If you’re looking to buy Ice cream, candy, or any great treats for resale. Or just want Awsome individualy wrapped ice creams and candies of ALL typs. This is the place. Mike is a great guy to do business with and they are very quick about filling orders. Its open to the public so if you want to buy badass treats for a party, Or just really want that old school bomb pop (you know the “BIG ONE’S,” they don’t carry in grocery stores). Like when you were a kid. This is the place! They are CASH ONLY, so come prepared. They are open from 8 am to 3 pm (8 am to 1pm on sundays). Off lemon and commonwealth in Fullerton. If your going north on lemon and go under the train tracks they are on the right before the Mexican restaurant. I drive an ice cream truck, and these guys are the best to do business with. So I know they are consistent and great people!

Virginia ABC – Menu with Prices – 10685 Braddock Rd, Fairfax

Quiet location behind University Mall. It’s in the back lot on the lower end, but I do like the location. It’s probably the newest ABC store, and the employees are quite friendly. They know their liquors or “spirits” as they’re referred to. Unfortunately in the Commonwealth we are forced; to buy liquor from state government run ABC stores. It’s outdated and ridiculous, and it’s high time the idiots in Richmond allow for privatization. This would lead to competition and lower prices. Yet of course the commonwealth wouldn’t go for that. Hours are decent, and this location has the “new store smell.” There is a good selection. I won’t deny that, and the legal “Apple pie moonshine ” is a treat. They have plenty of hard liquors to choose from. For a state run shop this is a good one. Obviously being close to GMU, college students could make this store more interesting. Time will tell.

B’s Cool Treats Ice Cream Truck – Menu with Prices – 1051 N Jefferson Ave, Sarasota

Best ice cream truck in town. The owner is super nice and great with kids. Plus the truck is pretty cool. They’ve got a bunch to choose from and I even found my favorite orange-sicle from when I was a kid. They even have locally made PopCraft popsicles. I asked and she’ll bring the truck out for parties and other events, so I’m calling her for my daugther’s birthday party. Great local business.

Frank’s Italian Ices – Menu with Prices – 687 Ling Rd, Rochester

I’m embarrassed to say i live right down the road from this place but never stopped in….When you walk in you might be greeted by the sweetest old man you could ever meet…Frank. Frank owns Franks Italian Ice. Or the place might be empty…with the door open on a hot summers day…and frank might be right next door at Savastano’s, sitting down and having a cup of coffee. If he is, just give a little shout and he will come right over to serve you. (the two stores share a door inside) Immediately you will think you have been good friends with Frank for years as he talks to you like you are part of his family. I learned that Frank’s Italian Ice used to be Al’s Italian ice…Al was Franks father and Frank has been making the stuff since he was 5 years old. Back in the day Al’s Italian ice was The biggest player in the game…And the italian ice shop used to have lines out the door on the regular…But Now that Franks father has passed…And Frank renamed it Franks Italian ice…He has this new location..Much more modest…and he sells a lot of the product to all the little shops around rochester. But still makes it all himself in the back of store with his machines. I wish i could tell you the prices for franks because I didnt see any…and when i asked he didnt really say what they were lol…I walked in expecting to pay with a Credit Card…but i learned he doesn’t take credit/debit. Just cash….and i only had 6 bucks in my pocket….but yet i still managed to walk out with 2 quarts of the finest, most creamiest, Delicious italian ice and Gelati i have ever had. and when i walked out i still had 1 buck left in my wallet….I felt so bad…Like i had just robbed him. I told him i would come back n give him more cash tomorrow…He just shrugged and said “eh”. What i got…Chocolate Gelati…and Italian Lemon ice. Oh my goodness…i think i am swearing off ice cream…The lemon ice was so creamy you would swear it was made with cream..But nope. No milk..No cream…and it taste like a dream. Not overly sweet either…I felt like i was eating a cloud. The chocolate Gelati…Looks like it would taste super dark…But it’s not. It’s soooo good. Taste like he adds some sort of liquor in it. Almond maybe? You don’t feel guilty after eating it either. Like you do when you have regular ice cream or custard. All in all…If you want the best italian ice you have ever had in your life…please come to Gates, NY and stop in at Franks Italian ice. Bring cash because credit/debit is not accepted. I am so proud to live in a town that has a place like Franks open..that is not only rich in Gelati/italian ice..But also rich with so much History.

