Today was our first time trying this creperie which is located close to our home. Despite my 3 rating, I have a lot of good things to say. The 2 ladies (probably owners) in addition to their worker, were extremely friendly, willing to make adjustments to our daughter’s order and were very hard working – tables were cleaned as soon as they were emptied and our order was served quickly. The food was delicious and presented very nicely. My husband and I are vegan and didn’t expect there to be anything for us, we just went to spend time with our daughter. Learning that we were vegan, they encouraged us to try a salad; so I tried the only one that was vegan as is (but with out dressing) – Salad Bonnemine. It was a delicious salad but very over priced. $11 for what I would call a side salad. I probably wont return, but wish them lots of luck.

13 Tacos and Taps – Menu with Prices – 10511 Shadowlawn Dr, Raleigh

My favorite thing about this restaurant is the service. I’m vegan so I always check the menu of restaurants before I go. I may have misread the menu because when I read the menu, I couldn’t find anything. My husband was with me and was excited so I was just going to order a basic veggie side salad and let him enjoy his meal. I’m not one to make a scene nor do I expect a restaurant to cater to my diet restrictions. But, my husband asked the waitress if they had anything vegan on the menu and she said but let me ask the chef! The chef personally came to our table and created a vegan dish for me that was absolutely amazing! He went through all the ingredients with me and made sure it was something I would enjoy. He made me the most delicious Brussels sprout tacos. I loved every bite of them! He was so sweet and accommodating. You could definitely tell that he cares about the clients that come into his business. What amazing service! I left super impressed and grateful that he went out of his way to make sure I had a delicious meal To enjoy with my husband. His wife, who I believe is the pastry chef, also came and talked to us.

Al’s Gyros Chicago’s Finest – Menu with Prices – 5932 W Bell Rd, Glendale

I love this place. Really do. Had many dishes on their menu. I cant get enough of the Mediterranean salad with chicken. Its large and plentiful with chicken. So good. My problem is with pick up orders. When I get the salad, I ask for the Greek dressing to be on the side (so it doesnt saturate the lettuce if I were to keep for leftovers, which I do) I was told it always does. That order came with dressing on the side, so when I ordered again I didnt ask, bc… dressing always came on the side for to go orders.. that didn’t happen. I was very disappointed. But since this place is so good and despite me moving and it’s a ways further, I still come here! So I order again and specifically say please put the dressing on side. Ok no problem. I get to pay and notice I dont see the dressing. I’m given one and I go home. Start to eat and noticed the dressing is all on the bottom of the container. So sad! I wont stop coming here, but please stop it LOL! Get it together

Olea Mediterranean Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 1992 Skibo Rd, Fayetteville

If you are vegetarian LISTEN UP! Or if you want to make any modifications. . My husband and I just moved to the area and really wanted good Mediterranean food. As usual I did a Yelp search and looked at the pictures. I also read some of the reviews. One said that she was a vegetarian and the rice is chicken based. So, all of the menu items that state â??veganâ? are NOT vegan. When I went in and picked up the order, I asked the staff why they say its vegan or vegetarian and they said they only use a little of the spice. It does not matter it is a NOT veggie dish at that point.. Also, we asked for the tomato basil platter and after explaining to the girl on the phone that my husband was a vegetarian I also asked for NO pepper (I guess I assumed they would put no meat-based items around the dish). Well guess what? The tomato basil platter was on a bed of rice. Chicken based rice that my husband wont touch. So that was $9.95 down the drain.. So, the fact that they say items on the menu are vegan/vegetarian when in fact they are NOT, the order being wrong we will not be back. What a shame because my dish was actually good, minus the fatouch salad that is not described properly. The â??fatouchâ? has onions, which is NOT on the menu, otherwise I would have asked for no onions.

