this place is great for austin, but as an overall taqueria in the states, theyre missing the burritos. not this baby tex mex crap where you get a mid size burrito, i’m talking about muy grande tortillas. other than that, this place has it down. the meats, the tortillas, the chips, everything. inexpensive and high in quality. highly recommended if you’re tires of the gringos in austin ruining mexican food.

Los Carboncitos Menu with Prices 15210 E 6th Ave, Aurora

Where do I start, first of all they don’t get some actual certified installation in the restaurant. How the fudge is it colder inside your restaurant than it is outside, we waited 35 minutes for chips and salsa. Everything is overpriced if you go to the carneceria restaurant down the street on 6th Ave better quality food for much more affordable pricing. Plus you’ll thank me cuz it’s the best mexican food ever. Their huaraches are a joke. Los burritos y los tacos todo Mierda. Esto es comida por los gringos que son pendejos que no saben que es comida mexicana.

La Colonial Tortilla factory – Menu with Prices – 212 N Copia St, El Paso

Outstanding burritos and tortillas! My mouth is watering from thinking about their freshly made burritos and tortillas. These burritos and tortillas are probably some of the best in town. Their tortillas are light and fluffy, straight up perfection! My favorite burrito is the picadillo. The ground beef has a great flavor. It tastes even better when you add some red or green chile in it. Watch out, their burritos are on the small side so you might be able to eat two or three at a time. I’d like to try their chile relleno burrito but I haven’t yet. I’m also interested in trying their tostada chips and chile con queso. I hear La Colonial sells out of their burritos fast so you have to go by 9 or 10 am. You can also call in your order. There’s nowhere to sit so you’ll have to eat in your car or destination. Take some cash too. Aside from burritos, they have tamales, tostadas, tacos and the prepared masa to make tamales at home. They close by 2 pm on weekdays and they aren’t open on weekends. Imagine if they closed later and opened on weekends?

McDonald Tire 2 LLC Menu with Prices 10020 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge

Updated today June-03-2019 Had a flat tire on my brand new car by the time I got here. They didn’t have one but they got on the phone and located me a tire and then they actually went and got the tire and I was out of here pretty fast. This is the best and fastest tire shop in town or anywhere around that’s for sure. They also stand behind what they do! Tires aren’t sexy nor the funnest thing to shop for but if you have a car you have to buy tires and this is the best place in Baton Rouge for all your tire needs. They have the best price in Baton Rouge are anywhere around here. If you hate wasting your day buying tires then again this is the fastest place in and out with all 4 tires balanced and installed in under 30 minutes. I used to spend hours and hours at places like Walmart but for the last 10 years I buy my tires at McDonald Tires. 4 new tires balanced and mounted with tax & everything only &352 and I only spent.

La Jalisciense Tortilla Factory – Menu with Prices – 2650 Bagley St, Detroit

My parents loved Mexican food which may explain my love of it as well. They would normally eat at Armando’s (Mom dated Armando for a few weeks when she was in high school in the 50’s) and Mexican Village over on Bagley. Usually after dinner, we all would walk over to the tortilla factory and buy some still warm tortillas. There is nothing like a warm tortilla. Nothing. That was 1968. But La J has been doing good tortillas way before then. In all that time, La J has been doing tortillas in the D. Same location, same recipe and same unflagging quality.. The only reason for getting one star off is that the flour version do not come in zip lock bags. The price is decent, 79 cents for 10, and they are as good as any other brand, maybe a little better. Maybe someone who has been eating them for more years than I have been alive could tell the difference, but in my not so humble opinion, a tortilla is a tortilla; and since I cannot make tortillas to save my sorry ass, I will continue to leave it to the professionals. I am fortunate to live close to SW, and have a choice when I buy tortillas. I mix it up between La J and La Michoacana. Its not like I’m buying a car here, but as long as I live in this city one of those brands will be in my freezer or on the shelf of the friderator.

