TASTY!!! Not accommodating to large groups. My family (11 of us) stopped here to eat. We had to sit near the front door because there was no larger space. The server was a sweet lady who spoke minimum English. She brought out 4 cups of water rather than 11. Two bowls of chips, so it ran out in 5 mins. She did bring a pitcher of lemonade, that filled half the tables cups. She forgot a beer that was ordered. We dropped a cup and she never came back to clean up the spot. I felt her co workers saw her struggling but no one stepped in to assist. I ordered the fish tacos, which I was told were grilled but came out tempura like. The fish soup that came with the meal was delicious but more like broth. I probably won’t come back, but if you’re a party of 2 and want fresh fish this could work.

Dia De Los Pescados – Menu with Prices – 2200 N Zaragoza Rd, El Paso

I was a little skeptical about all the excellent reviews but I am very glad I got the chance to try out this place. I got 2 free tacos courtesy of yelp and have been greatly surprised. The fish batter was fluffy and crispy, I am not a fan of fish, but these tacos were very well made. The tacos have a spicy salsa that is right on point, not too hot just enough spice to taste it and give the tacos an extra kick. Also ordered shrimp alfredo fries and wasn’t sure what to expect. But best way to describe it is: alfredo shrimp pasta but instead of pasta you get crispy fries. Good experience and I hope anyone who gets the chance come try out this place, wont be disappointed. I am sure to come back again soon.

Lic’s Deli & Ice Cream – Menu with Prices – 800 E Diamond Ave #3420, Evansville

I give it a one because you have to, if you want to leave a review. Today on my way to work, I thought a Strawberry Banana shake would hit the spot especially if it comes from Lics. Boy was I wrong, it was the worse shake I’ve ever had. I also got one for a girl at she had Chocolate and let me tell you it was a very light tan she said she thought they forgot to add the chocolate. So we wont be back to the one on Diamond ave. It was at 11:37 am this morning. They need to train all of the employees how to make them, it was a young kid working he kinda acted lost.im not writing this in Hope’s of getting free ones, because as of now I wont never be back not even for a free one. I just hope they do something about it. I can almost say I bet I wont be the only one to explain today.

El Sabor De La Baja – Menu with Prices – 625 H St, Chula Vista

To begin with I LOOOOVE that it’s not cash only. I never have cash and this place takes cards . We went because my fiancé and I were too lazy to drive all the way to tj to get tacos like we usually do and omg I think I found my new favorite place for tacos. We only got fish tacos this time just bc we like to play it safe when trying out a new place BUT hands down the best fish tacos I’ve had in San Diego. The batter was great it was thin and not all thick and overbearing usually I end up removing batter and this time I didn’t have to take any off! For a food truck it was super clean, the three men working were super clean as well and the tables they have set up were also clean and I love that. We will definitely be back and possibly even become regulars, we usually go to tj oaster bar because it’s closer to our home however I think I rather drive the extra distance for some amazing tacos !!

Cabo Fish Taco – Menu with Prices – 14 Campbell Ave SE, Roanoke

I don’t know how these guys do it, but they do over and over again. The best fish taco on the planet! It’s a real shame I live on the coast and can’t get a fish taco like what I can from Cabo! Sure there are plenty of restaurants in Wilmington, North Carolina that have fish tacos, almost every one has that on the menu, but it is like saying Captain D’s is fresh fish, it’s not! This is not my first time at Cabo. When I lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, I went there all the time! So you can imagine my excitement when my wife and I were visiting Roanoke, VA and I saw they had a Cabo Fish Taco! It’s was like the clouds opened and a voice from heaven spoke, “You have been chosen to eat at Cabo’s!” Not only were my tacos perfect, but service was unbelievable. I had the cook come out twice to check on me. I told them I had a dairy issue. So he wanted to make sure I was OK. Server was great! Please come to Wilmington, North Carolina! I’ll sing for you all the time for fish tacos! It’s one of the those things where you are taking the time to savor each bite, tasting the beer battered Mahi, delicately breaded, lightly seasoned, so you actually taste the fish. Somehow they cook it in a way where it’s not dripping in grease. It’s just like something from heaven! I’m getting hungry just thinking about it! There is no doubt I’d sing for this meal. Thanks again guys for a great fish taco! Oh, I almost forgot, the pasta salad I had for my side was unreal! I had never had that before and it was the best pasta salad I’ve ever had! If you haven’t been to Cabo Fish Taco, you need to!

