Wow! You don’t really think of great seafood when you think of Augusta but times have changed! This crab spot truly nailed it. The seafood was very fresh and everything was seasoned to perfection. I couldn’t decide what I liked most. I recommend the lobster, snow crab, shrimp and the clams. Everything was served in a delicious garlic butter sauce with an amazing seasoning sprinkled on top. The only thing that upset me was the delivery lady spilled almost all of the butter! I was so mad at her but that wasn’t the restaurants fault. I really was amazed by just how good this place is. Follow me on ig @sweet_maloy. Bottom line is I would definitely return! #askSweet

Laughing Crab – Menu with Prices – 7511 Youree Dr, Shreveport

I was visiting Shreveport today and saw a commercial about this place. I should have gone to Shane’s. Everything about this place sucks. Upon arrival we waited to be seated but there wasnt a host to seat us. There was a lady that hollered from across the restaurant and pointed where we should sit. As we were seated, the waitress approached the table and and wasnt very knowledgeable about prices or the food being sold. On Sundays they offer happy hour all day. I chose a margarita, but they charge an extra $1 if you want a flavored margarita otherwise you just get a regular margarita. Because you have the option of choosing your flavor for the seafood, I asked the waitress do they cook the seafood in the flavor and her response was yes. So we ordered a K1, snow crab boil, lemon pepper and buffalo wings. The seafood had seasoning on top of it, but the food was bland and was not cooked in the seasoning. The shrimps were overcooked. The wings were fried hard and they were dark. They were big and as they cooled down, they became tough. My date and I got sick after eating at this place. I will never visit this place again. They are too expensive for mediocre food and service.

Cajun Bistro Express Menu with Prices 1515 Pearson Ave SW, Birmingham

calling all seafood lovers! if you want seafood on the go, Cajun Bistro Express is the place to go. here’s what i loved about it. 1st…butter, butter, butter! butter makes everything better and Cajun Bistro Express does not hold back. clearly, by the photos, you see there’s no lack in seasoning either! i had the crab legs and my niecey poo had the chicken and sausage quesadilla. the crab legs come with your choice of a dipping sauce; gator or swamp. you won’t go wrong with either but i prefer the gator with the crab legs as the swamp has a light sweetness to it that i think would pair well with chicken (and yes they have wings too!!!) so here’s what i liked about the quesadilla (of course i had to taste her food too ). i haven’t had many quesadillas because they’re always boring; cheese, meat, and flour tortillas (yawn). well Cajun Bistro Express quesadillas are far from boring. the tortillas are seasoned and toasted (thank you!!!) and the filling was very flavorful! my niece thoroughly enjoyed it! so again, this location is for when you’re on the go. but if you’re looking for a seafood night of sitting and dining, they have a location for that in Center Point.

Mr. Q Crabhouse – Menu with Prices – 4221 N State Rd 7, Hollywood

Best seafood boil in Hollywood hands down!!! Where do I begin…. decor is beyond beautiful! You feel like your on a ship enjoying as much seafood as you can. Today was my mother’s birthday so we decided to treat her to Mr. Q’s Crab House. Their service and hospitality is superb. Our waiter Tara was so informative and attentive. She allowed us to try all their sauces that accommodate their seafood boils. I decided to go with their Cajun seasoning (sooo good). Other Options provided were garlic butter, Mr.Q’s special sauce and a sauce that was a combination of all the sauces in one. Fortunately, they were all pretty good! When I informed our waiter of my mothers birthday she provided us with a Birthday Poster and allowed us to take soooo much pictures and introduced us to Mr. Q himself! How awesome! He even took pictures for us. Lol Overall, Mr. Q’s Crab House is a must try seafood restaurant. Prices are reasonable and portions are enough to feed two! Moreover, my mother had an amazing time but most importantly she enjoyed her birthday at Mr. Q’s!! Thank you all again!

