We love dumplings but these are not what you typically think of as a dumpling- they are steamed buns like chinese hum baos. I also like those but could hardly eat these. The dough was actually raw and I didn’t enjoy any of the 4 different flavors I tried. They are over filled and I think that is why the dough was just not cooked, too much moisture from the large amount of filling. The sauces were also underwhelming. I took them back to the counter and said this is raw but they said that was just the nature of their dumplings, ugh. They did offer to refund my purchase but since I had eaten some of it I did not take that offer. They then came over to our table and gave us coupons for 2 free dumplings, so I give them points for trying to satisfy a customer. But if they cannot solve the underdone raw dough issue I don’t think this place will last long.

Soup Otzie’s – Menu with Prices – 3950 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee

Have driven past here a few times but never had the chance to try it. I drove past today and was hungry so I made a quick u turn and decided to give it a try. Super glad I did. Cute casual diner feeling on the inside. Seat yourself at a table or at one of the stools at the counter. They have chalk boards on the wall with specials and menus available at the seats. Soups are available in cups, bowls or quarts and the have some frozen ready for your to purchase to take home. They also offer sandwiches including multiple vegetarian options. I had a chicken and veggie soup with optional dumpling add in (you could also choose egg noodles). My soup was good and flavorful but my dumplings were a little tough and drier than I’d like but I still enjoyed it. I also had the artichoke and tomato sandwich was was awesome! The bread was soft and perfectly toasted. They also offer bags of chips, and cookies for purchase. I had an cranberry oatmeal cookie on my way out and it was so good, I wish I had bought 2. Overall I enjoyed my experience food was good and the staff was friendly, will return again.

Kroger Corporate Office Menu with Prices 2175 Parklake Dr NE, Atlanta

I am so tired of the grayson location and science highway location. The rules for coupons change daily. Now, the rain check rules are changing. This is a million dollar corporations and you are telling me that you cant hire staff the comprehend their store policies. You, have to always leave stressed out because of unprofessional behavior from the staff. Now I will be calling corporate today and file my formal complaint and lets see were tbis will lead. I dont want a song and dance. I want change in these stores when it come to using coupons. Stop being racist and stop stereotyping. All people are not the same. If I, could give a negative zero I would. I, dont want to hear that the manager changed and we have new people. Train your staff.

So Inviting – Menu with Prices – 876 Dundas St, London

I just want you to know, deep in the heart of Old East Village, there is a little ray of sunshine waiting to be discovered. No, I’m not talking about the dumplings at So Inviting, I’m talking about the lady who works here! I love dumplings so I knew when I was in the area, I had to check this place out. The name itself, and just the fact that they sell these amazing pockets of goodness (by weight) had me running for their doorstep. Yamei Min popped her head out from behind the counter to give me the 411 on how everything worked. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone SO NICE. Every time I’ve visited, she always greets me with a huge smile and hello. She’s even gave a little discount when I waited a while she was in the back. But honestly, I’ll wait forever for her! Yes, the dumplings are good. They also serve noodles, soup, and other baked goods. She also sells the dumplings frozen for you to take home. They get a bit so-so near the end of the day, but hey, she only charged us 50% for those so I can’t really complain. I loved putting a few drops of malt vinegar on them and dipping them in soy. So Inviting is SO inviting and I implore you to PLEASE visit them and give it a try. It’s SO worth it! ^_^

Easy To Go Taco Stand – Menu with Prices – 2344 Southmost Rd, Brownsville

One star! Yea really, it was that bad. This place has gone down hill. Haven’t been there in two years. Wife wanted flautas so we called to order. She asked for them to be cooked not hard and not soft, the lady says “media’s” and we said yes. I showed up at the restaurant and no one came out I was ringing the bell several times, and nothing. Finally I had to have my wife call on the phone to let them know that I was at the front counter. Anyways flautas we’re ready, and I paid and left. I got home and what a surprise. These flautas were so Over cooked in what looked like some nasty ass oil because of the color of the flautas. They were so over cooked we couldn’t eat them. Ate two and said no, this is not even edible. The lettuce and tomatoe was swimming in room temperature water. HAVE YOU PEOPLE EVER HEARD OF A SALAD SPINNER? It is a very simple device that would solve this issue. When I called to speak to someone I told her what had happened and she tried to tell me that they were cooked “medias” I advised they were cooked to death that they were not medias. I also told her about the amount of water in the lettuce and she said it must of been the juice from the cueritos, I said no I know what cuerito juice is and I know what water is and this is water. He offered no apologies to me, didn’t offer to replace my food, didn’t offer to refund, pretty much she just didn’t give a s**t. I told her I wanted to speak with the owner. She told me she was not there but that she comes every night to close the box and collect the money. I told her we’ll have he call me I would like to speak to her. She said ok and hung up. Didn’t bother to ask my name or number. Oh and by the way I never got a phone call. So I guess the attitude of the owner and infects into the business, nonetheless I will never go back. And P.S. we threw the food away. Pics to prove I just can’t make this up.

