Like everyone else in Bend, we went here when it first opened. Service was fast and friendly, food was great and unique. We were on this end of town last week & decided to try it again. We were seated at 11:44 am and since we were in a hurry, we ordered the “daily lunch special”. The place was not even half full. It took the waiter a long time to acknowledge us, take our order and bring us ice water (which tasted like bleach). We waited, and waited AND waited AND waited some more. We figured that a slice or two off a turkey roast, some mashed potatoes, gravy and dressing (the special) should be hot, ready and fast. Around 12:16 pm I went back out to the check in station and asked the lady what time we were seated. She said at 11:44 am. I asked if there was some problem, as the place was not busy and we had only ordered the special. She said she would check on it. Shortly after that our MIA waiter came by and my husband asked if there was a problem. He said “oh they are really busy but working on it”. Within 2 minutes a “Manager/Supervisor” type person came out with our food. He had a very sour look on his face and was trying to intimidate us. He asked if there was anything else. We said “Where is our bread?” He said “Well did you order it?” We said “The special comes with biscuits/corn muffins”. He said “Oh, I’ll check”. He should have know this if he is a floor Manager/Supervisor. He brought them out within a minute or so, but still held a scowl on his face. You could tell he was not happy that we had make an inquirey with the check in station. The food was AWFUL! Our plates were not even warm, food just barely warm. It appeared to be “leftovers, re-heated” not freshly made. As mentioned bleach water, no bread. There was a “crust” on the pinto beans like they had been sitting awhile. I had asked for the gravy to be on the side only. Well, they did bring a dish of gravy on the side, but they also smothered everything on the plate with it. When the waiter came by & asked if it was OK, I asked him if it looked like gravy “on the side only”- he said “I did tell them that. I can get you something else?” We’re thinking, NO WAY- we would be there for another hour and who knows the quality of the food we would get next. We didn’t eat much and went to check out. Here is why they get 2 stars. First, the lady who checked us in was very sweet and kind – smiling and friendly. Second, when checking out the cashier (maybe another Manager) asked how the food was. We said it was terrible. Told her food was cold and slow, order not as asked for and she took half off the receipt without hesitating- which surprised us and we did not expect it. We think she KNEW something was going on somewhere – either wait staff or the kitchen. She also was very friendly and caring. We will be back – who knows? We hear mixed reviews. I guess it depends on what you like to eat. For one thing, even ordering “small plates” all the portions are huge. Lots of carbs. Guess if you are real hungry and have lots of time go here!

Irish Nobleman Pub – Menu with Prices – 1367 W Erie St, Chicago

The worst experience my husband and I have ever had at a restaurant/bar. The place was practically empty and we ordered a pretzel with cheese as an appetizer and then a burger and fries and chicken tenders. I asked if I could get a side salad also and the waiter said yes. 30 minutes go by and we have no food. My husband asked if our pretzel was coming and the waiter said yes but it’s all on the same ticket. Another 10 minutes go by and we finally get our food- everything at once but no side salad. The waiter said sorry we can’t do a side salad would you like a full salad? I am 9 months pregnant and was starving at this point. I told him it was completely unacceptable that I’m being asked this question now and not when I placed my order so no I don’t want a full salad. And also it’s unacceptable that it took 40 minutes for us to get a pretzel. We wouldn’t have ordered it had we known it was coming out with our other food. He walked away and said nothing. 10 minutes later the manager Kelly came out and asked how things were. I thought he was coming to apologize like managers usually do when you have bad service. I said things could be better and explained again that it’s unacceptable for us to find out 40 min after placing an order that I can’t get an item. (Side salads by the way are available if you want them for their burgers) He said he understood but it’s also unacceptable for me to curse at his waiter. My husband came to my defense to say I did no such thing. Because I never once swore at this waiter! Kelly said I believe my waiter and I’d like you to leave. We hadn’t finished our meal and I asked if he was kicking out a 9 month pregnant lady. He responded yes that we were not welcome and we should understand when a kitchen is backed up. I’ve never in my life experienced service like this and my husband and I are still so taken back by the experience. The manager was so confrontational and lacked any understanding for how we as customers were upset. He also told us that we should post this to social media and that he didn’t care. Please do not support a business that treats people like this.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 11905 Tamiami Trail N, Naples

