OLD EARTH Pure Organic Food – Menu with Prices – 6105 54th Ave N, St. Petersburg

This place is the BEST!!! I’m originally from California and I had to drive almost an hour to visit this cute little spot but I’m so glad I did! I happen to live in a healthy food void. The community I live in is pretty narrow when it comes to healthy let alone vegan, raw, gluten, corn and soy free. So to walk into this amazing place and have friendly service and great food was well worth the drive. I had the tostada. So much flavor!! Every bite was so delicious I didn’t want the tasty train to stop. I also had the housemade chia pudding. In house coconut mylk, dates and chia seeds. Not just tasty to someone who eats raw vegan but seriously universally tasty. It was like a better, lighter tapioca that isn’t going to give me guilt later. This restaurant made me want to be a better vegan cook. I’m so glad I visited and when I come back I’m bringing friends!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Menu with Prices – 2380 Lifestyle Way Suite 140, Chattanooga

Healthy smoothies and healthy food… ahhh yes, please. Got to go to tropical smoothie on their opening day and was really happy and surprised by their quality and selection of food options. Really convenient to park especially because they’re one of the first businesses to open in a brand new center. I had a Cali Chicken Flatbread and a Chia Banana strawberry smoothie. Both of them were great and I definitely recommend them. I’m really glad that Tropical Smoothie has come to Chattanooga as I’ve heard lots about them from other people and glad to have an awesome healthier option that is so close to the highway!

Cafe Red Point – Menu with Prices – 2727 N Cascade Ave #175, Colorado Springs

Great quality foods. Their mean green machine smoothie is simply amazing! ð??? Their menu is health conscious, gluten free and paleo friendly with local and organic ingredients. It’s fresh! This is my new favorite place in the Springs to grab a smoothie or a quick and healthy breakfast or lunch. I will definitely revisit. I 100% recommend giving this place a try. They’re also very reasonably priced. With the quality, the nutritional value, the fresh organic ingredients and supporting local and it’s affordable this place is simply phenomenal I wish I could give it to the first!

SOHO Juice Co. – Menu with Prices – 2200 4th St N, St. Petersburg

This is the best açaí bowl in St. Pete and I have tried my fair share! They are the most quality ingredients you can find and they do not add ice to their mix, fruit only!!! The portions are either 16 or 24oz for bowls but they also have smoothies and now food items as well! They have granolas, “peanut butter cups”, donuts and cupcakes! All of which are super healthy, all natural, quality ingredients you can trust and feel good about putting into your body. I like to eat my bowls for a kick start breakfast, light lunch or on the go snack. I never feel bad about eating them if it’s a snack because the ingredients are so good for me and keep my energy levels up! The fresh fruit or seeds or drizzles you can get on top are always so ripe and delicious. I recommend this super food store to anyone, not just the health conscious peeps! I am by no means a calorie counter, hard core gym goer, I just enjoy quality food that taste delicious and that’s what this is!

Bread & Sons – Menu with Prices – 195 Bank St, Ottawa

We were attracted by the scent of their fresh oven baked pastries just cooling off on the shelves and we had to go in to take a peak. We noticed a lot of people inside self serving and picking out the pastries they wanted into their boxes. We picked out a few pastries and cheese buns and took it to go …boy was it freshly baked and warm. I had a few already and I don’t regret it. Service : super pleasant and helpful very nice staff and they seemed to care a lot ! They explained to us which ones were popular and the different kinds of pastries ( some were savoury and some were more sweet) Ambiance: it was fun and the smell definitely wooed us in …. lots of great varieties. Overall, definitely recommend this little bakery as its a cute hidden gem and if you’re in the area and you’re looking for a quick bite of delight I totally recommend you trying this place out so delicious

Artichoke & Vine Menu with Prices Sanctuary Centre, 4800 N Federal Hwy Building B Suite 101B, Boca Raton

It is difficult to assign a star rating here because it all depends on what you are looking for. If someone is looking for a different type of dining experience and, to feel as if they are eating healthier, they will be pleasantly surprised. There is definite talent in the kitchen. The service is friendly. The place has a fun, upbeat vibe. If someone actually wants to eat healthy, they will be disappointed. The menu is soy heavy. Most, if not all soy, is GMO. How they restaurant can advertise that they are GMO free is baffling. A vegan stuffed pepper sounds amazing. But, it is stuffed with processed, artificially flavored fake meat. This is the same stuff you can buy in the freezer section at a grocery store. Their impossible burgers are what you can get at the drive through at Burger King. “Natural flavoring” and, a host of unidentifiable ingredients go along with this processed, shipped in fake meat. “Natural flavorings” can mean literally anything. The food may be tasty but, it is no more or, less healthy than what you can get at a typical chain restaurant. Everyone, obviously, should eat what makes them feel good and, hits the spot for them. If the average customer wants processed fake meat in a pepper, then it is what they should have. The pet peeve I have is when there is a false impression that because a place is vegan it is automatically healthy, guilt free food. In fact, they shouldn’t even be passing their food off as vegan because “Natural flavorings” in processed food can pretty much be anything.