Love Your Melon Studio – Menu with Prices – 226 N Washington Ave, Minneapolis

First things first, yes the owner of Melon Treats is also the owner of Love Your Melon – the company that sells those trendy winter hats. So why do they sell ice cream? In the words of Zachary, the co founder and owner, “Ice cream makes people happy and ice cream that fights cancer, who can beat that?!” This isn’t your normal ice cream shop, so here’s the Melon Treats how to 101 First, don’t worry about choosing between a dish or a cone… you get both! They’ll begin with a dish in hand and let you know that you get three scoops. Not one, not two, but three! You have the choice of getting all three as one flavor, two scoops of the same plus an extra flavor on top, or mixing it up with all three being different. Those are literally all your ice cream scooping options, you’re welcome! From there, things only get better! For no extra charge, you can add sprinkles and a cone on top. If you’re that cone person, just flip the cup along with your frown upside down and everything will be all better! Finally, when you think things can’t get any better, it suddenly does because Melon Treats is guilt free eating, no matter the time of day! How? Like the purchase of a “Love Your Melon” hat, 50% of profit from every “Melon Treats” ice cream or apparel purchase goes to cancer research. Right now they’re saying they’re only selling ice cream in the summer & they’ll focus on the hats once it gets cold. However, if you ask me, I think they found a new business that will go all year round. Have you been looking for a new ice cream spot? Well this isn’t just a new spot, it might become your new FAVORITE spot!

Yolk White & Associates – Menu with Prices – Unnamed Road, Tampa

Dylan’s food truck is wonderful. A pure gift. He prepares real food, delicious food, fresh before you. It is all delicious and creative. I love the options of frittatas, omelettes, and breakfast sandwiches. And dont forget the grits!! The coffee is high end too. We ended up here after stopping by the new Buddy Bra across the street. The food was awful, prepared and microwaved, nothing like the location on Kennedy. Dylan saved the day!! He prefers cash, but I saw him take a card too. And, when you get a chance, his Dad’s Hot Donut truck is also delicious!! Cheers to real food prepared by real people. Thank you, Dylan!!

Nekter Juice Bar – Menu with Prices – 2001 McHenry Ave Ste. N, Modesto

I waited 2 months for this place to finally open after their announcement to open in Modesto. I missed out going there the first weeks because of health problems. But today I went there at 2 on a Sunday in 100° summer heat and was told there was no more “ice cream” and none expected for the rest of the scorching modesto summer. I’ve had it in orange county..not actual ice cream but a healthy version that tastes like ice cream and costs a lot more. My husband bought the peanut butter acai bowl which was perfect he said. It’s not huge though and cost over $8. I went there for the nut based ice cream, and I did try the acai bowl which tasted great. But I believe ending the ice cream run half way through summer in the scorching valley heat is poor business especially with a store three doors down that serves cold treats year round and less expensive. The store is nicely decorated with parking right out front and clean accessible bathrooms.

Rollstar Sushi – Menu with Prices – 946 Yonge St, Toronto

Day two of being open for business. I popped in to see what RollStar is all about. The space is tiny, especially compared to the previous business that occupied this space. There are only three seats at the window so it’s pretty much geared for takeout only. There is an open cooler with beverages and boxed foods, convenient for grab and go. Their menu lists quite a few sushi rolls, a few appetizers, a short list of sashimi, and an even shorter list of bento boxes and udon noodles. They also offer sushi platters, with up to 75 pieces. This might be good for some office meetings. They open for lunch during the week, 11:30am – 2:00pm, and then for dinner at 4:00pm until 9:00pm. They’re closed on Saturdays and open on Sundays, 5:00pm – 9:00pm. Hmmm… I tried the crab roll from the Grab ‘n’ Go cooler for $5.00 (no tax). It came with eight pieces that were uneven in size. It tasted okay, just about average, and the wasabi had very little bite to it. There are several Japanese and Asian restaurants in this area and even grocery stores that sell sushi. With RollStar selling mostly sushi rolls, they will probably need to be really good or really cheap to compete with the other places. With this being only their second day, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and update my review after they’ve had some time to settle in.

