I don’t know where to start! This place was totally run down, had water all over the floors from a leaking ceiling, the bathrooms were disgusting and had broken toilet seats and no toilet tissue anywhere. The whole place smelled from water stinging on the floor. We almost walked out, but it was our date night and we had purchased tickets to a comedy show, which was sub par. After seeing the bathroom, we agreed to eat fast food on the way home. They charged $9 for a bottled beer and had no way to make frozen beverages. Not worth it, but it put a memory in the books.

The Blue Note – Menu with Prices – 17 N 9th St, Columbia

My wife and I really enjoyed our date night tonight. We watched Greg Warrington comedy show. While this was a fun night, we were sad to see that the Blue Note charged us cosmetic fees. They charged us a handling and processing â??stupidâ? fee online for literally purchasing tickets to the show. Once at the door we had to buy a two drink minimum cover times two which meant that we spent $25 on mandatory drinks. The Blue Note USED TO be a historic and attractive date night in the past but now it seems like they are more geared towards seeing their profits increase. Sad to see this from management. Smh

Pure Water Ice & Tea Company – Menu with Prices – 404 Frankford Ave, Lubbock

I have been very disappointed in the upkeep of this location in the last month or two. Numerous times Iâ??ve visited and counters are dirty. The worst has been the bathroom. Have been in on more than one occasion that the toilet is disgusting. Thereâ??s been no soap and/or paper towels. Dead roaches on the floor. And today when my daughter went in there was no toilet paper to use; there were napkins though, so Iâ??ll at least give an â??Aâ?? for effort. I feel that what the public areas of a business look like show a lot about how they likely care about the back. Iâ??d really like to start seeing some improvement on the cleanliness or we will take our business elsewhere.

Isleta Amphitheater Menu with Prices 5601 University Blvd SE, Albuquerque

Albuquerque’s largest venue just minutes away from the heart of the city. The prime choice for artists to put on a show for the fans. It may not be as glamorous as the Red Rock amphitheater in Denver, or the other nicer larger venues you see in much larger cities, but this is ours in our home. Needless to say every artist whose come to put on a show never disappoints. They go all out in their productions from pyrotechnics, lighting, live cameras, and special effects. They have a wide selection of food and beverage stands to keep you comfortable while your surrounded by thousands of other fans. But expect to pay a pretty penny. Just a meal will cost you between $6-$15 depending what you get. Beverages run $4-$12 depending what you get. Adult beverages go up from there! I paid $25 for a frozen daiquiri! I was mind blown at the mark up they pull on some of the stuff they sell. This venue can get quite expensive so don’t expect to spend less than $5 because you’ll be sorely disappointed. Tonight I saw Iron Maiden. My favorite metal band since I was a teen! The production was amazing! That band never disappoints! I highly recommend seeing a show at this venue! My only complaints would be the pathways. This venue needs more open paths to accommodate the thousands of people in it. Usually the end of the show is when you’ll notice it. Expect to be a sardine for an an extended amount of time after the show because everyone is leaving at once, the pathways tend to get cramped the further you proceed toward the entrance to the venue. Traffic gets backed up on university because the road narrows to one lane instead of two after you pass the venue so expect delays. The seats are a bit outdated and small. If your a big guy like me your gonna feel a little cramped while sitting in the seats unless you chose to get the premium box seats which are much comfortable and more spread out. My final complaint would have to be the prices on the food and beverages. It’s basically highway robbery in my opinion cuz you can’t bring outside drinks except a sealed water bottle. They now off water bottle refill stations so if you do bring in your water you don’t have to worry about using a nearby sink or purchasing another there. Other than that it’s a great venue! Check out a show there sometime!