First Visit. Greeted warmly by female host and seated quickly. Atmosphere is light and bright, welcoming and dare I say, homey comfortable. . Our waiter came by quickly and explained the menu and gave his opinion on favorites. My starter salad was delicious, fresh and tasty. And then we waited. And we waited. And we waited more. I inquired and was told kitchen had 3 persons and ours was the second ticket up. Should be a few more minutes. . Another couple came, sat ordered, ate and was leaving as we received our meal. The restaurant was not busy. Perhaps he forgot to place our order? He seemed to be all over the restaurant, not assigned to one area. . The chicken sandwich was okay. Nothing stood out. The BLT was basically 3 slices of tomato and a Salad atop it, Exceedingly overdone, almost burned bacon squished in bread bread. Had I wanted another salad, I would have ordered one. The tomatoes were good. I ate half and had about 1/4-1/3 of my fries. The long wait for food prompted me to ask for my meal wrapped up. I thought Iâ??d be able to enjoy the fries in the car. . While I waited for my check to clear, I popped in the bag to grab a fry. They were Not there!? I asked the waiter whose response was ..that they wouldnâ??t taste good later. I told him I specifically wanted them as the food took so long. He said heâ??d grab some fresh one and I offered thanks. . Then he returned and said, no fries are available. . So, likely will not return nor would I recommend. Perhaps it was an Off day for the waiter? Too many other great choices in Naples to again be disappointed. .

Mea kwan Thai Cuisine – Menu with Prices – 2326 Proctor Valley Rd, Chula Vista

Shocking experience. I just had a very upsetting experience at Mea Kwan. We usually order out but had eaten in a few times. Today we decided to eat in. When we got there, only 1 other couple was there and had just ordered. Now, I am used the the main (and only) host & waiter being not so much on the friendly side, which is not great when interacting with customers. However, I am shocked at how rude he was to me today. Rather than turn this into an essay, I’ll just summarize the issues I had, again with only two tables seated, including mine. 1. Waiter spent a lot of time in the kitchen talking, all the time. 2. He did not return to take our entree order, passing us by each time. 3. When I finally stopped him he said he’d come back, which he eventually did in about another 5 minutes. 4. After waiting 15-20 mins for a spring role app. it came out burnt. 5. Waiter said he would redo it but it would also be burnt. He said the inside is cold unless we burn them on the outside. What? 6. Entree came and was good, as the food usually is. 7. I asked for soy sauce, and noticed the waiter struggle with something. I sound found out why, because the soy bottle top was broken, and so O ruined my son’s rice. 8. When the entree was dropped off and I had piled a few plates from the app and side plates together to be picked up, the waiter didn’t take them. When I asked him to take them, again I got the ‘I will come back’ response. Let me remind you again, only two takes seated in the place. 9. When he eventually came back to remove the plates I had placed them on an empty table beside me, as I needed to make room at our table. He told me that I shouldn’t have moved the plates and this is where he got nasty, shouting at me. To me this is not acceptable. I asked for the manager and guess what….yup, he was the host/waiter, and manager. When I explained that the service was too slow, his response was that next time I should order to go. Really, he actually said that. To cap it off, when the check came he had added a 15% service charge onto my bill, automatically. For shame. Of course I had the service charge removed, paid, and left. I’d go back and speak to the owner if I thought it would help. We actually liked this place. So sad to have such horribly bad customer service and terrible attitude towards your customers. Eric

