What a surprise this was! A very nice little bar area, nice people working. And a truly impressive food and drink menu to boot. The house burger was very impressive and delicious, as were my boys’ BLT sandwiches. The buffalo fries were a bit meh, mostly because it was an uninspired squirt of sauce and a sprinkle of blue cheese over very mediocre fries. Some great choices on the beer tap and a nice selection of drinks over all, and our cocktail was very well made. All accompanied with the gorgeous view of the golf course. So one big strike is the smoking issue. Its a private club, so surely that’s why the golfers, and apparently just guys sitting around, can enjoy their cigars at their leisure, despite it being a restaurant, open to the public. It was annoying and we moved inside. Really too bad because it was so wonderful outside. But, again, its probably the private club aspect of the place, so not holding this against them. The prices are higher that you might like but some things were worth it. The burger was worth $18. It was. Not any more, but I’d order that again. If the buffalo fries had not come with the burger, they would have been $6, I believe. It might sound odd, but they were not even worth that. BUT… the positives do outweigh the negative. We’ll be back for sure.

Burgerim Gourmet Burgers – Menu with Prices – 120 W CityLine Dr Suite 600, Richardson

Came for the grand opening and honestly was super disappointed. Waited in line for about like 45 min before opening really hungry and ready to get this free burger and buy some fries and etc. They had like 2 vendors come out and a DJ and had lots of balloons and what not. Finally after waiting in the heat they open the doors at 12:05pm and only let 10 ppl at a time. Me and my bf get inside and we get to “order” and by that I mean they had pre made burgers sitting out and we only got to choose from 2 options the grilled chicken or the regular burger. So now that I didnt get to try the burger I wanted to try ( assuming we could choose any burger since the advertising said free burger.. you would think it would be any of their burgers that you could choose from) we ordered a fries and grabbed our burger from the counter (who knows how long it’s been sitting in the back already made) We sit down the burger is pretty small and super sad. The veggies looked super non existant. I opened the burger and finally found it hiding. The burger was sooo dry and super chewy. Like some frozen patty that you get at your school cafeteria lunch. It was so bad I would not pay like 8 bucks for this. The fries finally came out after we finished our burger and we had to go up there to ask when our fries were done. They had it just sitting up there and no one delivering to our table.. The fries were so small.. and it was like potato chips? It was definitely better than the burgers but still so pricy for the amount of fries and size of it. Also what was really annoying was there was nothing on the table. At least have some napkins… you have to grab everything at a station which was annoying to do when theres a bunch of ppl in the store. Giving 2 stars cause they tried and gave free burgers but honestly this just made me realize why these burger IM have bad reviews and that the quality of these burgers is defin not worth the price. In and out is a million times better than this and cheaper go there instead.

Will’s Grill – Menu with Prices – 4011 Sycamore Dairy Rd #100, Fayetteville

This is a nice little burger spot located across from Carmax on Sycamore Dairy Rd. It’s small but it’s a great place to go for lunch. As soon as I entered I was greeted w/ smiles & warmth by a nice little old lady behind the counter. Apparently her son owns this spot and he works the grill while Mom & Pops help out. I got the Cowboy burger w/ BBQ sauce. It came w/ a huge onion ring in it, cheddar cheese & the softest buns I’ve ever had on a burger. Burger was huge and I had to take half of it home. The flavor is on point because it has a chargrilled taste to it. The fries are addicting…seriously! I don’t know what he puts on them but even McDonalds fries can’t compete. For around $9, you get a huge burger, fries, & a drink. I was a huge 5 Guys fan until I ate here and I have truly found my burger spot. ONE issue…they close way to early! (3pm). Will, stay open at least until rush hour is over. (7pm). I guarantee you would have lines going out the door because no one likes to cook these days. If you want hot, fresh, and delicious food w/ a smile, drop by and see Will. You will walk away full & happy.

Static Nightlife – Menu with Prices – 283 E Spring St, Columbus

Very cool, Black owned private, social club. This is very cool for a mature audience. They have different events that are open to the public and its always a good time. Very welcoming and some family oriented as well. Check their page for upcoming events.

