Ordered a cookie bouquet for my Grandma for her 92nd birthday. Wanted to have them delivered on her birthday, and preordered online Jan. 28th. On this date cookies by design charged my card and sent me a confirmation that it was all set to delivered on 2/09 since they can’t deliver on Sunday. Saturday came and went. No tracking email. No cookies. No one to help us. Same with Sunday. Monday I called and spoke to a customer service rep about how disappointed I was that the cookies were not delivered and by asking my grandma the surprise was ruined. The agent then informed me the cookies would not arrive until Tuesday 2/12, but they would refund the shipping. I was upset and asked to just cancel the order since it wasn’t a big deal to the company. The agent said she couldn’t refund it, but she would have her supervisor contact me. Miraculously, the cookies showed up a bit later. My Grandma sent me a picture and I noticed there are only 9 cookies and I paid for 10. I am just sad that something that was supposed to be so special has me feeling like I wasted my money. At the end of the day I paid for cookies that aren’t fresh, were late, incomplete and from a company with poor customer service (still have yet to hear from supervisor). Don’t waste your money here.

Eileen’s Colossal Cookies – Menu with Prices – 2101 W 41st St Suite #53, Sioux Falls

The cookies here are always fresh and fantastic! I special ordered cookies for my grandma’s 90th birthday but accidentally called the Eileen’s Cookies in Omaha instead of Sioux Falls location! When I went to pick up the order at the Sioux Falls location the staff realized my mistake and were so accommodating. They were able to quickly make my large order of specially decorated, birthday cookies while I was there. They saved the day for me! I can not say how wonderful this place is! The cookies turned out beautifully, were delicious and a big hit at the party!

El Jefe Taqueria – Menu with Prices – 1977 S Cobb Dr suite 310, Marietta

Order delivered was missing a taco and a jarritos soda. My money had been taken for these but no food. They will not give me my food or service and or refund my money. I’ll update this if the situation ever changes. ** added a star since they responded so fast on here ** no refund yet though. I will update if this changes**update** refund was given the owner seems much more friendly then the staff at the store. Added another star but i would work with the in house staff to give better customer service. Possibly take some pointers from Chick-fil-a.

Insomnia Cookies Menu with Prices 228 E Clayton St, Athens

The delivery service is A JOKE. My roommate’s mom called in an order at 10am to be delivered at 3:30pm to our dorm a mile away on East Campus. 3:30 comes and goes, then 4:00, and no sign of the driver. My roommate gets a call from her mom saying that she called the store and the store said they only had 1 driver who left around 2:30 and didn’t take our order, and that the driver could be there in the next 30 minutes to 1 hour. That would mean the cookies would be getting to us at 4:30 at the latest: none of us had time to sit on our butts all afternoon waiting for a box of 8 cookies. On the phone, the employee also said they could pull the order and have it ready for us to come and pick up. We headed downtown and got to the store around 4:30, passing by a delivery car parked outside of the store and another one at a red light. Infuriating. Once in the store, the girl working knew nothing about our order and had to put it together on the spot. The only silver lining to this is that she said we could call customer service and get a refund for the delivery fee. We’ll probably get a refund on the tip too, especially since it was payed for 5 HOURS IN ADVANCE when the order was placed. Poor time management, disorganization, and horrible service. Be ready to watch the grass grow if you opt to have your cookies delivered.

Mucha Lucha Taco Shop – Menu with Prices – 1530 S Val Vista Dr, Gilbert

Is there new owners or something? My last experience here was just excellent, but man this time was completely different. I guess me and my brother were bugging them ordering our food. The man working couldnt have been more condescending and the women couldnt wait to get to the back. I didn’t even order any food for myself or my son because my wifes order irritated them enough so I said screw it. My brothers wet burrito came out dry and he couldnt really saying about it because they rushed off as soon he paid. Two people were in there when we showed up so it was definitely not busy. Idk what their problems were but it was more then enough for me and my brother to never ever eat at this restaurant again. Also to the women worker, when you roll your eyes try looking away so the customer cant constantly see you doing. Just fyi for the next guy…

