I wanted to go get some burgers Saturday morning after work for ourselves which previously had not been an issue, it was about an extra 8 minute wait since everything was setup for breakfast but waiting a little longer was no problem for us and at the time was no issue for the Burger King Staff either. Yesterday morning however we stop by after work for some burgers, and sadly the cashier at the front told us she had forgotten to turn on the grills or whatever and that it takes about 45 minutes to warm up… sounds like BS to me to be honest as I’ve worked in the food industry for over 15 years years prior to my position now and I’ve never heard of a 45 minute preheat time, so unless you have pizza ovens in the back this just sounds like a bad lie for someone who likely just deemed burgers as being too much work for them during morning hours. But anyway we ask the cashier if tomorrow, Sunday morning everything will be ready, she says yes, and we even told her we would call around 6 AM just to let them know around 7 we’d be coming by to order some burgers after work, well of course this morning at 6 AM we call and SHOCKER!! someone different with another BS excuse about how they wont be able to make burgers until 8 AM. Its been probably 10 years since I’ve even visited a Burger King but this location had recaptured my interest when it was built near my work so I figured I’d give BK another try, but clearly 10 years wasn’t enough time for Burger King to get its stuff together and I am clearly better off sticking with Whataburger or McDonalds as they have proven to be far superior in operations and customer satisfaction. We will not be recommending guests here any longer if this is the service that is to be expected, staff just lies and and makes excuses while keeping customers waiting, we waited all night two different nights in a row for burgers but Burger king seems too poorly managed to be able to handle a simple thing like Burgers… your Burger King, I mean really?? If burgers are this much of a hassle to get here at “BURGER KING” then you might as well close up shop cause you’re losing business from the people who would love to give you a second chance and recommend you to their guests but as of today Whataburger will gladly be getting my business, and be first on my recommendation list to our guests.

Coastline Cafe – Menu with Prices – 707 N Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi

This café bar is in the Holiday Inn Corpus Christi Downtown Marina. Guests could sit at a few tables around the barâ??s fringe or at two-dozen or so bar stools. On different nights, I had two excellent build your own burgers â?? sautéed onions, grilled mushrooms, pico de gallo â?? with generous condiments. Burgers and fries arrived piping hot. I always got exceptional bar service â?? fast, attentive, courteous. Four large TVs aired mostly sports in mute mode. Country music played on Pandora; it was never too loud. Happy hours ended at 7pm. Their prices ensured happiness. The bar ran out of its only microbrew on tap. A new keg wasnâ??t up by next evening. As a hotel guest, aside from an empty keg, I was more than happy with the hospitality and found nothing to dissuade me from returning.

Whole Sol Blend Bar – Boulder – Menu with Prices – 1420 Pearl St, Boulder

I absolutely love this place. Right off Pearl Street Mall, it’s a convenient location for those who work and shop in the area. I came here for lunch on a Wednesday, and despite how busy it was, the line moved quite quickly. I got the PB&J with vanilla protein added in. With a base of peanut butter and oats, topped with a homemade raspberry chia jam, it’s like a much healthier take on the classic lunch sandwich. It was wonderful and surprisingly filling. I’ve also had The Mayan before, which is a dragon fruit base with fruit toppings, and it was light and refreshing without being overly sweet. The staff was very friendly and willing to offer advice and answer questions that I had. I am also a really big fan of how they ask about food allergies up front, especially as someone who is allergic to some things that others wouldn’t consider asking about. They use compostable plasticware as well, which is a huge plus for me! There’s also USB ports for charging your various electronics, which is super convenient. This was an easy 5 star place for me. I already can’t wait to try it again.

State 48 Funk House Brewery – Menu with Prices – 6770 N Sunrise Blvd g-100, Glendale

Other than the name, this location does not even come close to what we have come to enjoy at a State 48 brewery. The service is so bad and slow that we will not be coming back. Took over 45 minutes to get over cooked food, and in the unfortunate hour and a half we sat waiting our waitress stopped by once. It is extremely loud with bowling surrounding you, loud music and at times you are almost yelling so the person on the other side of your table can hear. Our appetizer came out with our food and even the food did not look complete. Bathroom was a mess and as I walked past the kitchen, it looked like a war zone. We wanted to just get up, leave cash for our beer and get the heck out of there. The beer is solid and that is probably the only good thing this location has going for it. If I was this location I would go spend some time at the downtown Phoenix or Surprise location to get an idea of what great service and great food are all about. Hopefully when the Norterra location opens, it will be as as good as those two locations and does not take tips from the Funk House. In all fairness, the staff was friendly, it just appeared they did not have enough kitchen or wait staff for a very busy Friday night. I am sure State 48 is reading Yelp reviews and hopefully some adjustments based on those can make this another great location for an amazing brand.

Virginia ABC – Menu with Prices – 560 Celebrate Virginia Pkwy, Fredericksburg

Odd location. On corner of 2 strip malls adjacent to one another. Only signage is as you pull in the back way between the 2 malls. No signage visible from parking areas. If i didnt know it was here, I’d never see it passing thru. Staff, was cordial. Not alot to coose from, all your basics, but not alot else. No frills abc store…then again, it is just an abc store.
