They have the most authentic Micheladas in austin! They have different topping options available, like ceviche, or fruit, or aguachiles. Each drink is about 32 ounces of a tomato/ veggie base mixed with lots of lime and spices and topped with Mexican beer. It’s the perfect cure for a hangover, or super refreshing on a hot ass day, or a whole meal if you’re juicing. They also have tacos!! They’ll let you try their mix before you buy the drink. They’re amazing.

TJ Oyster Bar – Menu with Prices – 601 E Palomar St, Chula Vista

1st time at this location and probably will be my last. I was waiting all day to have a michelada to cure my hangover. So, with that being said – my experience wasn’t phenomenal. They have two tables outside which my mom and I had picked to eat because I had my french bulldog with me. I ordered 1) half order of aguachili 2) 7 seas soup for my sick mom 3) michelada w/ a corona. And sat outside. First of all- it took 30 min for our order to be complete. 20 min for my aguachili and 30 min later for my moms soup. Doesn’t aguachili cook itself in lemon— don’t understand why it took so long to serve. Also, wish they would have told me that I can’t have my drink outside 30 min earlier so i could have not eaten there all together. Turns out they can’t serve beer “outside” but at their other two locations – this has never been an issue. I’ve had my beers outside at the other two locations. Besides the point. My aguachili was the worst I ever had and I was super sad about it. I never expected it to be that bad. I’m giving 3 stars VS 2 because the manager was able to at the very least refund my michelada. And, the guy at the bar was the only one showing sympathy. FYI. The cashier was extremely rude from start to finish. Goodbye.

Sri Windsor Cafe – Menu with Prices – 123 W Windsor Rd, Glendale

Sri Windsor, you saucy little minx, you! I love you! When I moved to LA I did not have a car for the first four months I lived here and my stomach relied solely on places that deliver. My choices in Los Feliz/Atwater were pretty limited, not to mention insanely expensive, but I found my champion in Sri Windsor. The delivery is super quick and I never once had an issue with delayed service or my order being incorrect. The delivery driver was super friendly, as well. The food is amazing. The pineapple curry is my favorite and comes in mild, medium and hot. Beware – The hot will melt your mouth, throat and internal organs. I lather my food in Sriracha normally, so I am no wimp when it comes to heat. Their hot though, PHEW! Better be ready to call an AM-BA-LANCE! Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Their Thai tea is also amazing and is a dessert and a drink all rolled into one. The prices are super reasonable and they usually always have some sort of online coupon for something free or money off when you order online. Oh, that’s the other great thing! An authentic Thai restaurant with online ordering, it’s a God-send! My one and only complaint is that they are not open on weekends. There is nothing better than Thai food to nurse a wicked hangover and Sri Windsor is closed on my hangover re-cooperation days. SAD! It’s okay though, I still love you Sri Windsor.

La Huaca Peruvian Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 9213 Sierra College Blvd Suite 140, Roseville

This place has been on my radar for some time now, and thanks to Groupon I was able to finally motivate myself to come here. First thing, no double dipping HH and Groupon. We came here on a Tuesday and it’s HH all day, so keep that in mind. On to the review, this place is amazing. Peruvian food shares a spice and flavor profile with many cuisines, including Japanese and , Chinese influences. So go in with gusto! We ordered a variety of dishes: a trio of empanadas, ceviche, plantains, and a meat stew type dish. The empanadas were delish, I adore empanadas so of course I was all over this. The beef was my favorite, but the chicken and veggie one were equally good. The ceviche we ordered was the Leche de Tigre, a hangover cure and (oh la la) aphrodisiac. Did it work? Maybe ? The meat stew thing, Pachamanca Tres Carnes was tasty, I did prefer the chicken and beef over the pork, but I would definitely order this one again. Lastly, we had plantains, or plantanos. I love fried plantains, so naturally, this was amazing. It ended up being a lot more food than we realized, but we also had been on a low carb diet so our appetites were diminished. Drink wise, my husband had Peruvian beer and I had the obligatory pisco sour. Both delicious and I cannot wait to have another one. Service was friendly. Our server was running around by herself for most of the evening and even had a LARGE party to attend to as well. Despite being in the weeds during our meal she handled herself very professionally. I will be back, especially on a Tuesday when it’s HH all day!