Chick-fil-A – Menu with Prices – 3912 N Roxboro St, Durham

I went to the Chick-fil-a on Roxboro rd and I found a baby roach laying dead on my chicken mini’s. I ordered the 6 count combo and had already eaten 2 mini’s and most of my hashbrowns before I noticed the roach. I immediately returned the remaining mini’s for a refund. I politely asked to speak with the manager in private so I could show him without alarming any customers. He looked surprised and asked could he touch it…I said sure cause I’m not eating it. He asked would I like another combo or refund. I definitely don’t want any more food from here but I’ll take my refund. He only refunded me for the mini’s and not the full meal. Smh..even though it’s only a dollar difference, I wasted my time and gas coming back up here and you can’t even give me my full refund after you guys messed this up. The audacity of this guy! Smh..never again! Wish I could give it negative stars.

Yang’s Dumplings – Menu with Prices – 196 Quincy St, Boston

I order food for the workplace on the regular, and I have been trying to change it up lately. I didn’t know much about Yang’s Dumplings, but given that it was Chinese New Year earlier this week, I wanted dumplings bad and gave Yang’s a chance. I ordered ~300 dumplings for my colleagues, and they loved it! Many of them even asked for the restaurant afterwards. The dumplings are fresh and hot upon delivery, and they taste homemade. No surprise there, given that it’s a family business. Also, my brief interactions with them have all been very pleasant. For large parties, you can order the “Taste of Everything”, which consists of 200 steamed veggie, chicken, pork, and shrimp dumplings (50 each). There’s the “Plate of Everything Platter”, which has 420 dumplings, but if you have a smaller crowd, there’s the “Bite of Everything Platter”, which has 80 dumplings. (There are more options if you order through ezCater.com.) Delivery is prompt, punctual, and pretty cheap. Tl;dr – Switch up your catering with dumplings! Yang’s delivers in more ways than one.

Mayflower Chinese Carryout – Menu with Prices – 3066 Mt Pleasant St NW, Washington

I placed a HUGE takeout order for a dinner with friends last night, and I appreciate that Mayflower had all of the food ready right on time for 6:30pm pick up and provided lots of sauces, utensils, and plates. There is still great value and big portions here, but I finally took stock of the dishes I like: — general tso’s — lo mein — steamed meat dumplings …and didn’t like: — kung po chicken (heavy on the veggies, low on the chicken) — fried dumplings (the dough is very thick, so they become tough when fried) — veggie dumplings (the thick dough combined with veggies just doesn’t do it for me) — fried rice (dried out quickly so I couldn’t enjoy the next day, but was fine day-of) Overall, this is a great option in the area, especially if you want to order ahead. It just doesn’t hit the mark for some of my favorite dishes.

Goodfellow Market Pizza – Menu with Prices – 1010 E Broadway #1206, Glendale

Horrible service and won’t be returning anymore. They offer a large pizza one topping with purchase of $50 or more. My mom shops here all the time and she has so many of the coupons that we never use. I ordered a mix pizza which has 5 topping and I called in at 2:22 pm to order and he said 20-30 mins. Got there at 2:43 and the young guy says you called 2 minutes ago and I showed my phone that was actually 21 minutes. I waited and waited and finally got my pizza at 3:01. They charged me $16 and when I handed the coupon they deducted $4 and said I owed $12. When I asked how much is a large one topping pizza they said $7.50 so I then said why don’t you deduct $7.50 and he said we only deduct $4. I asked if I order one topping pizza. Will you charge me $4? He said no, it’ll be $7.50. He had no valid answer and the owner didn’t have the courtesy to come in and try to explain and instead he had a disgusting smirk on his face and this employee was looking to other customers and smiling. You either don’t offer coupons or if you do you will have a valid answer to explain how the coupon works. On top of everything, the owner thinks he’s very cool and can joke around with everyone but his jokes are very lame and tasteless.