Yak-Zies Wrigleyville – Menu with Prices – 3710 N Clark St, Chicago

Decided to go to this place after looking inside seeing that it wasn’t very busy. We sat down, ordered drinks, put our food order in and waited for an hour before having to flag down the waitress to ask how much longer. She said she would check on it for us and came back five minutes later and said it wouldn’t be too much longer. She must have just put our order in after I asked about it because our food came out 20 minutes later very undercooked like they had rushed it out of the kitchen. Part of our order was missing and we asked about it and she said ‘oh that was the plate we dropped we’re making you a new one’ no apology or anything. Another twenty minutes go by and she still hadn’t brought the rest of our order. We asked to speak to the manager and explained to her that it was ridiculous how long we’ve been waiting for the rest of the food and she said ‘what are you waiting for’ and we told her and she rudely just walked away, never saw her again. We were waiting so long that we flagged down the waitress and told her to not even bring the rest of our order that we didn’t want it anymore and just bring our check. No one brought our check to us so I had to go up to the register to ask for it and to pay. Terrible management and terrible service. Will not be returning and advise others to avoid the headache of this place.

Dierk’s Midtown Café – Menu with Prices – 1422 4th St, Santa Rosa

Dierk’s is incredible! Today was my 3rd visit there, and let me tell you…delicious!!! My first visit I had the biscuits & gravy. Very tasty! However, if you’re looking for that traditional super fluffy biscuit…this isn’t it. Which I didn’t mind it all because it was more enjoyable this way. Not such a heavy & dense meal, like typical biscuits & gravy. My second visit I had Gompa’s pancake breakfast w/ a side of bacon & hash browns. Don’t judge me…I was hungry. The pancakes were fluffy, eggs cooked to perfection, hash browns well done (just as I had asked.) Delightful!! I left there very full and happy. My third visit, which was today had me exploring the salads. Let me tell you, they did not let me down. The poached egg salad is the most delectable, mouthwatering, flavorful food I have had in quite some time! INCREDIBLE! Just order it and thank me later. You like salad? Check. Eggs? Check. Croutons? Check. Bacon? Check, check, check! Trust me on this one, Dierk’s will become your new favorite hotspot! P.S. Did I mention the pull apart bread?! Also the service is always wonderful!

Jason’s Deli – Menu with Prices – 4506 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy, Lafayette

Never coming to this jason?s deli ever again. The other location on Johnston is much much better. The employees aren?t knowledgable, even the manager wasn?t knowledgeable about the correct stuff. I asked for a side salad with my managers special (i got a soup and sandwich with an extra salad on the side) The girl behind the counter proceeded to tell me that since they already sent the order into the kitchen that I wouldn?t be able to get the side salad at five dollars I would have to pay seven dollars. So I asked if they could bring their manager out to see if I could get that fixed and they said yeah. The manager came back out and told me that I couldn?t get my salad for five dollars because I got the manager special and not a regular combo, then the girl employee that was checking me out told her that there was a way and the manager commented with ?ohhhh yeahhh?. and not one apology was given for my inconvenience. Also I had to ask for the to go box for my salad to which the boy behind the counter commented back with ?oh you need something for you salad?? and then had to ask someone where the to go boxes were. it was a giant mess and honestly you just need smarter people with actual common sense at this location. maybe bring in some people from the other location to train.

Anna’s House Menu with Prices 445 E Eisenhower Pkwy #1, Ann Arbor

This was my first time here at Anna’s house and I was looking forward to this place since my mom talked about it. I put us on a waiting list and when I checked in, we waited 15 minutes for them to apparently clean a table. That confuses me since I figured the point of a waiting list was so that you didn’t wait so long for s table. We waited just as long as the people who walked in and out their name on the list with the lady at the counter. So that was the first strike for me. I figured we came in at a busy time, but I didn’t think it was that busy just to serve drinks, but the waitress took our drink order and it almost took 10 minutes to get our drinks. One of the cups wasn’t washed all the way, so we asked for a new cup and I’m can only assume the waitress forgot, because not only did it take 10 minutes for the replacement cup to come out, she served three other tables before we had to get her attention to bring the replacement cup back out to our table. We sat down at 1:35pm and waited to get our order taken 20 minutes afterwards; at 2:17pm when the waitress finally walked past the table, so I had to flag her to get her attention and ask how long it would take for our order. When she came back, she told us that there were four table orders before they would be able to start fixing our order. So I asked for the manager. The manager was polite and explained that they experienced a power outage and half of the kitchen wasn’t powered because of that. I’m not at all upset about that, but the front counter and the waitress failed to explain that to us before we waited so long for our order. Even though the manager did offer to compensate the meal, I didn’t want to wait a possible 30 minutes more for the food to be ready. The last thing I noticed was how the tables were being cleaned, I saw two just being cleaned with a towel (maybe they sprayed the towel before coming out, but I couldn’t tell); but they just wiped the taxable with the towel and didn’t dry the table off before sitting the customers down. I only saw one waiter wipe off a corner table with sanitizer but he must have been in a rush because he left the sanitizer spray and the towel in the floor next to the booth. That bottle was sitting on the floor since 2:17pm when I asked for the manager and sat there through your conversation. This was my first time at this restaurant and I’m not sure if I’ll return; not because of the power outage but because of service.