MeVell’s BBQ & Wings – Menu with Prices – 3024 New Covington Pike, Memphis

Make sure you tell them regular fries or seasoned fries! They’ll charge you for seasoned fries which is an extra $1.00, and not tell you. We were over charged twice. The double burger is the best item on their menu! It’s huge and juicy, but if you order the $8.99 special that you can get a burger, BBQ sandwich or fish with wings and fries, the burger is so tiny, over cooked, and not worth it. The wings are decent. I have eaten here several times, and was only happy with the double burger. The gentleman answering the phone is cross, and not very nice, but the lady is very nice and sweet. My family won’t be eating here anymore due to overcharging.

Mojo’s and Legends – Menu with Prices – 113 N Erie St, Toledo

For being in such a hell hole like Toledo, this place is by far the best gay joint I’ve ever been to and mark my words I’ve been all over this country more than most will ever dream of going. So I know what I’m taking about. Now there’s a difference between a night club and a bar/show club. This place is a real time bar/show club. New to the bar or the scene? No problem. It’s easy to talk to folks and get to know new people. Everyone is welcoming and open there. Wanna bring a group of friends to see the amazingly talented and legendary shows? Perfect place to do it whether you’re gay or straight. The place is clean, it’s safe, and the employees are fun! No one is left in a corner without someone to talk to. You won’t find annoying cliche chiqs here, no fighting gangs, or annoying little children recently legal and causing problems. Trust me, it’s a great time!!!

Vicki’s Lunch Van, LLC. – Menu with Prices – 2520 Fairground Rd, Montgomery

I was looking for another burger spot while in Montgomery and came across Vicki’s Lunch Van (Without the Van). This is a small place with walk up ordering. You’ll probably open the door and already be at the back of the line, don’t worry-it move fast so stick around and get a burger and fries. The 6oz was the perfect size, the 8oz is a big burger so be ready to get both hands messy putting that big ol burger away. Burgers come with cheese and all the fixins, you can of course ask to have things removed but live a little and just eat it like it comes. The FRIES were dang good, hot and crispy like they should be. Grab some season salt to toss on them off a table! Combo comes with burger, fries and a drink for less than $9, cant beat that. If you are in Montgomery swing out and grab a burger from Vicki’s!

Bless Your Heart Burgers 33rd Avenue – Menu with Prices – 5410 NE 33rd Ave, Portland

Located at the former site of Cannon’s Rib Express, Bless Your Heart Burgers (BYH) 33rd Avenue is the second location of BYH and the first location on the east side. There seems to be a lot of hype about BYH’s burgers and I can see why. I wouldn’t say its the best burger in town, but I did really enjoy my Classic Burger (with added sautéed mushrooms and bacon) last night. I love how BYH smashes their burgers to get a super crusty finish on the exterior of the burger. That char added so much flavor to the burger, and the burger was still moist too. The sautéed mushrooms added a nice textural element, though I would skip the bacon next time since it was a bit chewy and definitely low quality. Along with my burger, I also shared Chili Cheese Fries and the Down n Dirty Fries with my partner. Of the two, I’d say the Down n Dirty Fries were my favorite. Both of the fries came with this great beer cheese sauce, but I liked that the Down n Dirty Fries came with griddled onions, peppers, and mushrooms, as I felt like I needed more veggies in my meal due to the use of shredded lettuce in my burger instead of a big piece of lettuce, which is normally my preference. I thought the fries were a tad oily, but still tasty nonetheless.

City Line Diner – Menu with Prices – 1420 Main St, Worcester

Solid diner. Great addition to Worcester and this side of the city. Owners are two best friends one of which used to be an EMT. They put a lot of effort into revamping this once friendlys location. The menu isn’t anything that’s crazy different or going to blow you out of the water. You’ll find your diner mainstays like Irish breakfast, bennies, club sandwiches and bowls of chili And like everything in between ! Reason I come here versus another diner would be solely for the chicken and waffles- it’s perfect! Giant chicken breast fried up crispy tastes like the best combo for the nicely executed waffle and accompanied by the maple syrup and butter for the best everrrrr breakfast experience (or lunch ) i also can speak highly of the French toast, really nice and well stuffed omelettes and the coffee isn’t fantastic but it’s not just flavored hot water either. Gotta hold out for 11 am sometime and get in there for lunch. Buffalo chicken Sammich is a great choice as well as the club sandwich BUT The burgers are actually so damn good I wish they were open past 2 pm – is really be getting them all the time. The best ever (basic) burger honestly outside of my own kitchen. The staff alone is worth the visit. They are always quick and absolutely a delight.

