No one’s reviewed this place yet? There are seven places in the Domain where I can enjoy a straight black coffee, and Craftwork Coffee Co is probably my favorite. I think they’re from Fort Worth, they do their own beans, and their #2 blend is some pretty great stuff. It occurs to me this Flatiron apt/office/workspace building on Braker & Domain Drive does look like a giant flat iron, but I’m more fascinated that I’ve always found parking along that front strip or at that mini mall across the street. You’ll see. And I’m partial to the zeitgeist of contemporary design – I call it “Zen Minimalist less-is-more,” but you may call it “efficient.” You’ll see that too. The bloggers on IG have the coolest pics of the colorful lattes & barista art you can get here, I have a pic of my cup & the house Columbia/Ethiopia blend. It’s black and tastes great. They may still be tweaking their hours & final menu, I still play Kraftwerk albums on occasion (stretch?), and so far everyone I’ve met who works here enjoys it & enjoys seeing you. And that pretty much defines as good as it gets.

The Coffee Movement – Menu with Prices – 1030 Washington St, San Francisco

Walked by this place a few times and finally decided to give it a chance. The shop has a nice minimalist design; no indoor seating but there’s a few benches right outside the door. I got the coffee cream soda and the barrel one coffee. My favorite was the coffee cream soda; it was a unique blend of coffee and soda, something that I’ve never experienced before at any other coffee shops. I don’t usually drink coffee, but I liked this drink a lot and would definitely get it again in the future. The barrel one was also good and not very strong or overpowering. Overall, I had a good experience and everyone was nice and patient in answering our questions. Would definitely come back here again.

PT’s Coffee Power & Light – Menu with Prices – 1310 Baltimore Ave, Kansas City

This was the only real coffee shop I tried during my stay in KC so I can’t compare it against KC’s coffee scene but, I think it is one of the better shops I’ve been to overall. The coffee selection was good and well thought out. Out of their many bean and blend offerings, I am confident that there will be something there to suit any taste. They also offered an interesting seasonal blend. I opted for a natural process Ethiopian pour over. It was well made by the barista. The roast hit all the right notes. Was a delicious cup of coffee There were a few non-coffee options also. A person in my party opted for a smoothie and said it was delicious and well blended. (The ice particles were perfectly incorporated). There was a small , but nice and varied , selection of pastries. The same smoothie guy also tried the grilled cheese. He enjoyed the Apple slices that was in the sammie. He said it paired well with the cheese. So in summary – Want a coffee? I would recommend this place. Very good coffee!

The Human Bean – Menu with Prices – 29 S Power Rd, Mesa

These people make some great “stuff.” (Not coffee). If you like your coffee like your like your lasagna – without any actual coffee in it, then you’re in luck. Their lattes and stuff seem great. However I have simple tastes. I just want good, strong, black coffee. I tried to do this here two separate times. It tasted like gas station coffee you buy at 11am that had been boiling on a hot plate all morning long. If you go to coffee shops for coffee, even Starbucks is better. But nobody does that so you’re probably fine. Employees have to be almost uncomfortably friendly at all these places or else they get written up. This place is no exception. It’s all smiles. That’s my .02.

Artisan Coffee Menu with Prices 662 Canton Rd, Akron

I went in 15 minutes before close and felt kind of bad, but knowing I was going in for just a black coffee made myself confident enough to go in. The barista greeted me very friendly and wasn’t at all disgruntled by me being there. He even offered me to stay and have my drink there. I told him I knew they closed soon but he insisted it wasn’t a problem. Nevertheless I took it to go. Got a black dark roast coffee and it was very hot and very fresh. Great taste to it and satisfied my coffee craving for the day. A few more grounds in the coffee than I would have liked; but given the quality and time I got it. Not an issue. They also have a large selection of amazing pastries and snacks that you’re sure to love.