Social Urban Bar & Restaurant – Menu with Prices – 509 E State St, Rockford

We stopped here on the way back from Milwaukee and were directed to the end of a communal table. We waited. The server asked us to slide in for another couple. We waited, then someone came– to greet and take care of the couple next to us, that had come in 5 minutes after us. Eventually we were able to order a salad, but had to ask him to hold the black-walnut vinaigrette, because M has dietary restrictions. I also asked how the pork was cooked, noting her diet again. “It’s cooked thoroughly,” he said, “it’s thoroughly cooked”. “Yes,” I said, “but how?” “With sage, spinach, and apples,” he said, parroting back the text of menu. I told him we’d take it, and asked for a drink, which he said would be right out. It took 10 minutes. I told M I was concerned the pork chop might be cooked in butter (she can’t eat dairy). “Flag someone down and we’ll ask” I said. Eventually, we stopped our waiter. “I’m sorry I wasn’t clear before” I said, “when I asked how the pork chop was cooked, I was asking because my wife has dietary restrictions, and I’m not sure she can eat the pork chop.” “Let’s figure this out,” our waiter said, slamming a menu on the table. Then he randomly named items saying “What about this, can she eat this?” He did this several times in rapid succession, without waiting to hear if she could. “I’m going to stop you right there,” I said, “Basically, she can eat meat, fruit, and vegetables”. “The pork chop is meat, vegetables, and fruit,” he said. “Right,” I said, “but she can’t eat dairy–” “–It’s a pork chop” he said, “its dairy free.” “Of course,” I said, “but is it seared in butter or in sauce?” There was a pause, the waiter looked up, and into space. M later said it was like watching a resupply ship slowly dock with the international space station. He turned on his heel, and ran to the kitchen. Someone came out. We explained M can’t eat dairy. They said the pork chop comes with a butter-based sauce, but they’d leave it off. We waited. Two women next to us were brought a cheese plate. There were four wedges on the plate: one of them was *orange*. Orange is not a natural cheese color. One of the young women said “Doesn’t this look delicious?”. M smiled weakly at her. Our salad was sliced beet, alternating with sliced apple, covered with maybe 20 pieces of wilted arugula. M picked at it, then I finished it because I was starving. Our waiter came and said our pork chop was “just crossing the bridge”. We waited long enough for our pork chop to cross the bridge, climb a tree, and get a haircut. When it finally came, it was a nice tomahawk chop; I had been worried that we’d get a flimsy grocery cut, but this looked substantial. The cook/chef described how it was prepared. We were impressed. Then M cut into it: it was *raw*. Beyond a 1/4 inch at the top/bottom most of the inside of the chop was shiny and smooth, not pink and juicy. We flagged down our server, showed him it was raw, and told him we wanted our check, for the drink and salad. We waited, then a manager came out. “Your server told me you sent back your chop because of doneness,” she said. “It was raw,” we said. “Well, the thing is, our pork is fresh, so we cook it rare,” she said. Remember when we asked the waiter how it was cooked, and he said it was “thoroughly cooked”? Of course meat is cooked. Of course it should be fresh. And of course, there’s a difference between “thoroughly cooked” and “rare”. If you get fancy-fresh pork from a local farm and cook it a particular

