This is crockpot barbecue… After driving by time after time saying I want to try that place I’m sorry to say that I finally stopped and ate their food… Don’t waste your time… For the price they charge they should give a much better plate of food… They were out of chicken and the rice and hash is nothing to brag about … the pulled pork was OK and the ribs tasted like they came from a slow cooker on your kitchen sink… this is a pork only restaurant… they give me several slices of white bread with pickles… No butter… don’t let the sign outside that says 70 years of good barbecue fool you…They should’ve closed 50 years ago…By the way… It doesn’t look like they have properly clean their trashcan in many years… When I went to throw my food and napkins away at the end of the meal… It was just terrible… Even the bathrooms need a good cleaning … i’m sure the two guys whose pictures on the wall wouldn’t be happy

Hot Spot Barbecue – BBQ – Menu with Prices – 901 E La Rua St, Pensacola

Hot Spot barbecue is the real deal. My friend brought me here insisting that I could get Texas quality barbecue in Pensacola Florida. Naturally, I was skeptical… But that was about to change. I ordered the brisket and ribs… no dice. All out. So I order the pulled pork and ribs… Strike two. “What is going on here?” And then it occurred to me… if they were sold out of everything, they must be doing something right. I ended up with two giant pieces of sausage and a plate full of rib scraps, ends, and other pieces. It was amazing! Dry rubbed with the right amount of crust. For pork ribs, they take a backseat to no one. The sausage is a beef and pork mix, with a slight hint of maple flavor. The amount they give you is ridiculous and well worth the money. I had three sides with my meal. Mac & cheese-it was great. Potato salad-also a tad on the Sweetside, but again I was not offended. It’s delicious. The true surprise though was the Brunswick stew. Tomato-based, almost chili consistency soup with various pieces of barbecue meats, peas, and corn. Finished off the meal with a piece of their famous icebox lemon pie which is phenomenal. The only thing wrong with this place is it closed on Sundays which means I can’t go back tomorrow. This is a family business, where you truly feel like they care about you being there.

County Road Provisions – Menu with Prices – 755 State Rd 207, St. Augustine

Just experienced the best barbecue since leaving Texas! I had ribs, pulled pork, sausage and brisket and this man knows how to barbecue. The ribs were my favorite, very meaty and seasoned with salt and pepper. Very little fat in the pulled pork and the brisket as amazing. If you havenâ??t tried this place you need to and donâ??t be thrown off by his trailer, this is very good!

Sloppy Mama’s BBQ Menu with Prices 5731 Lee Hwy, Arlington

I’m a BBQ fan (lived in the pork BBQ capital of America, Memphis, for 6 years) and I LOVE THIS PLACE! First of all just like many places in Memphis you can see the smokers outside in the parking lot where the smell of the meat smoking meets you before you even go inside. This is a great way to get people to start salivating for the barbecue they can order inside. We came for the first time tonight and ordered some brisket and pork and mac and cheese baked beans and cornbread as sides. While I’m not from Texas I do enjoy a good moist and wet brisket and this was among some of the best that I’ve had in the DC area. I would say that it is equivalent for better to Jack’s also in Arlington. The brisket was moist and if you wanted to get a fatty piece you could. The pulled pork was also very good. It was moist and had a delicious smoke to it. They do take the pulled pork and chop it for you before putting it on your tray. I actually prefer pulled pork 2 chopped pork so next time I will ask them not to chop it. For the sides the beans were delicious and the cornbread some of the best that I’ve ever had. Seriously I could go and just eat the cornbread alone. My wife had the mac and cheese and she also enjoyed it. They also have a good selection of barbecue sauces that come in a dispenser that looks like it could be dispensing ice tea. They have the following types of barbecue sauce. Georgia gold, Alabama white, Diablo, North Carolina vinegar, in Kansas City sweet. I have never had the Alabama white before and that was delicious. All the other sauces also Ware delicious and worth trying each one. I’m so glad that this place opened in North Arlington and will definitely be back to sample some additional meats and sides!

Bits & Bytes – Menu with Prices – 216 NW 4th St, Evansville

The facility and decor are very dated. Nothing has changed since I first visited 20 years ago. The sign was so faded, I thought the place had closed. I was pleased to find that it is still open. They offer the typical old-fashioned deli fare. They don’t skimp on the meats. Their soups are always made from scratch and are amazing. They use locally sourced produce whenever possible. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. The service is always top-notch. If they did a little work to refresh their look, some paint and clean up the sign, so it doesn’t look so run down, I would give 5 stars.

Subway Restaurants – Menu with Prices – 4973-A Clairemont Dr, San Diego

This used to be the subway i went to all the time growing up. I come every once in a while now. The past two times in a row coming here i now remember having the same employee both times. I think his name was “Kian” couldnt make out the nametag. But they were unwelcoming moments. I walk in and theres only one customer and its very slow. Shes almost done. As im walking he glances at me but doesn’t acknowledge me. No greeting or anything. Im standing and waiting for about 5 minutes until he finishes up with this customer. No issue. But when he finally comes to me he still doesnt say a word takes his time and then finally stops and looks at me. Again not a word. No apology or greeting. So i had to take the initiative and start the order. As hes doing it he does it so poorly like he doesnt want to be doing it. Hes half assing and throwing whatever he grabs in his hand on the sandwiches. I hardly get any words out of him other than “is that it?” When it came to paying he just told me my total and handed me my receipt . I usually dont care about how people act enough for me to complain like this but he held that vibe the whole way through. Whatever i guess â?

