These pretzels are amazing – they are soft and crunchy and perfectly salted. The dips were delicious (I thought I was just getting Honey Mustard, but it turned out to be Honey Mustard BUTTER which was amazing beyond my wildest dreams). We are going to be getting these pretzels from now on! The kids are fighting over them, so next time I’m going to get more!

Crofton’s Pretzels – Menu with Prices – 6014 Oleander Dr, Wilmington

Tried this place on its grand opening day. The owner and cashier were very friendly and welcoming. They let me stay a few minutes past their closing time so I could eat one of their hot pretzels. They make pretzels Philadelphia-style, which are thicker, doughier, and more elongated than traditional pretzels (per Serious Eats). Since I arrived close to their closing time they were out of crab cheese and spinach artichoke Parmesan pretzels. Regular plain pretzels are $2 each and specialty pretzels are $3.50 each. If you want a dip for your pretzel, it’s $0.50 each. Dips are either yellow mustard, honey mustard, spicy mustard, whole grain mustard, polish mustard, or cheese. The plain pretzels, sugar glazed pretzels, and chocolate filled pretzels were at room temperature in their display cases. All of their specialty savory pretzels are heated in their oven before serving. I tried the chocolate filled pretzel, which I thought tasted okay. I bet it would taste way better if it was warmed up. I didn’t ask them if they could warm them up so it may be worth asking. I also tried the pimento cheese pretzel, which was amazing. Since it was heated in the oven, it was served piping hot. The pretzel dough was perfect, so soft and doughy and topped with just the right amount of rock salt. The pimento cheese was delicious. The middle of the pretzel was my favorite, because there was a huge amount of melted pimento cheese. Pretzels are baked fresh daily. The leftover pretzels at the end of the day are delivered to breweries or homeless people, which the owner is still figuring out.

Angry Goldfish Pub & Eatery – Menu with Prices – 2301 SW 9th St, Des Moines

After seeing so many good reviews from here, we finally had to check it out and were not at all disappointed! It definitely lives up to the hype!!! We came in for my dad’s birthday and had an amazing early dinner. Our server Maddie was fantastic and super friendly. We started off with their Angry goldfish crackers, which were actually not as spicy as I thought they were going to be, they have a nice heat but not burn your mouth off! And are super cheap! We also ordered the Beer cheese dip with pretzels and that is one of the best beer cheese dips I have had in the metro! The pretzels are super soft and buttery and I did keep the cheese dip to use on my fries because I couldn’t let it go to waste. I ordered the Boursain burger with Parmesan fries, and it was to die for!! So much pesto, melted cheese, and caramelized onions made it rich and delicious! The Parmesan fries were also delicious and perfectly cooked! (they are especially good with the beer cheese) My hubby ordered the Crispy chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce, he really enjoyed it and said it was delicious and pretty spicy! My mom ordered Fish n chips and the fish was cooked perfectly and had a great tartar sauce and coleslaw, also served with a hefty portion of Parmesan Fries. My dad ordered the Graziano’s Meatloaf and it was full of flavor, their angry ketchup was delicious with just a bit of heat! The mashed potatoes, corn and cornbread (with homemade honey butter) also great! Overall AMAZING food/service/atmosphere, will definitely be back!! * Just a note- get here early because there is VERY limited parking and it’s not a big place! (If you have a larger group you may want to consider car pooling)

Philly Pretzel Factory Menu with Prices 5924 Tilghman St, Allentown

What a disappointment!! I called to order a catering tray of pretzels and pretzel dogs for my employees. I also ordered some assorted dips. I thought it would be a nice treat. Boy did I think wrong! When I called I was scolded and told I should call at least a day ahead to order a tray of pretzels. But they said they could take my order anyway. I requested a pickup time for an hour and a half later. I picked up my order and took it immediately back to my store to feed my employees. As soon as I opened the container I knew… the pretzels were at least a day old! Rock hard! I spent $45 to get scolded for ordering on short notice and receive the worst pretzels I’ve ever had! I mean, if I had called a day prior then what?! Would they have been two days old?! Never again!!! So disgusted.