Sweet Hearts Bakery – Menu with Prices – 4679 Brook Dr, West Palm Beach

I have used Sweet Cravings for several events a couple birthday parties, and BBQ and they have yet to disappoint me in any way! If I could 10 star this company I would!! Truly the best, most freshest cupcakes, cookies and brownies I have ever had! I am a bit of a food critic and I wanted to wait and see if I continued to get the same great service over and over again and to my pleasant surprise they did every single time with out question! They use only fresh ingredients and the best quality of chocolates with no preservities so everything is as fresh as possible. They are a family run business with amazing service from start to finish, starting with placing my orders with Jana who is a total sweet heart who always responds to my orders quickly and she is always professional which is refreshing. My personal favorites are the smores and red velvet cupcakes, and all of the cookies and brownies are off the chain good. I will say hands down they make the best baked goods I have ever had! I know you can get some decent cupcakes from Publix but they don’t hold a candle to Sweet Cravings products and services, again only fresh home made goods which I feel is definitely worth the extra money to get such quality baked goods. The 1st time I tried Sweet Cravings was at a food truck invasion in Wellington and I had the best brownie/cupcake/cookie Sunday in my life! OMG it was amazing, now im hooked. So then I used them a few more times for my daughter’s birthday party’s and was again blown away by the quality of cupcakes we got, I had no idea they could be so freaking good by the fresh ingredients they use. They also take pride in everything they bake with is such a plus to me. What I feel sets them apart from all other bakeries I have used over the years is they truly take pride in what the baked, and they only produce amazing goods! I used Sweet Cravings again this past weekend for my husband’s birthday party which happens to fall on Memorial day weekend which I know they were busy and they still produced amazing cupcakes and they were delivered on time by Jana and Russ them selves just to make sure we were happy with everything we have gotten from them, which we are 100% !!!!! With out question! They also do any type of event you can think of from b day parties, proms, BBQ, barmizvahs, bamitzvah, quinceaneras, baby showers or any other event . So if you are looking to have a desert table that everyone will be talking about for a while then Sweet Cravings is definitely the company to use, I would and will continue to use! They even have a super cool truck they can bring to events. Thank you Jana and Russ for having such a unique and amazing quality baked goods because I am gonna be a life time customer!

Long Beach Ice Cream – Menu with Prices – 1416 W 15th St, Long Beach

I came here on a recommendation from my supervisor. He had bought a dozen bugs bunny ice cream bars and he said for about $7. So I already had in mind to buy a box for my kids. Then I asked the gentleman who was helping me how much a box of the cucumber and chile popsicles were and i was told $6.xx for the dozen. I get the two boxes and pay and somehow was charged $18.98. Don’t get me wrong it’s still a better deal than the ice cream truck, but how is it that my supervisor paid under $7 for a dozen bugs bunny and the guy told me $6.xx for the other box so even if I would’ve been charged tax my total would’ve been $15.xx. May seem petty because it’s only a $3 difference but it doesn’t seem right to charge different prices to different customers (note, my supervisor only bought the one box so the quantity isn’t a factor). I wasn’t given a receipt and like I said I was in a hurry so it’s not like I can go back and argue that I may have been overcharged. I’m still going to go back because the pricing is still great, but I’ll definitely be more diligent in making sure I get charged the right amount for each box.

Muscle Up Meals – Menu with Prices – 45 N San Gabriel Blvd, Pasadena

My first order was made on Dec 15, 10 assorted meals for $140. I got everything on Monday Dec 17 as ordered. The food was fine, they were good and the portion was fine but felt some of the meals were way too salty (namely the lamb and the meatloaf). Decided to order a 2nd batch on Dec 20 (went with mostly lighter meals this time), to be delivered on Dec 23 (Sunday) between the hours of 8pm -12am. The food was never delivered, no text messages, no e-mails explaining why. Since no one communicated to me about the status of my order, I started following up on the order Dec 26, asking for a refund and why my order wasn’t delivered. No response. Fine, I thought it might be due to a holiday, even though nowhere on the website did it indicate that the company was on holiday, in fact, next to the e-mail address, it said that “e-mails are checked frequently” on the website. Followed up again on Dec 27, nothing. During this time, I called my bank refuting this charge. Followed up again on Dec 30, letting them know that I have asked my credit card company to refute this charge and I will be leaving a negative review on Yelp, and what do you know, got a response right away! The response that I got was unsatisfactory. First, Adam (owner) explained that he was away on holiday, and thought someone had taken care of my request for refund and that he was having IT issues (He showed me text exchanges and e-mails explaining the IT issue as the reason why no one got back to me about the refund) but nope, that’s not what I was really asking about. I was actually asking why my order was never delivered on Dec 23 when it specifically said a delivery date of Dec 23. Several iterations of the response were given, one of them was “the order system has since been upgraded so that it knows when they will be away on holiday”, “he has told several clients that he will be out of town, but maybe didn’t tell me”. Sometimes, I feel like its just easier to own up to your mistake and none of that was done here. Listen, I am all about supporting small businesses and mindful about people needing time off during the holiday. But not fulfilling an order is not OK for a small business, especially in a competitive space such as meal deliveries when clients have many options. What I do have a gripe about, is that nowhere on the website, did it indicate that it was on holiday and that there was an order/delivery cut off time, had there been, I wouldn’t have placed the order! In fact, the week of Dec 17, I kept getting reminder e-mails about re-ordering! So clearly, their IT was on point about the sales portion of the business, but perhaps they need to work on the execution. Full disclosure, Adam (owner) did offer me a full refund and some free meals going forward. I have spent way too much time on this order already (I stayed up waiting for my meals to be delivered on Dec 23 as I go to bed early Sunday nights, plus time corresponding, calling my bank, etc). Mistakes happen, but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Capri Bowling Lanes – Menu with Prices – 2727 S Dixie Dr, Dayton

Attended a Birthday party last night with a large group of friends and we brought in cake and cookies. We do this same party every year and were unaware that cake is allowed, but cookies are not, which is fine. What was not fine is the employee getting loud and very rude about it and explaining that cookies (but miraculously not the cake) are a Montgomery County health code violation. Maybe next time, you can try speaking to your customers with respect. Customer Service goes a long way, sir. We spent a ton of money there, but not too sure we will be returning next year.

