Overall fairly good coffee when you are in a hurry. Double sided drive up window with surprisingly reasonable prices in comparison to some other coffee shops in the area. They have a stamp card here as well so you can get a free coffee after purchasing 10 if you are near by or a regular. Considering the options in the area (not much) this is definitely worth a stop for coffee.

Uncle Chuang?s Bakery – Menu with Prices – 3740 Iowa Ave #109, Riverside

Great for a quick snack with very college-friendly prices. Highly recommend their Spam Musubi, Egg Tart, Flour Cake, Taro Ube Ice Cream Sandwich, Teriyaki Chicken Bun, and loaves of “Toast”. Haven’t been disappointed by anything yet. Spend $7 and you can get a free hot or iced tea, or hot coffee (their iced green tea tastes vaguely like jasmine and is very good) and a stamp for your stamp card. 10 stamps and you get a free cake roll ($6 value) plus your stamp card gets put up on the wall. Sometimes they will give you a small store branded gift like a pin or a pen when you complete the card. Employees are always nice and friendly, but forget to offer the free drink at $7 fairly often so be sure to ask if you want it! I’m about to fill up my third stamp card – no regrets.

Bentley’s Coffee – Menu with Prices – 2195 Mission St SE, Salem

I’ve normally always had a great experience. In the last month I’ve had two incidents that I’m not happy about. At one point I had 30 stamps (saved up and also forgotten stamp cards) one stamp card got wet. I reached out to see if they could do anything about it. They could only see “8” okay whatever at least I got some stamps back and I was grateful even though they didn’t take my word for it. Bought a coffee hoping I would get it for free so theres stamp #9… so now I have 29 stamps. I take them in to get them combined and use one of my freebies.. I keep my 9 stamp card because obviously theres no combining that. She hands me back my 8 stamp card ð??? ugh okay just two stamps off but still I paid for those stamps. She has already filled in my freebie making it one whole 10… says she counted it. I did too multiple times to be sure. I handed her an 8, and two 6s.. I reached out again.. nothing they could do because they “don’t want to lose their job” I get it. But this person knows me and knows I am an honest person and I’m not handing a ton of stamp cards in hopes to pull one over on her.

The Roastere at Treasure Valley Coffee Menu with Prices 11875 W President Dr, Boise

What a magical place! Wall to wall coffee, conversations, smells, sounds, energy! And I am not kidding when I say wall-to-wall coffee. A coffee drinkers dream! I have been here a few times but no time is more magical than a Saturday! I had to wait in line for a bit but it went fast. Breakfast sandwiches, bagels, lattés… all being ordered. The amount of coffee selections can be overwhelming so I always ask at the front, this is what I am looking for, which do you suggest? The most recent one I am going to stick with for a few is the Hawaiian blend, oh my monkey, it is amazing!! A little cream, a pump of organic honey and my Saturday was already compete, and so early too! (Self service cream and sugar bar). If you like to try coffee, this place is awesome to sit down with a friend and try as many coffees as you want before you buy. In a hurry? Have a dollar and some change ready to leave in the “In a hurry” container located on top of the what seems like 30 coffee blends lining the que (line). Are you tired of paying way too much money for coffee at a non-local place? Come here! The biggest coffee is $1.50! Want to take some home? Looks like 14oz bags of coffee are $9+ (I think $9.99). This is a great place to have meetings, do your homework, hangout. There are large relaxing and meeting areas not only in the bustling area but also a whole separate room. Plenty of parking, stamp club (buy five get one), they have coffee happy hours, and after 4:30 pm, coffee is free because they close at 5 ( I know this about weekdays not sure about weekends. Call to double check happy hour prices.) Great Idaho gifts to be found here. Want a smile for free, come here you will leave happy!

Espresso Milano – Menu with Prices – 319 W Mukilteo Blvd, Everett

New route to work, I’ve been to this place a half dozen times now. Same barista: unfriendly, barely speaks and doesn’t offer anything but a straw..no upsell like stamps or pre-paid card or God forbid some chocolate covered beans or a sucker. Nothing to entice a return, yet still I went. Last week a new (friendly) girl was there and I bought a prepaid card and she gave me a stamp card too. Went there today and ScowlyFace was back. Told me the other girl was, “WRONG!!!” about giving me a stamp card and took it away from me. Then she repeated, “I AM THE OWNER AND SHE IS WRONG!”. I couldn’t even muster words, so I just blinked and drove away. With coffee stands on pretty much every corner, I can’t see wasting any more of my time to get scowled and screamed at. Methinks not.

