They just lost a daily or even twice a day customer today! This is my first time to come inside Flame Broiler as I usually order by the drive thru. I ordered a small and regular tofu bowl and had to RETURN my order since it was BURNT. Before this, when I was paying earlier after the cashier opened the window, there was this disgusting burnt smell that came out. I was hoping that it wasn’t the food that I ordered. After this, I went to another fast food restaurant and while waiting for my order there, I decided to check the food. The food was BURNT!! The smell was so nasty! My family was hungry, waiting for their food, and I received BURNT FOOD?!! So, I had to come back inside this fastfood chain but the Manager was gone already. The staff in the kitchen were just looking at me and they knew why I came back. They were not even apologetic!! One staff member was looking at me with a gesture that looked as if she would say, “So what?” You just lost a customer!! The cashier was apologetic but not the people in the kitchen!! The cook does not respect the customer. Extremely RUDE!!! Even they would not taste the food he cooked!! I’m very disappointed.

Chicken Salad Chick – Menu with Prices – 2855 Medical Center Pkwy F, Murfreesboro

Walked in at 1205 and there was no line to order! Cashier was friendly and welcoming. There seemed to be plenty of staff and the place was packed inside and out… There were several people waiting for orders and they were expressing concern that they were waiting a long time… One lady said she was waiting 25 minutes. At 1225 my name was called and I grabbed my order and was out the door trying to get back to work with not only my food but I had bought my wife food as well. I should have checked the boxes… Her order seemed right except her side dish of broccoli salad was wilted and rubbery. My order was completely wrong, won’t sandwich, wrong side and no scoop. I checked the receipt got back in the truck and went back to the restaurant. Again the line was short to order and plenty of people at the front of the store. I went to the pick up register and tried flagging down one of three people who were walking back and forth. After 5 minutes someone asked if I needed help and I explained what was going on, she laughed grabbed the box looked at the guy in the kitchen and said “hey Will remember that order mix up, well here it is!” They all had a quick chuckle and a few minutes later “Will” plopped my container back in the window. A different employee grabbed it asked what it was and came over to me. She was unclear of what was going on but at least was apologetic. I checked the box , looked like it was right and left. Finally at 130 I was back at work eating quickly at my desk so I could make a meeting 15 minutes later. This is the second time I’ve had this the of experience but at least the first time the staff was apologetic and sincere unlike this time. In a town with so many food options customer service and focus on detail have to be#1. I can get chicken salad elsewhere or do without.

Noah’s NY Bagels – Menu with Prices – 2030 Douglas Blvd Ste 14, Roseville

Went to Noah’s bagels today on Mother’s Day . It was pretty busy . My mom and I told the cashier we wanted ours to be extra toasted but not burnt . She asked if we meant double toasted and I said yeah as long as it’s not burnt . Apparently she didn’t put extra or double toasted on our order , she just put ” steamy , not burnt “. That’s fine , I don’t expect everyone to understand or get things perfect . The reason why I rated this 2 stars is because my mom didn’t enjoy her bagel and said it wasn’t toasted enough and it was soft and lukewarm . I told her I’d take care of it because it’s Mother’s Day and even if we’re just having a bagel , no one should have to eat something they don’t like . I walked up to the cashier and nicely told him we asked for double toasted but we didn’t get it double toasted . After some talking back and forth he took down our order again and re- made it . That was good and fine except the girl working in the back who actually made our bagels the first time decided to get loud and announce ” NOBODY ASKED ME TO DO DOUBLE TOASTED THEY JUST SAID NOT BURNT ” . The way her voice was elevated and the manner in which she was speaking was rude and completely unprofessional . I decided to stand there the whole time while waiting to watch them make the bagel and she kept complaining and talking in a loud voice saying more rude things such as ” IF YOU WANT ME TO GET AN ORDER RIGHT YOURE GONNA HAVE TO SAY IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME ” at one point i heard her joking with the other coworkers who all looked fairly young and I heard her say ” why even come ” and ” stay home ” in regards to my order . I was not happy at all with the unprofessionalism of the staff there and I was even more displeased that the nice man who helped fix our order seemed to ignore or behavior and did not correct her or shut her down . I would never go to this place again simply For how I was treated and how the staff doesn’t seem to take manners or customer service seriously AT ALL.

Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken – Menu with Prices – 5940 Far Hills Ave, Dayton

I rarely go in fast food chains and when I do my expectations are set very low. The first thing I notice when we walk in this place is the overwhelming smell of old grease. It was so nauseating I would have left but my kids really wanted fried chicken and we had reached that “hangry” stage. So we ordered. And I really feel all kinds of terrible saying this but the person taking our order probably should have been doing a job in the back, not customer service and not operating a cash register. I had to repeat myself many times, it took forever. Then waiting for our food took a long time (we were the only ones in the restaurant, there was a steady stream of drive thru customers). While we were waiting the cashier gave someone the wrong order. Found a hair in my daughter’s chicken. Oh and when you order a “meal” it doesn’t include a drink. The cashier didn’t explain that until I asked for our drink cups. Bottom line: if you are in the area and you just have to have Arby’s I guess this is your only option. But if you just want fast food, or fried chicken, don’t do it. Just don’t.

Oddfellas Pub & Eatery Tacoma – Menu with Prices – 5741 N 26th St, Tacoma

Nothing special. We’ve been here twice and each visit had something that was sub par. Today’s visit sealed the deal for me to not be a repeat customer. My wife and I ordered the Pub Burger and both of our buns were burnt. My wife’s bun was obviously burnt on top. I mentioned something to the waitress but there was nothing really done to rectify it. The bigger issue I have is that the kitchen actually sent out the product. The burnt bun was super obvious and you think it would be re-toasted before reaching our table. Oh well…. Only reason for two stars is my 1 year old really enjoyed the grilled cheese. At least that wasn’t burnt which in the long run is what really matters. I really want to like this place especially since I live right down the street and is basically in walking distance. But as I previously stated, I will unfortunately not be returning.

Hickory Log Bar-B-Q – Menu with Prices – 5047 Welborn Ln, Kansas City

The location was decided on by an employee who is transferring to another department. Well, the BBQ restaurant is ran by a husband and wife team and was well informed that we would be coming during our lunch hour (12:00pm – 1:00pm). The first few of us arrived at 11:50am. It’s 12:10am and I notice that the wife is going to run the show on her own. There was another table of 6 and a table of 3 that she was serving as well. She took our order at 12:16pm. When she returned with our drinks she was mixed up; also with our food. The beans taste like pork n beans out of the can with their vinegar BBQ sauce. The burnt ends (with I was ready for) were so darn tough) I was so disappointed. My boss ordered burnt ends as well and hers looked more like what the should look like and moist. I couldn’t eat them…nor did I try. This place really don’t know what real BBQ taste like. I knew they would because it was a little hole in the wall, owned by a mom n pop and I smelled the smoke down the street. I’m tellin ya’, don’t let the smoke smell fool ya! I will never return nor try it…even if it was catered at the job. Sorry. Pros: What I did like about the order of service is, the food was delivered as it prepared not all at once. Oh! I forgot to mention that was a total of 24 in our party. Now, I’m waiting patiently on my burnt ends so I can rate how the food tastes. Horrible! Crap! Tough! I’m disappointed! Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Food: 1

