Monday night, two wild children in tow, my wife and I entered Doda’s around 7pm. We were immediately greeted by a young gentleman with glasses behind the counter, who offered us a menu, and asked if he could help us. Already, impressed, he suggested the large cheese pizza and wings, while we added some jalapeño poppers and cheese sticks to hold ourselves and the children off. A 5 star rating doesn’t quite do the food and service justice. Jalapeño poppers were delicious, just the right amount of breading to jalapeño to cream cheese ratio. Cheese sticks came with ranch, and were a bit with the kids. We added pepperoni to our cheese pizza, and ordered honey medium wings. Wings were delicious, with lots of extra sauce, and extra ranch. The pizza was greasy and delicious, with more than enough cheese to satisfy any pizza lover’s palate. For dessert we ordered two cannolis, one covered in Carmel and one in chocolate and strawberry, amazing. They put a perfect amount of filling, and toppings. Just wanted to make sure the hard work of those employees is noticed. Only thing that was kinda off putting was an older gentleman, I assume he owned the place. His stare, while friendly, just seemed to constantly watch you. â? Not enough to scare me away from the delicious food.

JoJo’s Pizzeria Linglestown Rd. – Menu with Prices – 2256 Linglestown Rd, Harrisburg

I can only assume this Jo Jos Pizza is part of the ownership tied to the one in Hummelstown. However, based on the difference in quality I hope it isn’t! This Jo Jos is new to the area and is trying to get established but is falling short in numerous areas. The restaurant is clean for the most part, but for the limited patrons on site I was a little disappointed in the trash on the floor and crumbs on the tables. We got a pizza and it was good but definitely nothing special. The crust was a bit on the soft side, almost like it needed another minute in the oven. They go VERY light on the sauce and the cheese is a blend containing more than your standard mozzarella. This isn’t a bad thing but something I feel patrons should know. When it comes to pricing Jo Jos is higher than peers. For reference: A slice of cheese is $2.25, five wings are $6.25, six mozzarella sticks are $5.79, seven jalapeño poppers are $6.99. Overall this Jo Jos doesn’t do anything “wrong” but also isn’t doing anything to make themselves stand out.

Anthony’s Pizzeria – Menu with Prices – 9659 suite 103, Milliken Ave, Rancho Cucamonga

Great pizza, even better cannolis! I mustve passed by this place a hundred times before ever trying a pizza here. The signage may be a little confusing but the pizza is delicious! Mind you, there are A LOT of pizza places around the Rancho/Ontario area and this one is definitely my top two! The thing i like about their pizzas is that I dont feel like complete crap after eating them. I get a medium “Gotta love cheese” its like their white pizza, and its just perfect. The pizza dough is light and fresh, and you can really taste the difference between other places. Now, the cannolis!!!?!?!?!? amazing! Crunchy, fresh, and cream filling is legit. Its not that type of tasteless filling, or filling that tastes like buttercream frosting, its the real deal. I usually do not care for cannolis AT ALL! The first cannoli i’ve ever had was in Little Italy in NYC at this popular cannoli spot and it was trash compared to the cannolis here at Anthony’s. Please don’t buy any because I hate going there and there aren’t that many left. Thanks! There is a bit of a wait sometimes because theres only a few people that work here but its not too bad. The employees I’ve encountered are very nice and sweet, theres one lady that is always so sweet and another guy who looks like he may be thee Anthony who was so so nice when I came in to buy cannolis so I could eat my feelings–I always look forward to visiting this spot. However, my sister did have kind of an unpleasant experience with one employee we hadn’t seen before due to him talking to a customer for an extended amount of time and then not being able to make her the pizza she wanted. Other than that, a great place with great pizzas and cannolis!

Lui’s Pizza & Subs Menu with Prices 1150 N Harbor Blvd #106, Anaheim

Best Pizza in Anaheim bar none. Have tried other places all over the place always to my sincere regret within North/West Anaheim. Lui’s is #1 for me. My faves include: Garlic cheese STICKS (there is a difference, they have regular garlic cheese bread which is not the pizza pie cheese sticks) Buffalo Wings! This place is my favorite wings place, I don’t think of anywhere else when I want wings. My custom orders: * Mushroom Pepperoni Sausage w/ Jalapenos is my personal signature pizza. * Hawaiian with Jalapenos is delicious * chicken bacon mushroom jalapenos Their Signature Chicken Club is #1 in the OC bar none. Deluxe/Supreme is fantastic as well. THE CRUST makes for EXCELLENT BREADSTICKS to dip in your favorite marinara, ranch, etc sauces. GRAVY! Its an honest pizza pie shop, great pizza, hidden gem, not as well known as other places because of its location but for locals and visitors to Disneyland – you just have to try it. Due to to size of the place it is not very good for dining in – unless you are alone or with 1 other person, best solution go for pickup. — TIP TIP TIP TIP TIP — Plan to be at the shop within 20-25minutes of your order so you get it HOT off the oven. If you phone-in ( it sometimes can be difficult to reach, since they go all hands on deck making their orders and any extra hands are delivering pies ). But its not because they are trying to ignore you, when they get busy, they get busy. Just keep calling every 5 minutes and you’ll get them. Delivery times tend to be 45 minutes to an hour for locals. I meant to post another 5 stars in 2018 but this one will do for both 2018 and 2019. I’m actually going to surprise my brother for his birthday by grabbing him a pie and some IPAs to go with this glory.