Moons Coffee & Tea Menu with Prices 1605 Juan Tabo Blvd NE # F, Albuquerque

Let me just say, that I was REALLY impressed!!! I’m headed out of town, and always take ‘something NM’ to my hosts, and this time, decided I would take Pinon Coffee. Looked on Yelp to see ‘who’ made the best in ABQ, and the word was MOONS COFFEE & TEA. So, I made the trek into town (I live in Mountainair), and stopped at Moons. WOW!!! I admit, I’m not much of a coffee connoisseur, but this place just makes you want to buy local, and try every blend!!! GREAT folks (met the owner and her daughter). Stream of folks coming in are regulars (you will be too!). Bought some Pinon Nut Coffee to take to friends in CO, and bought some MANY MOONS COFFEE for myself, based on a regular customer’s recommendation. WOW!!! I think my regular morning blend has been replaced!!! It’s AWESOME!!! Thank you for a GREAT experience; I’ll be back. Recommendation: Learned I should call ahead and place my order for bagged coffee; roasted fresh, so best to call ahead.

Capital One Café – Menu with Prices – 801 E Las Olas Blvd, Fort Lauderdale

I thought this was a weird concept at first, like having a coffee in a financial corporation doesn’t strike me as relaxing. But, it was on our way so hubby and I decided to check it out. We were immediately greeted with a coffee bar and a super friendly staff. Shout out to Jose, who is a banker there, and really a pleasure. He gave us a little tour and told us what the place is all about. He showed us the meeting rooms which are available to the public and even offered to treat us to a coffee. He wasn’t trying to sell us anything- he was just a really cool guy who obviously enjoys his work and brings a lot of positive vibes to the company. We chatted with him for a bit and he invited us to take our time and lounge. Everything is brand new, open and just like a coffee shop but with some CO bankers available in the back. It’s a minimalist vibe with charging stations and ample seating. If I had to meet someone for a business purpose, I would definitely choose this over Starbucks. If you have a CO card, you get half off drink orders as well. Oh and the coffee is good too; they’ve partnered with Peet’s. My husband is a coffee fanatic and complimented their espresso. So if you want to come in and work on your laptop and have a coffee, there’s no pressure or expectation to open a Capital One account. And it’s definitely a plus for those who want to also take care of their banking needs.

EVP Coffee University Bay – Menu with Prices – 700 University Bay Dr, Madison

Solid lattes. I’ve tried lattes at many places, and much to my chagrin weak lattes appear at an alarming rate. Not here – when they give you coffee, there’s definitely coffee, both in taste as well as the caffeine you feel afterwards. True, the prices are not the cheapest available, but for what you pay, you’re definitely not going to be skimped on. They also have a good selection of teas, and they have hot chocolate and non-caffeinated beverages and other sundry snacks as well. Finally, I like the cute size of the place, where there’s decent space to study or relax. They open early enough, but it’d be nice if they could remain open an hour or two later, so that people coming back from work might be able to grab something.

Espresso Fino Menu with Prices 222 Gold Ave SW, Albuquerque

I first visited Espresso Fino two years ago, and had one of the most mind-blowingly delicious lattes of my middle-aged life. Ever since, Iâ??ve been trying to get back in. My timing never seems to align with the shopâ??s hours, and Iâ??m already on probation for an attempted breaking-and-entering to get one of Gregâ??s handcrafted drinks. I stopped by this afternoon, expectation building in my throat, despite my best efforts to damp down my enthusiasm â?¦ I closed my eyes and reached to the caféâ??s handle with my sweaty palm, twisting the handle slowlyâ?¦ success! Praise be to the red-eyed god of espresso! Endorphins flooded my caffeine-starved adrenal system. Verily, today fate has smiled upon me. . . As expected, Espresso Finoâ??s lattes remain easily the best in Albuquerque, and indeed among the best Iâ??ve ever tried (and Iâ??ve traveled through several countries in search of the perfect latte). . . Greg is a fixture of the downtown Albuquerque scene, a true gem of a barista and a downright good human being. He seems to know all his customers by name, and has such a nice and laid-back personality. Subpar geographer, but a perfect barista. . . I just observed something today: while a certain well-known chain coffee shop (letâ??s just call it the Evil Green Mermaid) pumps out ridiculously loud music seemingly intended to shoo away post-purchase customers, Greg keeps the music chill and relaxing (as I type this, Satchmo is dribbling into my ears). Itâ??s a little thing, but makes this place just that much more special.

