Snyders Lance Bakery – Menu with Prices – 602 10th Ave, Columbus

Sugar and Lace Bakery made an amazing cake for my daughterâ??s graduation from Midwestern University. My daughterâ??s degree is Doctor of Pharmacy. Vanessa baked a delicious chocolate cake with buttercream frosting. It was decorated with a graduation cap, diploma, a prescription bottle with some pills spilled out, a bandaid, and other things about pharmacy. Everything was edible. The cake tasted so fresh. My daughter loved her cake and all of the guests at the party thought the cake was spectacular. I would highly recommend Sugar and Lace Bakery. Vanessa is very talented and a very sweet person. Delightful to do business with. Take a look at the photos on her page. She does amazing work.

Walmart Bakery – Menu with Prices – 10824 Parallel Pkwy, Kansas City

This bakery ruined my baby girls first birthday! They donâ??t even deserve the one star but you have to choose at least one in order to write a review. First of all they got the size wrong. I ordered a 1/2 sheet he comes out with a 1/4 of a sheetð??³ it was on the order form big as day 1/2 sheet marble. Then when I looked at it I was like what is this. It was horrible! It looked like my four year old had wrote Happy 1st Birthday on it. Walmart needs to stop advertising custom cakes if they donâ??t have a licensed professional baker. The manager didnâ??t even have the decency to come out and listen to my complaint. He just said I could have it for free. I didnâ??t want a free cake I wanted a pretty Minnie Mouse cake for my little ones birthday. The cake was so sloppy and unprofessional I trashed it as soon as I walked out the store. I canceled her first Birthday party at the last minute and rescheduled it for the following week so that she can have a perfect cake on her special day. So if you can help it DO NOT go to that Walmart bakery. Iâ??m not saying all of them are trashy but the one at Village West is.

Chatta-Cakes bakery – Menu with Prices – 5143 Hixson Pike, Hixson

Had a shark themed cake for my babies first birthday party. Wasnâ??t specific they did great on delivering the image i wanted for the cake made the shark look friendly. Not only did it look good on the outside but it was absolutely delicious!!! It was red velvet with cream cheese filling. Buttercream had to be on the outside for how i wanted the cake. It wasn’t over powering or too sweet. It was perfect!! I also had a Strawberry smash cake for my son & it was really good he loved it. The Women & Man in the shop were so nice & friendly. The man was generous enough to help me take the cakes to the car. I do not regret choosing them for my sons first birthday cake!!! They were amazing. I will continue to shop with them for future parties!!!

Bani Bakery – Menu with Prices – 3710, e, Westminster Ave, Santa Ana

I ordered a cake from this place and they clearly could NOT follow directions! The worst part is that I’m not even from Southern California. I flew down to San Diego to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. My cousin who is from the area of the bakery drove it down to me to celebrate my 3 year old daughter’s birthday. When I placed the cake order I told the lady that I have 3 criteria of the cake 1. Must feed 4 people 2. Must be a Minnie Mouse theme 3. Absolutely no fondant (what so ever) I made it very clear I don’t care what the design looks like (simple was fine with me) I just don’t want any Fondant. She sent me a sketch of the design which had the words no fondant on it. I approved the design paid ($45) in full, to place the order. My cousin picked up the cake, drove it down to me and had the theme park that I was throwing my daughter’s 3 year old birthday party at put it in the fridge for me. When I opened the cake I found Fondant. How does the mistake happen? I threw away the cake as soon as I saw the fondant which broke my daughter’s heart and made her cry. I called the bakery, the owner picked up and her response was pretty selfless. She stated that she did it for the design. Which I clearly told her I don’t care about. That I care more about no Fondant then the design! The worst part is that she didn’t even offer to fix it. This was for my 3 year old, only child, and you just ruined it. Good job for taking my $45, I hope the owner feels good about RUINING my little girls birthday. I wish I can give it zero stars.