Ostioneria Bahia – Menu with Prices – 4429 E Chapman Ave, Orange

Its unbelievable that every single person I encountered at this restaurant was extremely rude. About 15 minutes after checking in with the hostess we asked her how long the wait for our party was. Instead of responding with “I’m not quite sure” or “let me check” she said with a serious face “If I had a table for 8 I would’ve seated you already” Are you kidding me? This is how this place is training their employees to respond to their customers? Unbelievable. Moving on to our waitress, she wouldn’t even make eye contact with us while we placed our order and kept cutting off every member of our party in the middle of ordering. A member of my party ordered the mixed fajitas but asked for the steak to be on a separate plate and our waitress responded with “the kitchen wouldn’t want to do that because it’s going to back them up” How in the world is a two second delay of moving the meat onto a separate plate backtrack the WHOLE kitchen? To top it off somebody else in the party ordered a carne asada salad. It took over 15 minutes after we had received our food for the salad to come out. To end this all, after the 30 minutes of waiting for the food, one member of the party ordered TWO enchiladas, and that took another 15 minutes. 45 minutes for TWO cheese enchiladas. Terrible service all around and I really hope they control their employees the amount of disrespect today by each employee was unbelievable. If it wasn’t for the actual food itself being good, I would make sure people knew how terrible the restaurant was and for nobody to come here.

Chick-fil-A – Menu with Prices – 106 W Campbell Rd, Richardson

Time of visit 8am This isn’t the same experience as every other Chic-Fil-A. It’s a watered down version to its own demise. The food is spot on but takes longer the less people in the restaurant I guess. As I waited in line, the customer in front of me thought he was missing a drink. Instead of trying to find a solution, the cashier mutters something to the other cashier and tells the customer “no, you didn’t.” And just stares at him until he has to ask how much it is. The Chick-fil-A I’ve always known is helpful and courteous to a fault. Personally, I just want to be left alone. Haha I dined-in watching that same cashier call out names from the other end of the kitchen, while to go order people are clearly waiting under the “pick up” sign. Then the cashier couldnt even hand it to to go order customers, she drops them on the counter like feeding the dogs. The same cashier puts my drink cup in the marker. Like I want a spill and that’s what it’s made for.. If to go orders aren’t being auctioned off, you can hear the kitchen playfully cursing and joking around. Meanwhile the floors aren’t being swept or table tops cleaned. The manager did come by, But I already saw what they’re made of by watching operations. That and the thought that the manager is restocking condiments while the rest of the staff clearly needs managed doesn’t tell me they’ll get things done. The one person that really finished my visit off was in a black Chick-fil-A shirt with a hair net. He asked if he could take my tray as he happened to be right in front of the trash can- professional and courteous. That’s the Chick-fil-A I know. On another note, I saw an accident happen because of the parking lot when i got there and when I left. There has to be a better way especially by the dumpster. Somebody was almost t-boned.

Shingen Soba Sushi Bar – Waikiki – Menu with Prices – 255 Beach Walk, Honolulu

NOT kid centric. I don’t recommend you bring kids. Mind you, kids love noodles. This place prides itself on its housemade noodles. They get one star for well prepared noodles. And, zero for service. We arrived at 630pm telling a staff member that we had a 730pm reservation made on OpenTable, but the little ones were hungry now so if they had room, we’d like to eat sooner. I had in tow 4 kids, for a total of 5 seats. She said okay. POINT 1- I recommend you stick with your reservation. We waited 45 minutes with no one coming out to check on us to give me an update. We saw staff gesturing from inside the restaurant toward us, and we were sitting on benches at the entrance, so obviously they knew we were there with the little ones. I kept telling the children we’d be eating soon. POINT 2 – I got the highchair myself. When, we were invited in, the seating staff member saw both of the little ones. He walked past the highchairs. So I picked one up with one arm while towing the little one with the other. POINT 3 – They have kid appropriate dish and service ware, but you need to ask for it, along with asking for napkins. POINT 4 – NO recheck on our table during the meal. The only times we saw staff, were at the points of food service and bill presentation, which I had to ask for. POINT 5 – They told me that the four 2 seater tables that became available, while we were waiting, they were saving for guests in sets of 4. I had 5 so they wanted to seat us where a group of three were eating because that area we’d be out of the way. We were in the ingress/egress of the kitchen. A chef kicked the highchair (hopefully accidentally) coming into the kitchen. POINT 6 – I felt in the end, they didn’t want us there. My impression from the website and reviews was that Shingen was good for kids. Nope. Not in my opinion. Enjoy, if you are a small party of two adults. ?

