This was my first time visiting Daylight Donuts. My sister and I ordered 3 Kolaches, 3 Donuts and 3 Pastries for about $13. I enjoyed the Jalepeno Sausage and Cheese Kolach and an Eclair with blueberry filling. It was so good! I’m not a big fan of sweets, but I have been craving an Eclair and I’m glad I got one from here! We took our order to-go but if you want to stay, they can seat about 15 people. You can of course have your morning coffee fix here as well as they offer a variety of coffees, cappuccinos and frapps. The eating space and restrooms are clean and the employees are very nice and give good customer service.

Yum Yum Donuts – Menu with Prices – 16530 Soledad Canyon Rd, Canyon Country

Yum Yum is one of my favorite places to stop by when I need some coffee or a bagel on my way to work. They’re super friendly, they’re very reasonable priced, and they offer such a wide variety of sandwiches/bagels/donuts/drinks/etc. that it’s no wonder I go in there and see so many people in line! I also love that they’re open 24/7 because other places (such as Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts) don’t open until later on in the morning. My typical order is just a medium coffee with a toasted everything bagel and cream cheese. They’re very close to my house as well so that’s an added plus!

Krispy Kreme – Menu with Prices – 4904 S Cleveland Ave, Fort Myers

The donuts have always been hot and excellent , the bagels are also great, and coffee was fine. I would have given it a 5 star rating if I did not experience the poor customer service that I received. There were 2 people in front of me and a line of people behind me and the whole time I waited only 1 person was waiting on customers inside and it seemed like they had plenty of help. I believe they had about 7 people that I could recall at the time that I was there and I just cannot believe that not 1 of those 7 people came over to help that 1 lady out at the customer service counter. As a managers point of view I probably would have taken a video to show all the employees of themselves working so they can see what kind of team work they put into that. It was not that they were not working it was the fact that the customers should have come first and they should have jumped right in to help. Also the cashier that rung my order up was not a happy camper you could tell that he really did not want to be there. He rung my order up and turned around to do something with the coffee machine meanwhile my coffee and donuts were sitting at the register by him and he said â??here you can take itâ?quietly, I could barely hear him and then he slowly gave it to me. I said thank you with a smile and went on my way. Like I said it really was okay just the customer service and working as a team needs some improvement and it is not always like that when I go there but maybe if the employees saw themselves working at that time then maybe it could help to improve themselves, and be better team players.

Donut Palace – Menu with Prices – 2810 Schaad Rd, Knoxville

This area of Knoxville has been in need of a quick breakfast spot, especially one that opens up before 6 A.M. every day. For the price and quality, The Donut Palace is going to do well. The donuts are made fresh every day/morning. Please keep in mind this isn’t a Krispy-Kreme, there is no “hot light”. So the donuts you eat may be at room temperature, but that’s why the microwave was invented. And guess what, they have one in the store. These donuts are also much larger(and cheaper)in comparison to DD or KK. I purchased some donuts and a breakfast croissant sandwich, along with some coffee. They automatically heat up all the sandwiches and Kolaches, so if you don’t want anything warmed up, let them know. For 5 dollars, you aren’t going to find a better value breakfast. I think this will be my go-to donut dive from now on. I will end with a comment on the customer service. The employees there are extremely friendly and even prepare your coffee with any sugar, creamer, or flavoring you want. They are incredibly efficient at taking orders. They have multiple people working the counter. Do not be worried if there is a line, they will get to you shortly. Job well done to them, and I hope this place has many years of patronage.

Donut Depot – Menu with Prices – 3119 S Main St, Santa Ana

I must say the “CUSTOMER SERVICE is AWESOME”! It is a hole in the wall donut shop, a bit run down, but what I appreciate is that, they are open at the crack of dawn. They don’t seem irritated or even complain about it. Both women who helped me were super nice. It could use a little tender love and care, but what can you do! You dont go there to eat a steak everyone, you go there to get donut and coffees. My coffee was burning hot, my donuts were warmed up and I enjoyed every second of it. I must say I hate the parking though LOL, over all I will be visiting again! Thank You to the women and cooks for opening up so early in the morning for some of us folks!

Ooo La Lattes – Menu with Prices – 2902 Slide Rd, Lubbock

I went in this morning for the first time getting an actual coffee product. I asked for a cappuccino and got a cup of black coffee, it’s not even close to what I asked for. The smoothies are good, but I will not be back for coffee at this place because it is very very obvious that they have no clue what specialty coffee is. A cuppuccino is not a cup of black coffee……..in response to the owner since Google won’t let me reply…..I did specifically ask if they made original cappuccinos and was told yes. That’s the only reason I asked for one is because I was told by Abby, the one that made it, that yes you made original cappuccinos.

New Star Donuts – Menu with Prices – 3110 W Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport

Today we had Donuts with Dad at SPLC and donuts were provided by the BEST DONUT SHOP IN SHREVEPORT on Bert Kouns Industrial loop (ALL STAR DONUTS). They were fresh and delicious. I ordered 32dz. Donut Holes and 32dz. Variety Donuts, I picked up my order at 7:30am that morning and my order was hot and ready for me when I got there. The staff is always nice and friendly. Just wanted to extent a big Thank You to All Star Donuts for making our Donuts with Dad a success. AWESOME BUSINESS!!!! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Status Dough – Menu with Prices – 418 S Gay St STE 101, Knoxville