Bottoms Up Espresso – Menu with Prices – 80 W Warner Rd, Chandler

I drive by this place all the time and decided to try it out today. I went through the drive thru this morning around 6:45am with no one in front of me or behind me. After looking at the menu for a minute and not getting a response at the order board I pulled up to the window. A barista made my drink (a Little Irish Girl- this is the name of the drink, not a description of the barista) and I went to work. Honestly, had I not known this drink contains espresso, I would not have guessed it at all. The drink was very pale looking and tasted sweet and nothing like coffee. I had to add black coffee to it just to balance the taste out. I don’t know if it’s just bad location, competition around (2 Dunkin Donuts, 2 QTs, 2 Circle Ks, Starbucks, SoZo, Ziggi’s, Bikini Beans, Dutch Bros- all within a 5 mile radius) or price, but I get the feeling this business isn’t going to last. For the price/quality, there are other coffee houses nearby that are better. I really wanted to like this coffee shop because of how conveniently located it is, but I probably won’t be returning here again.

The Roastere at Treasure Valley Coffee Menu with Prices 11875 W President Dr, Boise

What a magical place! Wall to wall coffee, conversations, smells, sounds, energy! And I am not kidding when I say wall-to-wall coffee. A coffee drinkers dream! I have been here a few times but no time is more magical than a Saturday! I had to wait in line for a bit but it went fast. Breakfast sandwiches, bagels, lattés… all being ordered. The amount of coffee selections can be overwhelming so I always ask at the front, this is what I am looking for, which do you suggest? The most recent one I am going to stick with for a few is the Hawaiian blend, oh my monkey, it is amazing!! A little cream, a pump of organic honey and my Saturday was already compete, and so early too! (Self service cream and sugar bar). If you like to try coffee, this place is awesome to sit down with a friend and try as many coffees as you want before you buy. In a hurry? Have a dollar and some change ready to leave in the “In a hurry” container located on top of the what seems like 30 coffee blends lining the que (line). Are you tired of paying way too much money for coffee at a non-local place? Come here! The biggest coffee is $1.50! Want to take some home? Looks like 14oz bags of coffee are $9+ (I think $9.99). This is a great place to have meetings, do your homework, hangout. There are large relaxing and meeting areas not only in the bustling area but also a whole separate room. Plenty of parking, stamp club (buy five get one), they have coffee happy hours, and after 4:30 pm, coffee is free because they close at 5 ( I know this about weekdays not sure about weekends. Call to double check happy hour prices.) Great Idaho gifts to be found here. Want a smile for free, come here you will leave happy!

Asmara Caffee – Menu with Prices – 809 Dundas St, London

Best black coffee I’ve had, the flavour is well rounded and balanced. In visiting several nearby businesses and chatting with them about coffee, they all said Asmara Coffee serves the best cup around this end of town. In a small multi business building with parking off the street front, then interior is modest and humble. A pleasant owner operator who genuinely enjoys his craft and has a steady flow a local clientele. Also sells their roast to take home and brew on your own. They also offer the beans green for self rosting. True Eritrean/Ethiopian coffee. We also tried the fava bean dish and an breakfast sandwich on everything bagel. That you for cooking real eggs on a skillet to out in the sandwich.

Dreamboyz Espresso – Menu with Prices – 324 Broadway E, Seattle

Of course Dreamboyz is great! It has topless and somewhat bikini clad guys serving you the coffee! This little shop is more of a stand and we weren’t too sure where to order since some restaurants really frown upon ordering on foot where customers in their cars make their order but that wasn’t an issue and we placed our order at the drive up window. We didn’t see a posted menu and was told one hasn’t yet made it up but the barista had no problem cranking out two Vanilla Lattes for us. I’m really excited that a topless male coffee shop opened and it really is appropriately placed in Capital Hill… that’s for sure. Several years ago there was one coffee shop in Port Orchard at one point and another topless guy coffee stand in Spokane but alas those two are defunct and we never made it to them. Glad we finally got that experience with Dreamboyz!