Zoom Zoom Espresso Menu with Prices 845 Lincoln St, Bellingham

Situated out of the middle of everything with the exception of the university parking lot, sits Zoom Zoom Espresso next to the car wash south of Lakeway Blvd. Great location, hardly, but the coffee is consistently done to perfection and the customer service is amongst the best in the area. A drive by window for ordering is offered for both those headed North or in a Southerly direction, but there is a comfy indoor dining area offering free wi-fi for those wishing to sit a spell and blog away. There’s a surprisingly full snack and breakfast menu offered whether you’re driving by or hanging out for awhile.Zoom Zoom is owned and operated by local coffee icon Shelly Ness, and the coffee stop offers everything her establishments have gained local favor for. Great product and friendly atmosphere with the service done right. It’s a regular stop for me, and when my dogs are in the car with me, they always insist in driving by for the dog biscuits that come with the coffee. They like Zoom Zoom a lot.

Espresso 4U – Menu with Prices – 1413 72nd St E, Tacoma

This is a great little coffee shop. They have the convenience of a drive thru on both sides of the building, but you can also just walk up to either window. They have a punch card that gives you a free drink of your choice after 10 punches, and punches are based on what you spend, not number of drinks! They have gotten my order correct everytime I have ordered there, even with picky special instructions. They are friendly and greet you with a smile every time. They mainly just have drinks, but also have a small selection of muffins available. Shots are NOT burnt as other chain coffee shops do!

Fremont Coffee Company – Menu with Prices – 459 N 36th St, Seattle

One of my fave coffee shops here in Seattle. It’s close to my work, and free parking spots in the area. Walk up the old stairs to a an old house with an old door knob (love this), and enter a comforting space that feels like home. It smells wonderfully caffeinated. I stand in line for my almost usual mocha made with either oat or coconut milk, depending on my mood/stomach. There’s always the one cheerful and polite barista with the long red hair (forget his name), and the others are nice and have their own colorful character too. The machines all possess funny anecdotes about computers rotting your brain or cell phone usage in line being a buzzkill (get it, buzz). I almost always get mine to go, with an occasional pastry, get my frequent stamp card punched, and look forward to the latte artwork in my cup. For times I stay in, there is plenty of seating in the various rooms or outside on the porch. Wi-fi is complimentary for a given period of time, and there are power outlets everywhere as well. The bathrooms aren’t spotless and it’s recommended you hurry to do your business (time limit). Who ruined that for everyone, I wonder…. Very tasty mocha lattes, and pleasant vibes.

Cuppa Cuppa Coffee Company – Menu with Prices – 6606 Mission Gorge Rd, San Diego

This was a random greatly needed coffee stop and I was completely blown away! I was chatting to the super pro barista about how I just can’t have chai tea lattes anymore due to my last one from Starbucks. I was placing an order for their amazing peanut butter iced mochas and it was delicious. It was evenly blended, thick and smooth with a perfect balance of mocha, peanut butter and expresso. I was offered a free sample of their almond milk iced chai tea latte and I couldn’t believe how good it was! My mouth was watering just after the first sip. It was love at first sip! This is an awesome little locally owed coffee shop! Their service is just as great as their coffee. They also offer a stamp card reward incentive. I been here only twice but I know there’ll be more to love!

Undergrounds Coffeehouse – Menu with Prices – 23889 Newhall Ranch Rd, Santa Clarita

This is easily one of the nicest coffee shops in the area; and the fact that it’s an independent coffee shop makes it all the sweeter. They have a modest food menu, but they stop serving it at 1PM, so if you’re not an early eater, don’t count on this as your lunch stop, unless you count pastries as a meal. I’ve always thought Verve was a safe choice for coffee, as the only coffee shops that serve it really know how to brew their coffee. This one was no different. As with most coffee shops worth their salt, these guys have a few signature drinks of their own- which do tend to be on the sweeter side- and can please just about any palette. I tried the Iced Havana Latte which is made with condensed milk and has the perfect balance of sweetness and bold coffee flavor. Thanks to the thickness and overall sugar content of the condensed milk, the coffee never really got watery and tasteless as most iced lattes do, even hours after taking small sips. The main winning point of this place is probably the beautiful interior and relaxed nature of the overall space. Hanging plants, comfy sofas, and even a patio invite you to come in and set down your burdens for a while.

