I know that everyone seems to love this place. But, I have to say it’s just so so. It was one of my friends birthdays last month and we came here to celebrate it. As it’s one of her favorite places near her home. It’s a large warehouse type looking place. It is clean though and interestingly decorated. So that’s a plus. The things that are really good is there is covered parking in a garage specifically for Culinary. Which is major in the hot Arizona heat and sun. The bathrooms are clean. As well as we were seated very quickly, even though we did not have reservations. However, this was for lunch . Everything is a little on the high side. It cost me over $100 for three of us to go to lunch. Which I thought was a little high side for what we had. I had soup. It is called Yesterdays soup for $6.50. Which was served with one of the largest spoons I’ve ever seen. Hahaaaa , unfortunately it was barely warm little loan hot! I also got the pierogies which was an appetizer. Those were good. But, also not hot. My friends both got the fried chicken dinner. Which was absolutely huge. Three pieces of chicken mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw. They also both got a soup as well. Yes, they took most of it home with them I believe. Just because there was so much food. You’ll notice on my photos. The chicken was hot. But, the soup really was not hot at all. Service is extremely slow. And at one point our server completely disappeared. Then someone else was helping us to a point. It’s an OK place. I would never say I would never go back there. But, a huge thing is getting cold food that’s not supposed to be cold. I would say absolutely pass on the soup it was full of pasta, and really had very little chicken in it. Plus cold pasta soup is not good. It’s not horrible. But, it’s not fantastic either. I don’t know what everyone so excited about. Other than the great parking situation that’s pretty awesome!

Southern Charm Home Cookin’ – Menu with Prices – 2426 Rand Morgan Rd, Corpus Christi

This restaurant is below average for a couple of reasons: One reason is the customer service. I came into this restaurant with some friends just to chat without eating because I ate not too long beforehand. Well, the staff thought I was trying to sneak food from the buffet lines from my friends even though I never left the table. I knew this because every few minutes they would literally walk by and side-eye me and all I could do is laugh. Leading to the second reason: The food here is absolutely awful! I have my friends agreeing with me %100 to never return here even as a last resort. Slightly cold ‘King Ranch Chicken’ at the peak of lunch hour is unacceptable, I’m sure everyone would agree with that. No thank you!

Mike’s Tavern – Menu with Prices – 5211 TN-153 Suite 103, Chattanooga

UPDATED! Parking is a Disaster- Our Food was Cold… Their food at their other restaurants is much better- the management at this one is at best – Sub-Par- She was out Smoking during the lunch rush.. our food was cold.. I think they have taken on too many franchises to pay the necessary attention to details. – 10-8-19 – Response to Your Questions- I Actually Gave your Establishment 2 chances- once with a very large crowd of 12 people of the owners friends and I had left a very honest review of how bad of an experience we all had but was encouraged to remove it because of the Friendship- and asked to give it another try so I did 2 weeks later on a Business lunch – the week of October 25- We sat in the section as you come in the door- Hope this helps.. As I stated- the other Franchises- are AMAZING in our opinion- Food and attention to details- this one has not received the same- and the parking is absolutely a disaster!

JMC FOOD MARKET – Menu with Prices – 4309, 4901 E Colonial Dr, Orlando

Great custermer service, great price, and the food is absolutely spectacular. He has Cuban coffee and breakfast in the morning and at lunch I bring the crew because it’s affordable and delicious. They store is always clean and she has a different menu. Today she had mofongo, patitas con Lenten beans, fried fish, pork chops with yuca, brown/white rice. Yesterday I had blstew chicken, but my friends ate ribs, soup, plantain and bacalao. Her portions are big and she has take home containers. I highly recommend.,and it’s a small place but they have a big heart for everyone that comes to the store. They also sell beer, water, soda, cigarettes and much more.