Renaissance Asheville Hotel Menu with Prices 31 Woodfin St, Asheville

I loved the location of this hotel and that they allowed our pet to join us! It was easy to walk into downtown and there was a nice area to walk your pet. The decor was very modern and our room was clean. We had a nice view from our room and enjoyed having nice big windows. Go up to the top floor for an even better view. There is a nice outside patio seating that the hotel offers as well! The bed wasn’t comfortable for my husband and I. It was very soft and the mattress slept hot. It was also hard to regulate the temperature in our room. The bathroom was decent and had a good shower. The shower curtain was dirty and the toilet sprays water out when flushed. Also the toilet itself was old. We didn’t have very good hot water one day. The bathroom also had a sliding door that doesn’t offer a lot of privacy. There is ample parking here but some spaces require a hike. I didn’t mind that so much because it was nice to have free parking! I had pleasant experiences with the staff I interacted with.

Famiglia Bistro – Menu with Prices – 2501 McHenry Ave, Modesto

This review is for the backroom event venue services: Comedy Night in particular. The wait service was/is absolutely unacceptable. Our table of 10 was given no attention and when we did, it was with a loud, full blown attitude DURING the show, distracting other attendees. We also observed other tables expressing obvious disappointment and disatifaction with our same waitress. The entire night would have been ruined if it wasn’t for the actual comedy being good. It was hard to ignore the terrible service. Can’t speak about all the staff but standards are standards. The food was extremely delayed and subpar upon delivery. The bruschetta was a straight joke. The kitchen probably needs a pep talk after a review of Famiglia standards. Nobody received waters and when some did, no refill, no one received or was asked about their alcoholic drinks refills either. The obligatory group gratuity and service fees were another slap in the face given the lack of customer service provided. I have frequented the restaurant and it has always been a great experience. It is the saddest memory to walk away with when you expect the same high level at a show night and even bring more friends out, only to have everyone walk away completely disgusted. I can’t imagine willingly spending more money here during show nights. Hope it improves. I won’t be ordering a thing at the next show. We will remind everyone to eat & drink elsewhere prior to or save their hard earned dollars for after the shows.

Klondike Sunset Casino – Menu with Prices – 444 W Sunset Rd, Henderson

Last evening 2/16/2019 my girlfriend and I went to have dinner and enjoy the comedy show Bonkerz. First let me state the comedy show was FANTASTIC. The headliner James “BIGFOOT” Scott was absolutely hilarious, the openers were also very entertaining. THEY GET 5 STARS ! The venue in the Klondike Casino is their restaurant Sarah’s Kitchen. I signed in for the comedy venue, and was advised to sit anywhere. I must have picked the invisible table…….then I realized there were many, many invisible tables. Where I sat was only placemats. I sat for over 45 minutes without anyone asking if I wanted a beverage. Clients noticed that I patiently sat for over almost an hour………No bus person, waiter..NO ONE even as much stopped at the table. Oh by the way they no longer offer club members the Prime Rib Special, it was $5.55 for club card holders, it is now $12.99. That being said after an hour my girlfriend ordered a salad that arrived with NO DRESSING. That fiasco required asking 3 employees for dressing. My burger was undercooked….I ate it because it had taken 40 minutes for the burger and salad to arrive, I was HUNGRY, and may never see my food again. Needless to say, the service was DEPLORABLE, AWFUL, TOTALLY INVISIBLE. Management should have pulled someone over from the bar wait staff. The comedy venue was totally packed. I have made a firm decision to never eat at that property EVER AGAIN. I will attend the BONKERZ comedy venue.

Sugami Hibachi Express Menu with Prices 15434 E Mississippi Ave, Aurora

This place is terrible and it saddens me because it’s walking distance from my home. I walked over to order my dinner and at that time no other customers were in the restaurant. The owner? a nice gentleman immediately got up and greeted me . I checked the menu and gave him my order. I paid his wife? and asked if I could please have a glass of ice water while I waited . I don’t think the gentleman really understood me, his wife jumped in and said no water, I would have to buy a bottle of water. I explained that I just wanted a plain glass of ice water while my food was being prepared . She pointed to the glasses and said no I could not have any ice water while I waited . I would have walked out then had I not already paid. It was 80 some degrees outside and I just wanted a drink of water yet she was insistent that I buy bottled water. I mean really? I ordered 2 egg rolls and sesame chicken and walked back home to eat my dinner and have a glass of ice water! The sesame chicken could have been sweet and sour ckn with a few sesame seeds on it. The egg rolls were frozen I believe. Bottom line …….I will NEVER return here .