Denver Pizza Company – Menu with Prices – 908 Jersey St, Denver

I decided to try their $10 discount coupon that came in the mail for dinner tonight and ordered one of their specialty pizzas with artichoke hearts and 6 pieces of wings. In my online order, I replaced mozzarella with fresh mozzarella for the pizza and requested the buffalo sauce to be on the side for the wings. The coupon worked once I fulfilled the minimum order amount ($30) and delivery was prompt. With tax, delivery fee, and tips, the total cost went over $30 even after the discount. Still, I thought everything was going well until this point… When I opened the boxes a bit later to serve dinner to my family, I realized there was NO cheese of any kind at all on the pizza and the wings were drenched in buffalo sauce. Without any cheese, the pizza was brittle and flavorless, and the saucy wings were too spicy for my toddler. So I called again and they sent me another pizza with cheese on top this time but no wings. Instead of giving me a new set of wings without sauce, they gave me a cup of even more buffalo sauce, of which I don’t understand the purpose. I didn’t order an extra cup of sauce–I just wanted plain wings and the sauce on the side so that I could share them with my toddler… In terms of flavors, however, the wings actually tasted better than the pizza. The thin crust of the pizza was way too dry like biscuits with no gummy chewiness. The toppings and Alfredo sauce were okay but not memorable either. Overall, it was too much hassle and not enough satisfaction for a $30 meal. I think I’ll just go back to my usual favorite pizzerias in town.

Mama Miaâ??s Pizza and Sandwiches – Menu with Prices – 604 E Locust St Suite 103, Des Moines

Mama Mia’s is a place we had been wanting to try and glad we did. First off the people working here were very friendly and the service was excellent. They have a few beers and wines here, not a big selection but should fit anyone’s wants. We ordered the Pierogi, great flavor to these dumplings and the ranch cream dip was tasty. I saw many people order the meatballs, think we’ll try those next time. Our pizza was a meatball and pepperoni, it’s a thin crust and very delicious. We don’t always get dessert at places, but they did have cannolis, and well worth it, great flavor to it and super tasty. The place is on the smaller side, has a fun atmosphere. Also they have an arcade game in the back with classic games like Donkey Kong and others, reminds of the pizza places I went to as a kid.

New York pizza kitchen – Menu with Prices – 2-50 W South St, Orlando

Deserves ZERO stars! Literally the most horrible pizza place ever. Delivery took an hour for horrible, days old looking pizza, dry mozzarella sticks that came with ranch dressing, and soggy onion rings. Aside from everything being disgusting, the pizza order was wrong, they brought the wrong sodas as well and who serves mozzarella sticks with ranch dressing??? The driver didn’t even deliver to our room and asked us to walk to the lobby to pick up. He also made sure to tell us that tips weren’t included in the price which I’m pretty sure there WAS a delivery fee. Bottom line…Don’t trust a random flyer under your hotel door, esp if it has no location address AND read reviews before ordering anywhere!!

Kennedy Chicken – Menu with Prices – 111-01 Rockaway Blvd, Jamaica

I walked in around 5:30 pm and ordered Pepperoni Pizza slice and 2 chicken wings. The wait time was ok and the prices are on par with other such fast food places. The wings were ok, though one seemed a little pink. The pizza on the other hand was disgusting, truthfully Iâ??m downplaying a little how bad it was. The cheese seemed like the kind that comes in frozen pizza, and led me to believe this pizza was not made today. Overall, not a good experience, will not come back. There is a pizza store a block away, Sofia, try that out instead if in the mood for pizza. I gave one star extra only because there was hot sauce on the table, and such I drowned out the last bit of food with it.

