Been coming here all my life for the best burritos in the world and just awesome service. Mom and pop restaurant that feeds the neighborhood. If you’ve never ate here you can’t claim to be from the hood! Most definitely will recommend this place to everyone! Worth the money and the burritos are the size of the tray

Krispy Krunchy Ckicken – Menu with Prices – 1939 Clifford Ave, Rochester

Visiting Rochester on a work assignment and I found this place around the corner from my work… they possibly have the best chicken I have ever tasted! Don’t recommend going there after dark as the neighborhood is a bit scary BUT if you can go by you will be totally in love with their fried chicken. Worth a trip down to the hood… or two.

The Bagel Restaurant and Deli – Menu with Prices – 3107 N Broadway, Chicago

Another Lakeview neighborhood longtime hang. They’ve been around to see the good and the bad in the hood. Not too many places have parking in back, few ever have but they have plenty. Another great family spot we used to meet fir dinner. Had breakfast this morning and the Hopel Popel with bagel always strong. Cozy and spacious with old movie posters that never get out dated. Super clean with clean restrooms. It’s my stop on Chicago’s Northside for good Jewish food. The soup never lets you down and the bowls are good size. Plenty of table side pickles and bagel chips to go with you meal. They have a smallish but good take out deli with the right favorites to go. Bagel problem car are decent in a neighborhood that gets pricier all the time. I’m guessing they know the neighborhood and their regulars well enough they don’t care to try squeezing another quarter out of them. It is appreciated and you always get your money’s worth. The servers have been there forever which in this business says a hell of a lot. Professionals and always very patient and cool and know their stuff. My server today I overheard tell some older ladies he’s been around 26 years! I can’t believe I’ve been going to The Bagel that long! Jeezus these folks getting old. But we’re doing it together I guess.

Palace Fried Chicken – Menu with Prices – 1034 Broad St # A, Newark

My Hood delicacy Series: My first stop was Palace Fried Chicken. The ambience is very chill, you can always catch all walks of life in this place. It’s your typical hood spot, but the beauty of the hood is the menu and food. Hood food is good food. My guy Azwaziz he is the master chef. They have an assortment of chicken, Gyro, Rice to my favorite Burgers. I usually get #2 a double burger and fries with a soda comes out to $6.96. This place is a gem because they offer more than just food. If you have the munchies they provide delicious dessert (cheesecake, banana bread pudding, red velvet cake) and ice cream. If your looking to wind down, they have Backwoods, swishers, and black & milds. Most people would look over this place but don’t be a fool, Always go inside!!! You will always get hit with a plentiful whiff of chicken aromas. Also this is cash only, but they do have an ATM inside. Finally the food, this burger was amazing. I am a burger junkie and this is always good. My guy Azawaziz knows me now, and always gives me extra fries because I’m a good patron. All the burger was missing was some Big Mac sauce and this would be a HIT. But nonetheless I enjoyed this place, and will always come back.

Antojitos Y Mas – Menu with Prices – 1401 Fortune Retail Ct, Kissimmee

I want to complain about this restaurant and his owner Hector. I ordered a Pavochón for our Thanksgiving dinner .. I have done it for a few years .. Hector, the owner of Antojitos y Más, came up with a $25 deposit for a metal tray by the time I picked up the Pavochón from him, stating he didn’t have any disposable trays like the ones he offered in previous years,, which it was included on the total cost of $150. I did not have a problem with that, the problem occurred when I called him to let him know I was on the way to his restaurant to drop the tray and to pick up my deposit… He said that he wasn’t going to return my deposit because he didn’t need the tray anymore.!!!! I was demanding my money back since it was “a deposit” but he refused to do that!! he said he bought some new ones, didn’t need it anymore and requested me to use the tray next year!!!! ..In other words made me buy an old piece of garbage for $25 and lost a very good client! Do not give this gentleman money “EVER” without a receipt if you need any catering from him.

Sister’s Deli Menu with Prices 15355 SE 30th Pl, Bellevue

Sister’s deli is a great spot to grab breakfast or lunch. It’s tucked away near commercial offices but worth finding. During the beautiful sunny days they have quite a few picnic tables and a pretty stream, waterfalls, and fountains to sit by. It’s a great spot for a break from the office as it can make for a tranquil lunch. The food is great and really fulfilling. I had their burrito bowl and I was shocked with how big it was. I’ve also had their breakfast burrito on several occasions and that is huge and awesome too. The breakfast burritos usually come with potatoes, eggs, vegetables, and optional cheese, sour cream, and salsa (mild, medium, or hot). For lunch the burritos include your choice of meat (or vegetarian) rice, beans, veggies, and again cheese, sour cream and salsa. Prices are very reasonable and portions are large. To top it all off, the owner Rufina will offer you a hug with your purchase. You and order ahead and she always addresses you by name. If you visit often she will definitely remember you. This is world class service in my opinion.

Pho Oceanside – Menu with Prices – 518 Oceanside Blvd, Oceanside

LOVE this restaurant! Came here every week for a few months over a year ago and due to a deployment haven’t been in in over a year. Walked in today and the manager (owner?) immediately remembered my order down to the egg rolls and drink. AMAZING customer service and friendly staff. Very attentive- yet they don’t bother you while eating. All staff members constantly scan the restaurant for those customers who are “looking around” for a server, so they rush right over to assist you. I personally hate being bothered numerous times while I’m eating, so this is great for me. They do ask if everything is to your liking once youve had a few bites, and after they only check on you if you remember finished or need a refill. I’m just amazed after so long, they still remember me and my order. Awesome food, lovely staff, clean restaurant. Totally recommend!