Che Butter Jonez Menu with Prices 680 Murphy Ave SW, Atlanta

Found them at Food Truck Tuesdayâ??s in Lilburn. Ordered the ball-less lamb and the Brussels sprouts. Fâ??N AMAZING! Wowza! When I think of food trucks, I think of fast food. This food was fast (reasonably) – but gourmet excellence from a truck! A TRUCK!!!! How is that possible???? It cost me $20, including bottled water. It was worth every penny! Holy schmoly I may have to stalk them.

Montecito Inn – Menu with Prices – 1295 Coast Village Rd, Santa Barbara

READ READ READ!!!! First, If you are here on Yelp considering this hotel, let me cut to the chase right now: You will not have a good time if your experience is anything like ours. . Secondly, take a minute to leave this review and read all of the other one star reviews that have been written up against this hotel in the recent months. These are not one stars that are two or three or four years old, these are all recent (within the last year) guests who have been very unhappy with their stay. Lastly, here’s our experience: We booked on Hotwire, having a good idea from the description and the number of stars that it was in fact the Montecito Inn, so we knew where we were going. Unfortunately, this is the one time I did not use Yelp and my wife really wanted to use Hotwire. I was distracted and didn’t push the point. Boy, did I learn my lesson. We checked in and we’re given a room. (When we checked out that the staff told me that this was one of the “luxury suites”.) We proceeded to our room on the second floor and found a very small room. Clean, with the towels and bedding properly made up and displayed. But that was about it. – We could hear much of what our neighbours upstairs spoke and could easily hear them walking across the floor, setting (or dropping) anything down such as luggage or God knows what. This place was built in 1928 by Charlie Chapman (Stop here and say “Wow!!” Put your hands on your cheeks and say “Oh my gosh!!” ). and it really shows. Soundproofing and noise abatement were not the hallmarks of construction in 1928. This alone, regardless of any of my other comments, are an absolute deal killer to me. This room is so far overpriced for what is delivered that it’s not even funny. – The furniture in our room was adequate but our dresser was broken. The top and middle drawers of our dresser were broken and would not shut properly. See the photo below. The slide or guide that the middle drawer goes in and out on was literally missing, so the drawer was only opening and closing with a slide / guide on one side. It’s pretty obvious when you look at it that it’s tilted, kind of tells you right away that it’s not working. Ridiculous lack of quality for the money paid and the fact that Charlie Chaplin built this. (Stop again if you feel like it and say “Wow!!”) – Better yet is the bathroom!! What an adventure in convenience and ease of use. As you enter your bathroom the first thing you notice is that the toilet does not have a conventional water tank behind it to hold water like you would find in your own home. Instead, it has a piece of pipe going to flushing handle right on top of the toilet just like the toilets at Taco Bell and In N Out Burger. The reason I mention this is because this type of toilet uses industrial water pressure. In other words, it does not store water in a tank for you to flush and then have to wait to fill back up like we do at home, but instead it comes straight off the main cold water header in the hotel. You can flush it over and over and over and it will flash each and every time because water pressure is always there. Kind of like hooking your garden hose up to your toilet – you have a constant source of pressurized water, no waiting. What this also means is that each time someone flashes a toilet talk to your cold water heater, the cold water pressure drops were sacked because of all the cold water rushing into that toilet bowl. IF YOU ARE IN THE SHOWER WHEN THIS HAPPEN YOU WILL LOSE ALL THE COLD WATER AND GET HOT, HOT WATER COMING OUT OF THE SHOWERHEAD!! AND IT HAPPENS IN AN INSTANT, WAY QUICKER THEN YOU CAN MOVE! IMAGINE HAVING THIS HAPPEN THE WHOLE TIME YOU’RE IN THE SHOWER!! Yeah, this place is just awesome!! – Add to this that our room had electric outlets in what appeared to be only one wall and they were not accessible. I could not find anything to use in our room (not the bathroom) except extension cords I had to drag out from u