HuNan Taste ??? – Menu with Prices – 5148 W Colonial Dr, Orlando

Pretty good food. They also got a opening offer when you spend $60 you get $50. $100 for $100 so that’s something Edit: just found out they give you 5 $20 off $100+ coupons. They advertised the campaign as giving you $100 if you order food worth $100+. That’s pretty misleading. Not only that, they required us to write the review to get the coupons whereas the first waiter said we didn’t have to do that. Not to mention, their food was largely mediocre with the exception of the pork belly. Combining the mediocre good with the borderline fraudeline promo campaign, they made it out like bandits with our money. We do not plan on revisiting the restaurant to them then 5+ visits of $100+ meals to this deceptive restaurant. I highly recommend for you to not do Update 2: So the owner responded and tells you not to trust this review. You decide. At no point were the $20 off coupons advertised as coupons even if it says it in the fine print of promotional guide. The promotional ad said “spend $100, get $100” The point is: they weren’t upfront about a promo for stuff that should’ve been FREE. Anyways. The first review was positive because it was a requirement to get what I thought were gift cards. So discount that review; the business owner was practically forcing me to give them a five star review and I wasnt about to give them the one star to their face. Their food was mediocre. Nothing to write to home about.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe – Menu with Prices – 12799 E Foothill Blvd Ste. A, Rancho Cucamonga

I really cannot say enough nice words about this place. I personally do not eat animal me and it was great to find a place that was willing to substitute any soy protein for all the dishes on the menu. The smoothies are reasonable price as well as a large amount so you will get plenty of food for your money. They also have a Groupon that you can get a combo of any smoothie with any food item which only cost seven dollars. This deal was what initially drew me towards the café. They also have a reward system that you can find on their app and you can earn points and use those towards your purchase to get discounts. The workers are really nice and helpful to give you their personal recommendations. The area is very spacious and has quite a bit of seating and it is very colorful inside. They do offer coupons throughout the month would you make it when you purchased your food or smoothie. I personally do recommend the açai berries as well as there a chipotle chicken bowl with soy protein. Parking: Parking was not an issue at all there’s a large parking lot due to the location of the café so that is not a worry.

Nashville Pizza & Pasta – Menu with Prices – 1201 Dickerson Pike, Nashville

I ordered the chicken pesto pizza, but instead received a pizza with no chicken, no sauce, no pesto, and raw tomato slices. I notified the restaurant of the issue the following day, and did not receive a response. Three days later, when Grubhub called the restaurant to make them aware of the issue, they refused to offer any refund or replacement without a photo to prove that the wrong item was sent. It was not until after this review was posted, four days later, that the restaurant attempted to resolve the issue.

Min’s Dumpling House – Menu with Prices – 1297 E Ontario Ave, Corona

I’m leaving my original review down below because I still think it applies. Today I decided to order a pick up order of the dumplings. I am adding another star because I do genuinely really like the chicken dumplings. My opinion on the fact that the only thing you should order from this place is the dumplings stands. I will only come to this location if I’m really craving dumplings (like i was today). But other than that, please refer to my previous opinion on this place below. The first time i tried this place, was when my family brought me a pick up order of their chicken dumplings. I liked them enough to dine in today with my boyfriend. We decided to get the chicken dumplings and pork dumplings. We also decided to mix it up and get some non dumpling entrees… this is where we made our mistake. We got this beef wrap thing because the picture looked good and let me tel you, they STUFF that with cilantro and the beef ratio is outweighed by the other items. We also ordered the kung pao chicken. Again, the meat was outweighed by other items. I’m literally only giving this two starts because the dumplings. The only reason I’d go back is for the dumplings. Disappointed and I wanted a refund but i didn’t wanna be mean to the really nice employees. Edit: I didn’t post this edit the same day because I thought I would be a little harsh if I did. But after posting the review, both me and my boyfriend were having the worst stomach problems. Not to be TMI, but we got food poising just to say the least. Because of this, i don’t see myself coming back to this place.