Sugar Cubed – Menu with Prices – 531 13th St W, Bradenton

Not really impressed. Wanted a treat at work so was surprised they had a delivery option. Chose it and placed order. Ordering was very confusing. They need to improve if going to continue. I wanted an assortment of cookies and they had a box option and discounted if bought by dozen. It would not however let me choose the cookies so i opted for an assortment. I only got 3 different flavors even though the menu showed more. It also doesnt state that certain cookies are not discounted. Example the macarons. Had i known they dont consider these a cookie and therefore dont qualify for the cookie box that discounts the price. And website stated that discounts were available if a dozen ordered. I found this out through an email stating they were charging my card an extra amount. Had website been more specific i would have changed my order. Also tjought cookies were very greasy and extremely heavy tasting and a bit dry. The grease soaked through the box. Didnt really expect that. Overall not much flavor and didnt expect the white chocolate macadamia nut ones to have coconut. It should be part of description. Overall experience was disappointing and wont be back. If you continue to offer online order please take a closer look at it it needs a lot of improvements

The Chicken Barn – Menu with Prices – 2601 Oakdale Rd # S, Modesto

The food is good but the service is actually horrible. I ordered on the phone and came in because I was in a hurry. Not one customer was there and they made me wait 15 minutes longer once I got there for a 10 peice chicken meal. It’s like they didnt want me to place a pickup order, they didnt like that. And the lady was rude. I really wont go anymore because the whole staff is actually VERY RUDE. 100% the rudest establishment I’ve been to. Horrible customer service.

El Michoacano Ice Cream and Mexican Food – Menu with Prices – 2922 Merle Hay Rd, Des Moines

This place is such a blessing for the Beaverdale/Windsor Heights area. Their food is not only authentic Mexican fare (they even have cactus and yucca on the menu), they have a full, separate menu with all of their vegan friendly options. I’m usually skeptical about the vegan status in most Mexican restaurants I’ve gone to since becoming vegan because traditional Mexican food often uses lard and chicken stock, but the owner’s daughter is a vegan herself and helped develop the menu! From their website: “My 13-year-old daughter is the reason for our vegan food initiative. She became vegan, but still wanted to enjoy our cultural food, therefore I decided to substitute 100% vegan ingredients as the alternative for meat/dairy. The food was later experienced with a couple customers, which turned out to satisfy them. Ever since then, we have had food options for Vegans. That is why at Ice Cream El Michoacano we pride ourselves in having an inclusive menu so everyone can enjoy!” – Gerardo Perez Everything I’ve tried here is flavorful, freshly made, and the portions are generous, especially if you get a burrito. Speaking of burritos, you need to try their own style called the Michacano burrito. It has vegan mayo, ground vegan “beef”, rice, radishes, lettuce, and vegan cheese with house made hot sauces! I also recommend the adobada burrito with soy chorizo, the enchiladas, and empanadas. They also have house made popcicles with vegan options, just ask the cashier what flavors are vegan that day. I love that they fry up a jalapeño with each order, just make sure to eat it with your food so the spice level doesn’t overwhelm your palette! Just a heads up, this is not a place you go for ambience, it’s a local casual food spot with minimal seating, but it’s clean and the people who work there are friendly. It can be challenging to order pickup because of language barriers, depending on who’s working, so learning a few Spanish phrases for ordering is highly recommended. No judgement, I’m impressed by anyone who can speak more than one language at all, and they are always friendly and patient if they don’t understand something.

Whiskey Brown’s Farmhouse Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 2025 Golf Course Rd S, Salem

While our server wasn’t quite as attentive as expected but she was pleasant. The scenery is beautiful as we sat outside watching the evening golfers. My mother and I came for my birthday as my son works here (recent culinary school graduate). We each had a pre-dinner drink, a drink with dinner and dinner was perfect. She had tenderloin and I got the ribeye. Ribeye was fatty but then again…ribeyes are fatty. Our only complaint would be that for $28 you would expect the side salad to come with it and not have to pay an extra $7.00. The plates are all nicely presented and the food is made from scratch so you will have to wait. This is not fast food so sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery. After dinner we sat on the outdoor couches and enjoyed an after dinner drink and a dessert. Waitress was advised I get a birthday dessert but we were charged for it- oh well. Overall a great meal, slightly pricey for steaks without a side salad but very fresh ingredients and real cooking (not open and warm garbage).