Grand Ole Opry – Menu with Prices – 2804 Opryland Dr, Nashville

I didn’t think I’d love it this much since I’m not even a country music fan. It was terrific and so entertaining! It’s not just listening to live music, but also you get to enjoy square dancing, yodeling, comedy, and trivial questions for free prizes. I laughed a lot, and was in awe of the wonderful performances. We arrived about an hour before the first show not knowing what to expect. They had many places there to get a quick bite to eat even before entering the building. There was a Yee-Haw Brewery truck as well as other diner type food trucks. There’s even a shopping mall across the street with lots of food options. Go early and just walk around. It’s actually a very relaxing walk and entry through security. You also might want to get your cocktails before the show. I say that because a rum or whiskey drink will cost you $22. I was in shock. That’s more than stadium prices. I mean really! The drinks were good with plenty of alcohol but not worth the sticker price. The show was amazing! It was a mix of old and new country singers. Some famous ones like Trace Adkins, Jon Conlee, and Hunter Hayes. There was a young girl from Canada who sang her heart out during her first Opry stage debut. Madison Kozak got a standing ‘O’ for her performance. She had the voice of an angel. The Riders in the Sky comedy group were so entertaining. I loved them! This particular show was broadcast live on radio channel 650 AM and on SiriusXM. It was such a cool experience. Our seats were front and center on the mezzanine level. I’d get these same seats all over again. Everyone was so friendly (staff and patrons). The Opry brings together people from all over the world. I can see why country music is popular now. Don’t hesitate to get a ticket to a show while you’re in town. You won’t regret it. It was worth every penny and it was the highlight of our trip. A must when in Nashville.

Sammy’s Lounge – Menu with Prices – 5521 Center Point Rd, Cedar Rapids

This is a casual, no frills bar and I’m A-ok with that. Its in a strip mall, so I honestly wasn’t expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the lady running karaoke was and how accommodating she was to our song requests. Looks like a lot of regulars were enjoying themselves, which I like to see. Good drinks, affordable prices…nothing fancy, but sometimes that is just what you need. They get a star off simply because the place could use a few tweaks and updates….and there is a toilet in the women’s bathroom that is almost impossible to use as the door is like 6 inches from the toilet, which was quite an interesting experience.

Hawaii Bar 989 – Menu with Prices – 989 Dovercourt Rd, Toronto

Not bad. It’s definitely a dive bar: puffed plastic and metal chairs straight from a Chinese restaurant in 1992, rickety pressboard tables, crazy crap all over the walls… Service was friendly enough, but the bartender didn’t know any bourbon cocktails, which I was craving. I mean, hey, neither did I, but I’m not a bartender anymore and I used to keep a big book of cocktails behind the bar for these situations. Yes, I realize I was being the worst customer ever with my “uhmm I want something with bourbon in it… but I don’t know what…” I ended up ordering a bourbon with ginger ale and lemon slice (meh) while the Hubster had a beer, and then SOMETHING HAPPENED. A man stepped up to a microphone at the back of the place and said “hey everyone, welcome to our comedy night!” The Hubster and I exchanged barely concealed horrified looks, as did the table of two guys beside us. Turns out, the four of us were going to be the only audience members on their biweekly amateur stand up comedy night, and we were all in the front row. Clearly, none of us saw the sandwich board sign outside. The other comedians were huddled near the bar, reading over their notes on their phones. If you’ve never been to an amateur comedy night before, it can be pretty uncomfortable. The comedians are about 5 feet away, nervous, and will often look right in your face for support, and since I’m not one to heap out fake praise, they didn’t get much from me. Which made me feel bad. I’m not going to comment on the quality of the comedians. They got better as the night went on… a combination of pounding back drinks and the fact that they generally got more experienced and better as the night went on. The show was maybe an hour and a half long, and once that was over, the comedians quickly left the bar en masse. We breathed a sigh of relief, and suddenly found ourselves with hours and hours of stuff to talk about (thank god they left, and didn’t have to hear all the blistering comments from a TV producer and a marketing writer). It ended up being a really cool night after all and definitely a fun memory. We likely won’t make an effort to check out the comedy night again, but we might visit the bar for drinks. If anything, because it is literally a 5 minute bus ride from our door.
