Its still new and working out kinks but service was friendly and prompt. Food was fabulous. We will definitely be coming back before we head back home. Potatoe salad was great ribs and bbq sauce was top notch !!!!

T.O.P. Cakes ~Talk Of the Party~ – Menu with Prices – 2323 S 17th St, Wilmington

Traci was so wonderful to work with! She went above and beyond for my order. My pickup date was scheduled for September 7th, two days after Hurricane Dorian came through. Traci contacted me prior to Dorian to check on my party plans. I told her I still planned on having the party she told me as long as she had power and roads were good that my order would be ready! Traci is great, prices are very reasonable and the cake was delicious!!!

Greco Fresh Grille – Menu with Prices – 12806 S Tryon St Suite 282, Charlotte

My wife and I found Greco Fresh Grille in the Steele Creek area during our hurricane evacuation from Hurricane Dorian. We stopped in to rest and grab a bite to eat. The Grille was spotless and had a great atmosphere. My wife got the lamb gyro and I watched her eyes roll back in her head after her first bite. She said it was amazing! Best she has ever had! I’m not much of a “foodie”, so I just got the chicken kabobs and the hand cut fries. But, there was something different about the chicken kabobs – the taste was outstanding. We were told they had been marinated for two days before being prepared and it showed. Delicious. To top off our visit, the owner was kind enough to give us a piece of homemade baklava (I think he felt sorry for us evacuees) and it was out of this world good. What a great find! We only wish there was one close to our house – we’d be in there a few times a week, guaranteed !!!!!

Dulce Vida Mexican Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 642 6th St, Miami Beach

Came here with my parents, wife, sister, and her bf during Hurricane Dorian. We’re visiting from DC. Maria & Mayra were great! All of our questions were answered, the food was great, and super fun conversation; we had a blast for lunch!!! Huzzah! This place is 8 months old but is full of heart, hustle, and bustle, and the take out orders were being picked up constantly while we were here. This place deserves to be much more known! Tbh, we came looking for the Cuban sandwiches next door but they were closed; ended up “settling” for Mexican and boy are we glad we did! Note: Family recipes for everything here.

Kirkendolls Eats&Treats – Menu with Prices – 280 E 70th St, Shreveport

Wow! We went to go to a place across the street that was closed and out of pure luck we stumbled upon this magical gem of BBQ. This is a family owned small dive that ended up being some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. I don’t even care for BBQ but when my wife and I left I didn’t leave with leftovers. And the price is amazing! 5 bucks for three chicken options that includes two sides a drink and a cookie. It’s better quality and more than what you could ever get fast food. I can’t believe how much each of us got for 5 bucks! I ordered the BBQ wings with dirty rice and potatoe salad and I would highly recommend both sides. My wife got the breast, which was HUGE!!!, along with potatoe salad and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was perfect. All in all this place is worth every penny spent and a hidden gem!

German Guys German Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 10438 Waterloo Rd, Stockton

My wife and I had lunch here on a Thursday, I mention this because they are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. As soon as we entered the door we were met by the waitress who graciously seated us and took our drink order. We would later find out that this young lady and her husband were the owners. There is a lunch menu and a dinner menu. There are additional items on the dinner menu. We both ordered the Pork Schnitzel. My sides were the potatoe salad and the noodle salad. My wife had read a comment from someone else about there being peas in the potatoe salad. I liked the peas. They added a sweetness that I enjoyed. The noodle salad included white chicken chunks which was a nice extra protein. My wife also had the potatoe salad which she enjoyed. Her second side was sauerkraut. I tried a bite of the sauerkraut and decided next time to have it as one of my sides. Let me say here that I was not exposed to German food growing up like my wife was. Throughout our lunch my wife was reminiscing about her mom’s German influenced meals. When our lovely waitress asked if we wanted mustard or ketchup with our meals my wife said yes to mustard, because that was how they ate Schnitzel as children. I really liked it with mustard too. We were too full to have desert but seeing Yelp pictures of the Apple Strudel makes me want to try it the next time we go back. As we were about to leave the husband/Chef came into the dining room and was speaking with another couple there. By the time we paid our bill, this young German couple had ingratiated themselves to us both. This is another family (mom and pop) business that is deserving of our (and your support) to succeed. I am looking forward to coming back and expanding my introduction and appreciation for German home style cooking.

GD Barbeque Menu with Prices 2504 Government St, Baton Rouge

My husband brought home his leftovers for me…so thoughtful. Regardless it was delicious, some of the best BBQ I have had in a long time and the husband agreed too. The brisket was perfectly cooked and the ribs were excellent! The ribs had the right amount of pull when you bit into them…note ribs should not be “fall off the bone” that is called pat roast. Thank you to GD pitmaster for knowing how to properly cook ribs. The potato salad and beans were very tasty. I will return for my own meal very soon.

