Nothing fancy but a great little donut shop with many choices of both savory and sweet items. I have tried their blueberry cake donut, chocolate cake donut, another donut that had fresh strawberries in the icing and some kind of bacon croissant thing and all were delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by how cheap they were a well. Definitely my go to donut shop ? P.S I wouldn’t get the cherry donut again just because it had so much food coloring to get that red and cherry flavor reminds me of medicine.

Krispy Donuts – Menu with Prices – 3403 Louetta Rd Ste E, Spring

Hooray! I get to be the first person to leave a review on this establishment. I happened to stumble upon this place while driving home. The owners of the donut shop are the sweetest human beings I’ve ever met. They were so happy and welcoming. I ordered a glazed donut, a chocolate glazed donut, and a sausage/egg/cheese croissant. They even warm up your croissant for you if you want. This has to be a new donut shop because I don’t see how there aren’t any reviews already made. The donuts were like a hybrid of Krispy Crème and Shipley’s donuts in my opinion. I took a bite into one of the donuts and the interior was as soft as a cloud. The one thing I truly appreciated from their donuts was that it was not overly sweet like most of the big chain donut shops. I highly recommend those who are close to give this mom and pop shop a try. I love and a huge supporter of mom and pop shops.

Country Style Donuts – Menu with Prices – 4300 Williamsburg Rd, Richmond

When you’re craving a donut you have your got to spot. Well for me, I’m still hunting for my donut spot. KK just has a spot in my heart for life. And to be honest, I’m not a huge cake donut fan. The denseness is too much for me. So while I was in the area, I had to stop in for a donut….or four. Closed on Monday’s but open 24/he the rest of the week, this tiny donut shop had some tasty options left for me. I’m sure it’s best to get in here early in the day for all the best picks! I ordered: Raised sugar, Plain, Glazed and Peanut. My least favorite was the raised sugar and here’s why. The sugar literally did nothing for this donut. It fell off with each bite and the donut had no flavor or desire to finish. I loved the peanut as it was glazed with I think maple flavor in the glaze and coated with peanuts. The crunch, the sweetness and the cake donut just satisfied my craving! I love just a plain donut and even though it was plain, it still had a hint of sweet. The glazed is a basic necessity and favorite. Their donuts are thick and delicious. Small donut shop that’s 2 miles from RIC airport. So if you’re ever in a need for donuts and you’re in the area, pop in here and you won’t be disappointed.

6th Street Donut – Menu with Prices – 1002 W 6th St, Irving

Excellent and cheap! I got some kind of hot-dog with cheese and bacon wrapped in a croissant which was gross but also awesome at the same time. I imagine if I were 10 this would be the best thing in the world. I also got a glazed donut which was amazing. I’ve seen many donut places like this around and they all make excellent donuts. This place has a great selection of good stuff for breakfast and they are also dirt cheap! Coffee was also surprisingly good too!

Four Seasons Donuts – Menu with Prices – 3511 N Belt Line Rd, Irving

Second time I’ve been here and I really love this shop. The egg, ham and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich is the bomb. Also the sausage one is pretty delicious. It is a donut shop and donuts are done very well. I’m always a high supporter of local businesses and this one I will keep coming to for my donut fix. Also, thanks to the lady working there, she’s very friendly and super nice. Gave me some donut holes that I didn’t even know she had put in my bag.

Augusta Street Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 52A Valley St, Providence

This review is based on my visit in February for the #BestDonutsRI competition.     This shop is a gluten free establishment. They specialize in using healthy ingredients and whole foods.   We arrived around 8:30am on a Saturday (they open at 8am). The shop is small with a counter for two people. The shop is meant for a buy and go service.  When we entered, we saw the owners and staff were quickly prepping. After they greeted us, the owner told us they were preparing for a Chocolate Festival in Fall River that day. They were still able to help and answer all questions we had.    They offer two cake donuts on the regular menu: the Organic Blueberry Cake Donut and Chocolate Birthday Cake donut. They have Banana Bread Donuts, but they are preorder only. We chose one of each of the regular donuts.   The Organic Blueberry was AMAZING! The donut was soft with the right amount of sweetness. Real blueberries are throughout the donut, the flavor is on point delicious! I didn’t try the Chocolate Birthday Donut, but the boyfriend said he enjoyed it!   I can’t wait to come back and try more!

Mojo Donuts – Menu with Prices – 7906 Pines Blvd, Hollywood

The best donuts we’ve ever eaten. My family and I decided to try out this donut shop and was pleasantly surprised. These donuts were huge..the fillings were mouthwatering. I’m giving it a 5 star. Recommending that you please, please try out their donut selections. Their donuts are freshly made daily with assorted toppings. I also found out that you can call them if your planning a breakfast brunch Mojo caters. The only warning I have is to please take note that they are DONUTS so the majority of them are sweetly delicious.. .