Mariscos Los Lechugas – Menu with Prices – 5244 Huntington Dr S, Los Angeles

We buy from here at least every week if not every other week! But their fish tacos are BOMB!!! Today I actually tried their shrimp taco and that was really good as well! (I had actually order fish tacos but they gave me shrimp but no complaint because it was good.) I think they have one of the best fish tacos that you can find! Their mix tostada is really good too! I like that their salsa size to go for there tacos is really reasonable, their not stingy with it. The tostadas sauce is Smaller but I’d say it’s still enough. If your craving fish tacos I honestly recommend you to come here. They sometimes do run out of Fish for their tacos, but just call ahead of time and they’ll let you know. It’s not even summer and you’ll see this place always having people. Their friendly and not mean, I’ve never encountered bad service here so hope you don’t either. Most of all I really like that it’s a food truck because you can see what they do. I recommend you to come and try these delicious tacos!

Brentâ??s Cafe Menu with Prices 3701 B Olsen Blvd, Amarillo

We had heard a lot of good things about the restaurant. We met another couple for lunch to give it a try. The waiter was very nice and attentive. The restaurant is clean and works to give customers a good experience. I ordered the fish tacos, but received the chicken tacos. When i mentioned it they went ahead and brought me fish tacos. It was a great jesture and glad they did. I actually liked the chicken tacos better. The fish tacos were good, but the slaw was a little to much vinegar for me. My wife ordered the meatloaf sandwich. It was a thin slice and overcooked. The edges were burned. She enjoyed the parts she could eat, but would have liked a whole sandwich. The fries were cooked well and had a great flavor. Definitely a nice menu, but need to watch overcooking the meatloaf.

Ensenada’s Surf N Turf Grill – Menu with Prices – 2931 Nutwood Ave, Fullerton

We recently moved from Bellflower, and we used to always go to Taco Nazo, which is well known for their fish tacos. Now that live in Anaheim, we were looking for a fish taco place that would be comparable to our old spot. Baja California definitely is on par with them! We ordered a grilled fish taco combo, shrimp ceviche tostada, and three more fish tacos on the side. It came out to a little over $20 for everything. Let me tell you, their shrimp ceviche was AMAZING. I work next to a market that has a specialty ceviche bar, but Baja California’s ceviche was way better, and cheaper too. It comes with two tostadas and a good amount of ceviche, topped with avocado. I’d come back just for that! They have their ceviche making station right next to the cashier so you can see them make it. It seemed like every single person ordered ceviche, lol. The grilled fish tacos were delicious as well. The fish was a good size, not too small. I always end up taking off one tortilla since it comes with two just because I feel it’s too much, but that’s just personal preference. The rice and beans were alright, nothing too special. I really like how they have a station where you can get your own lime and chiles. The only downside is we’re used to them being served freshly grilled and warm, and these were cold, but they still tasted good. Perfect accompaniment to the tacos. Their food is reasonably priced ($8-$9 for a 2 taco combo). They had a lot of seating and the tv was showing the football game, which was a plus. We will definitely be back, gotta try the fried fish tacos next time!

The Lab – Brewery, Pilot Facility & Taproom – Menu with Prices – 767 N Eustis St Suite 115, St Paul

The Lab in Saint Paul exceeded my expectations. I went in thinking it was just another expensive pour your own place in the cities. The Lab a pour your own place but, its more of an experience then that. This place is not just a tap room it’s a pilot brewing facility, as well as a laboratory service to assist in refining recipes. From my understand homebrewers from across the nation can have their beer/drinks brewed here at the lap. Owner Matt Hall also known for his time at Lift Bridge brews their own beer as well as others. Which beers/beverages are his recipes on the menu? Well that you wont know. It is all anonymous as to who’s drink belongs to who. Either way they are all being brewed and refined at the lab. You can pour your own glass or flight to try as many as you want. You get a card and you stick it in the slot and pour your own beer. The beer-tenders will help you out if you need a lesson in pouring like I did. I still have not mastered it but, maybe in the future I will. They do have some limited brews behind the bar as well that you can ask for. If you are not into beer I have also seen them have a hard seltzer, hard kombucha, and even sodas. The tap room is huge and they have plenty of seating indoor and outdoors!