Mariscos VIP – Menu with Prices – 2001 S Main St, Santa Ana

I’m going to rate this as what it is-a food truck. This is not gourmet dinning. When I eat at a food truck I have no expectations for great, friendly service with smiles etc. Although that’s a plus, I’m pretty much interested in the way the food tastes! This is my second time here. 1st visit I had a coctel de camarón! It has great! Perfect coctel. Today I had ceviche de pescado. Again, great choice. I’m going HG to continue coming here. The food is amazing! The service is fast. Bring cash because it is cash only. 5 stars!

Dino’s ice cream & water ice store – Menu with Prices – 6 S Union St, Wilmington

Absolutely fantastic homemade water ice. I’ve had the lemon, cherry, mango, and pineapple and have never been let down. I recommend getting any of the above as a gelati with vanilla ice cream. The staff are always friendly and quality is great regardless of if you go to the shop or truck!

Barnes & Noble – Menu with Prices – Mosaic District, 2921 District Ave Suite 180, Fairfax

I have gone to this new Barnes and Noble several times since it opened, including being there when they opened their doors for the first time! I was so excited that the Mosaic District was finally getting a bookstore! The store is basically a mini version of their “regular-sized” stores. For instance, it’s significantly smaller than the one at Tyson’s. However, it does manage to have most departments, just on a smaller level! There is a café here too, with a few tables on the inside and some more on the outside. When I first came, they were mostly just serving cookies and scones. Now they have added many more interesting items, including quiche and croissants, so that’s great to see! They even had a pumpkin scone, which I will definitely be getting during my next visit! The staff here are all friendly and eager to help. They close at 7:00 pm on Sundays and 9:00 pm every other day, so their hours are slightly reduced from other locations. I would love to see them open until later someday, since they are the perfect place to browse through and get a small bite in the evening. Of course, their big challenge continues to be staying afloat in the era of Amazon. It’s so hard for them to compete with their prices and selection. For instance, I tried to purchase some books from them that my daughter needed for school. Unfortunately, they didn’t have them (and I was told they couldn’t get them from their warehouse) but, of course, I was able to find them on Amazon. They do host book clubs and other special events, so those are great advantages they have over online stores. They also have a nice selection of magazines (though much smaller than their other stores). I am looking forward to seeing how successful this new concept of small stores turns out to be. As with the smaller concept stores of Walmart and Target, I find them quite limiting and often challenging to find what I’m looking for. But they are better than nothing! I am certainly hoping they will succeed!

Zeds Real Fruit Ice Cream – Menu with Prices – 4001 SW Canyon Rd, Portland

I love Raspberry Ice Cream….and I can honestly say that ZED’S ICE CREAM TRUCK offers the best Raspberry Ice Cream I’ve eaten in my 73 years of life. I ran into this truck at a Portland park event that my grand-daughter, the gymnast, was participating in a show at. I saw someone eating what looked like a yummy scoop of ice cream and discovered it was the Zed’s truck. I got to hear the history of their ultra cool machine and watch them add fresh raspberries to TILLAMOOK vanilla ice cream..We all know that Tillamook is the best ice cream in the state, right? Gotta support our local cows and dairy farmers. The addition of fresh fruit..Sunday they were seeing Raspberry, Strawberry and Marionberry. I wish I could have tried them all, but the waffle cone I had was filled way up over the top with the ice cream turned into magic soft serve. I understand the truck is usually on Hawthorne..a sad thing for me as I live on the west side..but all you east siders..go see the guys at ZEDS..and have them tell you the story of where the machine comes from..it’s interesting.

Blue Bell Creameries – Menu with Prices – 10950 Pellicano Dr # D, El Paso

We were very sad when Blue Bell Ice Cream wasn’t available but now we are very happy because their business returned and all of our family enjoys it very much. Though, we would enjoy that more flavors were available to us in El Paso, Texas Walmart stores such as Cookies and Cream and Peaches and Homemade Vanilla. We love Blue Bell Ice Cream.
