Was craving a quick bite of something crispy and cheesy for breakfast. This little stand in Beach Place did not disappoint. The lady was so sweet and friendly. I ordered the classic grilled cheese. I sat down to relax at the cute little tables in the center of this shopping area. A few minutes later she brought over a freshly pressed hot crunchy grilled cheese sandwich with a pickle on the side. Absolute deliciousness and super cheap. Highly recommend

Crawford’s Pass – Menu with Prices – 259 N Pass Ave, Burbank

I came here upon the recommendation of a friend who is a fan of their other location. This spot opened up a little while ago within the same shopping center as the Vons so there’s a lot of parking. Order food at the bar and they’ll bring your food to you. Food is cheap, and they have great deals on beer (super affordable). They have good fried chicken! I really enjoyed it – nice and crunchy on the outside but still moist and tender on the inside. I didn’t get the spicy “Uncle Mitch” option which is popular, but I got a plate which came with a choice of side, a pickle, and a slice of white bread. I chose the Mac n cheese which I personally wouldn’t recommend, it had strange seasoning and wasn’t as cheesy or moist as I would have liked. The establishment itself is very dark and feels unwelcoming. Very difficult to read the menu even and I don’t have particular bad eyesight. Typical dive bar vibes but more on the questionable side than the kitschy side. The interior felt outdated. However, there was a pool table and a TV to view the game which was nice. The staff was kind but not attentive, and the other guests at the bar were much older and already drunk around 5pm on a weeknight. Overall, good chicken and a cheap deal, but not a fun place to hang out.

K Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 401 E 8th St, Sioux Falls

This restaurant has the absolute freshest ingredients. We had the Cuban sandwich and the shrimp bowl. Absolutely fantastic. People are extremely friendly and service was excellent. We brought the dog along and they brought a bowl out of water and treats for him as well. It’s on 8th and railroad center in Sioux Falls and it is a must stop. Don’t miss it it’s at the end of 8th & Railroad Center again it’s at the end of 8th & Railroad Center don’t miss it. You will not be sorry that you stopped.

Stuffed Inn Menu with Prices 1829 Euclid Ave, Berkeley

My friend and I decided to get sandwiches at the Stuffed Inn on a bit of a whim. The menu looked really appetizing, regarding both the sandwiches and all of the other things you could buy on the side. Everything also seemed very reasonably priced and relatively cheap, considering how expensive some food options are in the Bay Area. I ordered a Big Hot Double Pastrami and Cheese sandwich for about $6.75, and split a half pickle ($0.50) and potato salad ($1.25) with my friend. There is a lot of variety in what you can add onto your sandwich, with regular or spicy mustard, mayo, bean sprouts, jalapenos, onions, tomatoes, and banana peppers. The line was a bit busy during rush hour, and it did take a while to make my sandwich, but that’s to be expected. The staff is very nice and considerate, and the atmosphere of the shop makes it really seem like a comfy home. The sandwich and pickle were delicious, but the potato salad might have been the best potato salad I’ve had at a restaurant. We also ordered a split pea soup, but that wasn’t as good, it was just pretty ok. Overall, I’m definitely coming here again soon.

Maccabee’s Kosher Deli – Menu with Prices – 1150 Polk Blvd, Des Moines

If you enjoy a well made sandwich and want to support a local business, head to Maccabee’s. The other reviewers are spot on, the owners care about the food and the customer’s experience. I had the Roosevelt on rye and added a black and white cookie to round out my Jewish deli experience. Everything was made to order. The pastrami was lightly smoked and well seasoned around the edges. I believe that the bread on a sandwich should be more than a flavorless napkin/utensil, so I was pleased by the hearty depth of the rye bread. The pickle on the side was no slouch either, slightly sweet with a ton of dill. The pickle was crunchy, not soggy at all – I don’t think I will be able to choke down a Vlasic after this. Did I mess up by not grabbing some latkas or a knish? Probably! Hopefully I can return with a group to sample the side dishes.