VeGreen Vegetarian Fusion Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 3780 Old Norcross Rd #106, Duluth

If you think this is your run of the mill vegan meat substitute restaurant, you are mistaken! This is a real restaurant with very real, delicious vegan food. We visited for lunch. Parking is ample. The restaurant is very clean and modern. They have a beautiful mural on the back wall that fits well with the atmosphere of the restaurant. Our original server was good, but one of our guests that was gluten free and made a special request for a sauce and the server advised that it could not be accommodated. She did however answer questions that we had about the menu. The manager was also walking around greeting tables, so we asked if the sauce request could be accommodated and he indicated that it would be no problem. We ordered the set lunch portions of -Sesame Chicken ($8.50) -General Tso’s Chicken ($8.50) -Pad Thai ($8.50) The food is excellent. Each plate was served with soup and spring roll. I chose seaweed soup which was flavorful, but light. The vegan meat that is used has the texture and consistency of chicken. The taste is almost spot on with chicken, and even though you may have your suspicion that it isn’t chicken, it still tastes absolutely delicious. After leaving I was so surprised at how light and energized I felt as compared to eating traditional non vegan versions of the same.

Caribbean Flayvahz – Menu with Prices – 3650 Ridgeway Rd, Memphis

I just randomly learned about this place. It sits in an abandoned shopping center so there is plenty of parking around. Upon walking in, it’s a nice spacious venue. I can see it being used as live entertainment space. Although it’s spacious, there are only about 8 high top tables with 4 chairs each. The staff was very friendly and smiling. I am just excited that it is another Caribbean type food spot around. I tried a small oxtail plate which came with steamed cabbage and a plantain and 1 side. I chose baked mac and cheese. I absolutely loved the mac & cheese. The oxtails were good too but portion could have been a bit more (especially for $13). I also had a side of small fried chicken only. This to me is what took away the 5th star. It was fried extremely hard, slightly burnt and very salty. They offer lunch specials from 11-2 where you choose from either Fried chicken, curry chicken or jerk chicken with plantain, cabbage and a side. I will definitely go back to try additional items.

Moon Thai Boca Raton Menu with Prices 21170 St Andrews Blvd #7, Boca Raton

I came here for lunch with a friend a little before noon. We got a booth table which I loved. I love the modern decor and I know there was a review that complained that it’s too cold in there but I loved it. I mean, it’s Florida!! It’s so hot outside that I am so grateful that a restaurant has ac. There are some restaurants that won’t have ac or maybe it cost too much for them to run it. They have a lot to choose from so it can be a bit overwhelming if you don’t know what you want. The easiest way is to first decide if you want Thai or Japanese food. Then, look at the corresponding menu. If you come here for lunch, they also have lunch specials. I wanted the duck noodle soup which wasn’t on the lunch special menu but it was still a good deal for $12. It came with a side salad. You can choose a spicy level between 1 to 4. I wasn’t sure how spicy it was so I just chose a 2 and it wasn’t spicy at all. The broth was very sweet actually. There was a lot of rice noodles and Chinese broccoli and slices of duck. It was very good! Service was very good! I’m so glad I got to try this place out and I look forward to coming here again to try something else. Parking was pretty easy. There is a lot of parking but it can get a bit crowded and you might have to walk a little bit but there is a large parking lot.

Paik’s Noodles – Menu with Prices – 28124 Newhall Ranch Rd, Santa Clarita

This is a review for lunch to-go order on a cold weekday! What I ordered: Beef Jjamppongbap (no spice) Food: The broth was flavorful and PERFECT for a cold and rainy weather. I ended up slurping the soup after I finished eating the noodles and toppings! As what others noted, it has a peppery taste which might not be for everyone. But works for me!! The actual bowl was full of vegetables, beef, and a couple of shrimps. You would get a good amount for each mouthful of noodle and soup! Price: $ CHEAP for the quality and quantity! Parking: It always has ample parking. This is located inside the plaza. Service: For the TO-GO experience only! I like the fact that they didn’t forget the necessities that comes with the order such as utensils and napkins. Plus points for me! Just like ordering a bowl of noodle soup, the broth and noodles/toppings are separated. The noodles I got wasn’t sticking and the veggies seem fresh and not too wilted. However, I would suggest for a bigger bowl for the broth. I had to slurp the soup before putting in the noodles because the bowl was a little shallow to put everything in. It’d be a mess if I just drop all the contents in!! Not to mention it was also hard to mix it in since the to-go bowl is small. WILL COME BACK!!! I will probably order Jajangmyeon during summer time and get the beef soup for winter/cold days. So many items on the menu I’d love to explore!