Fusion Lounge – Menu with Prices – 6915 Dixie Rd #4, Mississauga

My boyfriend & I have been regulars at fusion for quite sometime now, the staff is amazing. The service is even better. Ive been to the other sisha lounge in brampton just to see the difference and fusion was by far a better option, heck we left after 30 minutes & went to fusion instead. I was there about 2 weeks ago now & when we went to get up and pay I literally fainted and fell to the ground. The staff was awesome, the owner sat with me ans explained that it was ok and its happened before because of course I was embrassed. As soon as I woke up theyre was a pop in my face and the owner did not let us leave until he felt like I would be okay and I just wanted to give a huge thank you to the owner and the staff at fusion lounge for theyre outstanding service everytime. This is always my go to spot to hang out with friends. 10/10 recommended

Leopold’s Tavern Winnipeg Osborne – Menu with Prices – 696 Osborne St, Winnipeg

+.5 for service This place has an amazing breakfast selection. At least, that’s all I had here so far, but looking at options such as a bucket of bacon, I definitely believe there’s a lot to offer here. Their breakfast club menu has lots of wonderful choices including chicken and waffles and the hangover cure. I went with the breakfast club brekkie with bacon and poutine. Needless to say I’m glad I went with their bacon. It really deserves the hype it does! I attended a friend’s wedding at the Park Theatre beside the restaurant last year, and Leopold’s served them a bucket of bacon since they mentioned how they love bacon so much. It was great then and it’s still great today. The eggs were prepared well and the poutine was worth the $2.50 extra given the portion size (huge!). Service was excellent and the servers were very efficient with their work here. I’d definitely return to try their dinner menu, or have a night at a South Osborne bar.

TNT Vietnamese Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 3452 Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy, Des Moines

There is something beautiful about the history of Iowa as it relates to opening its doors to immigrants. Part of the great diversity of Des Moines is due to the amazing southeastern Asian population. Lao, Thai, Vietnamese and Tai Dam people all call the Des Moines area home. Thanks to this, there is a wealth of amazing restaurants reflecting the diverse population now calling Iowa home. TNT Vietnamese restaurant is the epitome of the relationship Iowa has with immigrants. (Had may be the operative word here. There should be a lot more falafel restaurants in Des Moines, but I don’t want to go off on a political rant.) After a late night out and about on date night, we needed to find a cure to our self inflicted misery and had been meaning to check out TNT – perfect timing. It was a Sunday and it was jam packed – filled with families enjoying a nice Sunday afternoon meal. Almost all of the conversations were in a language not English. When you see that, and you hear that – you’ve arrived. It simply won’t be possible to have a bad meal. After hearing how long the wait was, we thought we’d just order at the counter and take it home and a tap on the shoulder came. “Sir, I’m finishing my soup, your family should sit down.” Unbelievable. We insisted he finish, and ordered at the counter and by the time the gentleman was done eating, it was on. I wanted to buy his lunch, but he was gone before I could talk to the waitress. We ordered spring rolls – tofu and shrimp – and they were stuffed full of herbs – not your usually skinny spring rolls either. Because we were feeling festive, we ordered the banh xeo. Every time I order it I murder the pronunciation and I know there should be an accent over the E, but if you’ve never had it – get it. It’s meant to be eaten with your hands. It’s supposed to be crispy, and it’s one of my favorite foods in the entire world. I’ve eaten this dish countless hundreds of times, and I used to live near little Vietnam in Chicago – and it’s not hyperbole when I say this, but it was the best banh xeo I have ever had. It was so crisp that it crackled when you cut it up. The pork fat melted into the crepe, the bean sprouts were perfect, and it was the perfect cure for my hangover. The pho didn’t disappoint. The broth is beefy and spicy – not simply bland brown water as in some places, and not sweet, but an aromatic broth that warms your soul. Many times when you order pho you get a little bit of meat, but there was so much meat I could barely finish it all. All of it was cooked to perfection. If it tasted this good on a mild day in September, it’s only going to taste better on a cold day in February. The bathrooms were clean, the service was friendly, and the parking was plentiful. A jewel of Des Moines where you can enjoy a delicious meal at a price that won’t break your budget. It’s going to take quite a few visits to explore the depth of the menu, and I can’t wait to give it a shot.