Juicy Seafood – Menu with Prices – 3020 S Winton Rd, Rochester

Ever since Joe’s Crab Shack and the Original Crab Shack closed, Rochester hasn’t had a seafood restaurant like that. The restaurant reminds me of Boiling Crab in California. The interior is nautical theme with wood and rope everywhere. You can sign the walls and benches if you can find a permanent marker. After a 10 minute wait we were seated. The host lined a piece of white paper on our table. She then brought over a bucket lined with trash bag that included bibs and gloves. There is a sink on the back wall. I ordered Combo Special A: black mussels, shrimp and snow crab with the juicy special seasoning. It came with corn and 2 potatoes. This was $25 and very filling. It was good minus the fact I didn’t get anything to break the crab legs. I also ordered french fries, it comes lightly breaded with cajun seasoning. I really enjoyed the fries. Both times I that I dined here were on a Saturday. The line was long and out the door. It was very disorganized in the waiting area. The floors had garbage from the previous patrons. No one had bothered to clean it up. The first time we dined here our waitress was all over the place. She would tell us one thing and do another. For example, she was ready to take our orders and as soon as we said our order, she said she would be back. She was scatter brain and just a hot mess. DO NOT order the raw oysters. They are from Mexico, most oysters in this area are from the Northeast. The oysters were too meaty and chewy. I would return here when I am in the mood for a variety of seafood smothered in sauce.

Crackin’ Crab Seafood Boil Menu with Prices 2100 Louisiana Blvd NE Suite 413, Albuquerque

I love me a good cajun seafood boil restaurant and I look for ’em almost every business trip. I was surprised to find Crackin’ Crab’s Yelper reviews mixed, but I am happy to report I had a solid experience and enjoyed the food! WINGS Coming off of my ROC Crab & Wings (from DFW area; see 8-10-19 review), I was a bit shy on the heat levels. I thought I’d start with the wings coated in Crackin’ Hot sauce to check. The wings were crispy and their “hot” sauce was a typical heat level for most seafood boil venues. I did not enjoy the oil-to-spice mixture balance. When my wings arrived, they looked glorious and were crispy, but they sat in a pool of oil with only a thin layer of spice paste covering the bottom. The lack of blue cheese to dip brought the experience down a bit, but that wasn’t as impactful as when I tried to scrape up the hot spice mixture. Due to the amount of oil, most of the spice slid off the wings. SEAFOOD This was not the case when I received my bag of boiled shrimp and crab, however, so I understand that the sauce is constructed primarily for their seafood. In that respect, the sauce works well! I wish I had ordered a higher heat level, but the meal was solid. STAFF I interacted with three different waitstaff, and I will say each conversation was succinct and to the point. Felt like all business in this venue, and not because it was busy. Overall, Crackin’ Crab is a solid addition to the cajun seafood boil genre. I’m not particularly moved by the food or waitstaff, however, so a return visit would merely be a matter of convenience.

Red Crab Juicy Seafood – Menu with Prices – 120 Hanes Square Shop Cir, Winston-Salem

This place has the potential to be the best seafood spot in Winston Salem. I was shocked to learn they were there as I found them by accident looking for another place, but I’m so glad I did! The food was really fresh and the service was actually very good. The prices tend to be on the higher end of reasonable, especially since only a few items are offered by the half pound when others have the capacity to be. I am glad that they offer several types of crab: snow, Dungeness, king and blue crab, in addition to lobster and several other shell fish. So I am definitely in love with the possibilities. My primary criticism is that the spice/seasoning was not as flavorful as many other restaurants oi f this type ( which are becoming very popular these days), but even more importantly, it was a soupy sauce instead of a dredge or roux or slurry, which allows the seafood to hold the flavor much better. Otherwise, this place is great and in a nice location. This will definitely become one of my go to/regular spots . If they can improve upon just these few areas, the title of Best Seafood in Winston is theirs to win or lose.

Fresh Stone Crabs – Menu with Prices – 1040 Biscayne Blvd, Miami

For those not aware…The Florida stone crab season starts on October 15th and continues until Mother’s Day in May. This is a delivery service only (no storefront). If you haven’t had Florida Stone Crabs and love seafood….this may push the king crab off its throne as the caviar of crab meat. While staying in MIA, I wanted to have some stone Crabs for a social gathering. I researched online and ran across this business. I called Shelley and he offered to deliver the order free of charge to my location. He had several sizes that particular day but not colossal. However, the jumbo size did not disappoint. Stone Crabs were delightfully sweet and definitely fresh. The mustard sauce complimented the sweet crab meat. I was unable to enjoy my other courses that evening due to how much crab I ate. The crab meat was so delicious that I ate till I could no more (7 jumbo claws). I look forward to ordering overnight delivery service from the Northeast.