The Icon on Portage – Menu with Prices – 1133 Portage Ave, Winnipeg

The kind of place where you would want to go if all you wanted to do was get hit on by old cougars clearly past their prime. Pretty shitty. Also, clearly not “World Famous” as they claim. If it is, it is for the wrong reasons.

Fred’s Breakfast Burrito – Menu with Prices – 130 W 70th Ave, Denver

I want this this place too be awesome,,great mex food, some breakfast burritos (Chorizo) a bit salty, Cheese Enchiladas good, my only real gripe is they don’t put enough Green Chile on the orders. I buy breakfast burritos for my crew at work and we all have the one and only same complaint, why so little Green Chile?? Just down the street on Wash.. Burrito&Company gives a ton of Green Chile n prices are cheap so imagine you can do the same…I mean really if you are craving Green Chile do you want just a little so it’s still semi dry? This is with smothered and handheld burritos same problem. Fix this please I will be there much more often.

Haeorum Foods Korean BBQ – Menu with Prices – 3045 SE 3rd Ave, Ocala

This past weekend I got to try Haeorum Foods and it was amazing! I used Yelp to help find some Korean food in Ocala and it took me right to this awesome place! This place is a hidden secrete and I think the world should know about how awesome this place is! First! They are open on Monday-Saturday from 10 to 7pm! Lets talk about the food! They have a full menu and everything I saw looked delicious! For an appetizer I tried Mandu! It was amazing it was pretty much pork dumplings! They were warm and crispy and had the perfect amount of flavor and taste to them! It was awesome! For my main entree I got the Bibimbap! This was a large bowl with rice, veggies, a fried egg and red chili paste! It was so darn good! I ate and ate and I was so full but still had food left in my bowl! I also added on some Kimchi for $2 more! Wow, it was awesome! My friend I was with got the Korean Raman which was really spicy, but they loved it as well! The food here seems pretty authentic. I have been to South Korea twice and this food tasted like anything I would have gotten there! The inside of this place is awesome. It is in a awesome gas station (yes I said gas station) with a restaurant inside. You get everything in Styrofoam to go containers so it’s not the fanciest place in the world. I would say that it is a perfect little hole in the wall restaurant! If you are in Ocala and looking for something awesome! I would highly recommend that you try this place out! It is awesome!

Tom’s Tacos – Menu with Prices – 4669 Torrance Blvd, Torrance

This is Tito’s Tacos from Culver City, but way smaller, less crowded, and more convenient for those in South Bay. CASH ONLY! CASH ONLY! Lots of parking. CASH ONLY! As I noted in my Tito’s Tacos review, I am not a huge fan of the tacos. However, I really dig Tom’s burritos ? The bean and cheese burrito in particular. I’ve tried the burrito with the meat, rice, etc. as well, but what it all comes down to in the end is that the beans are stellar (lard-tastic) and the cheese combines to make goodness. I usually get some of the liquid guac and salsa and combine it with the burritos for a little extra flavor, but they are good without too. The chips are decent, the burritos are definitely messy, the ordering experience is way easier than Tito’s, but the burritos (to me and my wife) are awesome. Looking forward to going back for some nostalgic flavor from the Culver City days ?

Thanh Huong – Menu with Prices – 533 West Side Ave, Jersey City

Park close, get your food, then get out of this neighborhood as fast as you can. Take my advice and you will be happy that you came to enjoy the best, and only Vietnamese restaurant in the vicinity for miles. Their food is better and less expensive than the one Vietnamese restaurant in Bayonne, the one I visited near Grove Street, and the one I visited in West New York. The only problem is that this is in the worst neighborhood of them all. I am pretty sure this is a family run business and when I come to a place like this where great grandma is serving, grandpa is cooking, and their next generations are hanging out helping then I KNOW it is going to be some good, authentic, home-made tasting food on the way. Their pho is on point, their vermicelli with pork spring rolls and chops are great. I have nothing but good things to say about the food. The service is ok, grandma isn’t trying to charm, you just feed you. So don’t expect that. The environment is very simple with table seating and a TV that has nothing interesting on ever. So yes go grab a bite here, eat, save your conversation for later, and don’t bother strolling around in the neighborhood. There is some great food in the area, and you are good if you stick to your destinations. This is the hood!

Wizard Wicks Pizza (Laredo’sOriginal) – Menu with Prices – 2701 N Meadow Ave, Laredo

Okay so, I am not a pizza person at all. It usually grosses me out after 1 slice or half lol. I can honestly say that the pizza at Wicks has surpassed any other pizza I have EVER tasted in my life. The J-Bomb is so fucking magical, I canâ??t even. And the pickled mushrooms?? Ummm yummmmm??? Another thing that I adore about Wizard Wicks is the outside patio!! The vibes are awesome. This is one of the places where I can forget about life for a bit and really enjoy my evenings with amazing/ beautiful company. I will definitely recommend Wizard Wicks Pizza to every soul I interact with!! Thank You for creating such amazing pizza, Yâ??all are fucking AWESOME??