Zwick’s Pretzels – Menu with Prices – 12415 107 Ave, Edmonton

I ordered a bunch of pretzel nubs and some cocktail sized pretzels for a birthday/boardgame night for adults. I inquired about how many of each item they would recommend for the size of party I was hosting, and their reply was swift and informative. Pretzels were delicious, the dips were a hit, and everything was eaten by the end of the evening. I would definitely purchase from here again in the future!

The Escondite – Menu with Prices – 1325 E Madison St, Seattle

I have dreams about the food here. The amazing thing about these dreams is that I can actually go and get their food once I wake up. Sadly that’s not the case with my dreams about being able to fly.

Honey Hut Ice Cream – Menu with Prices – 4674 State Rd, Cleveland

Great, basic ice cream. I do see them trying to get fancy with monthly flavors now, but ehh, stick to the classics. The honey pecan is what they are famous for and it is so amazing. It’s salty and sweet and has crunchy pecans in it. My other favorite is their chocolate peanut butter. They put so much peanut butter ribbon in it. I’m obsessed. Get the two together in a cup and it’s the perfect combo. I also like their cookie sandwiches and ice cream bars (just the vanilla, raspberry not so much). The ice cream bars are ginormous. I only wish they would make them in other flavors like they used to with their coconut ice cream. I think they would be really good with honey pecan too. While I’m talking about things they should bring back they also used to make a monkey business sundae that was my favorite. Hands down the best tasting peanut butter sauce. And I feel confident saying I’ve tried all the ice cream places Cleveland has to offer.

K & R Pretzel Bakery – Menu with Prices – 1700 Flesher Ave, Dayton

This pretzel bakery is a hidden gem in the Dayton area! It’s hidden back in a residential neighborhood and I think you need to be in the bakery in crowd to know about it. I moved to the Cleveland area from the Dayton when I was younger and K & R was and is a stop that always has to be made when I head down for a visit. The first thing you notice when you walk in the door is the smell of fresh baking pretzels. It’s heavenly! If you’re lucky (or if you ask nicely ) you may be able to get pretzels that are fresh off of the belt. (THE BEST!) These pretzels are soft and chewy with the perfect amount of salt. By the time I get back to my car I am ready to devour the whole bag and I usually do put a hurting on them! Ha! And aside from the pretzels, they also have other things that you can buy. There are all kinds of candy, sugar waffles, etc. Now excuse me while I go hop in my car and take a 200 mile trip to go and buy some much needed pretzels!

Auntie Anne’s – Menu with Prices – 1120 Southcenter Mall, Seattle

I don’t usually eat pretzels but I like the selection of pretzels here and the dipping sauces. Some days they have $1 pretzels , that’s a freakin awesome deal

Daisy Dukes – Menu with Prices – 5209 W Napoleon Ave, Metairie

This restaurant is quiet and small so you could very well pass it by. I’m here to warn you that if you do you are missing out on something wonderful! The first day we went oh, yes the first day our server Alicia greeted us and smiled when I asked what was in the picture that I showed her from Google photos, she said “Oh that’s the Bananas Foster French toast. It’s really good” So of course I went with that and the fried green tomatoes and she smiled again. Completely unprompted she also bought out a French roll and honey butter. It was so good so so good. The honey butter is amazing. Try it on the biscuits ppl. The Bananas Foster French toast should be on their sign. It’s so unique and delicious. It’s literally French bread with a banana Foster puree magically wedged into it somehow and the bananas Foster’s sauce in the bottom of the bowl. I am not the biggest fan of bananas but this was a masterpiece. The fried green tomatoes were the best I’ve ever had as well, insanely flavorful with a light but crunchy fry! Please don’t look at them as footnote because they really do deserve their own praise! Me and hubby were beyond pleased. The migas omelet is also a winner!