A+ staff and super cute spot located right in downtown Knoxville! It was super easy to find street parking on a week morning and I enjoyed walking around with my coffee, exploring. They use Intelligentsia as their espresso roast, which I prefer over the other smaller coffee chains like La Colombe. On road trips I always try to scout out the best donuts, and I’m truly a sucker for quality old-fashioneds. When I saw Status dough had a variety of old-fashioned flavors AND good espresso, I immediately routed there. I got the coffee and chocolate covered old-fashioneds. Of the two, I’d recommend the coffee one more as it’s more dense in flavor and texture. The chocolate one was weirdly lacking flavor, the donut cake was pretty dry, and I couldn’t get through half of it. Wasn’t worth the calories. They offer vegan donuts here and a variety of milk alternatives, including oat. It’s a small place but the front area has enough seats for a couple small groups. They have cake donuts and original doughy donuts. If I came back I’d probably try the buttermilk old fashioned as it looked a lot more flavorful. If you like doughy donuts all I can tell you is they looked really fluffy and almost too perfect to eat – so maybe this place would be great for trying those! Check their menu online in advance before visiting to see what seasonal flavors they have in shop.

Village French Bakery – Menu with Prices – 1414 W Kenneth Rd, Glendale

This small family-run bakery in Kenneth Village is my frequent stop for breakfast while out on a walk in the neighborhood or on the way back from a hike at Brand Park. You will know it by the many families and groups of old folks sat outside on the sidewalk conversing in several different languages over hot coffees and tartes. The ladies who man the counter and pull the coffees are very kind and friendly, and the community treats them with grace in return. Tip them well, as they run a tight ship, holding down the fort out front while the kitchen bakes red hot throughout the day. While The Commissary across the street has very expensive cappuccinos with a distinctive nutty taste (and often too loud a radio), the French Bakery sells classic, wonderfully frothy cappuccinos in large porcelain teacups for half the price and with the chattering of your fellow customers as music. The fresh morning pastries are sublime, but remember, this place is a cherished local institution, and the breakfast goods are very often cleaned out by 11 or sometimes 10am. Though I don’t often indulge in the desserts, I know them to be incredible, and they are commonly asked to bake custom cakes for birthdays and other events. Go across the street if you want a place to spread out and do paperwork, but if all you want to do is catch up on the news over coffee, then pssssttt, I have a secret: as of this writing, you can latch onto the Commissary’s wifi from the bakery’s sidewalk patio. If you live in the Grandview/Glenwood area, make The Village French Bakery your local coffee shop, you won’t regret it!

Dino’s Donuts Menu with Prices 929 E 81st Ave, Anchorage

Me: do you have any kale donuts? Girl behind the counter: No Me: do you have any vegan donuts? Girl behind the counter: No Me: do you have any sugar free donuts? Girl behind the counter: No Me: I will have one of every kind… to go. I don’t want healthy donuts. I don’t want good for you donuts. I want a good old fashion morsels of deliciousness made by a crew who knows how to get 5 gallons of flavor in a 3 ounce pastry of perfection! Dino’s nailed it! Outstanding Donuts, outstanding customer service, outstanding variety. Donuts are the last thing on the planet that I should be eating. If my doctor found out, she would say it and then she would do it, (you can figure out what IT is). sometimes the bad boy in me just needs to come out. I have the freedom to decide whether to rob a bank or go get a donut. In an effort to keep the peace and stay out of the federal penitentiary, Dino’s is my go to place when I need to break bad. Eat hearty my friends.

Gospel 2 Donuts Menu with Prices 1100 E Bardin Rd, Arlington

I love coming here for my morning donuts! The owner is always so sweet and there is a great variety of donuts including cake donuts and variations of sausage rolls that I’ve found a majority of donut shops in the area do not carry. The prices are decent and usually if I get a dozen donuts I can expect a few free items.

Epiphany Espresso Menu with Prices 3600 Cutler Ave NE #2, Albuquerque

I stopped by here yesterday with my wife for our morning coffee. Epiphany Coffee happened to be right outside of our hotel and so we headed over before heading out for the day. It’s located on the ground floor level of what I could only call a shipping container mall. The shop itself takes up what looks like two shipping containers. There is seating specific to the coffee shop inside but also some seating for anything in the mall outside. They also have an area with merchandise for sale, a display case which had some fun looking donuts and other pastries and of course the coffee bar. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with a 16 oz cappuccino while my wife went with a 12 oz Americano. Within minutes of ordering, our coffees were ready and we went out into the main area outside to sit. My cappuccino here ended up being pretty good. The milk was steamed and frothed nicely and the coffee itself was bold yet smooth. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Epiphany has a pretty cool space and some nice baristas too.

K & M Doughnut – Menu with Prices – 10431 Lemon Ave # E, Alta Loma

So a few days ago on the Facebook page You know you’re from Rancho if… Someone was seeking a recommendation for a location with great Donuts. A few people recommended this place. It’s one of the few donut houses around I have not tried so I wanted to see what if anything I was missing. Saturday morning 9am I walked in and was promptly greeted politely. I scanned the well stocked display of donuts. Nice variety. I went with a chocolate bar cause that should be simple enough to compare to the chocolate bar at my favorite location, Upland Donuts. Donut in hand and .75¢ out of my pocket I’m out the door. Eager to try the chocolate deliciousness I forget to take a picture but instead jump right in to eating my morning cup full of sugar. First bite my brain says a little firm and definitely no warmth to this at all. Good chocolate flavor and not a bad price for a single donut. Bottom line I was not missing anything. The donut was OK but not nearly as good as my favorite location. I’m not trying to be a hater. If this place is along your route and you like it stick with it. If you are on a hunt for the best donut in the IE keep looking.