D?Oliva evoo Pizza & Grill – Menu with Prices – 1009 N Bodine St, Philadelphia

Awesome new pizza spot in the ‘hood! I love Dolce and was excited to hear they opened up a pizza spot in Liberties Walk. Since they’ve opened, I’ve been here a few times already, grabbing some slices for dinner. They re-did the entire interior of what used to be another pizza place, upgrading the decor and making it look very pizzeria/sicilian-like. They always have an array of pies, all with different toppings, for you to grab slices from – and plenty of vegetarian (and even a vegan option or two), as well! The menu has so much more than pizza, such as burgers, salads, strombolis/calzones, and more. I’ve only eaten a few slices, but they can custom-make any type of pizza you’re looking for and the other items on the menu sound great too. Given their initial cafe, I know the quality of the ingredients are going to be top-notch and the food will taste great. Will be back a lot! And they’re BYOB!

Stella’s Modern Pantry – Menu with Prices – 20 SW Broadway St, Ocala

Great healthy options and super friendly staff (that even make recommendations if you struggle with a decision). They also have many items for sale in the gift shop (cooking gadgets, aprons, kitchen utensils and wine, just to name a few). My friend had the artichoke/sundried tomato flatbread & loved it, while I had the roasted vegetable sandwich (on a baguette) with a side of chick pea salad. Delicious! All fresh ingredients and farm to table practice. Would highly recommend.

Tia Maria Panaderia y Pasteleria – Menu with Prices – 44 Sebastopol Ave, Santa Rosa

Sometimes, a place is so darned good, you’re glad it’s not closer to home. Tia Maria is just such a place for us. Costeaux croissants, for starters. And the same finesse and attention to detail and quality that delightful institution has always demonstrated, brought to traditional Mexican breads and pastries. And local favorite Bella Rosa Coffee as a worthy accompaniment. In a word, wow. The place is lovely, with giant, colorful paper flowers on the walls and great Spanish-language music in the air. Warm, welcoming, helpful staff and customers as interesting and diverse as you’d see in a bistro or coffeehouse in New York, Paris, or San Francisco. But the stars are the pastries, made and filled with the best ingredients and techniques my wife and I have experienced since we moved to Santa Rosa more than 14 years ago. If like both of us, you weren’t blessed to have a fantastic Mexican aunt and baker in your family, your days of disappointment are over. Visit Tia Maria Panaderia y Pasteleria. Whether you eat there, take out, or both, you will leave happy.

Tarntip Thai Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 507 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Fredericksburg

I don’t want to badmouth a place I have loved for a long time But what can I say? It’s just not the same. I always get Pad Woon Sen, and it’s a shell of what it once was. I’m not leaving a low star rating because I want them to go back to being the Thai place I loved, or maybe a reinvented version. Make sure the sauce is ON POINT. Adding many vegetables that aren’t important or valuable to the dish won’t make up for bland and dry meat that is hard to get through. Fewer but more quality ingredients will take you a long way. Give it a try, encourage their growth.

BF Bakery & Cafe – Menu with Prices – 430 N McKinley St, Corona

I have to be honest when I say that for a short period of last year, I sent my hubby here practically everyday to bring home a mexican blueberry bun for me & me alone . This bakery is located in the 99 Ranch Market off of McKinley St. They have a huge selection of asian pastries. Me being Korean, i’ve had my share of pastries from every asian country you can imagine. But last year I was introduced to a Mexican blueberry bun…… it was love at first bite. I questioned the girl that continuously brought out fresh pastries, why they named it Mexican bun?.. her answer was because it looked like the one’s they make…. hum? Ok? I’m married to a Mexican. She probably had no clue… so I didn’t get crazy as us asian can get. I figured that’s what she was told so oh well , I’ll except her answer and continue buying out their entire inventory. I didn’t care who/what/where it was created. … I just knew it had me at hello. It’s in a large puffy /Simi sweet/ toasted bun stuffed with blueberry puree /cream. When I tear into mine , it looks as though I’ve performed a operation on it , because I have to have a portion of the cream on every bite of the bun…. loved it! This year is a whole new story. Because of a couple issue’s, I no longer eat them…. ? until this day. I don’t know if it was time or my taste bud’s, but something was definitely different. The filling was not a tasty as i recall. Maybe it’s my imagination but it’s not a item i must have everyday anymore. I still recommend you coming in trying something because they really do have fresh baked pastries all throughout the day.

Made coffee – Menu with Prices – 107 W Amerige Ave, Fullerton

This is one of my favorite study spots. The owner and workers are all very friendly, and I always receive top quality coffee, specialty drinks, and pastries! Single Origin Pour Over ———————– Usually I order Cappuccinos, but they do the pour over so well here! I forgot what beans I picked, but to be honest, I have not had a bad pour over from here. If you love quality black coffee, I recommend getting yourself one! Coffee Cake ———— The pastries seem to look and taste similar to the ones at Intentional Coffee, and I mean this in a good way! The owner told me that they receive the pastries from a bakery, and they sure are tasty! This Coffee Cake has just the right amount of sweetness to pair with the Pour Over. Deliciousness that is perfect for a pick-me-up! ————- This coffee shop hasn’t been around for very long, but I highly recommend coming here if you have not already! A note for those who plan to come here to study: {PROS} – Good Wi-Fi (I personally never had a problem with connection or speed.) {CONS} – Limited Outlets – Except for the big table in the middle, not very comfortable seating – Bathroom is in another building next door, but access key is provided. Although it may seem like a lot of Cons vs. Pros, I mainly come here for the products, the service, and the ambience, so I do not mind tolerating these Cons!