Ampersand Ice cream – Menu with Prices – 1940 N Echo Ave, Fresno

Awesome first experience!! All of the servers were very nice and knowledgeable. So, there were 5 of us here to try ice cream. Here are the reviews: 2 chocolate chip cookies: they were really tasty. Not Granny’s homemade, but they’re a close 2nd or 3rd, easily. The Center was soft, edges a little crisp and sprinkled with sea salt. Yum! 2 mini scoops of Raspberry Sorbet for the kids (aged 5 and 6): they loved it and asked for another scoop. 3 scoops of Bordeaux for the teen (13y/o): “It was good, I liked it. I really liked it.” 2 “flights to-go” aka 4 scoops in a large cup. Flavors are as followed: Apricot, Cherry & Goat Cheese: AMAZING!!! Not pungent at all. The flavors married into a deliciously smooth and creamy surprise. I loved it!! Bordeaux: Very nice flavor. Much like See’s Candies Bordeaux candy…chocolate with a hint of espresso. Honeycomb: Delicious and buttery. A bit on the sweet side, but not too sweet, with crunchy pieces of honeycomb throughout. Whiskey Salted Caramel: This is tied for my favorite alongside the Apricot, Cherry & Goat Cheese. Salted Caramel is an all-time favorite, but the hint of whiskey flavor takes it up a notch. Overall, very pleased with this experience and I will be returning on my next visit to the Valley.

Cabot Farmers’ Annex – Menu with Prices – 163 Commercial St, Portland

THIS PLACE IS SIMPLY LIFE CHANGING. This store is the only reason I venture down to Commercial Street. It is purely a DELIGHT of epic proportions. This store offers samples of cheese. Free samples of cheese. FREE. CHEESE. The front of the store includes numerous cheddar samples, including aged and sharp, extra sharp, etc. They also usually have their hot honey out to try too. The back of the store is where the party starts. There are probably a dozen cheeses available for sampling. The hot habanero cheese is truly magical. As is the garlic and herb. But don’t miss the everything bagel cheese, for this may open your soul to a new religious experience. There’s a plethora of fun cheese-related trinkets throughout the store, including cheese cookbooks, cleavers (and mini-cleavers!), dips, and things to dip into dips (pretzels, crackers, other delicious items). After you sample enough cheese to pass as a meal, stop by their cooler and grab some blocks of their VERY reasonably priced cheese. There are speciality cheeses, pre-cut cheeses, THERE’S EVEN MEAD IN THAT COOLER. Also, there are paintings of cows everywhere. This store is a stone’s throw from my office, so 80% of my lunch breaks are spent chatting with the superbly friendly staff and deciding which new cheese(s) I should purchase. It can get crowded in here, especially during tourist season, but you MUST SNEAK IN AND BASK IN THIS PORTLAND LANDMARK. If you don’t, you’re missing out massively. TEN STARS FOR THIS MASTERPIECE.

The Pretzel Shop – Menu with Prices – 2316 E Carson St, Pittsburgh

This place is located in the historic Southside neighborhood of Pittsburgh and holds a lot of history itself. According the its website, the pretzel shop still uses the same brick oven that made pretzels back in 1872. The food here is not particularly healthy by what do you expect from a pretzel shop? What you will find here is a wide variety of pretzels, pretzel sandwiches and even pretzel bites. The store also provides a variety of dipping sauces from honey mustard, cheeses, ranch, cream cheese, etc at just 50 cents a pop! For your sweet tooth, there’s a case of cookies, rice crispies and other sweets you would find in typical bakeries. Don’t worry, there is also a wide variety of drinks to quench your thirst. The customer service here is very cut and dry. You place your food order at the counter and the person behind it asks if you would like it cold or warmed up. Then you pay. It’s a very fast and efficient process. The prices are also very affordable … dare I say, cheap? I would definitely recommend this place. It’s a SouthSide staple which I hope lasts generations to come.