Press 626 Wine Bar – Menu with Prices – 626 W Olney Rd, Norfolk

Love this spot for their “Award winning grilled cheese” sandwiches! There are four different melted cheese on their grilled cheese that make it one of the ooest gooest cheese sandwiches in the 757 and if you get the salad that comes with it it is so fresh with a dressing I believe they make in house… but wait… there’s another grilled cheese restaurant that’s only 1 short mile from Press competing for the best grilled cheese sandwich -the Grilled Cheese Bistro which features “The Gooey” with three different melted cheese and their Parmesan fries-heavenly.. so let’s compare notes: they both come on buttered grilled bread except it is sourdough at Press and a version of a thick Texas toast at Grilled cheese bistro- this is a tie because they both compliment the sandwich respectively, next the cheeses- although one location has four cheeses and the other has three both offering additions to the sandwich (i.e bacon, tomatoes) the cheeses stand firm on their own so there’s no need to for additions unless you prefer. The cheese on both is melted together so good it’s spilling off the bread that I can’t choose which is best-tie there. The price at Press is $10 which is the exact same price at the grilled cheese bistro (I think they’re trying to set us up people)….LOL So it boils down to this- Press is not a grilled cheese bistro But their grilled cheese tastes mighty award winning to me! Their Atmosphere takes the cake and I don’t know if I mentioned it but their wine list-oh boy, it is Great! The restaurant is set up in a quaint corner house with intimate romantic seating in their bay windows, the lighting is soft and dim making it perfect for a date night, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. You feel like you can get comfy and stay all night sipping the various wine options and rubbing your full belly (until 11pm most nights:) Highly recommend!

Havana Flavor – Menu with Prices – 4432 US-220, Greensboro

This little Cuban food trailer sets up in the Exxon gas station parking lot. I stopped to get fuel and went over to the trailer to see what it was all about. They mainly do different sandwiches and they are cash only. They have their menu board beside the trailer, it has right many numbered options, each number has the name of the dish or sandwich beside it, but doesn’t give you any type of description of what it is. I ordered the #2 Cuban Sandwich, the sandwich was great, roasted pork, ham, swiss cheese, dill pickle and mustard on a nice roll pressed in the panini press to a toasty brown. The roasted pork was the star of the show, it had great flavor, my Cuban sandwich was excellent.

Grilled Cheese Gallery – Menu with Prices – 16 Cathedral Pl, St. Augustine

It’s a mom & pop shop, so I’m rounding up to 4/5, even though it felt more like 3.5/5, which is why Yelp needs this option IMO! The side of FRENCH FRIES (2/5) were meant to be used for poutine and needed to be freshly dropped – instead they were soft. The gravy used for the SCARLETT POUTINE (3/5) was overly salty…someone was def. heavy handed – topped with a good amount of grilled chicken (needed to be warmer). The SOUTHEREN BELLE (4/5) sandwich included soft strips of chicken & a lot of cheesiness with a golden & crispy exterior from the butter – highly recommend dipping it in the small container of tomato bisque, which I wish we got more because it was so yummy. I loved it that they brought the food over within 10-15 min. of ordering from Ancient City Brewing while my family & I tried to cool down with a couple beers each after walking around downtown St. Augustine in the intense heat!

Doly’s Delectables – Menu with Prices – 245 E Broadway, Long Beach

I wanted some kind of breakfast sandwich type of food, plus something sweet. This place came up in my search, so I decided to try them out.During my research, it showed that they had macarons, which I was excited about. But when I got there, they didnâ??t have any macaronsâ?¦so, I ordered their Cream Puff instead. Cream puff looked like an ordinary one, but it had a crazy amount of cream filling! It was really decadent and tasty, but not amazing though.I ordered Cajun Chicken Sandwich for my breakfast. I asked if the sandwich can be made on croissant, and they said yes. A staff brought it out to me in a paper bag once it was made. She realized I was eating in, so she brought it back on a plate for me. It was quite large in size, which was great.I somehow thought it will be on hot/warm toasted croissant but it was cold. Later I discovered that they can make their sandwiches in hot-pressed panini style upon requestâ?¦ Oh well. It had a generous amount of chicken, not really spicy but had a small kick to it. Veggies were very fresh with nice crunchy texture. Even though it was cold, it still was nice and buttery, very flaky and fluffy.I was full after having half of the sandwich, so I brought the rest with me and had it for lunch. I enjoyed the sandwich, very tasty, well crafted, good quality and very filling. The price here was super affordable and the portion was great. The staffs were friendly and polite.