Perfect Wedding Cake – Menu with Prices – 869 Pickens Industrial Dr N E #3, Marietta

It’s no lie, this is the place for the perfect wedding cake. At our tasting Ramona (owner/designer) sat down with us and went over the ideas we had brought and showed us pictures to give us more ideas. The entire thing was an easy conversation. When it was over she slid her notepad across the table and there it was, a sketch of the wedding cake exactly as I had envisioned! Then came the actual tasting. Everything we tried was so delicious we had to argue about which flavors to use. In the end we compromised by doing his flavors (vanilla w/ chocolate) on the bottom tier and mine (lemon w/raspberry) on the top two.Needless to say we both walked out with a nice sugar buzz. Our original plan had been to put fowers on the cake but after contacting our florist we realized it was more than we wanted to spend. I contacted Ramona in a panic and explained the situation. She very quickly came up with the perfect solution and the final product did not disappoint. The cake itself was heavenly! We had a number of guests tell us they had their first piece and went back for a second! And although it may be tradition to save the top tier we had to eat ours instead because it was absolutely irresistible!

Sue Jacobs Cakes Bakery – Menu with Prices – 1140 N Gilbert Rd, Gilbert

Sue Jacobs is amazing We ordered our wedding cake through her (our wedding was in December of 2016) and had a wonderful experience. We ordered a three tier, half naked cake with three different fillings for the different tiers. She was, by far, the most professional and pleasant vendors we worked with and had absolutely no issues with delivery, final product or the bill. The most important thing of course is that the cake tastes amazing and it was so good that my husband and I ordered a small cake with the same flavors as our wedding cake for our Anniversary! Not only did she remember us after a year she was so sweet and congratulated us on our first year of marriage! She is worth her prices, and has a world of experience in design and baking! We love sue Jacobs and genuinely won’t go anywhere else for our baked good needs!

Fleur de Lisa – Menu with Prices – 463 Sebastopol Ave, Santa Rosa

How many people do you know ask for seconds (or in some of our guests’ cases a third serving) at a wedding reception? A few years ago I had the awesome opportunity to taste cake from Fleur de Lisa at my cousin’s wedding in Yountville. It was amazing. So fast forward to last winter when my husband and I became engaged and decided to have a Napa Valley wedding, we knew we wanted to have the same wedding cake baker. So we set up the tasting and secured the date with Jamie. The tasting was at 8:30am, which is not ideal, but we still had a great time choosing flavors for our cake. It was so difficult because there are so many great flavors. We decided to go with four flavors: cafe ole, carmella, raspberry zinger and white cake with black currant puree. People loved the cake so much that many people ended up having another serving which I knew would happen because my husband and I did the same at my cousin’s wedding. I anticipated this and ordered for more than the number I had attending the wedding. We ended up cutting into the top tier which we didn’t want to save but are most likely going to order another one prior to our one year anniversary. I’m not a fan of fondant and wanted buttercream. The swiss buttercream they use is not only light and delicious but also very beautiful. I cannot wait til I order my 1 year anniversary cake (which they recommend over saving the top tier)! Too bad we have to wait a year because our wedding was last weekend!

Nothing Bundt Cakes – Menu with Prices – 4107 Pioneer Woods Dr Suite 102, Lincoln

In order to celebrate Christs’ birthday, I order a birthday cake each year to celebrate with family. Long story short, I went to NBC and asked for birthday cake with Jesus name. I was told it does not do names on cakes but could do a birthday cake. I said that was fine and I’d just take a birthday cake. I ordered cake for a birthday and small gluten free cake. Two days later I opened cakes to celebrate with family. The so called birthday cake was plain with a hole and frosting in it. I called NBCand was blamed by Chelsie/Chasity for not choosing a cake from the board. I explained I had never order a decorated cake before and I specifically had asked for a birthday cake. The sales person never directed me to a choice of cakes. After being blamed by Chelsie/Chasity for getting the incorrect cake, I just told her to forget it. I would suggest further training of help.

Imaginary Cakes – Menu with Prices – 5202 Carolina Beach Rd #12, Wilmington

Why can I not rate higher than five stars? I honestly am blown away by Imaginary Cakes. I live out of the area, but was coming to Carolina Beach for a family birthday party. Since it was my dad’s 80th birthday, I really wanted something special, and I had to trust a vendor that I’d never heard of before and could not possibly interact with until the day of the event. From the first contact, I have been absolutely delighted with these folks. Extremely responsive, and super easy to work with. I sent a few photos of the general idea of what I was looking for and they created an absolutely delicious and gorgeous cake. It completely captured everything I was hoping it would and the quality was AMAZING. I had a few guests there that know their way around an oven and they were really impressed. I honestly cannot say enough good things about how helpful they were, and how much I enjoyed doing business with them. Would 100% recommend them to anyone who is looking for a cake for the most special occasion. I understand they do cupcakes too! Do yourself a favor and give them a try!!