Seafoodlicious – Menu with Prices – 4435 Skidaway Rd, Savannah

OMG. Y’all, this place has some BOMB seafood. You have to give this place a try if you’re in the area. Seafoodlicious is a small hole-in-the-wall seafood market offering a variety of fresh seafood that you can purchase raw, boiled, or fried. This place has no seating to dine-in, it’s strictly takeout. But don’t let that keep you from stopping by, the food is well worth it. I’m so disappointed in myself for previously dining in at the tourist traps. Honestly, Seafoodlicious beats those places any day portion-wise, taste-wise, and price-wise. Not to mention I think this is where the locals come to get seafood. I came in an hour before closing, and a lot of people kept coming in to order food. That’s a good sign! When you come here, it helps if you come ready knowing what you want to order. The menu and set-up can be a little overwhelming for newcomers. If you don’t know what to get though, it’s okay. Once you come in you can place an order with any of the employees behind the counter and they’ll take your payment. Everything here is reasonably priced. Low country boils are $8.99 and you can get fried seafood for under $10. A lot of items on the menu are under $10. There’s a variety of seafood on ice presented in a glass case – so you can see the seafood right in front of you and choose what you want. Seafood includes small shrimp ($6.99 per lb), medium shrimp, and jumbo shrimp ($9.99 per lb), blue crab, snow crab, fish fillets (your choice of tilapia, swai, or whiting), catfish, whole fish (I can’t remember all but black sea bass was one of them. They serve very large whole fish as well), oysters, conch, squid, and crabmeat. They also serve cooked items like shrimp salad, crab pie, spicy conch, deviled crab, garlic crab, and fried crab. If you want raw seafood, you can just order what you want behind the glass case as is. If you want fried seafood, there is a selection of fried platters on the far left side of the menu. It comes with fries and your choice of dipping sauce. They use swai for the fried fish platter unless otherwise specified. While the fried seafood is tasty and satisfying, I would not go out of my way here for it. I highly recommend getting their low country boil, especially if you’re a newcomer. It’s such a good deal! The low country boil comes with small shrimp, two blue crabs, potatoes, corn, and 100% beef sausage. If you don’t want sausage they will offer to give you extra potatoes, which is nice. I have no idea what they use for seasoning but I guess it would be something along the lines of Cajun seasoning. Then they add garlic butter to it. They may ask if you want seasoning and garlic butter mixed in or if you’d like both on the side. I highly suggest having it all mixed in, the seafood absorbs the flavor better that way. Another option is to just order whatever you want behind the glass case and ask them to cook it. I think you can only either get it deep fried or boiled (if boiled they will add garlic butter and seasoning). My family of five ended up ordering 4 low country boils, one fried platter of fish and fries, one fried swai fish fillet, and one pound of boiled jumbo shrimp ($9.99 per lb), along with some soft drinks and sauces. It was A LOT of seafood and the grand total was $66 – not bad at all! The fried swai fillet yields two portions of fried fish. It was tasty and not greasy. The boiled jumbo shrimp and the low country boils were DELICIOUS. I think my eyes rolled to the back of my head when I took my first bite. Everything is seasoned so well. The corn is delicious and soaks up all that good seasoning. The beef sausage and potatoes were good too. I was shocked by the generous portions they gave us. They truly filled the container. With the potatoes, sausage, and corn, this makes for a really filling meal. None of us could finish our food. I think each container could easily be shared between two people. As for the sauces, additional sauces are 50 cen

Bluff City Crab – Menu with Prices – 3705 Malco Way suite 102, Memphis

Made a stop last night and was impressed. I tried them once before when they were in the mall. It was so delicious. Me & my friend split the boss bag, we made it extra juicy, Cajun seasoning & â??Julyâ? heat & it was more than enough food. It was so good. The boss bag is enough to split, unless youâ??re wanting an all you can eat seafood feast. Then you might want to get it by yourself. We each had 1 cluster of crab legs, 10 shrimp, 2 corn & 3 potatoes a piece. With the sides & shrimp it was enough to get you full. The sauce that they put on it, is beyond delicious! You also have the option of adding more food, if that isnâ??t enough. The shrimp is a great size! The crab legs where thick and juicy! I must warn you, they butter sauce is $1 for a little cup. But your food is already going to be dressed with the sauce so you really donâ??t need it. It is pricey, but youâ??re getting your moneyâ??s worth. Why not treat yourself sometimes? Definitely will be back. Canâ??t wait to try the â??Memphis Mix.â? Now you can try those other guys thatâ??s cheaper, but it WILL NOT TASTE LIKE THIS! You get what you pay for! ð???

