I went in to apply for a job and was greeted warmly and given a custard for free. When I went back for my follow up interview with the gm my application was missing so I had to fill out another. I spoke to the gm this time and felt as I was welcomed. He was supposed to speak to his boss and get back to me but I had to keep calling back as either he was gone or he was still waiting for the “final” processing of my application. When I asked if I should apply somewhere else the gm said yes. When I asked why he implied that the amount of time I had been incarcerated bothered him because one of his family members had given him a problem after having done some prison time. A gm should not discriminate on a person no matter their background. Very unprofessional and a serious lack of empathy. I have nothing bad to say about their food. Whoever heads this place needs to put some thought into replacing the gm to this place because what he has been through in life should not cloud his decision making when assessing a potential employee.

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery – Menu with Prices – 5835 E Arrowhead Pl, Sioux Falls

I was told from others, and online that they’re looking for immediate hires. I called and was told if I come in to fill out an application both hiring managers were on shift I could probably get an interview. When I went to fill out the application though, neither hiring manager was in that day oh, so I was told to come back the next day both would be back on shift. I went back first thing in the morning about 9:30, they hiring manager told me she was doing orientation and didn’t have time to visit with me, asked me to come back later in the afternoon. Of course this time, I called before going back to make sure both were still on staff and somebody would be available to interview, one of the hiring managers said yes they had a few hours open come on out. Of course wanting a job, and being more than qualified for the position that I was applying for. I did go back, one of the managers told me to have a seat she’d be right with me. In the 10 minutes that I sat there, I hardly seen any staff, I saw the manager back and forth a couple different times, she told me she try and find me application then be back with me, by the time she finally did get back with me, she said she didn’t have time to look for my application oh, she needed to be on the floor, but if she found my application should give me a call. What a disappointment, just bad business. If you’re hiring, make the time that you say that you have available for the applicants.

Montes De Oca – Menu with Prices – 455 Hialeah Dr, Hialeah

Let me start by this is my first review ever written. I have never been one to criticize but I actually felt like getting up and leaving in this place. It was a sunday noon time and the parking lot was totally full due to a large community church on the property which shares the tiny, crowded parking lot with montes de oca. It was a mission trying to enter the lot as the entrance is used as an exit by church members. The pizzeria actually keeps two spaces up front blocked with an orange cone for no reason. I got off my car and asked if I could park in one of those spaces as there lot was full and those were the only ones available. I was told NO, that those spaces are set aside by the owner.. “first no”. Ok so we waited and eventually we parked and entered the pizzeria. I walk in and I’m told “have a seat, any seat”. Great! I head over to a table away and I am told to move tables that I can’t sit by the window and I have to be moved to a table by the busy kitchen window. I asked to sit away from their busy kitchen window and I am given my “second NO”. I proceed to order a cheese soup with ham and ask for an additional order of Ham on the side. Again I am told NO, my “third NO”. At this point I want to get up and leave, I am told I can only have the soup if they throw the extra ham I am ordering into the soup. This is upsetting as I like to add my ham as I go and not have it get lost in the soup “Hence why I pay for additional Ham”. Service was obviously not what I expected. Food was great like always it’s pizza though. They were not accommodating at all. Customer service isn’t this establishments priority and they made that clear from their lack of empathy.

The Sports Fan Grill and Pub – Menu with Prices – 3360a Village Dr, Fayetteville

Very disappointed because my family and I are visting from Maryland and stop be because we were hungry and it looked like a decent establishment only to not be served because we weren’t members . the was no sign posted members only just that you had to have an ID and it was only two people at the bar at this time. And if its members only instead of telling us or even others in the future that they cant be served and asking them to leave why not offer a membership or advice on how to get one . seemed very RACIST to me membership or

Big Top Brewing Company – Menu with Prices – 6111 B, Porter Way, Sarasota

The beer is good. Plenty of beers to choose from. The inside has some character, but does need some work. Female bartender (Noelle) is great. She was very polite, and happy to assist with beers on tap. HOWEVER..I just witnessed a male bartender (Andrew) be very rude to a group of three older people. He asked their last name so he could find what I assume to be their credit card in the computer, so that they could add more drinks to their tab. The customer nicely told him that they have had trouble in the past finding their name, so she continued to repeat it a couple of times. Andrew stopped what he was doing to remind her that he heard her the first time, and is why he only asked her once. When he found the name and he verified their order, the lady apologized, and Andrew continued to humilate her, saying that he understands, but had only asked her once for her name. I was embarrassed for the lady as the area became pretty quiet around her. This lack of professionalism and empathy may be why I don’t return. Two stars, when this place has 4 to 5 star potential.

El Paraiso Salvadoreno #2 – Menu with Prices – 974 Kendall Dr, San Bernardino

I just want to write a review regarding their customer service here, which is beyond horrible. The lady who works up at the front and takes the customer orders and claims to be the manager. I don’t understand how she is the manager due to her unprofessional attitude. I called to complain and she answered and she stated she was the manager and she didn’t take my complain seriously and was also rude to me. I simply wanted to complain about the service they provided my family with. I really don’t know how they can run a business being so rude and unprofessional. Time and time again, I give them the benefit of the doubt but enough is enough. I will no longer go back and support a business that treats their customers so rudely. I would urge customers not to come because they would be treated like they don’t matter and there are also other good food spots in the area. I’m not the first to complain nor the last but I simply write here on yelp so my voice could be heard. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but this was necessary. I hope they take the measures that are necessary to create a better atmosphere for their customers.