Fatte’s Pizza – Menu with Prices – 2767 W Shaw Ave #117, Fresno

Found this place on yelp and decided to give them a try. At first, we called them to place a take out order and no answer for 3 minutes. So we initially moved on, looking into another pizzeria. Surprisingly, they called us back! Person over the phone said their phone system isn’t set up to do dual calls and had another customer on the line. We were caught off-guard but was able to place the Family deal, which is 2 large pizzas (2 toppings), a side of 8 wings, garlic bread, and 6 cans of sodas. We ordered a side of jalapeños & ranch as well, which was a smaller portion than what other pizzeria places provide. Total came out to $30 plus change. Definitely a great deal! Upon arrival, the shop is located at Shaw & West. They have a little lobby with an arcade game and I believe two tables for dine in. Cashier was cordial and offered plates, pepper & cheese, and asked if there was anything else. *An FYI side note, they support local schools, so they had little fundraisers on the side, which never hurts to donate in. For the pizza, we ordered Classic Hawaiian (Ham & Pineapple) and a Pepperoni & Bacon pizza. Flavor for both pizzas were there, right amount of meats/cheese/pineapple, crust was crunchy on the outside & soft on the inside. They offered cheese for a $1 more on the garlic bread, but we went plain, which was fine. They offer 3 flavors for the wings: spicy, sweet teriyaki, & BBQ garlic. We ordered the spicy buffalo, which we honestly think it comes from Costco or Smart & Final, then added more sauce on top. So the wings were a turn off; it didn’t have that crunch and was soggy, drenched with sauce, when we got to it. We would honestly come back and order again. Place would’ve been a 5 star from us, but it is a basic pizzeria. Hopefully, owners will look into setting up the phone lines to acknowledge other callers to hold while they’re on the other line. They can improve on the wings and probably upside the ranch & jalapeños for the extra fee. Other than that, we enjoyed our family deal dinner from them and would definitely consider them next time. Give them a try and hope your experience was as pleasant as ours!

Sterling Hotel Menu with Prices 343 Hamilton St, Allentown

Absolutely love the Sterling Hotel! 8 of us went for Mother’s Day! We had a variety of appetizers including jalapeño poppers, tuna nachos & the wings. All very good & nice size portions. Our main course come out without being rushed but just perfect timing. The burgers are favorites with out family & I had the crab cake which was delicious. This past Saturday 3 of us were back for lunch. Salmon BLT, Grilled cheese with bacon & blueberries was amazing! Never disappointed here!

Angelo Brocato – Menu with Prices – 214 N Carrollton Ave, New Orleans

Very rarely do I give out a 5 star rating, but Angelo’s is straight up deserving! After having a not so delicious dinner somewhere else, we figured we would head to Angelo’s for some cannolis. As always, we were in heaven as soon as we walked in the doors. This is an Italian bakery and gelato hotspot in the city and it was packed, but the pastry cases were delightfully full of yummies. The cannolis are hand piped to order. The coffee is delicious and if you can get your hands on the gelato or anything else, DO! We tried the eclairs this go round as well as the baba rhum cake and baci gelato. I’m salivating just reminiscing! Ordered cannolis to go and they took the time to wrap them in this precious box with a little yarn bow. That extra mile goes a long way in my book! Must try: cannolis, chocolate dipped cannoli, tiramisu cake, eclairs, and gelato!

Best Wings Of Memphis – Menu with Prices – 951 Getwell Rd, Memphis

This is part of a chain of hot wing places in the city. I’ve not eaten at their other locations, so can’t compare it to their other sites. This location is relatively new. The store was clean, and the service was good. There is dine in as well as takeout, and also drive-through. Parking was adequate, and it was easy to get in and out of the parking lot. I ordered the four piece mild whole wings. The wings were fried, and then covered with the sauce. Wings were average size, and the taste is about what you would expect of most wings The wings came with two rolls, a few carrots and small celery slices, and ranch dressing dip. Overall I would rate the wings as average. If I was in the area and hungry for wings, I would stop here again. But up I was really interested for a serious meal of wings, I would probably go to Buffalo wild wings or another place.

The Public House by Evans Brewing Co – Menu with Prices – 138 W Commonwealth Ave, Fullerton

Came here with a group of 5 for a quick happy hour, after work. This location is relatively close to the main parking structure which was great for our group to meet up. We came in at around 5:30 and there was plenty of seating and not very busy for a Thursday. The waitress sat us down quickly and set our table up while the rest of our group arrived. Since it was around dinner time, we were all very hungry and decided to order the wings, pork sliders, pulled pork nachos, and the brew-b-q pizza to share. Each order of wings come with 6, and since they were relatively small, we decided to order 3 of the happy hour wings. Even though we only ordered 3 they were very considerate to spread the wings out into 4 separate plates which made sharing a lot easier. The wings were well cooked and glazed in a good amount of sauce. The ranch dipping sauce was extremely thin and watery and did not taste like ranch at-all. I would highly recommend opting for the blue cheese dressing instead. As for the pork sliders, it came with an order of three and although I did not actually try them everyone said they were very tasty and very filling. Let me start by saying I am a nacho enthusiast, and I love a good stack of nachos with all the fixings. The nachos did have a good amount of fixings on top of them, nacho cheese, sour cream, pickled jalapenos, the pulled pork, and cotija cheese, but I felt as if all they were very sauce heavy and lacked a good crunch to the chips. Regardless, for the price they were decent. Again, I did not get to try the brew-b-q pizza but by the looks of it, it looked more like a small flatbread pizza. We were shocked since the waitress described the pizza as being “pretty big”. However, the rest of the group did say the pizza was decent. To drink we all ordered the happy hour beer and shot combo. I like that they let me switch out the bourbon for tequila since I am not a big fan of bourbon. On an empty stomach, this was all I needed to feel the alcohol quickly. The beer itself was tasty, the type of beer you should not sip and instead just chug to get the full taste. Overall, for a happy hour, I felt the food and drinks were decently priced and would recommend starting off a night.