Bay Barbeque – Menu with Prices – 59 N Florida St, Mobile

Wow! What can I say?!?! The ribs are AMAZING!!! I drove all the way from Ft Walton Beach to get some of these delicious ribs. I had a full rack of ribs with the majority of them having the regular dry rub and 2 ribs with the exotic rub. Both rubs were amazing and the exotic had a slight kick. These ribs were not only falling off the bone, they tasted amazing. They had just the right amount of smoke and the flavor was awesome. DO NOT use BBQ sauce on these ribs, you will kill the flavor! Good BBQ doesn’t need sauce! The owner was very humble and eager to answer any questions I had about the ribs. He is a former veteran and offered me a military discount. I will definitely be back as soon as I can get back to Mobile. Too bad we don’t have ribs this good in the Florida panhandle!

MYRTLE BEACH RESORT – Menu with Prices – 5905 S Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach

I have been going to myrtle beach resort since I was born. My family has owned a few of the properties but since then have sold. It is one of my favorite places to go and feels like a home away from home for me. However, during my last stay I was less than impressed. The staff was rude from the very first day we came to check in. Half of the things in our room were broken including the kitchen drawers, living room TV, and toilet. The room had a great view and we had it booked for 7 days. Unfortunately we had to leave after 2 days because of hurricane Dorian. We had called down to the front office and the lady on the phone actually laughed at us for calling and asking for instruction. She said that they were closing all the pools but “we didn’t have to leave if we didn’t want to” during this mandatory evacuation. She then stated that I would only be eligible for a refund for the days that the mandatory evacuation was issued. That means that if there is an evacuation Tuesday-Thursday and we leave I wouldn’t get refunded for Friday-Sunday. They then sent out an email saying that they were getting too many calls and that they didn’t know what to do yet but outlined the refund policy again. I am less than impressed with the staff and I don’t think they even care to do better. I am only giving 3 stars because of my past experience.

Moe’s Gas and Grill – Menu with Prices – 401 S Northshore Dr, Knoxville

Went here a couple days ago to try their new menu. It was great. I tried the ribs, greens, cheese grits, gumbo, and shrimp salad. I gave it 4 stars only because the gumbo wasn’t the greatest. Don’t get me wrong, it was tasty just not something I’d rush to order again. The ribs though, ridiculoussssssss! My wife doesn’t eat ribs and she had no trouble eating one. They were smoked ribs and had a dry rub on there that makes you want more for sure. I’d definitely go back. The chef was awesome too!

Mac’s Bar-B-Q & Catering – Menu with Prices – 5412 Slide Rd #100, Lubbock

Let me first begin with the positive. The green chile mac n cheese is delicious. Green chile has become popular to add in to different foods and it doesn’t always work but this definitely does. The chopped brisket sandwich taste great as well…it is kind of fiery and I enjoyed it even without the bbq sauce. My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito too. What can I say…the food is bomb and always fresh. Ive also tried the baked potatoe with brisket and the potatoe just melted in my mouth. Some bbq places you can tell when the meat has just been nooked by the microwave…not this place. Now for the disappointing part of this review…on 1 occassion I ordered a potato and they were out. But before knowing they no longer had any potatoes the guy charged my card. They said they refunded my account but I’m still waiting on my $8 credit. Then I took my mom because I had raved to her about the macncheese and when we got our order home they did not put the mac in our bag ugggggg so sad. But when i called they apologized and said we could pick some up along with dessert for the inconvenience. On a different occasion they forgot to put our banana pudding in the bag. My advice check and double check your order b4 leaving the drive thru window.

Pat Gee’s Barbeque – Menu with Prices – 17547 County Rd 26, Tyler

I haven’t been to Pat Gee’s since I was a kid, but glad I was finally able to go back and relive some memories. We got brisket, ribs, and potato salad. The brisket was tasty, but wasn’t as tender as preferred and probably could’ve used a few more hrs f smoke. The ribs were dry, but the tasty sauce made up for it. Best potato salad I’ve ever had! There was some sweetness to it, which I really enjoyed.

Nawty Hogg BBQ – Menu with Prices – 12975 Collier Blvd Ste 100, Naples

This review is for the brick and mortar store front off of Collier Blvd. Went there 5/17/19 around 5 pm. First impressions, light on ambience. Looked clean my husband said washroom was impeccable. Our order was pulled chicken and pulled pork. It came with one side each. NO fries. Poohey! Husband said his chicken was just ok, he had cole slaw with it, and would have preferred French fries. $10 seemed high for what you got. I had pulled pork that was good, but only with the house bbq sauce otherwise is was unmarkable. Roll was awesome. My side was country potatoe salad which seemed more like mashed potatoes with mustard & mayo. I did not like it at all. $10 also. To their credit they did have a happy hour. My husband looked at menu and said the ribs were $26 and some change. WHAT? $26 – the rib places e.g. Rib City, Michelbobs, Texas Tonys don’t even charge that. No, no would never spend that here. Don’t think we will be back. Expensive for what you get.