FatBurger ASU – Menu with Prices – 681 E Apache Blvd #103, Tempe

I have memories of going with my father to enjoy a burger and fries at Fatburger when there was a location at Desert Ridge Marketplace years ago. It was delicious! But then I hadn’t been back and it’s no longer there. Needless to say, I was quite excited and surprised to learn only yesterday that a new Fatburger location JUST opened up on the ASU Tempe Campus, right around the corner from my office. I jumped to be one of the first people to enjoy a meal there! I jumped at an Original Fatburger and Fat Fries with a glass of water. They do have wings (boneless and bone-in), a chicken sandwich, various other burger sizes (all the way up to the Triple King Fatburger). They also have various types of fries including the sweet potato fries. Finally, in addition to soda, they have some delicious milkshakes. While I didn’t have a shake (yet), two of my colleagues got shakes today and seemed to really enjoy them. There are only a few seats in the location but plenty of seating with shading right outside. All of the staff were very nice and talkative, and the service was very quick and accurate. They gave various suggestions and made recommendations for add-on items. They also were more than willing to answer my questions. The hours are reasonable with summer hours of 11-7 though once the school year starts back up in August, the hours will be extended. My only concern is how pricey it is. A combo meal with a burger/sandwich, fries, and a drink are more than $11, which is quite a bit more than some of their nearby competing restaurants, but the taste is more than worth it! Definitely deserving a visit.

Island Gypsy Poolside Cafe at Park Shore Resort – Menu with Prices – 600 Neapolitan Way, Naples

A somewhat intriguing eating experience given the location of the restaurant. Located on a small island in a small Lake surrounded by vintage condominiums. Well it may have been private at one time, it is now open to the general public. Parking was a bit tricky since the Signage read “private parking, violators will be towed.” Something to that effect. We decided to wait and a spot opened up and we headed to the restaurant. It had a Florida shanty atmosphere, very lively and crowded. Although we did not have reservations, they did seat us in the outside area. The server was very welcoming and very informative and helpful. My wife had the Thai chicken, which was highly recommended and I had the grouper sandwich. The Thai chicken served with rice and asparagus was just OK, nothing more and nothing less. The grouper was a large blackened piece on a tasty bun with lettuce, tomato and a slice of onion. The fries were very good, firm and crispy on the outside, tender and moist on the inside. The grouper is my recommendation. The happy hour well drinks were a good deal.

First, we would like to announce that we have finished installing new driving range lights. The driving range will be open late afternoons starting immediately. Range balls can be purchased until 4:45 pm however, balls can be hit until 6:30 pm. The following week, we are looking to extend pro shop hours once we are able to staff it appropriately, and hopefully keep the the range open until 8 pm. Next, the entire course will be CART PATH ONLY, no exceptions. We do not have a definitive time frame for when the “cart path only” restriction will be lifted. This is directly from the owner and we are requiring all players to abide by this rule. The speed and height of cut of the greens are improving day by day, but in the meantime will putt slower than normal. Thank you for the continued patience, we hope to see all of you soon.

The Parkway Tavern – Menu with Prices – 12225 Voyager Pkwy, Colorado Springs

First time visitor. Had a coupon, so made the drive. We got there about 4:15 PM on a Thursday. We grabbed a table in the bar. They have 4 large TVs above the bar and a jukebox. There was 3-4 people sitting at the bar and 2 people sitting on the outside patio. The bartender (a blonde lady, who said she is also a physical fitness trainer) came over to wait on us. She was great – personable, friendly, helpful, attentive, and prompt. 5 star service. Between my wife and I we got a burger, a philly, fries, onion rings, and 6 buffalo wings to try + drinks. Beer was served cold. My wife ordered a chardonnay – they only had one (bad) chard to choose from and it was $8.25 for the glass (at a time of day where you can get better happy hour chards for $3 – $5 at other places). I ordered my burger “medium to medium well” and it came out well done – no pink, tough, and dry. Very disappointing. The fries were good – nice seasoning. The onion rings were good – not too greasy and crisp enough. The philly was okay – the peppers, onion and cheese were good, the meat was a little skimpy. The buffalo wings were just okay. There was nothing unique or special about the wings or the buffalo sauce. Honestly, I think you can get better wings at several places in town. Service = 5 stars, food = 3 stars, thus average = 4 stars. Their outdoor patio looked nice and our server said that they are in the process of changing over their menu. They seem like nice people, so I hope they succeed here.