Kanpai Japanese Restaurant and Sushi – Menu with Prices – 5935 Dublin Blvd Suite 100, Colorado Springs

They have a great menu selection. The space is nice and they offer a good amount of seating. We went on a weekday afternoon for dinner and there was no wait for seating. I was able to order a kids menu teriyaki chicken for my daughter before my husband and I were ready to order and her food came out fast. We ordered 3 different sushi rolls. They seemed very fresh and there was a good fish to rice ratio. My husband ordered a beef yakiniku which came with rice, salad and vegetable tempura. I would say for my husband and I’s meal it was worth the price. My daughter’s meal, however, only came with meat and rice. I had to order a drink and a vegetable side for her for additional cost. I don’t think this is worth the price because I can go to other sushi restaurants and get a kids meal that includes a drink, a side of veggie, California roll, and even ice cream. Sushi restaurants are already pricey as it is, so I don’t think this was a fair deal as far as kids menu.

Acadia Foods – Menu with Prices – 228 W Acadia Ave, Winston-Salem

My husband and I have been here at least once every weekend for the last month. They have some of the best sandwiches in town and you can tell they put thought into each one. The atmosphere is also very laid back and they have a patio you can eat out on as well. I’m vegan and their vegan tempeh, lettuce, and tomato sandwich and cauliflower melt sandwich are killer. My husband isn’t vegan and his favorites are the fried ribeye sandwich and fancy bologna sandwich. We’ve also gone for their brunch on Sundays which is also awesome. He loves the slappys chicken biscuit and chorizo sandwich (which is the size of his head). I’ve only had a bagel with tempeh and vegan cheese (which is made with lavender and honey’s local bagels) and it was pretty good but they have some other vegan options I’m wanting to try. They have mimosas and such for brunch but also coffee and specialty coffee drinks any other time of the week which are really good. We usually don’t spend more than $25 on an entire meal with sides which is one of the best parts. We highly recommend this place!! Winston needs a place with great food and great prices.

Custom Cup Coffee – Menu with Prices – 319 E Monroe St, Springfield

Great food! The Vegan options for pastries are nice, a bit pricey for the size of a donut($3.00) and a teacake but tasty ($4.50). Lunch doesn’t start until 11 so if you have a grilled cheese in mind for breakfast forget about it! But you can get a fried egg sandwich with cheese and bacon but not just a grilled cheese. The Vegan taco pot pie is flavorful and hearty, I even loved the vegan sour cream; they should go easier on the onions in the pico. My 1st visit I had a small cup of decaf… I tried it again today, it was decent; I think I’ll stick to my $1.29 cups of coffee at McDonald’s. Over all its a cool little spot expect to spend at least $15 each visit and remember to support small businesses! #shopsmall #vegan #coffee

ETC Gourmet Kitchen – Menu with Prices – 3600 Ocean View Blvd, Glendale

The place is super cute and the food was not too bad but the wait staff that helped us was so unpleasant. She was so sterile and it was like she clearly did not want to be there. I get it, work sucks some days but it was our first time there and we felt so unwelcome if that makes sense. We ordered the caprese sandwich and a kale salad. We asked for berries and a side of grilled chicken for our son. We waited quite some time for our food. We had to ask for our son’s berries at least since it was the quickest thing that could come out. We were brought some fruit but no berries – a heads up would have been nice since my son doesn’t like cantaloupe or watermelon. The sandwich came out shortly after with tons of garlicky pesto and was delicious to say the least but only if you are a fan of garlic. I enjoyed it but it was a bit much for the hubster. It also came with a pesto pasta salad on the side. We were not informed of the side that would accompany the sandwich as this was our first time and I would have opted for something else since my sandwich already came with tons of pesto. The salad was not bad. The dressing was very tart for my taste buds but my husband enjoyed it. The chicken in both the salad and the side order were moist and delicious. The salad came with strawberries. Those berries could have been brought out with the actual berries we ordered but at least someone in our group got some berries – lol. All in all it was an okay experience. Not sure if we will return but if we do, look out for another review.