Richmond Hotel and Tavern – Menu with Prices – 172 King St, London

I WARN YOU DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! At some point me and a friend needed a hotel to stay at so we decided to stay at the tavern. I wasnt sure who to talk to for a room so i asked the gentleman down stairs. He took our money for one weeks stay and gave each of us a room key. During the night i had to go to the washroom. It was small, dark a dismall, to my horror when looking into the waste basket nearest the toilet … USED SYRINGES IN PLAIN SIGHT! I ran from there to my room again… the nights sleep was ok aside from the music pounding my body… The next morning we woke up to some old man creep pounding at our door. Turns out this was the REAL hotel manager. He basically told us to get our shit and get out. We quickly gathered together our things but not before we went downstairs to confront the original man who turned out to be the bartender. He refused to give me back any of the money claiming that i was being stupid. We ran up to our now unlocked hotel room. My friend couldnt find her cell phone. I told her to look under the pillows and sure enough there it was. She knew she left it on the desk and i saw it there too. Once we retrieved the phone and hotel management caught eye of this he started getting more verbally violent. Shooing us out with swear words calling us name’s as we packed in a hurry When we finally escaped the establishment we ran and couldnt have run fast enough!!! I warn you! Dont drink here. Dont stay here and dont support this place The one night i tried was like a scene out of some horror movie!!keep safe!!!

Vitality Bowls – Menu with Prices – 2835 S 170th Plaza Suite 208, Omaha

Will probably NEVER frequent this establishment again. I ordered a smoothie (throw stuff in a blender, how hard can that be?). I pulled up the loyalty app and gave them the QR code to scan. Guess what? They DON’T HAVE A SCANNER!!!! So after a hassle of how to get my rewards (cashier told me she could give me the receipt and I could “scan” it my self) I paid almost $9. OK, not a big deal. Then while I was standing there, the cashier says it will be about 10-12 minutes to make that. There was no line indicating it was a “rush”, but whatever. I said, oh ok. I’m sorry cancel my order I don’t have time to wait. The cashier then disappears into the back, and comes back with an explanation that all these orders came in before I got there. I said I didn’t really care what the reason was, I just didn’t have the time to wait. She said “well it will be at least 5 minutes”. Again I said fine, refund my money and I’ll be on my way. She then proceeded to tell me it would take at least 5 minutes for a refund. So now I ask for the manager, she says that info came from the manager. Fine, give me my money and I’ll be gone. Finally said, I don’t have time to argue, so keep my money, I’ll dispute later on my credit card and left the store. This is my 2nd trip to that store. The first one was for lunch with a couple of friends. 20 minutes to get our Acai bowls. If I could rate zero stars I would? Poorly run place, poor customer service and it’s not any better than anywhere else. I would stick with Tropical Smoothie Cafe or Jamba Juice!

Smoothie King – Menu with Prices – 600 New St Suite B, Macon

There’s a reason this location has low stars. The smoothies taste horrible and the customer service is well below the Smoothie King franchise standard. I bought a smoothie around lunch and when I tried it on my way to my first appointment for the day, it was (to say it plainly) incredibly nasty. It was so bad I couldn’t drink it. You know the smell you get from a dead skunk??? Yeah…that. A few hours later I returned it to let them know and they refused to refund my money saying it had been 3hrs since purchase. I could see if the cup was half or even 3/4 full but I took two sips! Who buys a $9 smoothie NOT to drink it. She then proceeded to insult me by saying, “I had the rest of it and it was fine.” Young lady…you look no more than 18 years old. Your taste buds haven’t even developed yet. You probably think McDonalds tastes fine too. Don’t waste your money at this location. If they make it wrong and you can’t return it immediately…they’ll refuse to refund you. Based on the reviews, I don’t think it matters. It’s bad ownerships The funny part is, I did it more as a courtesy. I wanted them to look into what may have been off in their ingredients. The smoothie is being expense for me and I won’t even be paying the bill. That’s fine…As a regular customer, I refuse to give them my money. I’ll also be sure to alert the parent company of how bad they are affecting the Smoothie King name. Be careful who you franchise to S.K.!!

The Cookie Bar – Menu with Prices – 6290 McLeod Dr Suite 120, Las Vegas

I have nothing but glowing reviews for The Cookie Bar! The flavors they offer and so fun and inventive and the cookies are well made to boot. However, I knew they were going to get my return business when I (last minute) asked if they would be able to to do a personalized cookie cake for my nephew’s 21st birthday. They were personable, friendly, and so professional in taking my order. They worked with me in personalizing the cake with an actual photograph and made the other decorations very “21st birthday” specific. Of the photo options I gave them, the photo they chose translated perfectly onto the cake. They delivered it earlier than I would have anticipated and were prompt in notifying me of delivery. Moreover, the price for the cake and delivery were great. I can’t say enough about how fabulous I think this company is! Thank you, Cookie Bar LV, you did a phenomenal job!