The Bucket Crab & Crawfish – Menu with Prices – 2279 Eagle Glen Pkwy, Corona

So we tried Bucket Crab and Crawfish….service started out very good, server was very attentive……the best part of the meal was the dozen raw oysters, they were very fresh and delicious! We both ordered combo #1 with a lb of mussels with the full medley seasoning. The crawfish was supposed to be fresh….yeah not so much….it was a mix of fresh and frozen (if you know how fresh crawfish taste you can tell/taste the difference from fresh and frozen right off the back)… The worst part of the meal was the seasoning! It was horrible! I smelled the bag when I opened it and COULDN’T smell any Cajun or garlic or butter…. that should have been my first clue this was going south. I stuck a finger inside to get some seasoning… it tasted and smelled as if it had a tomato paste base…not at all CAJUN! I’m not sure if they know what cajun is suppose to taste like but they missed the mark big time! I opted for the non spicy while my husband got the medium spice. His had a better taste but still tasted as if it was drowned in tomato paste with no garlic or butter or Cajun flavor! I could not enjoy the seafood because it was drowned in that concoction. My clams were all wasted. You couldn’t even taste the garlic butter or lemon pepper….. I’m not even sure if there was any in there to taste… the server said the full medley was their most popular flavoring but it was disgusting! We tasted and smelled nothing but tomato paste! Yes I tried to clean the tomato paste off the shrimp, mussels, and crawfish but still tasted horrible. Didn’t even bother to eat the potatoes, corn, or sauage…. completely covered in that stuff! Don’t waste your money! We spent $140 and was totally UNSATISFIED! They really need to rework their seasoning! I could be biased because I’m from Florida, have lived in Louisiana, and order live crawfish from Shreveport for my crawfish boils and know what fresh crawfish in great Cajun butter seasoning supposed to taste like! This was not it! This was our first time trying them and also our last time! I do not recommend this restaurant for their seafood bucket/bags….they might have other menu items that are better but we’ll never know! Or maybe just not getting that full medley concoction….. ohhh well Crab Hut here we come!

Krab Kingz 7 – Menu with Prices – 102 N McKinney St, Richardson

I have giving so many place in the Dallas area a chance in regards to really good Cajun seafood with no success. I had heard and read mixed reviews in regards to Krab Kings but decided to give them try myself plus they are located about 5-10 minutes from my office. I came in around 11:40 am during their lunch hours. They are located off Main Street in Richardson & very easy to pass if your not paying attention. Upon entering I was worried about the whole “their ac doesn’t work” people have complained about but it was actually quite cool. There were a lot of fans blowing so not really sure if they have central air at all or if its still broken either way they are trying. I decided to order their K&S (Krab & Shrimp Tray $15) just to get a feel for their food quality & portion size of crab clusters. The staff suggested getting the Cajun flavor as it’s their most popular flavor. Now what I didn’t know is that they charge $1 extra for “Cajun Butter”, so does that mean they charge a $1 for every flavor? — I hope not cause I could’ve did without the butter, parsley flakes & paprika. Their Cajun flavor is nothing spectacular IMO, I prefer a lot of spice & something to make my taste buds go crazy especially if your calling it “Cajun”. I probably would’ve been better off getting lemon pepper or no flavor at all. Now for the portion size, it was definitely enough but the crab cluster could’ve been bigger, which may be why they put in a bit more legs. I want you to barely be able to close my box but instead they just broke the legs off for them to fit in the box. I didn’t mind the generous amount of plump shrimp and potatoes. I seen a previous customer complained about “too many potatoes”, uhm I would’ve been upset if it didn’t cover the whole bottom but to each their own you cant satisfy everyone. I did use the 15% off Yelp check-in which the staff seemed to be completely unaware of. I cannot stress how important it is for business owners to be transparent with their staff & inform them about things that could come up. In the event he would’ve said no I can’t do that I would’ve walked out. Overall, for my first visit it was decent but the lack of flavor really knocked a star off for me. The customer service was amazing & the wait time was short. Will I return? It’s possible but I won’t be breaking my neck to do so.

macon crab house – Menu with Prices – 4690 Presidential Pkwy, Macon

Came here for lunch on a Friday right as they opened. We were seated immediately, not a whole lot of guests but it is still fairly new. I can’t remember our server’s name but she was sweet as can be and an attempt was definitely made. She needed to brush up on her customer service skills a bit more. She was leaning all over the table to indulge in conversation, at one point she began scratching her head right over our glasses…yikes!! We ordered the seafood boil, one hot and one mild. The food came out fast and hot. I shook the bag just to give one last mix before eating the food. After opening the bag, I was underwhelmed…all of the seasoning was at the bottom of the bag like grease and not on the food. The crab legs and shrimp were still good just flavorless. Nothing really exciting or different from all the other seafood places. I say try it and see for yourself.