Sam’s Club Bakery – Menu with Prices – 7151 Walton St, Rockford

This was my first time inside a Sam’s Club, but I shop at Costco back home in California and seems surprisingly similar. Sam’s Club is a big box retailer that sells food in larger quantities/containers at low prices. In order to shop here you will need to purchase a membership which can run you $45-$100; this place is packed so there must be a whole lot of people that think the cost savings are worth it. Sam’s Club has a huge produce section and thanks to the free samples I can assure you that it is fairly good quality. I tasted several types of melons and we ended up purchasing three different types. Te met department is quit extensive and we purchased several different cuts of raw chicken and ground beef as well as some processed sandwich meats. We had the chicken for dinner tonight and it was pretty good. Sam’s club has a bakery and a wide selection of wine and purist. Looking for clothing? They’ve got you covered. Household appliances? Patio furniture? Snacks? This place is huge and full of bargains. There is even a snack bar inside and plenty of seating where you can enjoy your lunch or dinner. Best of all are the free samples – today it was pizza, fresh fruit, and Powerade. I’d just come from lunch and didn’t take advantage of them. This place is worth checking out.

Joe’s Italian Ice Menu with Prices 2201 S Harbor Blvd, Anaheim

Joe’s Italian Ice is located across from Pho Ha Plus, with its own (small) parking lot and dog friendly outdoor seating (there is some indoor seating available). My husband, our little girl dog and I came by last Friday afternoon, around 3:35 pm. After looking over the menu, we ended up getting: La Bamba, $5.99 (tax included)- This frozen dessert consist of chamoy Italian ice, dole whip, chamoy sauce and tajin. My husband ordered this one and loved it. I don’t like the taste of chamoy or tajin so I didn’t have any. Great size for one person. Reg Joe Latti, $5.99 (tax included)- This dessert comes with your choice of flavored Italian ice and vanilla ice cream. I decided to get strawberry Italian ice. I liked that this dessert also has ice cream inside at the bottom of the dessert too so it isn’t just on top. Loved the strawberry flavor and surprised to see small bits of strawberry in it. The ice cream really goes perfectly with the Italian ice and would recommend getting the latti if you don’t know what you want (you get the best of both frozen desserts). Free pup cup of mango Italian ice- Dogs get free Italian ice and on the day we came, the girl at the register asked us if mango flavor would be okay (she said that is what they give dogs but not sure if the flavors vary). I was surprised to see pieces of mango in the Italian ice and I liked the flavor (my dog seemed to like my strawberry Italian ice and ice cream more though, lol, because food taste better when it’s not yours). —————————- (Total= $11.98 with tax) Wait time to order took a little over 5 minutes. Current Yelp check in offer is one extra stamp on stamp card. Once you get 10 stamps, you can redeem it for a free Italian ice or a Joe Latti (please note that they do accept expired stamp cards). I have to say that the Italian ice here is better than Rita’s. Authentic Philadelphia water ice with flavors made fresh and perfectly sweetened. Love this place and will definitely come back. Please note that there are restrooms but you will need to ask for the key at the window. I didn’t use it so I cannot comment on its cleanliness.

Grounds for Thought – Menu with Prices – 1833 W Southern Ave, Mesa

Oh man, SO GOOD and I’ve only tried two different types of drinks here. I highly recommend the Iced Wookie if you want a strong, creamy coffee drink. (Similar to an iced kicker or a white chocolate mocha if you know what those are). I get this as a treat since it is pretty pricey (around $4+) although they do have a stamp card so make sure to get one of those. You can get a free drink of your choice once you get all the stamps. I’ve tried their iced teas which they make for you. Takes a bit longer, but the berry one is A+ if you don’t drink coffee. The service is always great and they’re so so friendly (especially the location nearby the library). They have two locations, with the other one being in the cafeteria. Both are great!