El Roy’s Taco Truck – Menu with Prices – 760 Sebastopol Rd, Santa Rosa

That burrito or those tacos you want? The only ones that will satisfy that sudden, insistent craving for delicious, delicious Mexican food items that are also affordable and made by friendly, caring people? They’re here. The meats are perfectly prepared. (Try an al pastor-lengua combo and be transported.) The beans, rice, salsas, and supporting ingredients are all tasty and fresh. Even the tortillas surrounding the burritos are notably soft and flavorful. Truly some of the best interpretations of these classic tastes I’ve found in Sonoma County. Plus at least one thing I’ve not seen since visiting Tijuana years ago: the “Mexican hot dog,” wrapped in bacon and topped with multiple goodies, including jalapeno slices. Yes, it’s wrong. Yes, you’ll want two. El Roys Mexican Grill will please your palate without emptying your wallet. Go. Satisfaction of your cravings is mere minutes away. In a truck.

1960 Cocina – Menu with Prices – 1810 Willamette St, Eugene

There are Mexican restaurants and then there’s Cocina. Most Mexican restaurants follow the tired formula of cheese enchiladas in a bland green sauce, flautas, tacos with uninteresting seasonings, flavorless rice and beans, margaritas made from a mix etc. and then providing enormous servings to compensate for the boring food. It’s a testament to the Mexican cuisine itself that we’ve patronized these places in spite of that. But now there is a fine alternative right here in Eugene; some of the best we’ve had anywhere; including Mexico. The homemade sauces are unusual and unusually good. The meats are tender and imbedded with rich, deep flavors from marination and braising. The tortillas are housemade as are the chips. Every dish has unique flavors and textures with every bite a savory treat. The restaurant is small and always seems to have a lot of cars in the small parking lot – so we aren’t the only ones enjoying this place. This is our go-to Mexican restaurant now; equivalent to Sabai for Thai food or Marche for Pacific Northwest cuisine in terms of quality of food. Go!!

El Paisano Restaurant at the Rise – Menu with Prices – 1000 E Apache Blvd suite 102, Tempe

I got the crane asada fries and a veggie burrito (other burritos) from here and honestly it’s the most mediocre Mexican food I have ever had in Arizona. They don’t do anything interest with their food, has no acquired food taste or have any interesting or yummy ingredients. Everything is basic, the sour cream, the sauces the fries the meats. They add nothing special to their recipe. They barley season their meat. The burritos are 7/10 if you catch them on a good day, but generally this place is not worth the price. If you’re looking for good Mexican food, you’d much rather head next door to taco bell or Filiberto’s. The staff are really nice but the food is just so disappointing ?

Senor Burrito – Menu with Prices – 900 7th St, Sacramento

I can understand the other reviewers giving the kindly old man who does everything himself a glowing review. And I empathize with his plight. As a vegetarian, there are only two veggie burritos on the menu. The Chile Relleno and some other miscellaneous veggie option. I got there around noon and he was all sold out of the Chile Relleno one so I got the regular veggie. I don’t know when he expects to close up for the day, but at least keeping enough to go around until 3PM seems appropriate to me. If there are no breakfast burritos on the menu, then when does he pull up his cart? That ‘s what it is a street cart. Not a food truck, but a cart. The cart has the ability to let you wash your hands, but it seemed to be broken. I guess people lose enthusiasm. At $5, it should have represented a good value, but I don’t think it did. I didn’t taste any cheese, melted or raw. There was a lot of potato. Who knew that Mexicans were big potato eaters. Not too much beans or rice or any other things you would get at a Chipotle. No tofu or egg or breakfast burritos. The chips were really good and the quality of the tortilla was excellent. The salsa was too hot for American tastes. If they wanted to charge me $8 for a burrito with a little more oomph and get the hand washing thing fixed, I would consider it a good deal. Still, for chips, salsa and no tax or tip, $5 is a good price. He’s been there for 20 years. I think he has just stopped trying and is just going through the motions. Sure, you get excited by authentic Mexican food because so much Mexican food isn’t real, but this may not be the best implementation of that true Mexican food. Also, if he is doing everything himself, then his food lacks a woman’s touch. That little bit of lime or lemon juice. That little bit of salt. These are the kinds of things women do better than men. I think women are just naturally better cooks than men. Also, he may be cutting corners on things like forms and taxes, which would set him off balance, psychologically. He is cash only, so we don’t know what is going on. I didn’t try any of his dead animal carcass burritos, but at $5, where is he getting meat that doesn’t come from a diseased animal? Did any of the other reviewers think to ask him this question? Another reviewer commented that he skimps on the meat, but that says nothing about the quality. He needs to make a profit, right? I would say, go to Chipotle and spend a little more.