100% Antojitos Mexicanos – Menu with Prices – 1201 S Jackson Rd #9, McAllen

I work for a good delivery service and called to place order. Lady taking my order was rude and unprofessional. Hanged up on me. I called her back and was rushing me telling me that she had other customers. Like if the customer I was ordering for did not matter. Is she crazy? You could gain more clientele with these food delivery services ,yet you treat is rude. Good luck with keeping our business. I would definitely not come here as a person client

Peak View Behavioral Health – Menu with Prices – 7353 Sisters Grove, Colorado Springs

Unprofessional, utter waste of time. As another writer shared, I called in the morning, described problem, to see if it was something they could help with. I was told yes! I was given an appointment for 9pm. My family were the ONLY people in the waiting room for 2 hours! We weren’t seen until 11pm. No explanation, nor apology. In the middle of the evaluation, the evaluator the took a phone call without so much as excusing herself. She Informed my child and I that she had to talk to someone, instructed her yet to be introduced side kick to continue the interview and left the room. No thank you. We left. Lovely way to treat a family in crisis. I am beginning to understand why the suicide rate for 18 and under has doubled recently in El Paso County. Will someone please connect the dots between the lack of accessible quality mental health care this epidemic?!

Glendale Womanâ??s Club – Menu with Prices – 7032 N 56th Ave, Glendale

Our family rented the Glendale Women’s Center for an after funeral luncheon. They were beyond amazing, nothing short of incredible. We were allowed entry the night before to do some setting up. The tables and chairs were already neatly placed and the establishment was clean. The woman was accommodating to our requests and so helpful. They helped to set up the day of, serve some food, went around to guests offering refill drinks, then came back around to collect trash. This was an extremely hard day for every person in attendance and these ladies alleviated a lot of stress that would have otherwise fallen onto other members of the family who were grieving. Bravo. I highly recommend!!

Taquizas Los Chuchys – Menu with Prices – 713 Broadway Ste I, Chula Vista

This has been the worst culinary experience I have ever come across. We ordered catering for 30 people and received what any ordinary person would consider to feed 15 people, maximum. When Maria, the manager delivered the food, she asked for the remaining payment and to my surprise, left without giving us the rest of the order. When I checked the three small half sheet (maybe 12×8) aluminum trays filled with meat, they were only filled to 2/3rds of the way. We also had 1) a shallow half sheet tray of rice and 1) shallow half sheet tray of horrible looking beans that looked liked they came out of a can, so a total of 5 small aluminum trays with tortillas and barely any taco toppings. I called the business and asked for the manger, they said it was Maria, the woman that rudely dropped off the food. Maria called me and I told her I think there was a mistake and we needed the rest of the order. She insisted it was the regular order for 30 people and said she personally saw the trays so the order was not mistaken. My family from out of town were coming over for my uncleâ??s surprise 65th birthday and I had food for 15 people. I begged her to come and see for herself that those three small partially filled trays were not enough food. I asked if she was not going to bring me the rest of the order to feed 30 people, then to come back, pick up the food, and return my money. She said yes, with an attitude and no help when I asked for the information of the owner or another manager. I was astonished at her horrible customer service and horrible perception of food portions. I took my money to @Carnval and bought food for 35 people to eat two times, two days in a row, with food still left over, and it cost me less than what they charged me. I will never order or give business to Chuchis because of the lack of consideration and customer service. I will Never order their catering for big reunions because they will disappoint. Maria, you are rude and very unprofessional.

Poelking Lanes – Menu with Prices – 1403 Wilmington Ave, Dayton

I have visited this location twice and the staff were completely rude both times. I think they all should take a customer service class. When people go to an establishment like this one, we expect to have a fun time and create some memories with friends/family. Itâ??s hard to do that when you have staff members who could care less about their own job, the business itself, and the customers that provide them their paycheck. I will never come back to this establishment or recommend it to anyone I know. Good luck on improving those team members!

The Human Bean Eugene – Menu with Prices – 3645 W 11th Ave, Eugene

*Updating* I was running errands with my daughter today when she asked for HB. She loooves their frozen hot chocolate. I decided to say yes and over to the drive thru we went. The girls working were so friendly and the service was perfect. The drinks as always were delicious. I decided it was time to update my review and add a star. My one bad phone call experience shouldn’t overshadow all the quality in person experiences I’ve had.* I’m torn on this review. While the drinks are tasty and the service at the window is typically friendly, the unprofessional phone experience I just had was a turn off. I called to ask questions about their cups. Are they compostable? Can I bring my own reusable cup? Etc. I didn’t get all that far in the call. It rang several times and then was answered with an annoyed “Hi.” I waited a few seconds for her to say something else but she didn’t. So I asked if I had the correct number and she said “Oh, ya. Sorry.” I asked about the plastic being compostabland had to wait while she asked someone else. The answer I got was “No.” I didn’t even bother with my follow up questions I just said thanks and hung up. I know I’m being picky but at your place of employment you should be professional all the time, in person or on the phone. I opted out of the coffee.