Sunriver Brewing Co. – Oakway Pub – Menu with Prices – 329 Oakway Rd, Eugene

OMG good! Both the beer and the food. The reason for the 4/5 stars are the chairs. Can’t relax in them and if you’re on the larger side, you don’t fit. Come on and give us some comfortable (not trendy cheap) seating. Now onto the beer; lots of choices for everyone. I liked the “Popular Demand” hazy IPA best, but really they’re all good. The Food was AMAZING! I hope it’s not a fluke; opening day hijinx. We had 1/2 order (yes you can) of beer cheese nachos. Every bite had cheese and goop on it. If you like cilantro, the cilantro-lime sauce is to die for! Perfect for two. Oh so good… Then we shared the tacos, one of each: blackened fish, black beans, and chicken. All were good, but the fish and the black beans were the favorites. Don’t be afraid of the bean taco, it’s delicious and will surprise you carnivores. Well definitely be back to try more off the menu. I almost forgot to mention our server Extrordinaire, Geoff. He was friendly, helpful and fun. Thanks for the great service and recommendations!

Normita’s Surf City Taco – Menu with Prices – 815 Indianapolis Ave, Huntington Beach

A true local spot. Definition of a hole-in-the-wall. It’s located in a beat up parking lot with a liquor store, and the only signage visible from Beach Boulevard is under the huge font for the liquor store and it just says “tacos”. Cash only and the owner seems to know everyone. Tight indoor seating and a few tables outside. I’m no expert, but the fish tacos are the best I’ve had. Everything is made to order and they come out piping hot and crunchy. Free chips served with your order and the salsa is great! They have 3 kinds – 2 milds and one very hot. I prefer the mild verde and the hot (which I think is chipotle, maybe not). Recently I’ve been skipping the fish tacos and going for the fish burrito, but if you’re a first timer you gotta do the tacos. They both taste great but the burrito is easier to eat when you’re on a quick lunch break! I’ve always wanted to try the carnitas – it’s right behind the counter cooking in a gallon of lard in a copper pot – but it’s hard for me to abandoned the fish. Also if you’re curious the fish they use is mahi mahi. I think that’s all I got. If you love Ensenada style fish tacos and you haven’t been to Normita’s you’re really missing out.

Taqueria Samantha 2 – Menu with Prices – 7521 Geyer Springs Rd, Little Rock

TL;DR Review: If you’re in the neighborhood, and like tacos, you NEED this in your life. I had three Tacos Asada. After I ordered, he told me it’d take ten minutes. It did. There’s not a great place to park super-close to the trailer, so I just kind-of stood there after stepping to the side. When my number was up, he told me “Your tacos are ready.” I stepped to him, and he said, “Six dollars.” Tax included in price! Nice. I tipped the man and headed back to the break room at work. When I opened it up, as promised, three tacos of the Authentic Mexican variety awaited together with three covered cups of salsa verde and a (pablano?) pepper that looked like it’d been grilled pretty well. I immediately picked up one of the tacos and went to work sans-salsa. BAM! The flavor of the most tender carne asada I’ve ever had kicked me in the face. Boom! The sour cream, cheese, lettuce, raw and grilled onions, and cilantro slammed my taste buds into the back of my throat. Everything together was so good… I’m not used to tacos like this because I eat too much Tex-Mex and not enough Mexican. They weren’t spicy tacos, these, and I usually prefer a little kick, so I took a bite of the chili. Too much for me! Immediately started hiccupping. I’m not usually a child when it comes to spicy food. I can usually take my food quite a bit hotter than others, but eating chilies has always been a little problem for me, and I’m not sure why. I tried (timidly) the salsa. It was fine. Actually, THAT could have been quite a bit more spicy for my taste. So I poured it on the last taco that I ate between hiccups after inhaling the first two. Next time I’m in SWLR, I know exactly where I’m going to eat.