Rise and Shine Donuts Menu with Prices 1621 W Arkansas Ln, Arlington

Rise-N-Shine Donuts was not the best donut shop around, but I found that the goods were enough to satisfy me. As friendly owners as I have found in the Arlington area in terms of donut shop entrepreneurs, so that always seems to enhance the experience, since all donut shops are created equal, right? Unfortunately, I like to gauge a shop of fried dough by its apple fritter, simply because you can really mess these up… and if you really mess up a simple glazed donut, you are probably fixin’ to close up shop, in my opinion. The apple fritter here possessed absolutely no apple flavor. The blueberry cake was a little too dense, and the dough sort of took up the berry flavor, though the interior did have a beautiful (surely artificial, though) purple hue. Yes, I just used the word hue to describe a donut. But… free holes is always a plus. The lady tossed in some donut holes, and well… customer service is sometimes enough to throw an establishment offering the best of fried dough (which never passes a certain level of quality) right over the top!

Knead Donuts & Tea – Menu with Prices – 3490 E 7th St, Long Beach

This is a donut motherlode. But wait, they’ve got food as well in the form of croissant breakfast sandwiches (the works or the bacon and egg are my two favorites). The croissant, one of the best I’ve had outside of France, for the sandwich is perfect, and the sandwiches are large and filling. The Pig in a Blanket (dough-wrapped sausages with or without jalepenos) is another delicious, filling breakfasty-brunchy food item here. As a Long Beach native, you know I need that jalepeno. As for the donuts, well, they’re not overly sweet and have the right consistency and chewiness. The creme brulee is great, sure, but if you really want your mind blown, get in early for a fresh, hot CroNut (croissant style donut) or a hot apple fritter. Those two items are out of this world. Finally, don’t let the strong and sweet brew of iced viet coffee escape you to help you start fresh in the morning. Feel free to kickstart your morning with the extra strength KNEADED version if you’re feeling groggy. P.S. The owners/workers are really friendly and the whole shop has a very neighborhood vibe. P.P.S. Donuts run from 1.50 for a glazed original up to $3.50 for specialties, and a viet coffee runs about 4.45.

Swiss Donut – Menu with Prices – 622 N Story Rd, Irving

This is such a cute donut shop! The donut holes with icing are great, and I love that the dough they use is really light and and just the right hint of sweet. You definitely don’t feel that ” ughh” after eating them, because they aren’t heavy feeling at all. Which is really rare, especially for me since I have a sensitive stomach. But these donuts were just right. Definitely bring cash with you if plan on spending less than $4, as that is the minimum purchase requirement when using a card. When I went in, I didn’t realize there was a card minimum, but the woman that helped me was so nice, she just added some more donut holes for me so that I could reach the minimum. Smart and kind business owners for sure! I will say, they could use some more shelf organization, for the items not inside the donut case. But I will definitely be helping them out with that, as I feel like I finally found a donut shop to frequent! Definitely stop by here if you want a small hole in the wall kind of shop. The donuts are great!

Ross Donuts – Menu with Prices – 64 Bell Rd, Montgomery

I did my research on donut shops in the area and found Ross had the best reviews. I made the trip and am so happy I did. I specifically went to try the amazing donuts. While I was chatting with the owner a timer went off on an oven. I asked what was in the oven, home made croissants!!!! In that case I needed a breakfast sandwich also. Ordered a ham, egg, and cheese on a croissant. Hands down the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in some time, if not ever. The croissant was flakey and light, yum! The donuts were also amazing. Light, sweet, and just overall delicious. They were greasy or heavy. My intent was to eat the sandwich for breakfast and take the donuts on the plane to take home with me. Needless to say, that didn’t happen. All were fine before I arrived at the airport. The strawberry creme donut is crazy delicious. Oh and the owner is so nice, very kind man and obviously a talented bakery. This is a must try, you’ll thank me.

Happy Donut – Menu with Prices – 8000 Coit Rd #800, Plano

This little donut shop has been here forever. It’s changed names a few times, but I have been picking up donuts here for the better part of 15 years. It’s a convenient location. The flavors of the donuts are okay. The glazed are a bit doughy and light on sugar. The chocolate cake donut was not very sweet. I’ll keep coming back, but it would be nice if they were just a bit more on the sweet side.

Thunder Donuts – Menu with Prices – 2929 SE 44th St, Oklahoma City

I love Thunder Donuts. Their yeast donuts are super light and fluffy. None of the donuts are oily. A dozen donut holes are $.99. Their sausage rolls are pretty tasty because they use their yeast donut dough to make the roll. They offer 3 small sausage rolls for $2.49 or $.99 each. They also have large rolls. Additionally, they have small and ginormous breakfast sandwiches on croissants that look really good but I haven’t tried them. I always gravitate to their yeast donuts, but the cake donuts are special as well. Eventually I am going to try their apple fritter because it looks gooey and delicious. All of their donuts can be filled on the spot in your choice of three fillings, which is a nice touch. What really makes this donut shop extraordinary is the service. There is never a line because there is always two girls working the counter, along with the owner/baker. All of them are incredibly helpful and friendly. It is a nice change of pace to the typical attitude of fast food workers. I wouldn’t necessarily make a special trip to this side of town for the donuts, but if you happen to find yourself in Del City you should definitely stop by. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