Mr Dolar #2 Taco Truck – Menu with Prices – 5700 S Shields Blvd, Oklahoma City

I first came here after a recommendation of a friend and I keep coming back to this place whenever i’m in OKC. They sell delicious, authentic Mexican food for cheap prices (5 tacos for $5 anyone?) Don’t be fooled by the rugged exterior; they know how to make clean, quality food. The asada tacos are my favorite but the others were worth a try. Their torta is also excellent although more avocado might be nice. Their horchata drink is so refreshing and a must-have!!!

Taqueria La Antigua Guatemala – Menu with Prices – 156B E 004.01, Chattanooga

Great atmosphere, food, and friendly staff. Al Pastor tacos were outstanding. The sauces were amazing and complimented the tacos delicious and delicate flavor. Prices were reasonable; my meal as pictured was approximately $6.00. A beer and 4 tacos, not bad and plenty filling

The Juice Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 1617 W North Ave, Milwaukee

I come to this place all the time but always forget to write a review. I know the owners which are good friends of mine. The story behind the Juice Kitchen is that it is solely founded on the concept of juicing is medicine for the community. The owners child was sick with a rare illness and the doctors advice and over the counter and prescription medicine weren’t working. Well the owners put their heads together and started giving their child fresh juices that they knew would help combat the illness. Well after a few weeks and few months their child was healed. They took the concept a step further to say how can we help the community and world with such illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, cancer prevention, etc. From that concept the Juice Kitchen was established and every-time I go inside you see diverse crowd of patrons, and the atmosphere and the juices are really delicious. I have been juicing since the late 90s, so to see this business thriving brings joy to my soul and a big smile to my face!! I brought a few of my students here to show them healthy eating and juicing options. They loved it. We ordered the WAPO Juice (watermelon, cucumber, Apple, lime, ginger)… The Popsicle Juice (strawberry, cantaloupe, orange, honey and mint) and the C-Walk (ginger, orange, lemon, turmeric and honey). Each of the juices were amazing!!! I definitely endorse the juice kitchen and they have a customer for life….

Finney’s Crafthouse & Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 35 State St a, Santa Barbara

I came here for happy hour (which is 3-6pm Monday-Friday) and I was not disappointed! The service, food, location, and drinks were amazing. It’s only about a block from the beach/pier and it has indoor and patio seating (pet friendly)! To start of with drinks, I ordered the meggerz mule, If you love chili mango, you will love this drink. It was refreshing and delicious. This drink exceeded my expectations and not to mention only $7. We also ordered the buffalo cauliflower, margherita pizza, mini ahi poke tacos, and their chicken and waffle bites. These items were amazing and I personally can’t even pick a favorite because all of them were so good and delicious!! Their happy hour had $6, $7, and $9 food items as well as a $15 combo meal which comes with burger, fries, and beer (what a steal)!! Not to mention their craft beers are all $5 during happy hour! Service was great and our server was very accommodating. We sat at the patio and we were able to enjoy our food with our four-legged best friend. What more can you ask for?! I can’t wait to come back again to try more of their menu items & drinks.

We came here after eating a expensive italian Dinner that was overrated an overpriced…. El Sabor De La Baja – Menu with Prices – 625 H St, Chula Vista

To begin with I LOOOOVE that it’s not cash only. I never have cash and this place takes cards . We went because my fiancé and I were too lazy to drive all the way to tj to get tacos like we usually do and omg I think I found my new favorite place for tacos. We only got fish tacos this time just bc we like to play it safe when trying out a new place BUT hands down the best fish tacos I’ve had in San Diego. The batter was great it was thin and not all thick and overbearing usually I end up removing batter and this time I didn’t have to take any off! For a food truck it was super clean, the three men working were super clean as well and the tables they have set up were also clean and I love that. We will definitely be back and possibly even become regulars, we usually go to tj oaster bar because it’s closer to our home however I think I rather drive the extra distance for some amazing tacos !!