Buddy Chicken And Boba – Menu with Prices – 20 City Blvd W, Orange

4/5/19 2 star for customer service//3.5 for food/drinks …came here to grab a quick bite and drink. I noticed their menu changed a bit, they now have combos which I actually like. When we got in, there was no cashier at the store… but the cook was there to take our order ahead. We waited about 3 minutes and we saw the girl walking in, she didn’t look very apologetic that we had to wait for her to take our order. Our popcorn chicken and fries came out first, because the girl was still taking orders from the others that was also waiting behind us. We finally got our drinks. Our combo only came with one sauce, so we had asked for an extra. (The combo really needs two sauce, to be honest!) The girl said it was .25 cents extra (you would think she would just comp that .25 knowing we had to wait for her to return to her job) So we just paid it. As we were eating our combo, the girl left again… she went across the way to get her lunch(to go, I guess her order was ready) I’m just saying, it’s really bad customer service when you have to wait to be served….we too were on limited time. It was just the overall experience was not very pleasant. If the girl’s attitude was more apologetic, it would have been a diff story. I just came here for the plum popcorn chicken. I’m a fan of their plum popcorn chicken and their sriracha dipping sauce. I always get the green peach tea boba. Refreshing! Service here is pretty quick, staffs are cool.. Get your boba k

Outback Steakhouse – Menu with Prices – 4518 W Wendover Ave, Greensboro

The dining atmosphere is a definite upgrade from the previous outbacks in Greensboro. Server was great and food was greater. Only downside is when my family wants take out. Their curbside take-away service has very friendly servers but…I’ve been here since 7:35 and its now 8:06 and still waiting along with 5 other cars. This is my second take-away experience and the first one was so long I had to go inside. Hope management can fix this it would help a lot with customer irritability……… Ok so I came back to edit this post. Time spent at outback tonight waiting on my order was from 7:35-9. I didn’t even want to check my order I just wanted to get the heck out and back home. My wife ordered a medium well steak and she now has a very rare steak. Manager and take out staff were very apologetic and I kept calm and was friendly back. The other hour long waits from other customers were not so nice. Manager said dinner was on them. But soon found out she couldn’t do a refund at the moment so she wanted my address to send me something in the mail. All i have to say is I’m tired. My kids are asleep. I missed my time after work with them due to waiting on dinner and I hope they fix what ever the problem was. I really just hope someone from outback will see this review and fix the problem.

Born & Bread Bakehouse – Menu with Prices – 1113 Florida Ave S, Lakeland

I tried this place on a Saturday morning, around 10am. The wait in the line outside was about 15 minutes. The inside wait was then around 10 minutes. It’s fairly warm and very loud inside, since the space doesn’t really accommodate the number of people trying to get in. Ordering was easy, the presentation of the menu items was nice, and the decor was very cool, however, with lots of little plants everywhere. The packaging of the food was really disappointing though, with everything being stacked loose in the bottom of an oversized paper bag. The icing from the cinnamon bun was all over everything else and the bag. The sausage biscuit sandwich was dripping on the cookies. Also, they made no effort to separate the peanut butter cookie from the other items, which should always be VERY important for a restaurant, considering that some people have serious food allergies. I also had the unfortunate incident of forgetting my phone in the bakery’s bathroom. When I went back to look for it, it wasn’t there, so I asked a staff member. Rather than checking with the other staff members if it had been turned in, she said they did not have it (leaving me to assume it was now stolen). After an hour of stress and searching and driving around, I returned to the restaurant to ask AGAIN, after discovering that they have NO phone number. The same girl then pulled my phone out of a drawer and handed it to me without apology. Maybe they were busy and maybe my phone wasn’t important to her, but I feel staff should take a customer’s lost property more seriously. I wasted my whole morning waiting in line for messy food and searching for something that could have been found easily if they had an appropriate lost & found system/policy in place. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience after reading such positive reviews.