West Caribbean Cuban Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 2215 S Combee Rd, Lakeland

Worst Cuban sandwich I have ever eaten, tiny portion of meat on the sandwich and they don’t use roasted pork like any real Cuban I’ve had and I’ve had TONS….they use a nasty tasting sliced pork. The bread taste like regular white bread and nothing like true Cuban bread, asked for my sandwich pressed and it was not pressed at all. Beef empanada was dry and tasteless. Breakfast menu was tiny and service was slow and horrible. I was embarrassed that I brought a group of 7 from my job there that’s for sure. Also k ow their FB is fake as they deleted my negative comment on their fake sandwich picture post and never even reached out to me about the issues.

The Stackz Co – Menu with Prices – 9223 Archibald Ave H, Rancho Cucamonga

Came here for lunch with high hopes, but left totally disappointed. The restaurant itself is like a bar that serves sandwiches and salads. I ordered the Adult Grilled Cheese Sandwich and the Original Grilled Cheesesteak Sandwich To-Go. I was amused at how long it took them to make it. It literally took them 35mins to make the sandwiches! I had to tell the cashier that I was in a rush in order to have my sandwich to come out quicker. However on top of all that when I came back to the office to eat, the Grilled Cheese was a soggy mess. The bread itself was not crispy but oozing with grease. Both my co-workers and I could not finish it. The Grilled Cheesesteak was better. It wasn’t great but much better than the Grilled Cheese. I liked how it was stacked (given the name) with meat and toppings. As for management, the kitchen needs to work on their speed and efficiency. The food needs to be double and triple checked before being served. If I’m going to be spending close to $10 for a sandwich and have to wait 35mins for it, the food should be REALLY GOOD. If you have an hour for lunch before you have to get back to work, I would not recommend this place.

Southeast Street Food – Fusion Eatery – Menu with Prices – 101 5th St E Suite 296, St Paul

A nice and new option in the skyway of Downtown St. Paul! I was super excited to see this place opening in the skyway. Plenty of options to choose from. My favorite being the bahn mi sandwiches. I’ve had all of the bahn mi’s and my two favorites are the BBQ pork and grilled beef. The only thing I would change on the bahn mi is pickle the vegetables more as that flavor does not come out. The spring rolls and rice bowls are also delicious. One hidden gem in this place is the baguette with condensed milk. Perfect amount of crispness and sweetness to satisfy you. Beyond the food, the staff here is super friendly. Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for something new to try.

Middle Ages Licensed Location @ Hancock International Airport – Menu with Prices – Hancock International Airport, Syracuse

This is the only sit-down restaurant option in the left wing terminal where American Airlines and Frontier is. The waitress cleaning the table saw me enter and stand there waiting to be seated but she didn’t bother to address me until I approached her after waiting for her to wipe 4 more tables. I guess it is a self-seating type of establishment. There is a bar area and also sit-down seating. They have breakfast options that only last until 10:30 AM. I ordered a caprese sandwich and paid an extra $3 for grilled chicken. This brought the sandwich up to $17. The bread on it was ciabatta and it wasn’t very toasty aside from a small section of the corner. The sandwich seemed to be microwaved because the tomato slice inside was soggy and the mozzarella cheese inside was melted. There was no basil so it didn’t taste the way I expect caprese to taste. When you think of caprese, you think of fresh mozzarella and tomato rather than melted cheese and cooked tomato. I was underwhelmed by the sandwich and its lack of vegetables. There was a sun dried tomato paste inside that was alright. It came with a pickle slice and a side of salty chips. It would have been nice to have an option to substitute the potato chips with a salad instead. One waitress took my credit card and brought me back my check and a 2nd waiter took the card again and was about to charge it a second time before I intervened. I think their breakfast items might be a better option. I noticed that a lot of folks here ordered salads. It may be a good spot to grab a beer but it wasn’t a great option for a caprese sandwich.