Twisted Waffles – Menu with Prices – 1420 Annunciation St Ste 2117, New Orleans

We went opening weekend, there were some expected kinks to work out, so we waited and decided to give them another try today. BIG MISTAKE. We were the only ones there aside from staff. Promptly greeted, seated, and orders were taken, it seemed we were off to a good start. Then the food started to come, but only a couple of people got some of their food (we were a table of 5, 1 got their order, 1 was missing their side) We encouraged them to start eating so their food would not get cold, but it took a good 5 minutes longer for them to bring the next person’s food, which arrived without the lemon curd that was a key component of the lemon drop waffle. They rectified this once it was pointed out, but also had not brought out the accompanying side. By the time the last 2 people were served, half the table had finished eating, and the first person who was served and finished was now brought their side. The biscuit and gravy order that was one of the last to come out was completely burnt on the bottom, and the person who ordered it did not eat it. We had to ask for beverage refills, in mid-meal, and rather than check to see if everyone needed refills, only 2 people were given refills. Again, we were the only ones in there eating. So there are definite problems in the kitchen having to do with timing, making sure dishes are sent out with proper ingredients, and making sure they don’t send out burnt food covered by gravy. The service while friendly was not attentive considering the only people eating there had empty beverages, and a dish not eaten. The prices are not cheap, we gave them 2 tries, but this is not baseball, so we are not giving them another chance. Two strikes is enough for us to say You Are Out!!

Ziggle 9292gopchang korean bbq – Menu with Prices – 3500 Gwinnett Pl Dr NW suite 1, Duluth

Worst restaurant experience ever! I was there this evening with my husband and friends couple. Evening started out okay until we started to hear very loud noise coming from the kitchen. The noise was from someone throwing the steel grill pans and the noise lasted for more than five minutes. We asked a waiter why there’s so much noise and he said they were washing the dishes. Even after we asked the loud noise continued. As we paid for our dinner we asked to see a manager. The waiter named Eric comes and I asked if he was the manager and he said no and told me the manager wasn’t available. He proceeded to tell me he was the head waiter and asked what was the problem. I asked what time was the closing because We thought they were hurry to leave however it was two hours before the closing. As I was explaining the situation he walked off. Called him back and his attitude was very confrontational. Finally the manager shows up and was somewhat apologetic with the our experience. As we were having a conversation with the manager, wiaiter ERIC started to make gestures with hands raising up, pointing fingers and so on in as the manager was facing us. He even wanted to physically fight us, but backed down when my husband walked up to him. We asked the manager how he was going to discipline the Eric and didn’t said a word. Never had a worst experience at any restaurant ever. I highly NOT recommend this place and by the way food was the mediocre as well. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Rock ‘n Roll Sushi Menu with Prices 3431 Colonnade Pkwy Suite # 400, Birmingham

Today, I decided to use my living social voucher and try out the restaurant. The restaurant was very clean. I was told that I could sit anywhere in the restaurant. I told the waiter before taking my order that I had a living social voucher and the waiter attitude changed quickly. I told the waiter that my order was to go and he informed me that I had to do dine in with my voucher. I explained to the waiter that I did not see on the voucher were it said dine in only and he got very rude with me and said, you want me to call my manager and I said no. I looked over the menu and ordered my food. I was never asked what I wanted to drink, I was just giving water. I was never asked if, I needed anything else or if, everything was ok. I will never go back there again. The waiter acted as if, I was asking him to give me something free. I paid for this voucher and felt like I should have received ok service so, I would want to come back again.

CharBar No.7 – Menu with Prices – 3724 Lawndale Dr, Greensboro

Around 5:15 pm, my friends and I stopped in for a bite to eat. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen at all because we were never greeted or waited on. The hostess seated us at dirty table that we had to clean ourselves. In addition, we were there prior to several customers that were greeted and waited on. I wonder if this is the type of service that African Americans receive when visiting Char Bar 7. When asked to see the manager on duty, he nonchalantly walked over with an annoying stare. I wonder if it’s because he was interrupted by the kind male waiter while having a casual conversation while sipping on his drink. After informing the manager about this incident, he didn’t make any attempt to rectify the situation. His apology was pathetic as was the experience. #donteatthere #onerating#callingthegeneralmanager