Thai Nghiep Ky Mi Gia – Menu with Prices – 1427 Noriega St, San Francisco

We actually discovered dry noodles the prior weekend and loved it so much we wanted more! We wanted to try something new instead of the standard Vietnamese of pho, bun, and the rice plates. I was on yelp and found that one of my yelp friends come here a lot and we wanted to dine in the sunset as well so it was prefect. We came for brunch on Sunday around 11am. Metered parking – free on Sundays. The place is a bit small with varying booths and tables. Half capacity when we arrived. We were given a booth. They speak Canto and Viet here. I ordered a number 22 – seafood with thin egg noodles with soup on the side. My husband ordered the same except with a mix of rice noodles and thin egg noodles. Complimentary soy milk – hot or cold. It was pretty delicious and you get a decent amount of food – including the toppings. The egg noodles were the clear favorite amongst the two of us. I am glad I got the soup on the side. Although, I did like it was a bit on the sweeter side for my liking. The soy milk was refreshing and pretty smooth. Pretty good deal as it was 21 dollars for both our meals. Two restrooms. Street parking. Rideshare. Public transport (N) credit card $15 dollar min I would come back but it is a bit out of the way for us.

Rita Marie’s Cafe – Menu with Prices – 605 E Holland Ave #116, Spokane

This place is probably a 3.5 but since the rating system only allows while numbers, I had to give it a 3. It’s not a 4 star. Unless we are talking about their beef barley soup then it’s a solid 4. We went and lunch time and my husband got their special which was Fried Chicken homemade mashed potatoes and gravy and vegetables. They said we could either have a half or a whole chicken. My husband asked what that meant and they said it was a half a chicken breast. I wondered how they would do this and was surprised to see a breaded chicken breast literally cut in half instead of cutting it in half first then reading it and cooking it they took the whole piece of chicken and cut it in half after it was cooked. The chicken was dry and tasteless. The mashed potatoes did not seem homemade of to smooth. Finally the vegetables were okay at best there is just some squash on a plate. My daughter and I ordered the sandwich special. it was a half a croissant with chicken salad and either salad or soup on the side. I got a salad was Asian noodle salad it was not very good although the dressing was yummy my daughter got the tomato basil and she said it was more tomato than it was basil I did not taste it so it’s hard for me to speak to that. I did get a cup of beef barley soup because it sounded really good and it was the only saving grace out of the meal. The establishment is clean the staff is very friendly and the prices are average to above-average, depending on what you order. The soup and sandwich combo was $7 and they gave you a very nice sized soup. Salad with what the sandwich was a pretty decent size as well. The special cost $7 I think that that is excessive for a half a chicken breast a small scoop of mashed potatoes and a few pieces of vegetable. The full chicken breast would it cost $10. Bottom line, if it’s a cold wintry day and you’re looking for a good hearty soup I would go grab a bowl of soup from them otherwise I would give this place a pass.

Mendocino Farms – Menu with Prices – 238 S Lake Ave, Pasadena

(+) Mary’s “not so fried” chicken sandwich (+) Peruvian steak sandwich Mendocino Farms is a high quality restaurant that specializes in sandwiches and a few well prepared side dishes. Come to Mendocino Farms if you’re looking for a great, and quick sandwich during your lunch shift, as it is located perfectly in the business sector of Pasadena. The employees have a smile on their face and very welcoming! It is a order first, and they’ll bring the sandwiches over to you. Food: My all time favorite sandwich is the Mary’s ‘not so fried’ chicken sandwich. The mixture of their tangy bbq sauce with the mustard pickle remoulade creates an indulgence of goodness. The Mendo krispys also add a nice texture of crunch to the sandwich that is much needed! I had an opportunity to try the Peruvian steak sandwich here and I was thoroughly impressed. A heaping serving of romaine takes away some of the kick from their spicy aji amarillo seasoned steak. The steak is of high quality and sits nicely in between two pieces of torta. Ambiance: There is a patio seating that overlooks Lake Ave. I enjoy the barstool like seats directly against the sidewalk so I can people watch with my girlfriend. The indoor tables are white and clean, but honestly it can get a little too cold for my liking. Parking: There is parking located directly behind the restaurant and some times of the day can be difficult to find parking. I recommend Mendocino Farms for anyone who loves sandwiches. They do not cheat you with their ingredients and everything is freshly prepared. I know they are here to stay!