Homestyle BBQ – Menu with Prices – 1701 N Fort Harrison Ave, Clearwater

My quest for good Bbq in the Clearwater area has finally ended thanks to Homestyle Barbecue! The hospitality here is outstanding, the food is delicious, and it beats driving all the way to St. Petersburg for a rib dinner. What more can I ask for? I’ve tried numerous Bbq spots in Clearwater in hopes of finding the perfect pulled pork sandwich or tender ribs but none compare to Homestyle Barbecue. On my first visit to Homestyle Bbq the owner went above and beyond when it came to customer service by offering my friend and I samples of the pulled pork, ribs, and baked beans. We both ended up ordering the combo platter since we could not decide on which meat to choose with a side of Mac and cheese. The food was fresh and delicious beyond our expectations. If I could, I would give this review six stars solely based off of how well we were treated after telling the owner it was our first time trying their food!

Mr. Barbecue – Closed due to fire until Fall 2019 – Menu with Prices – 1381 Peters Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem

It had literally been more than 20 years since i last stopped in at Mr Barbecue. I think it was 1997 as my sons were new borns (and someone made a disparaging remark about bringing children to a restaurant…but I digress). It was about what i remembered except for the addition of some digital menu boards(fancy fancy). We went with a 1/4 BBQ chicken fried okra, and fries. I went with a chopped sandwich and fries. I was actually brought a chopped plate but the kid was so apologetic about it that i was fine with it. Plus, I really don’t need the added carbs anyway! It was pretty good, nothing that makes me think of earth shattering BBQ, but better than the fast food place that we were going to stop before I spotted Mr Barbecue on the way. Im going to do my best to make sure that I don’t go another 21 years between visits.

Le Macaron French Pastries – Menu with Prices – 12478 N Mainstreet, Rancho Cucamonga

I’m beginning to think the people that have purchased here haven’t had a proper macaron or pate choux. I wanted to get a few items before our movie and I decide to give this place a try. My gut told me not to buy as much as I did based off of looks alone, but I gave it a try anyway. The feet on the macaron were spread and the shell was really shiny so I knew they were going to be dense and sugary.. The sizes were all very inconsistent and not uniform. I purchased 6 pieces @16.50. I normally dont care, especially when it’s a good quality macaron. I bit into the pistachio and it had only almond flavor, it was super sweet, and tasted as of it was frozen. Then I decided to give the salted caramel a try, once again, no caramel flavor, all almond, tasted like it was frozen, and not to mention the hair that came out with it. I was so disgusted that the other 4 stayed in the box. Next I tried the Madeline. It was pretty large and looked super moist. I took one bite and spit it out. It was dry and tasted like it had been baked on a pan that wasn’t properly cleaned so it had a burnt taste to it. Definitely a zero. Last but not least, the coffee eclair. My mom took a bite and said it tasted like old refrigerator. Which means it’s not fresh at all. I was honestly over it and didn’t care about getting my money back, but my mom insisted on going back in. When she went in she was told they dont give refunds. Which I see why because if they had as many complaints as mine, they’d be shut down. Dont trust the reviews.

Burger King – Menu with Prices – 8501 South Fwy, Fort Worth

Customer service is very rude. Went threw drive thru and was told to pull around since i wasnt ready within her asking me what i wanted and i tried to ask a minute to look at the menu and was told no we have a line pull around. The first time i went they closed a hour early and was inside socializing and said they were closed, second time i went they were out of burger had only chicken nuggets this was my third and last time going if they dont want my money every time ive gone else were and will for now on all their staff have been rude when ive tried to order.Ive never had to give a review before but this is ridiculous and should have something done about it.

Big B?s Barbecue – Menu with Prices – 1948 N Placentia Ave, Fullerton

I’ve been in search of a local BBQ spot where I could get my fix. A co-worker recommended this place and after reading some good reviews, I decided to give it a try. Big B’s barbecue is fairly small with a few tables, a bar seating area along the wall and a walk up counter where you place your order. The staff was friendly and welcoming upon entering. I felt like I was at a family friends’ kitchen. The gal at the register offered some menu suggestions seeing that it was my first time there. I ordered the BBQ pork sandwich with a side of Beckett’s beans. The sandwich was good, but the BBQ sauce is what made it! I love that this place is connected to Brian’s beer and billiards next door. I will definitely be back to have some barbecue over some drinks. Overall, I was satisfied. Good food and good customer service!

Googly’s AM PM Eatery – Menu with Prices – 4124 S Staples St, Corpus Christi

I work in the restaurant business and understand the frustration of a customer coming in at the last 5-10 minutes before close, but this has been the third time that I have come before 9:30 and the store is closed. First time being that the open sign was on and the employee stated that they were closed, when I replayed â??itâ??s on 9:03 the door says yâ??all close at 10â? the only response I got from him was â??yeah well sorry we are closedâ? Second time the open sign was on again and I came at 8:40 just to be safe only to find the doors were lock on a Tuesday. I rushed so much to get out of work early so I could get some food only to be disappointed in locked doors. And today even as I post this it still isnâ??t 10 yet but I was over there at 9:20 and the employees stated they were closed. I know it would be better if I came during the day but I normally work all day, 10am-8pm.