Lolas Restaurant Menu with Prices 1061 Mettler Frontage Rd W, Bakersfield

The most unexpected gem ever: fresh, delicious Mexican food, cooked and served by two kindly abuelitas in the most run-down, depressing Valero gas station and store you ever saw. PROS: Fresh, spicy salsa, home-made chips and tortillas, and lean tender beef in the burritos. (I had shredded beef; mi amiga had carne asada—-we each pronounced our food excellent.). Reasonable prices and they do accept credit cards. CONS: Only Mexican beers and crappy American beers on sale in the store. NO TOILET PAPER OR PAPER TOWELS IN THE FILTHY RESTROOMS. But definitely a rustic and delicious experience! Joe Bob says check it out if you ever find yourself in this remote neck o’ the woods.

Los Arcos | Mexican Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 1791 Marlow Rd #6, Santa Rosa

Popular place on the westside of Santa Rosa. Service was attentive. You choose salsas as you arrive at the salsa bar in disposable plastic cups…ugh. These green and red salsas were fine and served with chips. I had the chicken chimichanga and he had a chicken burrito. I actually had guacamole and pico de gallo served with mine, but he had no toppings. He said he loved the way Chipotle does their burritos. The meat is seasoned. That’s why we loved the Mexican place in Ukiah some much. Their burritos were very flavorful. We were spoiled in Colorado with great Mexican food in abundance and burritos there are smothered in green chile sauce with guacamole and sour cream. We’re not fans of pico, too many onions. However, this establishment does serve alcohol and has a variety of veggie and vegan options to choose from on their menu. So that’s good to know. The Los Arcos in Denver metro has very good food. It is a large restaurant with Mariachis. Every Mexican place we’ve been to here is a tiny place, which may fit 50 people. At any rate, we’ll keep trying to find that perfect place in Santa Rosa for Mexican food.

Filiberto’s Mexican Food – Menu with Prices – 2980 W Ina Rd, Tucson

Wow, just wow, we saw that KFC was gone so we pulled into the drive thru, of this new Filibertos when we saw crazy sky high prices for simple burritos, we tried to back out but were by then captive customers with 2 cars behind us. No biggie, figured 20 bucks for 2 California burritos they’d be huge and worth it. Not even close for this top 10 poorest parts of the country. Got these things home and no salsa, wasn’t even asked or given a choice. Did they hire the old KFC crew or what ? Omg 2 burritos for 20 bucks and the things were tiny. I figured oh well I bet they are fantastic tasting like other Filibertos places I’ve been in, not near this spendy mind you, nope, ice cold tiny puny things, the tortillas were stale as well as the French fries instead of diced potatoes and omg the onions were raw as well. Maybe the curse of KFC is on this place and for the price these things shoulda been hanging off the edges of our plates. Not even close. We live 3 minutes from this place so that didn’t contribute to ice cold burritos. Honestly I don’t expect anything free and in my opinion these weren’t even 3 dollar burritos. I realize they have to pay the workers 75 bucks an hour- joke- thanks to the idiot voters but this will never cut it on the north side. The Betito’s place over by Costco on thornydale gives you about twice as much food and they don’t charge ya an arm and a leg like these guys plus that’s where we’ll go from now on for great food without you needing a 3rd mortgage to pay for the highly skilled professionals cooking the chow. Big disappointment and won’t be back
